My salesman made the effort and took the time to talk with me to understand my needs and situation. He then worked hard to find the vehicle that worked for me. He stayed in touch with me frequently as he was working for me. When he located the vehicle, he had my financing all approved so that when I came into the dealership, my paperwork was ready for signing and the car was ready for me! They did a wonderful job!

Absolute worst car buying experience of my life. I had to follow up on everything that was promised at the sale. My car salesman ignores my texts. The sales manager says he will make it right but never does. When the rental car was returned to me after they took it for my underbody protection, I was told I needed to return it with the same amount of gas it had in it when they dropped it off, which I did. They, however, returned my car on empty, even though it had a half tank of gas when they took it. I have texted my salesman and heard nothing. I contacted Mike, the sales manager, who told me he would take of it by sending me a gas card and, still, weeks later, nothing. If I could give a zero review, I would. Trust me, all of my friends and family now know about the terrible service here. Steer clear of this place!

We bought a used 2008 GMC Envoy. We filled out the credit app online, the next day Ben Schmidt called us. We were looking at a Trailblazer. We requested,Ben to text us some more detailed photo's of the car and he took a lot of photos but the details we were looking for were lacking. I should of been more direct with my request.

We drove down there. It was 197 Miles or 3 hours. We meet with Ben. We looked at the Trailblazer, and decided it was not what we were looking for.
Ben took time to show us about 13 other Trailblazer they had on the lot. Then we found the one ! It was our 2008 GMC Envoy. While we were sitting at his desk,he bought us some Gatorade's, which was very thoughtful.
Ben then explained the title to the the Envoy was a ways out and he did not have an exact date. We put a deposit down and then Ben gave us a gas voucher for a full tank of gas from Shell station down the street.
Approximately two weeks later Ben called and checked in with no new news.
The following week on Tuesday, he called and said they got the title. It went in for inspection and received new front brakesand rotor's. We had requested new tires and a serpentine belt. Again they came in above here as well they also replaced a belt tensioner.
Sundace delivered our GMC on a Saturday afternoon,Dale was the delivery driver and he was very friendly. They were and hour late(road construction).
Our overall experience with Sundace Chevrolet thus far has been by far the best used car experience we have had! Our next car will definitely be a Sundace vehicle!

Highly recommend Ben Schmidt. I hope that is how you spell your last name .

Thank you Sundance Chevrolet, you guys and gals rock.

Darlene is the sweetest thing. I think we all know buying a new car can be a bit havoc with negotiating, find the features you want, and hoping the car you pick doesn t fall apart as you drive away. With Darlene, she was willing to go above and beyond to find what I was looking for. If you go to Sundance, work with her. She is genuine, has a hilarious personality, and someone you will resonate the memory buying your car with!

I mostly dealt with Shane. From my first phone conversation to driving off the lot, he was knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The other staff made a point to either say hi or smile or make sure I was being helped. Overall a good experience.

I knew Sundance was shady, but I bought a car that was checked out by my preferred, independent mechanic. Turns out that two of the tires had so little tread that they were barely street legal, and there was a broken sensor. After more negotiation than most people have patience for I got them to replace all of that and drove away with the car. (Took two visits, about four hours total of just negotation, not test driving or shopping, and a legitimate competitor offer from another dealership.)

A month later, my wiper breaks. Why? Because Sundance had GLUED THE WIPER ONTO THE WIPER ARM. There was a thick layer of glue where the wiper assembly attached to the wiper blade.

When I brought the car in, they wanted to charge $20 for the wiper and $25 in labor to repair it. I ended up doing it myself.

Shady people selling questionable cars.

Edit: I did attempt to contact Scott Linderleaf on 1/20/2018. Was told that he is not available on weekends. I also emailed him with my phone number. Will probably try to contact him again but at this point, we have a car and we've fixed the problem of which we are aware. Just hoping that we don't find any more patch jobs.

My experience at Sundance was great! We originally went in to inquire about vehicles we knew were out of our price range, just to see. Brent was very helpful and we went in at just the right time to find the vehicle we would end up buying. As soon as we decided on the vehicle, Brent made the whole boring paperwork process a breeze and painless. I would definitely recommend Brent Miller to help you find your next vehicle.

We had been searching for an Equinox to lease, and checked several dealerships in the area. Sundance had the most inventory options, by far.
We were very happy with the customer service, we returned a day later to sign the paperwork and take home my new Equinox.
In fact, we were so happy that we returned a week later and purchased a car for my husband. We worked with Tom Thias both times.
I can foresee us returning to Sundance for any future vehicle purchases and needs. They were extremely friendly, not pushy at all and worked with us on what we needed/wanted.

Test drive a blazer and the sales services was suppose to call once it was clean so I could come back. Got a call that someone else was testing it since I didn't give a deposit. No call after that to say I could come back or I'd it was sold and they a different suv. Back communication in my eyes.

I traveled up to Sundance from Kalamazoo and had a positive experience with helpful, friendly service from Troy. I was able to get the vehicle I was looking for and have it delivered to me once it was ready.

In my experience most dealerships selling used car...

In my experience most dealerships selling used cars are difficult to deal with, but this one is worse then average. Went in looking to spend about $5,000 on a reliable used car. I know that is towards the bottom of the market, so I wasn't expecting a mircale. Sundance had a large inventory in that range, and I had limited time, so I shopped there.

I test drove, or attempted to test drive about a half dozen cars. Most of the cars I tried didn't even get off the lot. They either had Check Engine lights on and/or ran so badly you didn't even need to get off the lot to know they were a problem. They do zero work inspecting the cars and weeding out the ones unfit to sell.

Finally settled on a car with known issues that they agreed to fix as part of the final purchase price. Took me two weeks of calling them daily to finally get them to do the promised repairs. Car was sold with a 30 day warrenty. Had issues right after I got it back with bad brakes and a bad electric window. Can't even get them to return my calls now.

Unless you really know cars and are sure of what you are buying I would stay away. Their word means nothing and they are going to be unreachable after the sale. Buyer beware with this outfit.

Bought a 2013 Jeep from them and was very excited to get into it and bring it home. We worked out some details about the Jeep that needed repairs and j was fine with that. The wheels needed to be painted because the previous owner put that fake stuff on it that was peeling off and looked terrible. I finally got the Jeep back and drove it for a week. Sitting at a stop light the check engine light came on and I thought that was very strange. Their drivers came to get the Jeep and to take it in to see why the light came on. They brought it back to the shop in Lansing and thankfully the private contractor who did the wheels came out to fix up the wheels. They looked amazing, by the way! Jeep comes back to me a few days later and I asked the driver how the drive was and he said it was a little loud. Didn t think much of it until I turned the Jeep on and the check engine light was still on and the Jeep sounded terrible. I immediately called the dealer and told them to turn their drivers around and to come take my Jeep back because this is unacceptable. Jeep goes back after the dealer claims it wasn t on when they left. The drivers didn t even stop to ask either if it should sound that way. A few days later the Jeep comes back and the engine light is STILL on. This time I finally took it to another dealer after chewing out the manger on the phone. The shop that I took it to said the fix literally took 5 minutes. A sensor was off. In conclusion, no professionals or trustworthy people care about you or your vehicle. They only care about the sale and their money.

I just purchased my 4th vehicle from Sundance Grand Ledge. My salesman was professional, helpful, and attentive to what I was looking for, however I was suppose to receive a check in the mail for 80/90 mile drove at $1/mile and never received it. When I attempted to contact him, he ignored me.

Man let me tell you my experience. I went in to look at a GMC Arcadia. Salesman said it was sold. Which was fine. He then calls and tells me there is a similar car and similar price. We go and look at it. Likes the car. We put a deposit down to have a hold. Financing was lined up and approved. I lined up insurance. Salesman said the keys needed to be cut so it would be ready on Friday. The car was on the lot. We were the first ones to look at it. We were there when the locksmith was programming the key. No way another person looked at it before us. I told the Salesman I needed to get to my Son's baseball game. He said that's fine he was taking the next day off and we can finish the deal Friday afternoon. I had a deposit down and I watched the salesman put a SOLD sign on the car. So Friday comes. I sell my current car to a co worker. I take the afternoon off of work. I walk in to Sundance at 12:00. The salesman looks at me and says he is sorry. There was a miscommunication and they sold the car. Huh. No one called me in the morning to tell me or the day before to tell me the mistake. The just let me come in and find out the bad news. Now I am without a car and pissed. The salesman was a good guy and he is trying to figure it out I guess. They tried to show me more cars after that point. None were similar. The car I was going to but had 30,000 miles on it. The other cars they showed me had over 100,000. Did I mention I am still carless. I then get mad and I vent and I tell the salesman and manager my frustration. I asked for my deposit back which they gave me. On the way out the door they gave me a free tank of gas. I guess that makes up for my hours I missed at work and for me selling my other car. Did I mention no one called me to tell me anything at before I walked in to Sundance on Friday afternoon........I will keep a update on how this story goes.

We bought a new car there. The sales staff is great. The service staff on the other hand, not so great. I brought my new car in for service (the heat adjuster stopped working). The first time in, they claimed it was done the following day. When I got there I was told they were getting heat so it was working again. I got in and started the car and found they hadn't even checked it. I brought the service counter person out to the car and SHOWED her the problem. They took the car back in. 2 days later when I came to pick it up they told me the adjuster cable was on "backwards" and they fixed it. On my way home I noticed a small dent in the console where they took it apart to fix it, and the adjuster cable disconnected from the knob AGAIN. I took it to Shaheen Chevrolet on American in Lansing. They looked at it, said the cable was defective, ordered a new cable and installed it PROPERLY the first time. I won't go back to Sundance again.

I am very disappointed with this dealership. Actually, I m embarrassed that we even have them in the state of Michigan. Steve is the reason I didn t purchase a vehicle today. Steve seen a weakness and tried ever so hard to take advantage of a single dad. He wouldn t help look for a vehicle in my price range and insisted that I buy much more expensive vehicle. He was shady about my trade in and still pushed a vehicle I would never want. I am a very word of mouth type of guy and my mouth has nothing good to say. Would NOT recommend.
Also Steve, don t ever disrespect my mom. Again Steve, I want you to know that I will be letting everyone know how bad of a person you are. Shame on you and shame on those who raised you. I will be going to another dealership.

We went into to weigh our options on trading in two vehicles for one. Alex was fantastic and patient, providing answers and giving us various options that fit our budgets and our wants. I left with a sharp vehicle that I didn t know I wanted until I saw it in person!

My wife and I just purchased a vehicle from Daniel...

My wife and I just purchased a vehicle from Daniel Ferreyra on Sunday, and had a rather lackluster experience. We couldn't finish the financing on Sunday and had to come back to finish it on Monday night after work. We were also supposed to have detailing, and paint and scuffs buffed out while we were finishing the financing on Monday, only to find out AFTER we had signed all the paperwork for ownership that the person who does the paintwork had already left for the day. My wife took a personal day from work and brought it back for the paint issues the next day (Tuesday). So in total, we were there for a total of 7.5 hours over Sunday and Monday and 1.5 hours on Tuesday for them to do virtually nothing but sell us a car with body defects. My wife said she got in the car after it was supposedly buffed and painted and it was still hot inside, and also was in the same exact spot where she saw him drive it to, to get this done. I called Daniel and told him nothing was fixed on it, and he had also said he took it for a test drive and plugged it in to test the transmission and get codes, which I had asked for in the morning prior to our appt. Don t see how he drove it with no AC on when it s 90 degrees outside. Lies...

We test drove two cars, and I constantly reiterated what I was looking for on a monthly price. Big mistake! When the price was too high per month on the first one, which I'm sure he knew because I gave him the dollar figure at least six times in a matter of 30 minutes, and therefore he already knew it was way out of our budget, he already had a second car a year older in the parking lot with paperwork already written up. Shady as Hell looking back at it now. We also did a trade-in and he mangled our license plate getting it off of our old car too, so it looks like s*** on the car we just purchased, which we are supposed to be happy about. Scratches, paint chipping, and a bent up license plate for the small total of $13,000. Having enough stress in my life already, this experience honestly made matters way worse. The best part was the plethora of drinks and snacks he had on hand and wouldn't stop offering to hide the lies and lack of keeping his word. Having worked in Sales for a long time, the guy obviously over booked his prospective customer base, and it showed in half-a**ing one customer to help the other, which is very greedy and extremely unprofessional, and as a result, created two p*ssed off individuals who will never EVEN PASS Sundance on our way to Grand Ledge EVER AGAIN.

Been shopping for a vechical. Heard about Sundance. Visited the website. Found the vehicle I had been looking for, and asked for more information. Received the information. Prepared to put 1/2 down. We drove 1 1/2 hours to test drive it. Only to be put on a 2 hour hold by the salesman and when asked for someone else to assist us, be told by other salespeople that they could not help us, due to commissions . Least to say we left and decided to go elsewhere

Came home one day to a truck that was pulling a camper on fire in front of my place. I asked the young family if they were ok, and they were, but the truck was a total loss. After talking with the father I found out they had just bought the truck a week ago from Sundance.
I myself have always been a little Leary of that place, but what I witnessed first hand solidified that I will never even consider stepping foot on their lot. Buyer beware, especially on used vehicles.

My mom has been going to Troy for years whenever it came down to getting a new car. After I had an accident that totaled my car, she assured me that Troy would do everything in his power to get me into a new vehicle and he did just that! He helped me get into a newer model vehicle and was able to secure lower monthly payments than I had before. Troy understood every aspect of my situation and made the best out of the circumstances. I HIGHLY recommend seeing Troy!

Alex Orta was my sales representative, and fantastic to do business with. Probably, without a doubt, the most professional auto sales rep I have ever dealt with. He had the cars I wanted to see ready when we arrived. He explained the features and answered every question. At no point did he try to "sell" a car. He was there to consult and assist. I would recommend him and Sundance to anybody looking for a fair, honest deal, and first class service. I will definately purchase from Alex again.

1st they gave me the run around from the beginning. We worked out a deal with finance company for my trade in and my payments. I spent two hours their working this out. When i go back to pick up the vehical. They decided they was not gonna honor that deal any more. Then i end up paying more a month. Then after all that they keep calling me back to sign more papers for the car. With the promise of giving me a gas card i have not recieved on yet. Then i got the gold care package from their service department. They was suppose to detail the car inside and out. They end up staining my seats white. When i took it back in so the could see they blew it off like no big deal and told me to bring it in a week later to see if they could fix it. This is a warning to everyone do not buy a vehical from sundance Chevrolet and defiantly do not let them service your car.
