Nice place to stay,

I stayed at a room in the tower. You can keep the windows open, thanks to the fly screens at the balcony, and enjoy really comfortable breeze from ocean at nighttime. The view from room was also great. The restaurant on the top floor offers really nice meals and atmosphere with lovely views of Mumbai city and seaside.

Wonderful hotel.

The rooms are a bit small, especially compared to Taj Mahal Palace Next Door but worth the few grand that you save. The excellent service by the staff makes it special.

A lot of people go for city facing rooms, I would personally recommend sea facing. The side overlooks the gateway of india directly and higher floors give a spectacular view of the docks as well.

Waah Taj

This is one of the most visited and sought a place in Mumbai. I have not got an opportunity to go inside, but I am sure it will be a gem inside. The architecture looks beautiful. You can also visit Gateway of India and Elephanta Caves.

World class experience...Heritage wing is like living a royal experience

This hotel wing is a run of the mill hotel. For the tiny room it is definitely overpriced. It is just a scam to make money from the highly rated big brother Taj Mahal Palace. We stayed there last time. That wing is definitely plush and spacious.

Biggest problem with this hotel is it's location . It is in the farthest south of the city by the famous landmark Gate of India. It is crowded and has bad traffic all around. On the other hand if you plan to do anything you have to go to the north of the city, an hour drive each way.

Best part of this hotel is it's people. For such busy place, at times it is highly crowded, they are just fantastic. They must have a super nice training for staff. I stayed in a Taj in many parts of India, including a few Taj Vivandis, all the hotels have great people offering outstanding personal service.

It is a nice hotel . Totally Hindu / old Indian traditional touch you can feel . Great hotel to stay in . Food is also good .

I love this hotel very much. Opposite to gateway of India , this hotel is a icon both externally and internally. Security is very very good and the staff of this hotel is very very polite and helpful. What a lovely people they are!!! There are always rush in the hotel so I advice you to book table early because it is very very hard to get table in this hotel's restaurant . The quality of food is really really amazing. Quality of service is very good because it is very expensive hotel. There are lots of beautiful halls and everything in hotel in evening gets more beautiful . Rooms are also very well maintained by HK. The view of outside from Palace is amazing . You will always find rush outside of hotel. They organize halls very well according to the theme of the event and they offers lots of starters to the guest. I wanna say that Taj mahal palace is a must visit place in your life.

One of the most memorable experiences I have had. Such good measures are taken for sanitization from covering the plates and cutlery in butter paper pouches to sanitizers in elevators. It was really great experience in Mumbai. Last couple of months ago i visited with my friends. It's nice place and I'm suggesting all you must visit in the place .

Really wonderful hotel with excellent facilities, beautiful modern rooms (with great views) and very accommodating and helpful staff.

Luxury the only one I can see for this hotel it will take around 25000 per day I had been there the staff is very very very courteous about the customer I had been asked for chips potato chips the staff hadn't give me a single broken Pratik the staff shows the courtesy here the security is very tight since there had been a terrorist attack over here in 2011 authentic Indian food which out of this hotel there is a great scenery of the Arabian Sea the Gateway of India

It's a place you dream to be in. True to its name, the Taj Mahal palace tower building has interiors suitable for a palace. It's right opposite to the Gateway of India and is the new building of the erstwhile Taj Mahal palace hotel which stands next to the building. There are various restaurants situated in this building however some are only accessible to the in house customers.
You can visit the Shamiana restaurant on the ground floor. The Apollo lounge is also present on the ground floor.
This hotel is accessible from the nearest railway stations by taxi or walking. But if you can afford to dine at this hotel, then maximum of you might be having a car of your own which is good. Valet parking is available free of cost :)

First thing is very beautiful location in front of Gateway Of India( Actually Gateway of India is constructed after 21 year of Hotel construction). They regular keep hygenic the reception area Very hygenic. Reception staff is so polite. hotel and restaurant staff is Very proffesional and they always keep sugar on their lips, because of that I overhelmed, espacially in SOUK on the rooftop restaurant Ms. Priyanka helps us while we have a breakfast. She poltely asking each and everything to us indivisually , helping to select the menu and help for serving food.

Truly a luxurious hotel. Best service. Fast check in process. The hotel itself is very well maintained. One of the oldest hotel. Has many antic items placed in the hotel. Love the interior. Rooms are also with very good interior. Stayed here for the Cricket match at wankhede.

I was in taj for a wedding ceremony. The manager was too rude they don't have manners to talk and very pathetic behaviour. Hotel design and the location is too good but staff is not good.

Best 5 star in Mumbai. Heritage place. Expensive but top class. Good high class shopping on the ground floor. Cakes are great.
