Good place to visit once.. currently outside painting is going on.

Went there for an event. Great food and huge space.

The oneof the great ever historic place. The new taj is serving great while comes to foriegners. Its so awesome here the ambiance and the rooms are well maintained. The room also well maintained. The site fron here is so awesome towards The Gateway Of India". After attacks the place is well built for better safety.

The best hotel in town . If u are a Tourist in town or came for Business . A must stay at this place. The Taj tower stay was Awsome and amazing food . All the best .

If you stay in Mumbai, here is Taj Mahal Mumbai. Five stars. Entrance is one, the far right is the tower, the left hand is the classic. We stayed at the sea side with a view of the upper floors of the India Gate Suite. Approximately 150,000 INR for 3 nights. There is a ritual to apply Bindi with and Ray of eyebrows at check-in. The room has two separate toilets and a bath shower. Basin is a little narrow. Water is a four bottle service daily. There are welcome Fleur. The windows have screen doors. When Chek, if you pass the chip, there is a service of tea and sweets, it increases the number of times to pass the chip. Somehow, such as those coming to me a chip. Guests of the suite is available Rauunji. Wine and cocktails, free soft drinks, there are only a simple knob. Breakfast is buffet style at the cafe on the first floor. Egg dishes can be cooked and ordered and brought to the table. Coffee, tea, cappuccino. There is live and live piano whistle in the lobby from 19:00. Breakfast is taken also by the pool. This is the mood is good. There are boutiques, such as Vuitton on the first floor of a classic building. The mezzanine floor Japanese restaurant was ok. Edamame, and a bowl, also Do not sushi, but there is no beef. In the evening, it took about 80 minutes from the airport by hotel limousine. In the morning, we arrived to the airport in about 50 minutes. When entering the hotel, security checks are tight.

When I saw this place it feels really good.

This is second time we have entered expecting premium services but I could not able to shut my moms mouth when after dinner no one put atleast finger bowl on her table on the contrary any premium or semi premium restaurants general do.With reference to prices food is not outstanding or the taste which you can remember as Taj's signature taste..That's all guys..even if you wish to only experience you can enter..

What a great ambience and staff and what not is great is nothing.The Rooms are very delightly decorated and the new taj is just got a bit better experience by taj Mahal palace on being newly build, from the top floors the scenes are just flawless you can see the best of fast running mumbai so tried to get top floors rooms for some reasons.

I never visited it from inside but from outside visited many time . This is in front of gateway of india and during night time it look so cool you will feel like just stay more .and from here marine drive is also near so whenever you go to visit taj hotel visit marine drive also .

We stayed at the Taj Mahal for 4 nights. When we arrived, we were given a deluxe room and also responsible staff on the night.

If you can afford, then don't think any further
Just go & enjoy luxury of the highest level.

Best hotel to stay. One of the best Service and treatment.

The occasion was not at all occasionally mundane but a super special "run to Mumbai" after more than 8 months of Covid19 Lockdow, hardly did we know I was told to pay Rs5000 as an anticipation deposit just in case.I use some food restaurants in the hotel. Morning in breakfast ordered 2 water poached eggs, but b4 I could take a full bite the super visor (no visor was used) asked me "how's it"! again "how's it"! Finally rolled the thing in my mouth & said I have been in other states hotels both overseas & here and if u give me a moment I could feel better. This Taj tower was inaugurated in 1973 & I was 16 I think. Mr Bekker did a good job. But now as per this current age of hotels this is a old establishment. And my suggestion is don't get over rated & must admit that there are numerous other 5 7 star hotels much much more elegant, classi & of great repute than Taj Tower.By the way found "cockroach "in the TV unit drawer. Be humble & know that we customers run hotels.

Internet speed could have been better and they have check in issues to sort out...

Taj mahal tower is an iconic five star hotel at Gateway of India. The hotel stands out in everything named; food, ambiance, stay, rooms, service, hospitality, courtesy of the staff, location. Nothing to say beyond it.

Been here for a WIPO intellectual property conference. Great view of the port from the inside. The history of TATA's presented in the wall frames are worth reading!

Breakfast buffet is awesome! The live egg counter was fabulous and the Akuri is to die for! The chef, Siddhesh, was fantastic.

Neither Marathas won...

Neither the Brahmins nor the Dalits...

but the English wins who even after 200 years has been able to Divide us and make us fight amongst ourselves !

Shame on us.

Unfortunately we did not spend the night there - for understandable reasons. But we were in the Chinarestaurant - and that was really good. So who ever visited the gate of India should take a look in the hotel - also architecture very nice!
