We're given a room that had a strong smoke odor, asked for another room and was given a room where the air conditioner barely worked. We ended up being charged for 2 rooms and no one can explain why. After 2 weeks was finally reimbursed one of the rooms (176) but they still don't know why double charge. We stayed multiple days and had to ask daily to get towels and garbage taken care of. The hallways have a strong odor in them and noticed our first night the non booked rooms were left open with windows open on our floor as if they were airing it out, so perhaps there was an incident. When asked about the rooms open and non of the doors on the building being locked if they were concerned about people simply walking in and staying in a room the front desk didn't seem too concerned. The 10 we saved each night is not worth this mess.

We stayed here during the first week of June, 2020 for just one night. At the time, the place was preparing for renovation, and it needs it. The staff that checked us is was nice enough, but not too concerned about presenting a professional appearance. The pictures on the website make the place look bright, but it was pretty dark while we were there.

The room was clean, but aged. There was a fridge. For a place to stay for one night, it was fine.

Breakfast was adjusted for COVID-19. They gave us a sack with a bottle of water, a packaged cinnamon roll and a fruit cup and a juice cup (orange or apple).

Really, not more to say about this place. If you are using it for a one night stay, it works fine. If you are going to make it a home base for your visit to the area, you may want to look for something a bit more homey.

We stayed here 3 months bc I was in town for work and I loved it! Most of the staff were very friendly, especially Barb, Tyler, and breakfast host. Breakfast was very delicious and filling. I loved the room and would definitely come again.

The first Super 8 in the nation! And it's showing its age. Still, the room was comfortable at a reasonable price (especially over a holiday weekend). I suppose that the good price might have been due to the pool being out of order due to renovations. It didn't matter to us. The free breakfast isn't posh at all, but my the waffles address surprisingly good.

Nasty hotel... Entire place smells of smoke and mold.
Got into my room to find nothing but the bar of soap from the previous person and hair everywhere... Dried blood on one of the towels.
AC barely worked and sounded like a aircraft trying to take off.
Food or vomit on the bottom runners of the bed.
Happend to move the night stand a little to charge my phone and found trash and old candy behind it, I don't think the cleaning staff is here to clean at all.
Walked around and it felt like the foor hadn't been vacuumed in weeks.. Grit and trash everywhere.
Nasty... Stay anywhere but here in Aberdeen.
It may be the oldest super 8 but there is no Nostalgia in something this old and gross.
Desperately needs gutted and updated.

If I could give it a zero star I would. We checked into the hotel and got to our room, as soon as we sat on the bed it broke in the center, instead of moving us, we had to sleep in that room for a night. They finally moved us and our bathroom door wouldn t shut. There is no pool like it is advertised in certain legs. The front desk lady Theresa was completely rude. It was pulling teeth. Not worth it at all.

The second worst place I ve stayed at! WiFi slower the dialup ( if anyone remembers that ) mold everywhere, floor extremely stained and dirty, beds are like $50 spring mattress with bedbug plastic, AC unit pump heat when on cool setting and shower filled with soap scum. If I can rate it a half I would only cause there availability and understand why now.

Absolutely terrible guest services!! Upon arrival from a three hour drive with three young kids in tow, we tried checking in to our room we reserved two months prior. We were told our room wasn't ready yet but to come back in an hour or so. More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. When we walked through the door we waited over 5 minutes to be greeted while the front desk staff checked on a room a guest complained wasn't yet made up. The front desk staff's demeanor was awful. "Sorry, but I was told it was ready." Doesn't sound apologetic to me at all. Once we were finally able to check in she quipped, "I hope your room is clean." Really?! Well, it was made up, but the bathroom was far from clean. There was pubic hair on the bathroom floor and urine on the toilet seat. When we complained her response was, "Well, they try to be fast." Wow.
My husband and I traveled five hours on a motorcycle in 50 degree weather IN THE POURING RAIN to get here. I kid you not that the promise of a hot tub was the only thing that kept us going since we were essentially human popsicles. Well, the hot tub was closed for repair, and I refused to step foot in the pool since it had a brown film on the bottom where you could see people's footprints. Gross! Since a hot shower was this hotel's only saving grace, that was next. After washing my hair on accident with body lotion (assuming the third bottle out of lotion and conditioner MUST be shampoo!) I had had enough. We checked to see if ANYWHERE else in this town had availability. Unfortunately for us, there wasn't (and believe me, we tried) or we would have left immediately. The cherry on the top was that when we asked for extra pillows, the same front desk lady's response was, "We don't keep extras."

BOTTOM LINE: I will never stay here again. I may also revise my last review of the hotel we left in Deadwood, since compared to here it was the Ritz-Carlton. I feel so strongly about this bad experience that I am going to also complain to Wyndham.

The room was ok; certainly clean. I find the bed a bit uncomfortable though, too hard for my preference. There were also only two pillows per bed, so one per person for our stay. They were configurable, but small - two would have been better. One lamp was unplugged, I didn't bother to investigate or report it. There also seemed to be a hole or weak spot in the floor by the bed near the door, again I did not investigate or report it. We were there long enough to sleep, shower, eat and leave. The room was great for that, but thinking long-term, I would have requested another room. Breakfast was ok. I knew ahead of time what it would be; waffles, cereal, donuts, muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee, milk, fruit. Pretty good considering it was included, but did not include a protein. The staff when we checked in was awesome, very friendly. The staff when we checked out was still good, but more businesslike. Overall, a good stay.

Rooms are not that great. The phone in my room didn't work. The water drained down the sink and shower super slow so it backed up quickly. Cleanliness was subpar and the outlet was behind the bed so you had to pull the need out to plug anything in.

Contrary to went sites, no pool or hot tub. Was told those won't be fixed either.
Breakfast was good, waffles, doughnuts, standard budget fare.
Recommend not getting rooms facing hwy 12, very noisy.
Rooms are very clean though.

It was ok. We were put in a very cramped room. The bathroom had very little room for toiletries, etc. But the bed was comfortable and were able to sleep. It had an older television, which was surprising. They usually have the flat screen tvs. All in all it was ok for a night. Staff was very friendly.
