For musicians and sound people this is THE PLACE. Gearfest is the event but there's a million reasons to go back. Even for the small items: cables, picks, strings...and there's food available too. Spend the day and spend some cash.

Can't say enough good things about Sweetwater! I am a volunteer at our church and have run sound for our contemporary service and praise team for a few years but had no formal training. I took the Live Sound for Houses of Worship training this year and was amazed at how much I was able to learn in a couple weekends! I was then given the ok to do a fairly large sound upgrade to our sanctuary that would also allow us to play outside the church and was nervous about taking it on but my sales rep Ben Porter was incredible at assisting me through it and very patient with my lack of knowledge and training. He never made me feel inferior or dumb and was great at guiding me to the best fit and value for our church. We did have one piece of equipment fail (it happens) close to our main Christmas program and I was blown away at the support and response I got from Sweetwater, they took going above and beyond to a whole new level! I will definitely be coming back to Sweetwater for any further training and equipment needs and would highly recommend them and Ben to anyone!

Amazing place. Going here as a musician is like going to the biggest toy store imaginable. The selection is out of this world. And the service is always absolutely outstanding. Hell, there's even a curly slide and free arcade games. You can't beat Sweetwater.

I have only visited twice, But I am very impressed by their professionalism and friendly service. The store is big and beautiful. Worth a visit.

AMAZING!!! I live in NC but was visiting the Ft Wayne area for the holidays so I decided to check out Sweetwater. I asked them to pull 3 guitars, that were not on display, so I could decide on the one I wanted. The staff were happy and ready to help and while waiting for the guitars to be brought up front there was plenty to explore. Acoustic, electric and bass guitars all have their separate rooms with all the amps you could want to try. And if you don't see it ask someone. They even have a small shop for used equipment. Next trip I will visit again.

However, their products are NOT. I ordered a huge batch of gear and half of it didn't work properly. The preamp I ordered had a horrible ground hum so I returned it to them, but when they gave it to their tech staff they claimed nothing was wrong with it, and sold it to another customer! I spent a small fortune on this gear. Gear that costs that much should NEVER be defective.

Really cool place to shop. Staff is super friendly. They even have a cafeteria style food court and a small section with games for kids and young adults. Prices are great also.

Patrick gave us a tour of the facilities and helped us pick out everything we needed. They always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy whether in store, online, or by phone. By far the best place to shop for musicians.

I found this company a few years ago when I first got into drumming, and now I buy everything from them. After attending gearfest I was amazed. The customer service is astounding. Every purchase is insured with a 2 year warranty and free tech support (and candy). I purchased a mixer, and had problems with it connecting to my laptop. I called Sweetwater and the tecs connected to my computer and fixed it in about 3 minutes. If you are into music you will be amazed. By far the best music company ever!

Absolutely incredible experience. I have never had better customer service, friendlier atmosphere, or faster error resolutions anywhere. The staff are extremely helpful and open, while not being overshadowing. For example, staff will ask if you need help at very spaced intervals, but will never leave you hanging if you appear to be looking for something. Deserves more than five stars. Building was clean, fun, interactive, and maneuverable complete with an enormous food court, a free arcade and even a slide. When I upgrade my equipment (or get asked for advice on where to look for the best products, prices and service), Sweetwater will always be my go-to and only option. Thanks again.

This place is the best! Andrew helped me out between a few different amps and demoed them for me (I m a bass player. Guitar is something new!) and he was awesome! Super super helpful, great deals, and beautiful store! 10/10

They have a TON of staff and they are extremely attentive. However, for a place that is the largest music store in the country we were a little disappointed by the amount of stock. It's more of a venue than store. They have auditoriums, an outside concer pavilion, cafes, arcade, hair salon. If you were going for an event or just to have the experience its it's great. But not so much for large stock and purchasing in person.

Sweetwater is amazing! Absolutely anything and everything you could want to do that has any connection to music can be found there. The employees are quick to answer questions and know their inventory. They also repair instruments. It's worth a visit just to look into the warehouse and have lunch or coffee in the cafe. Check the boards for lists of events in the theatre and also live music all around Fort Wayne.

The best place you could buy musical instruments from! If you're a guitarist and you love playing guitar, they have the best selections of guitars out there! They have almost every brand of guitar that you can think of! I purchased my Gibson Les Paul tribute from Sweetwater and I am very pleased with it! They also do a great job making sure your instrument is in tip top shape and get it ready for playing as soon as you receive your instrument when ordering online! They also have some really great payment plans as well for the extremely pricey instruments that you can pay monthly if you don't have all the money right away! I would recommend Sweetwater to any musician who loves to rock! I am totally happy with my experience with Sweetwater! They're the best musical instrument store in Indiana, in the Midwest, and possibly the best in the US of A! I am definitely going to continue business with Sweetwater!

Probably the worst shipping policies for a company that I have ever had to deal with, my bass was set to come in about a week after I placed the order, and 3 weeks in I decided to call to get updated and they informed me that my bass wouldn t be in for another 4 months so I had to change the backing. Then, the tune gear was wrong so they were sending me a new one that would take about 15 days to get here, and about a month and a half later here I am with no gear.

Found a pair of speakers and chose the 3 Easy Payment Plan. Sales Associate calls me 3 days later to tell me that they are unable to process my order with 3 payments, and that if I sill wanted to purchase the speakers, I would have to pay full price up front. They would not tell me why I could not purchase on the Payment Plan.
I was referred to Sweetwater by a very good friend of mine in California and I am highly disappointed. What is the point of offering your customers payment plans, then telling them that they can't do the payment plan and then that I have to pay it all up front? Was expecting better service but sadly, it was terrible.

No better place around. Huge selection of instruments, staff is knowledgeable and quick to help in any way possible. Kids love the free arcade and slide and playing the pianos. They do a great payment plan and I do believe it's so many months same as cash... take the kiddos up for a fun Saturday or Sunday afternoon. You will not regret visiting this facility and I guarantee you'll be back.

Such an awesome place to go for anything music related. Went here to get some piano music for my son. Not only did it have that but it had food, a fun slide for my kids to go down, so many instruments for them to look at. It was a really fun outing to take them on! Plus it has a little arcade!

Excellent customer service when selecting a drum set for our son. Could not have been more helpful. Every time we are there we are greeted with a smile and hello but then left to browse until we want help. Not pushy, but also don't ignore you. Just the right amount of "let me know when you need something, and I'll check back with you in a bit to make sure you're doing ok" attentiveness. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about their particular areas and will find someone who knows the instrument you need help with if they don't.
