It's Sun peaks...Of course it's getting five stars.

A favorite spot to get away. This resort is active all year long.

This is a great alternative to Whistler. It is much less busy which means very short chairlift lines, however it also means that the village was not very busy and lacked energy. We have 2 kids and this mountain was fantastic for us. We will absolutely be back!

Amazing view of the mountain, fast access to lift and village.

Rooms are comfortable and roomy, village is absolutely joyful and happy place, as well as many shops, great runs, and beautiful views! The Sun Peaks Steakhouse and lodge is a must try!

Best winter resort in BC! Not insanely busy, great snow conditions. Every terrain for every ability.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The premises are incredibly clean and the ski lift is a must for a gorgeous view.

Stunning resort. Well developed. Runs for everyone. Good compact powder, almost always sunny.

Excellent ski hill. 3 mountains. Abundance of trails and variety. Not crowded on the slopes at all. The base and rental area can get really busy and crowded, but the slopes are awesome. Lots of snow every time I have been here

This place is exceptional. Great service in every area. Condo was beautiful. So many shops and things to do for all ages. Was so pleasantly surprised to shop as prices were so reasonable . We will be coming back at least once a year to enjoy some great vacay time with friends and family. Highly recommend sun peak grand resort before whistler resort hands down!!!

Great family friendly ski resort - we went second week in December and no crowds, no wait for lifts and my kids had 1:1 instructors in ski school

I have always had a amazing time skiing here and on a clear day the views are amazing. And after a day of skiing the village has everything you could want and need.

Beautiful resort. We went in the Summer and things were still well kept up even during the more off season.

Sun Peaks is one of the most charming ski resorts in BC. Family oriented, with excellent ski conditions makes this resort my favorite. I just wish it had better options for dinning. Don't miss the Mountain High Pizza. Its the best for a quick bite in between runs.

I call it unWhistler. Love it here. Been coming here over 30 years.

The guy on the trampoline (his name is Guy) made my kids day today! He could end up bored with a job like that but he makes sure every kid that come to jump has the time of their lives!

Fantastic if you like sleeping with BED BUGS keep away from here as when we complained to reception they were not bothered will not be going back for sure.

Great skiing , easy to get to , terrain for every skill level

It's a good resort with a nice array of runs, quality snow and friendly staff throughout. However, they desperately need to upgrade the Burfield lift. At the moment it's a very slow lift which takes 22 long minutes to ride. This means that the useable area of the resort is reduced by a quarter because you don't wanna take that lift twice. Investment is needed for it to be a top-class resort.

Beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpful folks working there. Facilities cautiously but effectively coming online around COVID. Including live music events. Very courageous! Special thanks to the Cahilty Contessas and their warm hospitality. Seems some of them live in the area as well as work there. One feels like they're not only serving you a meal: they're sincerely welcoming you to their home which they're justly proud of. Take a bow, ladies!

Great place in summer for hiking, stand up paddling, fishing and mountain biking. Great routes. Several levels of difficulty. Day pass for the chairlift okay. Bear watching included :) Still quiet in summer. Pure relaxation. A good alternative to Whistler Mountain in winter if you are not really into mass tourism. Nice restaurants with good food.

Rooms where very clean and nice, all had new TV's and 4k cable

A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN, GREAT FAMILY PLACE WITH TONS TO DO!

Fine sober hotel, a little dated but clean. The room we had was equipped with a full kitchen, clearly focused on the winter season. Hotel is at the beginning of a commercial strip. Nice base in the summer for golfing, cycling or walking.

We're so incredibly happy we had Sun Peaks on our itinerary from Jasper to Osoyoos - some of the best coffee/food we've had since arriving in Canada and in a way wished we had an extra day! Coast Sundance Lodge was wonderful and we really enjoyed our suite - hiking in the mountains whilst still quite warm was enjoyable and marked a contrast to the landscape we also enjoyed in Banff and Jasper - the Mexican Restaurant in Sun Peaks was absolutely wonderful - Best fajitas and churros we ve had outside of Mexico!

Its a good vacation for the family..a beautiful place to visit ,we stayed en enjoy everytime ,the kids enkoy tubing ,slide ..i love our villa woodhaven 4 ..en hot tub outside nice experience!

Wow. Liked this whole resort a lot. A fun and challenging golf course. A big village with lots of restaurants and shops. The carts are super fun, and the bike park was absolutely stellar. Gotta be top 5 in North America after all the work they have done.

As a bunch of ski/snowboard bums in the winter, this is a definitely a family favourite. Great for kids. Can t comment on the summer but I hear it s a a blast so we will have to check it out one day. Not the easiest place to get to but perhaps it s what makes it almost a hidden gem and enhances the resort atmosphere.

Great all around family resort. Solid amenities and variety of terrain.

The atmosphere is wonderful. I love being in the village especially when all the skiers and snowboarders are around. There are visitors from all over the world.

Resort makes the most of the available space with a compact and cosy village. The runs are good and there is something for everyone. Would have liked to see a easier way to get from one side of the mountain to the other.

Ski Billy resort. Lift lines are short. Great place to take a begineer to lower anxiety and there are plenty of steeps and bumps for the expert. Typical conditions are sunny and above freezing. They do a great job grooming. Vast place, we enjoyed our selves. There are not alot of options for groceries, do your shopping prior to arriving.

Sun peaks is a beautiful resort with lots of activities to participate in, such as hiking, biking, and skiing in the winter. The staff are friendly and helpful and really try to make your experience the best it can be!

One of the best villages of all the resorts I've been to. I have yet to ski SP but I have used the bike park 3 times now. The new Canada Line blue run is so amazing. It flows beautifully and accommodates riders from beginner to expert. This is a must visit place in the summer. I'm sure that it's just as awesome in the winter as well.

Huge hill, lots of runs, snow is hit and miss but if you stay up top you're more likely to be in better quality and deeper snow.

Fantastic layout, lots of parking, and a well equipped farmers market on the day we were there.

Bike park was amazing !!! Ticket and reservation staff were super helpful and can't praise them enough on the excellent service I received. I live in Invermere BC but am seriously thinking about buying a season pass at Sun peaks next summer !

Beautiful place to visit. Great trail walks, fun seasonal events, love the shops.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars in my opinion is the complete lack of parking anywhere useful.

Hats off to Sun Peaks resort. Every year, something new or improved. CV-19 very well managed. We hope there will be a full opening this winter.
