Awesome experience, do the night time pass over the strip for a photo opportunity, well worth the money, if your going to vegas and haven't been to the Grand canyon before, you cannot miss this, plus you get to see the Hoover dam from an elevated position on terrafirma

Flew to the canyon in December with Odile. Great experience all around and well worth the money, Couldn't have had a better pilot so well done to Odile, she also took the nerves out of getting into a helicopter for the first time. Don't look any further, use this company!

The pilot was fantastic, the sights are beautiful, and the experience was great.
I would do this again. The only negative was the limo ride. I wish I could have driven myself to the location because I am a local.

Everything was Great and scenic! The way to go if you want to experience the Grand Canyon in one day without having to do it all day.... Yes, the price is steep but worth it.

DO IT! It is well worth the price and the flight is so smooth you don't feel a thing! I'm terrified of heights, but this is smoother than an airplane.

Great scenic tour over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, and. Grand Canyon. We landed in the canyon for champagne lunch. Chuck was a fun and knowledgeable pilot. Well worth the money.

My friend and I were looking for a couple epic things to do during our weekend in Vegas. Flying over the strip in a helicopter was on the list. As we started doing research on the best tours, we found Sundance. They had the best reviews and a great price point.

We ended up paying $99 per person to be picked up from our hotel (the Luxor) in a limo and driven to the helicopter tour site for a 15 minute fly around the Las Vegas strip.

Although they were about 30 minutes late, our driver was very professional and the limo was clean. There weren't any drinks in the limo which would've added some extra fun. It took roughly 5 minutes to get to the helicopter site.

After we checked in, we waited no longer than 10 minutes for our pilot to come get us. Ingo was our pilots name. He chatted with us for a few minutes while we waited, it was nice getting to know him and where he was from. It made my first experience in a helicopter a little more relaxing!

He explained a few rules and before we knew it, the helicopter was taking off and we were flying over the strip. The ride lasted a little over 15 minutes and the views were absolutely incredible. I highly recommend trying to sit in the front with the pilot if you can fight off the other guests for the seats. It was pretty awesome to sit in the front with the pilot and see all of the helicopter gadgets. The ride was so smooth, it was almost more enjoyable than flying in an airplane.

Even though the tour seems a little pricey for the short time spent in the air, it was an incredible experience that I recommend for everyone. Thanks for an incredible flight, Ingo!

Words can't express the beautiful time we had with Sundance Helicopters. The limousine picked us up right on time and drove us to the airport. We met our pilot who was very professional and friendly. The helicopter's accending was nice and smooth. The view from above is extremely breathtaking.

My husband & I were thoroughly happy with our Grand Canyon tour today. Sundance Helicopters offers a 1st rate tour. It was worth the money we paid. The canyon & all topography is spectacular, and our pilot, Raymond, was fun & informative.

The view is great, but after waiting for three hours in the blazing sun for 'your' helicopter, waiting for an hour with 45 degrees and no shadow on a boat trip of 10 minutes (would be half an hour), and then waiting another hour for the helicopter while people puke and faint because of the heat, you have little to enjoy about it. And then of course you have to pay a lot for it.
They don't work with an agenda, it's a mess; the person who has the largest mouth and pays extra, takes the lead. So you do not know if it is your turn at all. For the money that we spent that day alone, we could have spent three weeks on an island in the Mediterranean (for comparison). They did not contribute to the beautiful view of the Grand Canyon.

The flight was counter-clockwise around the strip. I was sitting in the right side and could see almost nothing. They should fly it up and down. Not in a circle. Also serving champagne in a plastic cup is not how this should be done.

My highlight was the drive in the limousine. :-(

We took the afternoon tour with Sundance Tours .
It was amazing. I get motion sick easy but this ride was smooth and I didn't even get queazy.
Brian was our pilot . Very professional and informative. Pay the little extra for the basket lunch and landing . Taking the afternoon tour we had the best of both tours . Seeing the sunset over the canyon and the lights of the Vegas strip.

It was an amazing trip, we had a great pilot & even better time. Thank you

Had a great time. Steating from pickup tour hotel our driver Davaine was great. His personality was amazing and he was the best host. He returned us after out tour to our room and was a very safe and courteous driver. Our pilot Rafael was extremely nice as well. Very knowledgable and a safe conscientious pilot. It was about windy in the Grand Canyon but the pilot handled the helicopter very well and took grest care of all passengers on board. I would highly recommend this company!!!!!

Captain Fred at Sundance Helicopters gave us an amazing morning with helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon with landing and champagne morning snack followed by flight over the strip. Round trip transporting from hotels in limos included.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our helicopter flight around Vegas but were unable to make our dinner reservations due to a delay with the limo driver. He arrived and told us he had to wait for more customers so that he could have a full car. We emailed the company regarding this issue and were accused of being in the lobby drinking champagne and they did not even offer an apology or anything. The cab driver told us to go in and wait or get more champagne until he was ready. This basically ruined the whole reputation for this company in my opinion and I wouldn t recommend going back. Don t do the dinner and flight unless you go super early and plan to wait around on other people.

Just took a tour of the new fleet of EC-130T2 helicopters at Sundance Helicopters who fly to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. First Class operation and highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!

Booked the limo pick up based on the fact that in all my life of living in the USA, a LIMO is a LIMO. There are shuttle buses and vans that may be luxuriously designed, but are not a LIMO. I received a text with a picture of a Mercedes Sprinter van as my "LIMO" pickup. That's not what I booked and when contacting them to rectify, they chose to point to their package description as having a "limo like" pickup... emphasizing the word "LIKE" so as to put blame on me for not realizing that meant they could send whatever they wanted to pick me up and call it a limo pickup. Like a fine print disclaimer to use when an average customer assumes LIMO means LIMO. They offered to send an actual LIMO for another $130 on top of what I already paid. I told them to either send the LIMO at no additional cost or cancel. They quickly agreed to cancel without dispute. That was cool, except then they told me my refund would take 3-5 business days to get back onto my account. I used a credit card. If I get a refund at a store, it appears immediately on my card. There is no reason for 3-5 business days. Now, 7 days later (5 business days) still no credit and upon inquiring was now told it would be 7-10 business days. Shady practice and nothing I can do to expedite it cause to chargeback with my card issuer would take longer. Was a great concept for a special event I had planned to get engaged while in flight, but they ruined that too. Just a bad experience.

The staff were all friendly, courteous and professional with safety as the number one priority. I will recommend this trip to friends and family.

Had the dinner at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It was a lot of fun and our pilot Odelie was wonderful and informative. Highly recommend sunset flight.

Wonderful staff, an unforgettable experience with them. Helicopters are well maintained and professional pilots. Al was our pilot, a wonderful young man, very well prepared, he gave us a lot of information, with a wonderful sense of humor. The transport from the hotel and back was provided with a limousine.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this experience. I was on hold a while to book but booked the same night as the flight and had no problems. The woman on the phone was super kind and helpful. We did the limo pickup with the night strip tour and it was amazing. Our pilot and was great and laughed a lot. They had music on the headphones while you weren't talking, so it was fun to see the night lights and rock out to "Viva Las Vegas" at the same time. The limo service there was excellent and the gentleman behind the desk was great. It was worth every single penny and my husband and I just can't stop talking about how fun our first helicopter ride was. Can't wait to do it again. I highly recommend this company. On our next trip, we will do a longer tour.

This is my second visiting grand canyon and my my first time visiting with Sundance. Best trip ever. I really enjoy it

First let me say that our pilot Andrew, the flight and grand canyon visit were sensational! Where Sundance fell short was the VIP service. We booked a morning champagne tour with Limousine pick up at our hotel. After confirming our hotel and reservation twice we were told to be outside at the front entrance of our hotel no later than 5:45am. Two phone calls later and at 6:25 our Limousine showed up. Here is where the VIP and class fell short. The driver told us he didnt know which hotel we were at. Upon entering the Limousine we were met by an empty bar. Not even a single bottle tle of water or juice which at that time of the morning in a strech limousine would be expected for the fees paid. We were however met by not 1 but 2 signs hanging over the empty bar reminding us to tip the driver. Perhaps Sundance should strive to polish their service if they are going to advertise high quality VIP excursions.
If anyone is 6ft tall or more be advised that you cant sit in the front of the helicopter. I sat in the back which has a limited view. My wife was in the rear middle sear and had no view. It was very difficult to take aerial photos from either position.
After reading other reviews, this seems to have been an issue with other people. It seems that Sundance should read these reviews and envoke change. It seems they have some customer service issues.

Incredible experience. We purchased the Grand Canyon champagne picnic with a flight over the Hoover Dam & Las Vegas strip. Our flight with Rafael (pilot) was beyond my expectations. ALL staff was professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They focused on making our experience truly magical. I was initially feeling worried because I'm overweight and wasn't sure how it would impact my experience. I felt very nervous. Everyone was SO courteous and warm. HIGHLY recommend this company if you are looking for a helicopter tour.

One of the best experiences we have had in Vegas! Right from the start of the day it was great. A limo collected us from our hotel and took us to the airport where we met our pilot and boarded the helicopter. The flight over Vegas and out towards the Grand Canyon was good as we also saw the Hoover Dam, the flight also has commentary providing info of the area and history, when we landed in the canyon we had a champagne breakfast and spent about 30 minutes there taking photos. On the return we flew down the strip. After landing a limo took us where ever on the strip we wanted to be dropped off at. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Vegas.

this review is 10 months late but deserved - lovely flight to the Grand Canyon on our wedding day, and even provided us with a free bottle of champagne. My brother has also used these guys and enjoyed the flight also. friendly pilot, all round great experience.

My First Time In A Helicopter And I Loved It Great All Around

Actual flight shorter than advertised 45 minutes. To enhance the Champaign toast Sundance should invest in plastic Champaign glasses with Sundance logo on for customers to have as a souverneir. When customers don't like picture that was taken before flight and customers showing interest in purchase, photographers should be willing to retake pics.

After checking out the most popular 5 helicopter tours in Las Vegas / Grand Canyon, I choose to take the family on Sundance last month.

Wow! What an amazing 1/2 day! Yes, it's not cheap - but think of this as a "bucket list" item. I was not only impressed with the organization and safety, but the pilot (aka: tour guide) was excellent. This is a critical piece of the tour.

Other companies didn't seem as personal or professional, although I'm sure they're fine. I was just impressed with the way Sundance handled everything: from their website, reservation process, limo pick-up, flight, etc. I recommend the tour with the stop at the Grand Canyon "Sky Walk".

Well, what I want to say, $ 80 would be justified if I saw at least something. As a safety measure, they had to put us on the right side to balance the balance of the helicopter, but they should write about it that if I am on the right side of the helicopter I will not see anything, they should because I pay money for it. Now, dear founders of this wonderful company, I want to tell you that you should change the price of seats and not the ticket itself. I was unsatisfied and without $ 80 dollars, it would be better to give this money to a shelter! I do not recommend this company, and I want others not to be left with bad emotions. that's what i saw

Great views but it is not A 30 min ride more like 10 min

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience flying with Ryan G. The flight itself was breathtaking. Although we had issues when setting up an appointment, and not hearing back on our confirmation until we called them hours prior; the overall experience was a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives .

I recommend a flight from Las Vegas will come cheaper and a 1.30h flight and a view of Las Vegas on the occasion of about $ 400 a person

From the moment we were picked up .Ben our limousine driver made us feel relaxed with a great sense of humour and friendly chat. The helicopter pilot was Patrick Boyle (aka) pat masterful pilot and again all round nice guy. Grand canyon was just amazing would not hesitate to book with Sundance helicopters again a great experience thank you

We ran into some weather issues when we were suppose to have our flight but we were able to reschedule. Then we got a call later to reschedule us again only this time we were gonna have to take a van for 2 hrs to the Hoover dam then fly to the canyon and back I wasn't really happy about it but got over it. The van ended up not showing up to pick us up so after about 40mins I called said I wanted a refund but they worked with the pilots and were able to get get us on a flight with our front seat upgrades. We went through hell a little bit because of the weather rescheduling but all in all it was an amazing experience and I for sure credit Sundance with amazing customer service they did everything they could and made it possible for me to propose to my girlfriend inside the Grand Canyon it was a wonderful experience our pilot was CJ he did an awesome job flying I couldn't be happier after everything was said and done thank you Sundance for showing me excellent customer service I would definitely recommend you and use you again myself!
