Croatia Yachting Review

I ve been sailing with Croatia Yachting for 2 years now with my girlfriend. The service they offer is outstanding and the crew working there are all very friendly. On both occasions our boat was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for our 1 week stay. We ll be back next year for sure!

Boat was perfect ready and clean. But all week we was finding a problems.

First thing was fridge which cooling 20 celsius and lots food expired.

No function indicator of fuel and water, both show that tanks are full, but that is not true.

Sometimes lights were not lightning.

We had problems with toilet and water too because man, who give the boat, give wrong information about set up of the boat.

When we arrived to the marina Ka tela after our trip, we wanted to return the yacht. This is the most trouble of vacation. The main problem was in communication with the officers and manager.

They found out fishing line is in propeller. I understand we have responsibility for the yacht a we have duty to pay repairing, but they didn t able to solve it. Three times they said to we came to the office for 20 min. When we came for third, secretary told me ,,manager go home and you will come tomorrow at 8 o clock. We were next day at 8 o clock in the office a we were solving the problem with the fishing line. But manager all the time went out and he avoided us. Finally he counted how much money will be repairing (500 ).

Then we wanted to solve the problem with fridge, he went on the boat to check it, he came back and said to secretary something about compensation 500 kuna and he said us ,,sorry, i am coming for 2 min and imediatelly he disappeared. We are waiting next 15 min, officers told us ,,he is coming, but i don t know when. We went him to finding in the marina, but we were unsuccessful.

We decided we went go home, because we don t have a energy for theirs.

In the office were lots of people, who had problem with their yachts.

This is yacht rental Croatia Yachting is very commercial, their main goal is earn more and more money and orientation to needs of clients is very under average.

Fortunately we have luck for weather, we were friendly and social crew. With the vacation we are satisfied but attitude of boat rental is catastrophic.

sailing with Croatia Yachting now for a few years, they always make sure everything is taken care of. They are close to spilt airport, a (big) uber is around 350 HKR ( 47,-) Near there harbor are several big grocery stores within walking distance, and there is a small store on the harbor. We wil definitely be sailing with them next year!

Although paid for early check-in, boat was not ready. When checking out they charged us for a fishing line in the propeller (600 Kuna). As we had no problem with this engine and it was running pretty well I think they were looking for some artificial reason to make some extra money.
Stay away from this company!!

Great for their Hanse 455 "Wind Rose"

I recently contracted a week of charter with this company. The deal left quite a lot to be desired. In the pictures the boat appeared with mats but this one did not have, not even from stern. They charged us 25 euros for the aft, which belonged to another model and did not even have support and there was no way to get ahead even paying 90 euros asking us. The Dingui that they put us in, was full of patches and did not even have a drain in the stern. The boat did not have even a minimum space to tie something. We anchored lost the stern ladder since a wave took it from the anchors. They charged us 350 euros for a ladder and 70 euros for a used defense. A pity of company since the country offers tremendous possibilities, but we are very dissatisfied with the treatment received. If someone rents with them read the fine print very well they charge you for the towels, which are ridiculous

I have used Croatia Yachting several times and we are very impressed with their service and dedication. I have told them that our grandson of 3 would join, they have secured the boat railing with a net so he could not fall out. Thanks guys for this excellent service.

Hello, the main goal of this charter company is simply to make money from you by finding any problem on the boat and issuing an invoice for you. company resends charter from other charter companies, beware of them!!!

I am now in my 11-th year of sailing in Croatia. I take between 2 and 4 weeks each year. I have used many charter companies through the years. I must say Croatia Yachting is, hands down, the best of them. They take excellent care of their boats, a 5-6-7 year old boat in their fleet feels like a 3 year old in some others' fleets. By saying that I do not mean they are perfect, I had my share of mishaps and frictions, but they were always helpful and fair. They helped me get out of some tricky situations out in the sea, finding good and quick help for me several times. Sure, they made me pay for my damages. Who else should pay? I remember once I put a small 3 cm dent in my rudder, and I did not even notice. They explained to me that this has to be dealt with immediately because otherwise water gets in and the whole rudder will be damaged. The repair cost 4o , taking the boat out for the repair was 400 . Sh@# happens. Made me much more careful next time. As I said, they are not perfect but they are damn good and I must commend the job they do while turning 40+ boats around from 8.00 to 16.00, solving the miriad small problems that we, clients, bring with us and could not care less.
I read the opinion of an angry customer who was charged 600 for a repair, who said the charter company should have left the boat as they brought it, it was no big deal, fishing line in the propeller be damned. Seriously?? Would you like to be the next crew? Would you like the fishing line damaging the seal around the propeller shaft and have the boat leaking water and overwhelming your bilge pump? Maybe we should behave more like adults and own our responsibilities. Way to go, CY. Good job.

I have been chartering sailing yachts in the Adriatic since 2010. Ever since I first chartered a yacht from Croatia Yachting in 2015, I have received fantastic service from their staff and the yachts were very well prepared and clean. They try to resolve any issues with the highest priority. The check-in and the check-out procedures are very efficient and professional. I can recommend CY to everybody who want to have a perfect sailing experience in Croatia.
