It was a great bar with phenomenal drinks. Unfortunately it was a little bit more on the pricey side but otherwise the service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend going there even if it is for just one drink.

The Tower Bar is an excellent choice for dinner and drinks on Sunset Blvd... The cocktails are amazing and worth every penny. Dinner was excellent ( Try the filet mignon and cheeaecake, probably my favorite in LA) Setting is beautiful and piano player is a nice touch

I'd read many of the positive reviews of the Sunset Tower Hotel before I booked my stay, and I can say without doubt that I agree with all of them. I was so pleased to experience for myself the exceptionally warm and friendly atmosphere, lovely terrace/pool area, and incredible staff. Their friendliness and chattiness was clearly genuine and they would go out of their way to help you when needed. They were extremely polite and professional at all times. The general ambience of the hotel is very charming and the art deco style sets it apart from other hotels. Rooms are a little bit small but that didn't matter to us as they were always clean and comfortable and the bed was also extremely comfortable. I loved the decor in the bathrooms! I felt genuinely sad to leave after only 4 nights as they really do make you feel so welcome, and I will certainly stay there again the next time I'm in LA.

The staff did the best they could to make people at ease during the storm. When our card keys stopped working they sent a bellhop up 7 flights of stairs to give us new keys as the elevators were not working due to a blackout.

One of my top favorite hotels I have ever stayed in. Love the history. Very happy it's still here. The beds are the best!!! You just sink right in for a good night sleep. The resturants and views are magical. Feel at home here.

The service wasn't the best, I got a small and run down room and when I complained they reluctantly upgraded me to a more expensive room. Didnt tell me they were charging me extra and found out the hard way

My wife and I had a great time. There is so much character and history at the hotel. The moment we were dropped off to the moment we left we were always addressed by name which is a nice touch. The continental breakfast each morning was superb with fresh berries, a discounted omelette and juices. The rooms are small but have a lot of other pluses that more than make up for it: luxurious linens, large spacious showers, top notch bathroom amenities. We had dinner at the tower bar one night which turned out to be our favorite dinner spot of the entire LA trip.

You will find no shortage of praise for the hotel so I thought I might as well add a couple of extremely picky points for potential improvement.
- TV video system doesn't appear to have been updated in the last decade. A modern TV but the cable / remote system are straight out of 2000.
- Turn down service includes a bottle of tap water. I can get tap water easy enough, why not make it a little more special with sparkling
- well stocked minibar but no sign anywhere for prices.

Feels silly writing those points down but the rest of the stay was so great you have to really go looking to find something to change.

Looking forward to a return visit.

We had booked to stay at Sunset Towers as a celebration of my birthday for our last night in LA. We were both excited to stay here however we both agree that this was the most disappointing experience at any hotel we have both visited and More

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay...it is old. But it is clean and the owners don't allow nefarious activities. If you want to come to LA on vacation...and don't want to spend all your money on a hotel...it's perfect!

I have never been at a hotel when the staff was so rude. At every moment of our stay we were made to feel second class. Our room was $2000. thank you for nothing sunset tower. You'll never have our business again.

This old historic Hollywood hotel has maintained it s elegance and glamour. The staff was very helpful and sweet. The suites are spacious and comfortable. The marble bathroom has all the modern amenities you need. I highly recommend staring your day having breakfast in the Terrace Restaurant.

We stayed here in February and it was so so so nice. It really feels totally like old Hollywood glamour, LA people having vapid conversations over breakfast by the useless pool. Seriously though, it's great. I love it here.
