Its a grand hotel which has been up since a long time and what most people don't know is that it served as a hospital during the World War 2. It's a heritage sight of utmost important and the architecture is great. Just visiting this place gives a lot of inspiration.

average stay & pathetic food..few lady staffs in Shamiyana restra were very arrogant.. .over all will not prefer 2nd visit...

Service at the Shamiana is going from bad to worst. Food is very nice though.

Taj is Taj. Just wowed by the grandeur. The tajness experience is real. It was overwhelming experience to see the interior of the majestic hotel, each and every detail is cared to perfection. A MUST VISIT.

Fantastic location well maintained property staff is well trained only issue for someone like single. Business traveler is restaurants don't provide table Non alcoholic one person no and no or sit in remote corner facing wall or kitchen May be revenue is less I am having this issue with all Taj properties

Best place to live and stay for Foreigners very neat and very clean and also very Hygienic..

If you're looking for great service, stay here. You're never going to have anything to complain about.

The list of great people who visited here and stayed like their home tells their feelings and thoughts about the place. There is a guided tour of the palace for the guests. It tells you all about the place and is beauty. The view of the sea from the tower is breathtaking.p

The best place for a good breakfast, delightful ambience and great view is the Sea Lounge. I enjoyed walking through the Palace...and loved the huge flower displays.

Shamiana... very limited menu.. good ambience and very polite staff... the restaurant manager and her colleague were extremely gracious... the 12 inch thin crust pizza is tasty but not at all filling... the mughlai food is yummy...

I saw Taj from outside so just sharing the views how it looks. Its located very near to gateway of india. It looks really great specially in night. All the famous celebrities and businessmen stay here.

Outstanding hotel in Mumbai. Five star from my side. How much it's looks beautiful outside its more beautiful in inside.the lovely Taj great experience I ever had in life. When I was younger in my school Time .I had wish to drink tea with my friends in the taj. finally my dream come true. I had tea in this hotel in ashiyana. And there is very nice employee s in aashiyana . very good n understanding people Taj had appointed in the hotel. my love and blessings to all of Taj owner and employee .....

I love this hotel very much. Opposite to gateway of India , this hotel is a icon both externally and internally. Security is very very good and the staff of this hotel is very very polite and helpful. What a lovely people they are!!! There are always rush in the hotel so I advice you to book table early because it is very very hard to get table in this hotel's restaurant . The quality of food is really really amazing. Quality of service is very good because it is very expensive hotel. There are lots of beautiful halls and everything in hotel in evening gets more beautiful . Rooms are also very well maintained by HK. The view of outside from Palace is amazing . You will always find rush outside of hotel. They organize halls very well according to the theme of the event and they offers lots of starters to the guest. I wanna say that Taj mahal palace is a must visit place in your life.

Great to see one of the good architecture from Mumbai..every side have perfect dimensioning, even after 26/11 attack Taj is restored to its previous ... overall best
