Called there to get pre-approved never got call back went there the following Saturday spent all day had truck deal done waited two days for them to finish up deal got a call on following Monday to be told truck I wanted was sold out from under me guess I have to click at least one star beings there are no negative stars

I had a great experience, staff was very friendly and helpful. Chris Q hooked me up with a nice Buick. I let him know what I wanted and he found something in my price range. Any questions I had he did not hesitate to answer. I am hyper vigilant when it comes to car salesman and buying used cars. I didn t feel the need to be suspicious because of how open they were to questions. I definitely recommend Chris Q to hook anyone up with a nice used car. Very patient and kind. Thank you!

This dealership does not have the cars they post online on the lots at all. I saw a Jeep Liberty listed online in my budget range so I filled out the information needed to enquire about the vehicle. I was emailed a short time later from Tim Egan informing me that the Jeep was in fact in stock. I informed Tim that I would be in the next morning to look at the Jeep.
After arriving at the lot I was ignored by several staff members, was not approached or asked if I needed help. It was an hour only after they opened and they had no other customers. After finally getting help from Chris (very helpful) we went to his desk and began to look up the Jeep I inquired about. Chris then informed me that the Jeep I was looking at was gone and was being sold at auction. This Jeep was placed on the website less than 24 hours prior and was now gone? hmmm....shady. All the other used cars on the lot were way over priced for their condition and were in major disrepair. This dealership lives off of financing. If you are looking to pay in cash and wanting to see any car on the website that is priced very well and is in great shape....well you are about to be disappointed. Don't waste your time with this cowboy wannabe.

Great people worked with my family for over three ...

Great people worked with my family for over three weeks trying to buy a used vehicle from them. Friendly sales staff. I was able to text the salesman almost everyday and was responded within a day if not the day of. I felt like I was family with the salesman with how much information he was giving my wife and I on the vehicle and what the processes were to trade in a vehicle we owned as a down payment.

My husband and I worked with George Berry today and found the perfect car together. George was by far our best experience when buying a vehicle. He listened to ours needs, wants and most importantly he didn't pressure us to provide him with a "certain" price in mind although he knew we came with a pre-approval. Buying a car for my girlfriend was a long process, but we never felt pressure of any kind, the patience of JOSH RICE was amazing, not only he provide many options, but he also knew lots about the cars he showed us, making the process of choosing between alike cars smoother.

Our salesman, Steve was very professional and informative. He helped us select the packages we wanted and answered all our questions.
He kept us informed about the status of our order and delivery.
Another team member was very helpful by explaining the various controls and systems in the car.
We are very happy with our new 2021 Camaro.

Have had the vehicle for only two weeks and we are already having to pay to get it fixed. The salesman failed to mention, as he was sitting in the backseat, that the vents were blowing out freezing cold air, however our six year old knew right away that it wasn't right. The customer service is sub par and you might as well add on more days than what they say they are going to do.

Be extremely careful if you're buying a used car from Sundance, you may want to have it inspected. We bought a truck a month ago and used it almost exclusively on the highway. As it turns out, they sold us an unsafe vehicle, we lost braking power. When the vehicle was taken back to Sundance, they blamed us for the damage instead of the shoddy repair work they put in before the vehicle was put up for sale.
Don't put your kids in a car from Sundance.

Don't buy a car from this place. What a joke. Called the sales manager 6x and left a message and never heard a response one time when I had an issue with the car I just bought. They wanted me to pay for it even though I bought the car less than a week prior. Wouldn't recommend them for a used car. Had a good experience before but the last one was the last after that stuff happened. I will be going to a different dealer the next time I need a car.

The actual sale process went fine for my car. I was given a "we owe you" slip for a few items that needed to be taken care of. I dropped my car off for a day, picked it up, the items had not been fixed. My husband and I attempted for a couple weeks to work with the salesperson and his supervisor to get this taken care of, they never returned our calls/emails. My husband had to go there in person and confront them in order to get staff to set up the fix. My car was picked up this morning and I was promised it would return by 3pm (I leave work at 4pm). At 3:30, no car, no phone calls answered. When I called reception, the woman told me she probably couldn't find someone to help me find my car. That was super helpful (insert eye roll). Needless to say, I'm just stuck at work until my car magically arrives on it's own apparently. I strongly encourage anyone buying to not finish the sale process until all issues are taken care of.

I AM TERMINALLY ILL, I NEEDED HELP GETTING A VEHICLE. WAS TOLD SUNDANCE WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS. THIS IS BS. THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. MY CREDIT IS RUINED DUE TO MY MEDICAL BILLS OWED FOR MY CHEMO AND RADIATION AND NUMEROUS SURGERIES.

I NEEDED THIS VEHICLE TO GET ME TO AND FROM MY APPOINTMENTS. SO I COULD SURVIVE CANCER. I HAVE NOW MISSED A MONTH WORTH OF APPOINTMENTS BECAUSE I HAVE NO CAR/VAN. I ALSO HAVE PARKINSON'S AND USE A WHEEL CHAIR.

What to say about sundance chevrolet..... hmmm whe...

What to say about sundance chevrolet..... hmmm where to start. how about for starters when i call up there to talk about a vehicle and no one there knows nothing about if it has sold is even there or any details what so ever about it. Then the salesman calls me back and says oh yes i found it and its ready to go come take a look so i drive 70 miles to get to the dealer only to find out that the truck is not ready to look at.It has not even been through the shop yet the inside was filthy the front bumper was smashed in and nothing had been done to the vehicle.

They said they would rush it through the shop for me get it done right away and hold it for me so that i can comeback and take a look at it again to see if i like it. They had the truck in the shop for a week and kept telling me the truck will be done on Thursday it will be done Thursday so i drive up there calling right before i left and guess what... The truck was not done go figure. it had not been through the detail shop and somewhere between here and there the window shades on the drivers side were missing and i had to wait around 2 hours with my wife and 2 year old for them to finish the truck. The truck was supposed to have a bed liner installed (which i was gonna pay for out of pocket) and it did not have it in. the truck was still filthy but i drove over an hour to get there so it was not worth my time to drive up there again over this detail so i said screw it and had my buddy detail it for me and now it looks and smells great. a little plug for his shop its called shine bright and is in portage michigan.

but ohhhh it didnt stop there we agreed on a sales price on the new truck which i was happy with and we ball parked a price on my truck on trade and after i got my truck to them all the sudden they insult me with a super low ball price of 3500$ under what they originally quoted me. I got up and started to walk towards the door until they stopped me and we talked it out got the trade in value on the truck to where they originally had said but it didnt stop there.

While signing all the paperwork me and the wife noticed they were gonna try and screw me out of 750$ they lowered the trade in value AGAIN on my truck on the paper work and when i brought it up to the salesman he said ohh no we didnt do that we lowered the price of the new truck to save you on taxes. hey sounds good to me but the problem was is that they didnt lower the price of the truck i was purchasing they kept it the same and were hoping i was not gonna notice the 750$ difference on the paperwork.

It didnt stop there. 2 days after i drove the truck home my drivers door module went out and so did the body control module. 2 GM certified techs told me it was because the fuse panel had corrosion on all the relays and fuses and it causes a voltage spike which shorted out the modules. so i took it back to sundance to have them take a look and tell me there opinion in which there reply was there is no corrosion or anything abnormal in the fuse panel which is total bullsh#$ if you take the cover off you can clearly see greened out fuses and relays. Needless to say i hate sundance i will never deal with them again and I will never recommend them to anyone ever in my life.

I purchased a car from them on 1/1/15. It was a new trade in so they hadn't really cleaned it and they couldn't find the title but allowed me to take the car anyway, said they would mail the title.
I returned that weekend for the scheduled "cleaning". They did nothing more than run a quick vacuum over it and spray it down with water. The previous owner had dogs and the car was still covered in dog hair and had an animal smell. The cleaners also threw away all of my personal affects in the car at the time of cleaning, approx. $60 worth. I was offered no compensation.
And here we are, into mid-April, and I still haven't received my title.

I dislike their radio ads and had heard horror stories about Sundance. And now the stories make sense.

I was in the market for a limited budget vehicle and Ryan Navin went above and beyond to answer all of my concerns with buying a used car and make sure I was comfortable with my purchase. I have always leased new cars before, and was surprised at the time and attention Ryan gave me. He respected my budget and was able to present me exactly what I needed, no more or less. This was my first time buying from Sundance and I was thrilled with their professionalism. I will highly recommend them to friends and family. I feel I got a great deal and working with Ryan and Sundance was a value added experience!

My wife and young son went to Sundance Chevrolet to purchase a used car. Everybody we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, particularly Colt Hanks, the sales representative. The car I wanted to test drive was unfortunately in the process of being purchased by somebody else, but Mr. Hanks found the same model a year newer for a similar price, which we drove and purchased.

My only complaint with this dealership is there were so many cars in the used car lot, that we had trouble finding a place to park. Additionally it was difficult in spots to navigate the lot due to the limited space between the parked cars.

Overall we had a very positive experience with Sundance Chevrolet.

I recently bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler from Sundance and I am less than satisfied. The salesman I dealt with was extremely pushy and tried too hard to sell the product. Rather than being straightforward when asking him a question, his responses were nothing but glorified sales pitches, and if things weren't going his way, he appeared frustrated and began to stammer around more sales pitches. The finance department, though actually respectful, tried the same sort of sales pitch while trying to sell me an extended warranty. I get they need to sell vehicles and meet quotas, but lay off the overly aggressive sales pitches and just speak about the car's abilities.

An hour after driving off the lot, I started hearing a squeak from under the vehicle when turning. When I called the dealership to inform them, they initially seemed apathetic, but then said they'd take a look at the issue.

The front passenger door also does not unluck from the outside. Of course, I could have checked that before making the purchase, but considering the Jeep was in service that same day -- presumably to ready it for my purchase -- checking if all locks worked was the furthest thing from my mind.

I will not recommend Sundance to friends and family. In fact, in the two days since I purchased the Jeep, I've heard similar storied of their overly aggressive salesmanship.

I could not be more disappointed...or outraged. 30 days ago, I purchased a used car from this dealership. Today, it stopped running :) and today, the warranty ran out - a warranty I was given no paperwork for and that was denied by the salesman (Jeff Chaffe)'s manager as even existent. "30 days or 3000 miles, we'll fix anything that goes wrong." RIGHT. I've had a number of issues with the car since I took it off the lot. First, all four tires were terrible and needed replacing. After arguing for days, I convinced the dealership to pay for the tires. They wanted me to drive the 150 miles on bad tires to have them replaced by them specifically, and finally, after much difficulty, agreed to finance replacement in my hometown. Come to find out, the rims are bent. Jeff began ignoring all of our texts and phone calls when things started going downhill. I spoke with his manager (name unknown, or I'd drop it) and he was extremely unprofessional, rude, and borderline sociopathic. He made a huge deal about how he'd already replaced the tires and wasn't remotely willing to replace the rims, and told me "I don't know WHAT you heard, but there's NOT a warranty" in the most condescending tone. Luckily, the car is still under manufacturer warranty, and I will not have to barter and lose my mind trying to reason with these horrific salespeople ever again. Don't go here; these evil people will rip you off and don't deserve a single penny or good word. I now have a $10,000 deficit and a lemon sitting in my driveway. Thanks, Sundance!

Your service department staff were extremely helpful and friendly... I especially enjoy visiting with your courtesy van driver on the way to and from my place of employment, while my car was in for repairs. I certainly will recommend to others of the great service I received from your dealership.

I was overwhelmed by the salesman, I am 74 and purchased my share of vehicles over the years. My salesman was so very patient with me, I am handicapped and require a little time to get around. He was so patient and thorough with the entire process. The best purchase experience of my lifetime.
I highly recommend Sundance. I drove 65 miles to get this kind of treatment. Ryan is the guy..

I would give this dealer a negative number of stars of it were possible. They sold us an unsafe jeep. I'm no A.S.E certified mechanic. Here are some of the things that I didn't think I would need to check for while test driving a car that was on there lot for sale but are huge safety issues. Bad stabilizer linkage all tires 10 to 12 p.s.I below recommended pressure. Missing lugnut,and the worst no brake lights please if you purchase a car from them have THEM pay a mechanic of your choice to have your car gone over

First response misplaced or lost my information second response email me the photos 3rd response contacted general manager of the body shop still to this day no response..Still a month and a half later still no response... Went with my son because he was in need of a used car. He found a car he liked but it did not have cruise or remote start. The salesman told him since it was a 2010 he could have factory or aftermarket installed. The salesman gave him an estimate for aftermarket installation. My son told the salesman he did not want aftermarket so the salesman checked with his manager and came back out telling us it would be $100-$150 more for factory. We were told we would get it installed at cost. So he purchased the car and left. The next day when we called to get the exact price and schedule the installation we were told the price of aftermarket products and factory could not be installed. I called several other dealers and confirmed that aftermarket was our only choice. In addition contacted several aftermarket dealers and found their installation cheaper. My son wanted to return the car and was basically told tough sh..... The salesman told my son he could talk to his manager so my son called the manager several times and the manger has yet to return his call. Buyers beware!!! This place to tell you anything just to get a sale. We were lied to and they fraudulently sold my son this car under false pretense. Then we were lied to about the cost of the aftermarket installation being at a cost price. In addition the car he bought was the only car of 6 that he looked at that appeared to have all the parts on it. Some cars had engine parts missing, sun visors missing, tire jacks missing and other interior parts missing. In 55 years of buying new and used cars this was the worst place and experience I have witnessed.

After 4 days and 4 trips out to the lot to pick up a car for an overnight test drive, agreed to by 5--maybe 6 different salesmen and managers, I got a text as my first communication saying they were going to report the car stolen before it had been a day. Apparently used 4 cylinder cars are prime targets, though they would seem like bad getaway cars. Sucks for them though--I love that car, so now I just have to find it at a different lot!

I was looking for a manual shift Cruz. Jack was able to find one in less than 24 hours for me. Mileage was under average and the car was in great shape. Unable to get away from the office, Jack brought the vehicle to me for a quick test drive. Everything went well. Jack got the financing set up and made this as turn-key as one could get. I took delivery and am anxiously awaiting my appointment to put the Gold Shield package on the car.

Jay was great in getting all the warranty options available to me explained in a way even I could understand.

Overall, a great way to buy a vehicle.

Went in to find a vehicle for work a week and a half ago and had problems getting financed but met with Terry Hank and he offered to in-house finance me so i was stoked, but eventually got financed by a bank,i remember him saying to the dealer to make sure the vehicle is in good shape with no issues before i take it. I drive home n saw a little oil spot i figured it was from a different vehicle but as i drove it to work i realized it was from my vehicle. The dip stick was empty and ive been putting a quart of oil every day and now i just dont drive it, the dealer tried to say they won't let anyone drive off the lot with anything wrong with the car. I told him thats was bs. They didn't do what was told to the vehicle before i took it. So now im trying to figure out my next move. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there if your looking for a vehicle cause obviously they lie and don't work on them.

Why NO ZERO here for review. I would not recommend purchasing a used car from Sundance for anyone. I brought the car Chevy Impala 2009 last year from my friend who purchased this car here in Apr 2017. Based on the report which from a third party company named EXPERIAN Sundance choose to use shown no accidents and only 1 former owner. I provided Carfax report which other person suggest me to quote to Sundance showing up clearly that this car had 2 accidents (which one was happened in 2009 another was happened in 2011 and 9 former owners. I even can found the photograph of the second accident of this car on google. These are all clearly showing up on the report from CARFAX. Remember EXPERIAN the company Sundance use to provide vehicle history report telled everything totally nonsense. Even on the day I try to figure out what actually happened two years ago, at Sundance's office, on their computer, the instant report still showing that only 2 owner in the whole history of the car. Even their manager was unable to defend that dishonest record. One year ago on Apr 2018, their report said there are 2 owners on history list, and one year later, after my friend sold the car to me, there still only 2 owners. Nothing changed on that. Just based on this ridiculous report, Sundance strongly announced they have zero responsibility on that deal. Only maybe EXPERIAN did the wrong things, what they did was just based on that nice, clean, beautiful report and sold their car. The price is amazing high based on that EXPERIAN report. Chevy Impala LS 2009 which made in Canada not US was sold to my friend on price $9300 which odometer is around 40000 miles. We all not native here. That's the worst experience in my whole US time. I will never ever suggest any of my friend and family try to find a used car through Sundance. Both me and my friend are not professional enough to figure out all details of a used car only by ourselves, especially we are foreigners, there are nothing guarantee our customer rights here, no guarantee for dealer to tell the truth. Finally the manager yelled to me at his office:" The car was sold out 2 years ago, we have no responsibility on this car. leave away from here." The following is for Sundance's reply. Your reply also do not tell the truth again, without any serious re-check on the whole things the two accidents was happened a long time ago 2009 and 2011 in Canada not US, definitely nothing new accident happened in 2018. In your company today, even your staff used your own device to check the history from Carfax which was totally marched what I purchased from Carfax, 2 accidents, 10 owners.

Dan Kikendall- Was (is) my salesperson when I went to Sundance for the first time. He was GREAT! I told him what I was looking for and when I saw a truck I could probably live with he said to hold out, if I bought it I wouldn't be happy and to wait for the truck I actually would like everytime I drove it. He was honest with me and even though we couldn't get the bank to finance the truck (because of the debt I owe on my trade in) I would totally ask for him when I am ready to purchase a new or used vehicle. He didn't pressure me on anything except he did pressure me to keep my standards and not settle even if I didn't buy a car from him that day. When I do buy, I WILL buy from him. I would recomend you request and see Dan Kikendall when you go to Sundance.

Went here a month ago to look at a vehicle. When I get there someone asks if they can help me. I tell them the vehicle that I saw online. At that point he has someone go look for it . Then proceeds to get a golf cart and show me a bunch of vehicles I had already said I was not interested in. At last we pull back to where we had started and low and behold there is the vehicle. Then he proceeded to tell me someone already has money on it but his boss he was sure could do something if I wanted to by it today. Then the test drive which I have to take with this sales guy . Who for some reason he keeps talking to me like he thinks he is my das( I am in my 40s).Telling me to pull in to there other parking lot making me drive over pot holes telling me everything sounds good. Well I could have made these decisions my self if he would have shut his mouth so I could hear the vehicle. At the end he was wanting me to put money down to hold this sold vehicle. Absolutely the worst dealership in the area. They advertise free loaner cars if you use their body shop and they work with you on the deductible. They told me the body repairs to my truck would only take 3 days. They have now had my truck for 2 months, after the first week of my vehicle being there I asked for a loaner car they said they call me back, and never did. I called once a week for the past two months asking for a loaner car and they just continue telling me the same thing "we will call you back". But they never do. So today I called again, after they told me my vehicle will be done on Friday, and they explained to me that they forgot to order a part to repair the vehicle. I wouldn't give them one star.

I do not recommend this business for any family or friends. Can't believe they advertise free loaner cars and they've had my truck for 2 months and I never received a loaner car after calling and asking multiple times!!!!!

You hear them advertised if we don't earn your business we don't deserve it anyways. Well they definitely did not earn it and they definitely don't deserve it. So please read this review and take your business elsewhere save yourself a headache!!!!

The dealer did not make us feel welcome or like our potential purchase was important to them. The person we met with had a certain demeanor that I can only describe as "shady", and it was clear to us that he was trying to swindle us out of quite a bit of money (we had printed out comps of the car we intended to trade in for a new one, had done extensive research on the make, model, and value of the cars we were considering buying, etc.). We ended up going through a different dealership to buy our car. While Sundance does have a large selection of vehicles, I definitely would not recommend them due to the service (including the blatant lies about the quality and value of the cars) that we received.

After my experiences with Sundance, both Grand Ledge and St. Johns, I will offer the following opinions:
1) Go somewhere else to buy. If you don't, most likely you will wish you had. But, if you HAVE to go there:
2) DO NOT believe anything their salesperson tells you. Their job is to sell you a car and that's it.
3) Watch out for all their add-ons like Gap Insurance, their useless warranty, etc. that they try to make sound like you have to have in order to get financed. You don't. My $5,995 sticker price car wound up costing me over $10K by the time it was all said and done.
4) IF they will let you, which I doubt, take the vehicle to a COMPETENT mechanic, and have it thorougly inspected.
5) DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, take your vehicle there for service or repair work. Their service departments at BOTH dealers are the most incompetent I've ever seen in 26 years of driving. I wouldn't trust them to change a light bulb and install it properly.
The only good thing I can say about them is that I learned MANY lessons about how NOT to go about buying a used car. Their service, the way they treated me after the purchase, and the car itself were all so bad that not only will I NEVER buy from Sundance again, I will NEVER even consider buying another GM car. This was my first experience purchasing from an actual GM dealer, and it completely soured me on GM products.
Way to go Sundance!!!!! You suck, and your dealerships are every bit as cheesy as your ads!!!!!!

We went to their used car lot off of Saginaw highway. Their vehicles are WAY overpriced for the years and mileage. We were originally looking for a truck but couldn't find anything within our price range under 200k so we went home and decided to look online for an SUV or crossover. We still couldn't find anything decent with a lower amount of miles for a reasonable price.
We wound up going to a different local dealer and getting a 9yr old SUV for around $5k with under 130,000 miles which was pretty on par with KBB. Do your own research and find an actual deal elsewhere.

Overall our sales men was very helpful and patient...

Overall our sales men was very helpful and patient. After making the purchase of our new vehicle there were some repairs that we said had to be included in the deal. We went over a month without out new car. Sundance did keep us in loaner vehicles the whole time which was appreciated but we bout a fuel efficient car and they had us in v8 trucks. When we got out car back we got a call from our insurance company about a claim that we had damaged their truck. Sundance did not try and contact us first just went straight to our insurance.

Overall lack of communication and bad practices made this a poor experience. We love our car except for shooty exhaust repairs, to fix the exhaust leak they cut out a bad piece of the exhaust system and just welded it together instead of adding new pipe so it looks terrible.

Buyer be warned they will make minimum repairs and try and screw you. I would avoid this dealership.

I look at a lot of their cars on line but they don't offer a free carfax report. All the other area dealers I shop on do offer a free report. This alone makes me not even want to visit their lot. I am shopping elsewhere.

My Fiancee and I were looking for a new car for her after she had totaled hers. We went to Sundance from a recommendation from a friend. Justin Perez was the salesman we worked with and he was with us from Start to finish of the sale. He answered all of our questions and he was very professional throughout the sales process. We highly recommend working with him. He even came in on his day off to finish the sale because of our work schedules.

The sales people were really friendly and knowledg...

The sales people were really friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything about my vehicle, worked quickly in finishing my deal so that I was able to take my new vehicle home as soon as possible. This is my second car I've bought through Sundance and am sure to continue with them for future purchases! Thank you!! So in love with my 2016 Chevy Cruze! Thank you Trish Burmer for all your help!

Sales people were friendly. Purchased used vehicle from them, with oil changed by there service department. Upon attempting to change the oil for the first oil change since purchasing, found oil cap is not original, and the wrong oil filter was installed. The oil filter was on so tight, had to destroy it trying to remove!! Unsure of the service departments reasons for placing wrong filter on it without lubricating the oil gasket! Won't be going back for any service....I don't trust them!! Overall not a good feeling for the purchase of a three year old vehicle! Not happy/satisfied.

my dad and I purchased a 2010 malibu. within a week the check engine light came on breaks started grinding and the whole front end is all messed up. I made an appt for a shuttle for 7am for them to look at it. I got there at 6:50 after all the check in process the shuttle left without me. I was an hour and a half late for work only to find out I needed $2200 in repairs that sundance was not willing to help with after having the car FOR NOT EVEN A WEEK to then turn around and have it come back on and to take it to a repair shop to tell me it needed $860 repairs on top of the $2200. Paid $8,000 for a car that needed over $3,000 in repairs but "had nothing wrong with it". will never buy another vehicle from Sundance.
