Great shopping experience, even with this whole COVID thing. I got exactly what I needed. James was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended. The staff is wonderful as well as the store.

Went to SWS to get my first real computer made, employees here know what they are doing and can be trusted. Highly recommend going here for all your computer needs.

The cable that i need costs $8 at sws. Best Cry wants $35. Also: sws hires smart women and men who actually help me. Best Cry hires uneducated peeps who brush me off. SWS wins!

I bulit my gaming PC here and i learned how to do it here and the staff is great.

The absolute best electronics store in Tucson. Great selection of specialty stock and the staff is unbelievably knowledgeable. I love it here. I buy what I need here anytime I can. I love being able to talk to the staff and ensure I'm buying the best product. Can't say enough good things about this place.

I had them assemble my PC after I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. Had my mother pick it up so I'd have it when I got off work. Got home, was told it would work, but didn't get the chance to figure out if it really did. When looking at it, I noticed the antennas for my wifi card weren't attached, and the power cord was missing. After checking with my mother, I found out the never gave any of that stuff back to her. Nor did they give her any of the boxes for the components, which contained warranty information as well as general information.

This was a highly unsatisfactory experience, and VERY unprofessional. As a company that prides itself as being professionals and tech experts, these things should be second nature to you.

Considering that the assembly itself was more then $500, I'm even more upset. Additionally, the hours listed on the Google side bar when you Google them do not reflect the hours in the phone message, and the extensions don't work properly. It said press 5 for the tech office, 3 for accounting. Tried it twice, hit 5 both times, got transferred to accounting both times.

Helpful folks. Needed a bracket for an SSD. They had a couple of options and spent enough time to ensure things would work.

They know what you need to know! I had a project that needed some computer help -- and was told by Best Buy and Radio Shack that it "couldn't be done". I came to SWS and they hooked me up. Great prices, great service. Thanks!

I brought an Acer desktop computer that had crashed on me several times. After they thoroughly diagnosed it, they discovered it had the wrong or missing drivers. Apparently, Acer had not configured it properly. My desktop runs like new. I appreciated that they wanted to exhaust all possibilities before recommending I buy a new desktop. Thankfully, they fixed my desktop.

SWS is a great place to do business with. I have little computer experience and with the help of the SWS staff I have now built 3 computers-and they all still work without any issues. One time I did find a price difference between the website and the store I told the sales guy and he gave me the lower price without any hassle. I have also purchased several video cables(HDMI) and audio cables from this store being they are high quality without the price.

Everyone was busy and I was sent to customer service to have my question answered. I was waiting in line for a few minutes and a technician came out of the repair center to help me which was very nice.

Whoa! I am very happy to find that there are still some great family-run businesses out there! I went in to repair an old hp as well as my current Mac and the service I received was phenomenal. They made me seem like I was the only one in the shop, even thought the store was quite busy (which makes sense, bc I am sure many people know what great technical and customer service SWS offers). I was quoted a very reasonable price and was given a pick-up time that very convenient for my busy schedule. Upon picking up my computers, I was pleased to find that they had actually decreased the fee for repairs bc they had fixed the problem in less time than they initially estimated. This proved to me that they were very honest and reasonable. I will definitely go back to them for any technical repairs and purchases. If you would like to be treated with respect and honesty, go to SWS. I am so glad I found them.

I have used this company twice for repairs and upgrades and was very satisfied both times. The staff is pleasant, courteous, and responsive. I thought their prices were fair and the work was done when they said it would be. They are the best local computer company I have used.

My father's computer was dead and I brought it to SWS a half hour before closing Feb 26, 2012. SWS employee Alex found the problem, a broken on/off switch. Alex suggested a replacement that was only $3. Alex installed the switch while I shopped. I purchased two new keyboards. There was no charge for the work only the part. I was out the door in twenty minutes. The computer works great. Awesome experience, I will be a return customer. John Locke

Didn't have a case with the features I was looking for, but still had a decent selection. Had a wildly eclectic assortment of truly ancient tech, I saw a 33.6k dial up modem for instance. There was also a GTX 730 in the GPU case, which seems like something that shouldn't even be offered for sale. If someone was concerned about noise and wanted a passively cooled card, a GTX 1030 or a passive 1050 would be a better choice in every possible scenario. Selling someone a 710 or 730 in 2018 is setting them up for a frustrating and dismal computing experience.

The prices were unsurprisingly slightly higher than what you can get online, but this is to be expected. They are a local business who employee members of our community, it's worth the extra money.

Besides, 9 times out of 10, shipping costs equaled out the prices.

Thanks Daniel for your help today. I wasn't getting a display once I turned on my computer and knew it was a simple fix but, I overlooked it while troubleshooting. As soon as the case was opened he identified the issue and was fixed in less then 5 seconds. Prices arnt bad when it comes to the smaller stuff. I most likely will go back for a computer case. Thanks for the great customer service helping me out to the car, was fun holding a desktop and baby car seat in haha

I went in to SWS and had a great experience. The staff was beyond helpful and went out of their way to answer all of my questions. Everything I needed for my computer was right in the store at a reasonable price and my computer was fixed quickly. I will definitely use SWS next time and recommend it to my friends and family.

Very helpful and seems to know what they are doing. Lots of computers on hand plenty of parts. Went in got seen right a way by a friendly young man who knew right away the trouble and fixed it

If you haven't taken the time to check out this local business, then you're missing out on their custom builds for every kind of computing needs, great experience with upgrades and repairs, and an easy place to recycle your electronics for free. These guys are awesome, and the first place I go for my computer needs.

This is a great spot and I would go here before goin to Best Buy anyday. They know what they're talking about and the store is laid out very well. I'm a fan.

I really enjoy going into SWS. The staff is nice and helpful. They have some cool stuff. The only issue I have with them is their poorly designed and maintained website.

Well, they're a bit inconsistent. Have taken stuff to get fix and sometimes they do good sometimes I have to take stuff back. Sometimes they are quick sometimes they take too long. Don't like that they charge you 25.00 to take a look at your item to see what you need, in addition to the charge for fixing it and for parts..

The store has a good selection of mid level PC items. It is extremely out of date with pricing. CPUs were all over priced $100 - $150. GPUs were almost $200-300 bucks over priced. I am all about supporting local business but im not getting robbed in the process of doing it.

Best buy has better prices and its a couple miles away.

Prices here are usually not as competitive as other stores or online but if it is something you need in a pinch then it's worth to go here. They have all the weird accessories that you need for your computer and all the standard components. Haven't used their technical service for computers so can't say how likely I'll use it.

They are only performing curb side pick up. This would be fine if they said something on their website. As of 5/18, they do not. They also don't have any way to see what they have on their website. Also, this is the third time I've come by for a USB c cable and they don't have any. What kind of electrics store doesn't have USB c cables in stock??

Asked about a laptop charger. The young man we spoke to said they didn t have it which was fine. However, his tone was rude and he was not helpful when we asked follow up questions. Furthermore, he didn t ask us if we needed anything else. What he didn t know is that we were also looking to buy a new computer. We will be taking our money somewhere else. This company lost our business because of a dismissive representative.

I was looking for some small computer parts that aren't easy to find and they found them for me. Associates were friendly & very helpful!

seriously? I've been a loyal sws customer for years. Since '08. Today I came into the store to buy a case. I knew exactly what I wanted a corsair 570x. The store was very busy so some of this is somewhat understandable. All employees were busy helping people. No problem I'll look around myself. For some reason 2 employees were helping different customers near the cases. Making it very hard to look for be case I needed, as I went around one of the isles one of the employees reached for an item and practically knocked me into the shelf.. told him excuse me I need to get to the shelf near his feet twice before getting his attention. After he moved I realized that wasn't the correct case either so I decided to wait for help.. no one made eye contact with me for around 5 minutes so I decided to go out to my car and call the store....

Spent about 10 minutes on the phone waiting for someone to let me know if the case was even in stock and then I hung up and drove out of the parking lot

What a waste of time. I usually preferred shopping at sws but amazon has better prices anyways. You guys are obviously busy enough that my business isn't very important! Definitely proved that to me today!

SWS is the BEST! Had a problem with a brand new harddrive not formatting to full size. Hours on the computer looking for answers. Tried everything on Western Digital KB and FAQ with several answers that did not work. However, SWS (Brandon) fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Even though I was using a brand new PC and tried other PCs, there was something amiss in the system BIOS's which prevented seeing the entire 4TB drive to format it. Thanks Brandon!

I was on vacation, and my charger died for my laptop. Not only did SWS have the best prices but they also plugged it in right there to make sure I got the right one and wouldn't have to worry about it not working. I just wish we had one in my city for when I'm home to get all my cables from. I am just amazed at the prices. Great job guys!!

Logan is very helpful and when I purchased an HDMI to VGA adapter the original purchase would not fit because of the HP's design (the connectors were too close.) He gave me a replacement part that fit perfect.

I needed to reconnect a new Directv cable box and an old laptop to my wi-fi - for which I had, of course, forgotten the password. Not to mention, I have never had any luck with connectivity. Never! Ever!!
SWS sent Eric to my place to do all this for me.
Eric is knowledgeable, efficient and competent to the point of making it all seem like mere wizardry. And he is also a nice guy.
AND the price was right.

Always the best staff in Tucson and they know their stuff. Reliable, price friendly and local, the staff assisted me in building a computer suited for my needs with options both up and down and backing me off from what could be considered overkill. After reviewing the suggested products at home, everything seems perfect and I will even be adding on to it per a few minor suggestions from the staff. Even though they are unable to match perfectly the prices of these major online stores, the fact that they are within a short distance of the price says I will buy from them every time.

I just returned from SWS Electronics & Computers. I got amazing service there. My laptop, on which I depend for a living, was not reading a flash drive, and I dropped by there not knowing if it could be repaired or how long it would take. The employee at SWS, a guy named Keve, was so helpful. He figured out the problem right away, was very courteous and efficient, and fixed the issue literally right in front of my eyes. I am so grateful, and if this gentleman is representative of what SWS has to offer, I'm going to take all my computer issues to them from now on.

Great service! When Best Buy sold me the wrong SSD I went to this place. I should have came here first! They helped me get the SSD then cloned my HDD in one business day! Highly recommend for computer needs!

They have a good selection of miscellaneous electrical pieces,parts, attachments,and adapters.It was clean, somewhat empty but it felt like they were breathing down my neck the whole time.

Sws loves overcharging on products because they are the only place like them in town. It is sad they continue to take advantage of people. They are barely knowledgeable unless you actually get a tech or manager.

I had an embarassing situation where I needed to both have something done witha new computer, and then shortly thereafter 'undone'. Long story, but the relevance here is that the technician at SWS actually called me and said;
1. What exactly are you trying to do so we don't screw it up?
2. Cut me a price break because the task was small.
3. Most importantly, Fred did not make me feel stupid, even though I most certainly was.

I'd go to those boys in the future for the integriy of all of those moves.
