Taj is taj and there is no doubt about it. The stay is just as iconic as the brand taj with great hospitality at every corner. The only discomfort was the limited same menu daily on account of pandemic which kind of became very boring on my 4th day of stay. Except for that it was a very pleasant, comforting and memorable stay.

It Belongs to the House of Tata...A Tata group of Hotels Chain..And is Over More then ..100 Years Old...One of the Very 1st Hotel to be Built in India..It is Where all Foreign Political Leaders and Dignitaries are Put up on their Visit to Mumbai.
It has Many Restaurants like Shamiyana
Tanjore ..And the Roof top Restaurants
It has Shopping In the Ground Level and a Luxury Swimming Pool...It is the Favourite with the Indian Elites Class ...And the Services is Par Excellent...

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel with great service. On check-in we were upgraded to a complimentary sea facing room with an awesome view of the Gateway of India. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The breakfast choice is excellent.

Love the ambience and feel of this Heritage hotel! Visit their tea room for an exquisite collection of teas and coffees. And shamiana for best north indian mughlai food...

Just the view from the room on the Gateway of India and the many people is wonderful and puts the guest in another age. Although there are even more exclusive luxury hotels in India, few emit so much symbolic power. Of course, nothing is missing in this five-star hotel. Lowlights: The contrast between luxury and the poverty around it in the bustling city of Mumbai makes one think. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

A luxurious hotel next to Gateway of India with an outstanding hospitality

The Taj Hotel is the best hotel in Mumbai.The location itself is very good.After attack of 26/11 the security is now very much tightened.The rennovation work is done after those incidents in the year 2008.Tatas have done a lot for the staff working there.

Such a beautiful place to stay in South Bombay if you got money. Otherwise visitors can check Taj Mahal Tower 2 floor (meeting rooms, conference rooms, art gallery).

The Golden Dragon was comfort food and ambience, loved being there! However, the mind of culinary experiences that one has in Bombay, they surely need to keep up, particularly at their price points!

One of the best hotels i have stayed at. The room is well equipped, sea view is awesome, food at restaurant and buffet breakfast was vast and delicious. Totally top notch.

Awesome place with great ambience. Never forget to taste its awesome Chef Special delicacies. Everything was world class. The magnificient environment of the hotel and its surrounding view from the hotel room facing the sea is delightful. Do give a visit and feel life heavenly.

Amazing place and a it carries a lot of history with it..superb customer service and they pamper you with their services..My baby girl had a gala time as she was showerd with stuffed toys by the excellent staff...Indeed it has lived upto it's reputation

One of the oldest five star hotel in Mumbai. I had gone early in the morning for some coffee and deserts. The service was a disappointment. Extremely slow and inefficient. Had to call them atleast twice for everything. Should try other five stars in the vicinity

This experience is something which I remember lifetime. Finding yourself inside the historic The Taj Mahal Hotel is something which gives you goosebumps.
We had lunch in the Hotel, and the food was as good as the ambiance of the Hotel.
Even after that tough time back in 2008 the Taj Hotel standing tall.
Truly worth to come here and also to have some pictures though.
