I'm on my first bus trip and the bus I'm on sucks. There is no phone charges some of the seats the backs won't adjust, others the padding is worn out from people sitting on them. 2 of the tv's don't work and the bus is just worn out. How ever Joann our bus driver. was great.

Literally the worst bus service ever. I asked to get off at a different stop which would be easier for my ride to pick me up at and the driver said that "he had no need to go to that stop" just because my ticket didn't say that I'm getting off at said stop. I will never ride with Susquehanna ever again.

we were rushed off the bus,the driver knew my daughter had surgery on her foot it was obvious.. i had my son in my arms, which i should not hold due to injury on my back, my 2 year old just got out of the hospital for a seizure. he still had his hospital band on.
the driver quickly rushed us off, rushed our luggage and dropped it.. then my daughter said "i think were missing a bag". I turned to look and ask the driver, the door to the luggage was closed and he was already on the bus, door closed and took off.. that quick.. basically we called, explained, and were told they will leave a note to hold our luggage. we kept calling due to not finding a ride,we were reasured our luggage was there.. well, today its not,and all medical information is gone, personal information,gone.. soo, now all my childrens personal information is out there..
we know no one where we live, cab too expensive to travel that far.yes we understand the rules, yet they knew our circumstance, and we were told to keep calling,we were told there will be a note to hold on to the luggage.
now we got a ride, and its gone!?
yes there were more surgeries, then my 2 year old got ill, same as my other children.. sucks,I know.. You think they were being honest and all this time they lied.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HIGH PRICES! Not every experience is bad, and some drivers are very friendly. However, I've received horrendous customer service from all levels of the company. They have rude people working at all levels of the company: phone operators, ticket salespeople, the drivers, and management. In a disagreement with a driver, he laughed in my face and the manager defended the employees rude behavior and threatened to not let me on my bus when I gave an attitude back. They are not very flexible and refuse to give refunds or transfer your ticket to another day. They also want you to take whichever bus route you're given, they get very annoyed and may simply refuse if you discover another way to get to your destination and request to be on a different bus. The bus will be sure to leave behind anyone who's not ready at the exact time, but arrivals are still late many days. The drivers that are actually friendly and polite, not giving refunds, and not much competition in the more rural parts of PA is probably the only reason this company is still in existence.

I took a bus ride on Susquehanna Trailways on August 17th 2019 from Mansfield PA to Harrisburg PA. The bus driver was very very nice. He was a good driver and very polite. I had a really nice ride on Susquehanna Trailways thanks!!

I recently took Susquehanna trailways from Port Auth. NYC. Before even getting on the bus, a young gentleman showed his paper ticket to the driver. He immediately started yelling at the man telling him he had the wrong bus. And why didn't he read his ticket? His bus was right next to it. The man was just asking for help. I then boarded the bus and a women came with a ticket on her smart phone. She said she purchased it in a taxi on the way. The driver told her she had to go upstairs to print it. It was 3:58 -bus was leaving at 4PM. She said there was no time, he agreed and told her to buy a new ticket. $68.00. She handed him a chug card which he said he could not except. He began walking into bus. She followed behind him and he CLOSEDOWN the door on her. She began shouting to open the door as her belongings were inside with her hands. He waited a moment then quickly opened and closed door. She tapped on door saying she just wanted to ask him a question. His reply shouting NO NO NO. We took off and he started shouting how he was sick of these internet tickets. I myself had one as did others on the bus. When we got to Easton he went into depot and upon returning to bus saw a women going to the bathroom on the bus. He shouted mam mam I need to use that before you. The women sat down and HE entered the bathroom. He had just left depot so if it was that necessary he could have gone in the depot. Then we thought he had to move the bus to be on time. He took something out of his personnel belongings and began to eat for the next 6 minutes. Obviously neither thought above was on his mine. This driver is a stout little bully, just mean. He spoke to dispatcher Chris on phone about working the following Sat. On a trip to Hershey park. His first question was whose workink? Probably somebody I don't like. This guy should not be allowed to work with the public. He behaved like an animal. He was rude to many and how dare he stop a paying customer from using the bathroom before him. I will not use this bus line again. Nor will the groups I'm associated with. This person needs to be fired or is that what unions do? Protect their members to the point of abuse towards others. I know his job is not an easy one. Join the rest of us that work with the public. Act like an adult and be polite. Do your job and show respect for others. If you cannot then maybe it's time for you to retire. You are the meanest unprofessional individual I've ever seen.

I bought a round trip ticket online but was not able to use the return ticket and they would NOT re-schedule my trip to another day. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! If you have a choice to go to Hazleton, do not take this bus!!!!!! They don't have sympathy to their customer, there's always plenty of room on this bus.

I took a bus from Williamsport to Philadelphia and we stopped here. Restrooms were clean and there were vending machines. I wasn't there long it was perfectly adequate. It is small but it's attractive. Would not mind using it again

Been using this bus for years now I absolutely love the staff. I think the prices are reasonable. The buses are usually clean. I honestly have no complaints maybe except I'd love to see outlets on the buses so they customers can charge their devices.

Frequently late busses, bad prices, atrocious customer service. As many other stated, their buses are never close to full and their business policies and phone manners are rude and severely questionable. I was repeatedly spoken down to on the phone by a gentleman before I demanded to speak to a different person. The bus drivers are maybe the best employees here. Not sure how these people stay in business. It makes sense that they are desperate not to refund any money and apply as many extra fees as possible.

NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!

NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!
The bus had a breakdown during the ride to NYC, this could have been prevented if the bus driver would have checked the bus before he started driving. We had to wait multiple hours for a replacement bus. During this waiting period the staff did not give us any information and they did not even try to communicate with us. In the end we arrived 3 or 4 hours too late in NYC and these hours were stolen form our very limited time we have been in NYC. In addition the staff did not even apologised for their mistake and one staff member was very unkind when I said that this is not ok and I expected better service for more than 100 Dollars fro the ride! I still wait for my refund...

Terrible customer service. They are rude and talk down to you. They keep you on hold for a long time. The bus was very late and the driver didn't accept my ticket just because it wasn't printed out. I had my receipt printed out. When I was told that they don't accept tickets on the phone I went to the website to check. The warnings are barely noticeable on a phone. They're giving me a hard time settling this matter. I regret using their service.

As an advisor of the NJHS, my co-advisor and I have used Susquehanna Trailways for the past 11 years for our annual trip to Washington D.C. They are the easiest company to work with when planning such a one day trip. The drivers are courteous and the scheduler was polite and helpful. Thank you Susquehanna Trailways for always being consistent and reliable.

I m giving this company two stars, because I got to my destination in one piece, at least physically. Mentally and emotionally I have to brace for this horrific trip every time I need to come home to Pennsylvania from NYC. There are no trains near my hometown and no other buses ONLY this one. It takes about 3 and a half hours to drive straight to my hometown but nearly 7 every time I take this bus, when it should be five. Here s what you can guarantee you ll experience on this bus:

-Driver suddenly pulls over somewhere completely random during the trip, says nothing and has us wait about a half hour at LEAST before anorher driver comes. No explanation.
-at the bus transfer in Lehighton, we wait another 30 minutes for the transfer bus to arrive.
-At least one person forgets what their stop was and makes the driver turn around, we sit at a stop waiting for one person to arrive to the bus, and we park at reading for at least 15 minutes for no reason even though the schedule says it leaves immediately.

This doesn t include the handful of bus breakdowns I ve experienced, uncomfortable seats, lack of outlets and often, lack of air conditioning or heat. Oh, and it s $140 round trip. To take a bus. Back to Pennsylvania.

I have endured this trip for years because I ve had to. The MINUTE I am making enough money to justify getting a rental car, I will take that option every time and never look back. An entire day is shot just trying to get not even four hours away. By the end of every trip, I m practically crawling off the bus isn t he worst mood I ve ever been in. Nothing can save you on this trip except maybe a double dose of CBD.

Driver was good ,waiting two hours in Atlantic City for a flat tire to be changed was unavoidable but the bus company could have or should have given us a small token back towards our next trip.

Paid $100 for a round trip ticket. On my return ride was taken half way and then told my ticket was in the wrong form and told a correct ticket was $10. I had no money. They refused to accept payment over the phone or online from a family member. Was told I would be stranded in an unfamiliar town where I knew no one with no money and no cell coverage. The staff was completely unsympathetic. Literally had to bum $10 from a really nice lady that was on the bus. I have taken this same route probably a dozen times and spent upwards of $1000 with this company. They will never see my business again, all over their complete inflexibility over demanding $10 but refusing all my methods of payment.
