Great ski in ski out. Rooms are a bit dated, and small but comfortable.
Great ski in ski out. Rooms are a bit dated, and small but comfortable.
Went for the riding and had an absolute blast. Fun technical and jump trails. The trails are generally harder than other mountains.
A fun weekend, would have been 5 stars except for 2 items: 1. They needed snow, this is out of their control; 2. We found their food prices much higher than other mountains. Going to give them a second try next season. Look forward to hopefully making this a 5 star review.
Had lunch and disappointed there was no Nachos. They used to have amazing ones. The Cod wrap was good and also staff. $5. Beer was great price.
An incredible community with so much to see and do, both winter and summer. It like a mini whistler/Banff with lots of hiking trails, restaurants and shops. So nice to have this so close to Kamloops.
Great hill. Short lift lines always!!!, free parking, foods decent nothing amazing, lots of terrain
So few lineups, such dry, light snow. Friendly staff. Best ski hill in BC.
Awesome mountain biking in the summer (better than whistler in my opinion, if you like old skool knarly trails and challenging downhill)
Superb skiing in the winter too.
The village setup is great with everything you need for a short or extended stay up the mountains.
Great family environment. Great skiing. The Sun Peaks Grand Hotel is awesome.
Visited in the off season between summer and winter, very quiet. Some staff around doing cleanup and getting things ready for winter, very professional.
Went in the summer lovely. Looks like a ski village even in summer
Great resort . But you shouldn't go there .
Leave the fresh snow for the locals .
And stay home ! Don't bring the covid here!
Thanks.
This is a great place. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON WHISTLER!!!! This is the best ski resort in bc. The people are friendly, the town is cozy, AND THE LINES ARE SHORT!!!!!
This resort is one of the best in the area. We stayed there for two weeks and the service was immaculate. This resort redefines the term ski in ski out, with it's great location and accessibility. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning on staying in Canada.
A hidden gem. No lineups at lifts. Great snow. Beautiful village. You cant go wrong here.
Awesome skiing, everyone here says it's in the top 5 worldwide
Great green runs for beginners, a decent price for a pass and clear maps and digital guidance regarding what's open on the mountains. It's not overcrowded making it a pleasant experience for all and a great place to build confidence for those starting out as well as more challenging runs for the experienced.
Awesome awesome! Love their ski free the day of if you fly in via WestJet
Hidden Secret in the Mountains for a family fun in Summer.
The scenery is gorgeous and the air smells clean. The food options are varied and excellent.
We love the magical atmosphere of this Village. The snow is fluffy, shopping in the cute stores, warm drinks, cold bevy and incredible food from pizza to burgers! We have rented houses, townhouse, condos and stayed at the Lodge. 100%
Had a great day snowboarding. Parking was good. Lineups were efficiently run. Bottoms was excellent. My only struggle is the ever increasing cost of a lift ticket. $105 is pretty steep. I wish there was a local rate. I used to snowboard 5 or 6 times a year. Now I only go once or twice because the cost is quite prohibitive.
My personal favorite ski resort. Top tier ski instructors, fantastic terrain for skiers of all skill levels, and great restaurants. Definitely worth checking out for any skier.
Great place for a family ski day or hiking during the summer. Nice village with a few restaurants.
Great skiing. Tons of terrain. Decent park. Definitely more of an intermediate family type mountain, but lots of great trees and black diamonds.
Great place. Pricy, but excellent snow and big terrain helps.
LOVE!!! It's a miniature version of Whistler. Very family friendly. Carpet Ride for kids on a small slope. (Not sure if ticket is even needed for the carpet Ride... )
Beautiful scenery. Good for people into taking photos and relax.
Great place, excellent staff, beautiful scenery and architecture
Great for Ski vacation, very family friendly, short lines, great runs for all ability levels, with ski-out from hotel or vacation home. Small town center is specially great for families with little kids who are tired from ski or snowboarding, with short walks to everything. Bars, restaurants and cafes all have great food and drinks caters to all cuisines. love this place.. looking for farward to going back in summer.
Awesome resort with room for everyone. All seasons!
Alpine flowers were lovely and so very scenic riding the Chairlift! Bring bug repellent so that you can fully enjoy the day.
This place is really nice and is a very comfortable place to stay with friends or family. All rooms I have ever been in at this hotel all come with a TV nice beds and nice bathrooms. This place has recently updated and the rooms are revamped and look nice and updated. I would strongly recommend this place for a friend for nice stays or trips.
The downhill go karting is hard to get used to but very fun!
Got here with loads of fresh powder and excellent weather for a great 3 days of snowboarding.
Plenty of airbnb in the area (ours was straight on the runs, near Burfield chair), so ski in and out was awesome. There is plenty of runs for every level and the village is awesome.
No queues at the lift, great snow, every time we took anything more difficult than a blue run we found NOBODY on it. Felt like having the whole place for ourself, was so awesome. I am never gonna ski in the local Vancouver mountains again, I'll come back here instead :D
Fantastic resort and terrain. Sadly, they are normally plagued with a very low snowpack, although this season was incredible!
Lovely place. Friendly locals, great array of restaurants and lodges.
I believe it is the BEST ski hill in Canada. Season passes every year!
Really big resort, so many runs lots of accommodation and dining options
Had a great time there hiking and mountain biking. Accommodations were great. Restaurants we're fabulous
We had four days of great skiing!!! We took advantage of their Snow Hosts the first day to familiarize ourselves with the mountain. Highly recommend you use this free service!
Recommend you bring your own food. Besides Mountain High Pizza and Powder Hounds resteraunts are mediocre. Also there is no real grocery store or gas station, so go prepared. Otherwise the resort could do with a source up. Doesn't look like anything has been renovated since the 90s and it's looking run down. Especially around the lifts.
Been coming here for 20 years...wonderful place, Whistler at half the price and never crowded
Favourite mountain in the world. Highly recommended
Best ski resort in BC. Whistler is way too expensive and often complicated by snow destroying RAIN. The only reservation I have is that there is no official shuttle bus from Vancouver / Kelowna to Sun Peaks. We had dis-TASEFUL experienceS with one of the transport company.
Hands down my favourite ski resort. Not nearly as busy or expensive as Whistler. Tons of great runs. If you steer clear from main green runs you can find really quiet areas with low traffic.
Snow was great even though it was the end of the season!
Beautiful! It was SO pretty, lots of snow. Great for skiing and snowboarding! Lots of great restaurants too! Would definitely recommend
Fantastic mountain. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. So unique to have daily free guides to take you all over the mountain! Resort is just the right size. Shame it's a bit hard to get to!
Nobody is here but the mountain is so big and the village is very friendly, snow is great
Food was expensive but good. Facilities were very nice.
Beautiful hidden gem. Plan on going back in the winter months
Beautiful location,food selection needs improvement
My daughter has so much fun at the ski lesson program. This is her first year. The instructor, Morgan, is great with the little ones. Positive experience all around. I like the way they have instructors helping each other out and volunteers available to support them as well.
