Ben Taylor is by far the best addition to the sun peaks staff. He is a legend and missed dearly in Jasper.

Great open wide runs for every level, and a village with restaurants, hotels and other services highly recommend.
First time they are very nice definitely be back there in the summer
Fantastic ski resort! The village is great, the mountain is amazing, it's always a blast to come here. We've never been disappointed by our trip. A few times the weather wasn't great with the slopes being very foggy, but that was infrequent and was only for one day.
We come back here every year and will continue to do so.
I really enjoy skiing at Sun Peaks, 4 seasons and counting. There is a wide range of terrain from beginners areas to double black diamonds and terrain parks. Most of the chairs are threes or quads, and the resort keeps investing in upgrades and improvements. A new chair opened this season making another area more easily accessible. There is a lot of parking (free) available. Several day shelters. Plenty of food, drink, and gear stores around. Many accommodation choices also available. About 45min to an hour from Kamloops, driven sensibly the road is good albeit with lots of curves.
Great slopes...lots of lifts and plenty of flexible runs for groups of various abilities.
Went here with the family for some R&R over the summer. Accommodations were really nice. However, most of the amenities were closed (most likely because of COVID19). Few hiking trails, but mostly for folks that mountain bike.
Came for the biking. I'll be back for the skiing. If riding here check out the alpine xc as well, gorgeous.
Only 5 hours away from Vancouver. The snow conditions makes it totally worth the trip. The price for accommodations is very reasonable .
Come up every year. All staff are friendly and helpful. We will keep coming back!
Huge terrain, great ribs, fast mountains, lots of amenities, close to Kamloops. Definitely returning.
Sun Peaks is great all year long. The summer offers hiking, biking, golfing and outdoor events. The winter season has amazing skiing and snowboarding! The village is central and has nice restaurants to satisfy all age groups!
Not busy
Friendly staffs
Good parking lots
Many yummy restaurants
Nicely groomed terrains
I come here at least once a year every January. The hotel hearthstone is great! It's not perfect but pretty darn well close to. We have a proper kitchenette in most rooms, proper water pressure in the showers, friendly staff and an oh so lovely outdoor hot tubs (you saw that right... They have 2). Alot of the other facilities here don't actually have even one let alone 2. We are located conveniently right at the bottom of the ramble run so after a long day of being in the hills it's nice to be able to ski right to the door step. The snow is almost always good when I come in January, never too busy and almost always great weather. The crowds are small and peopleare oh so courteous on the hills. I have nothing bad to say about Sun Peaks!
It could have been terrible - bitter cold, and the watermain into our condo broke, leaving us without water for a day and a half - but it was still the best ski trip of 40+ years! Fabulous mountain, with lots of terrain for all levels, no lift lines, and best of all, warm and friendly people who really go the extra mile. I noticed that I'd torn my jacket's armpit at dinner one night, asked the organizer if there was a dry cleaner/tailor in town, and within 15 minutes, she was back, having arranged for someone to pick up, repair, and return the jacket to my condo - for $15!! That's just one small example of the consideration and kindness everyone displayed. Can't wait to go back!
Gorgeous views! So many options for things to do! Love
I don't do winter so this is a summer review. Calm, relaxing place to take the kids in the summer. Lots of outdoor activities. Small village so if you are looking for nightlife; this is not the place for you. I've made two summer trips there and stayed in a rented townhouse each time. We rode horseback, stand up paddle board at a nearby lake, canoeing at another nearby lake, and hiking on the mountain after going up the long ski lift. Incredible views up there! There a small public pool, tennis courts, and basketball hoops along with a selection of different ethnic restaurants. Since it is huge ski destination but not known for its summer activities; there is a large number of different condo and townhouse rentals open for rent... with very few people there. Bear Country rentals is the mountain's rental office and they have a website. Having said all this, don't go there in the summer... I like my privacy :)
Really nice experience, people were nice beautiful views, we spend a Saturday and the lifts stopped working at 3:30; although there is not much to do in the village maybe because of COVID-19 we manage to have a nice little weekend.
Excellent snow, friendly people and no queues what more can you ask for.
Parking was well managed. Lots of people, but not too crowded. Nice area.
Great snow and lots of ski runs to choose from, good for all levels
It is one of the best mountains I been to u just got season passes
The skiing and boarding are probably the best I have experienced in British Columbia. But maybe we keep that a secret? Massive amount of terrain, dry snow, nice. Accommodations were good, I didn't see much of the inventory tho.
We are season pass holders for several years.Excellent opening weekend snow conditions.
There are many service improvements including RFID and a new lift. Staff is very courteous and managing current conditions with positive and friendly outlooks while ensuring health and safety.
Our second weekend here and the skiing is amazing again. Great runs for all levels. Love the atmosphere!
Second largest ski resort in North America is heaven for ski lovers!
Beautiful hotel, with a top-notch comfort, beautiful look, now what is really good is the bed .... firm and fluffy and an essential item for my silent sleep. Loved it.
Wonderful time at Sun Peaks for the Serena Ryder concert. Beautiful views and lovely weather.
Gosh, this was our first time there. Its a cute little village. Very quiet at night. I suggest to buy your grocerry on the way up here. Maybe stop by kamloops and get what you need for your stay up there. There is only one general store and it is quite expensive.
Great resort with modern amenities, and stylish hotels/chalets/condos
Beautiful spot to ski, great hills, beautiful views!
Easy drive on nice roads. Our summer stay was very affordable and the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful.
What an amazing little place. Perfect for out bachelorette weekend. Beautiful, accommodating and fun!
Great ski runs, fairly reasonably priced for what you get. Rental gear is always in top condition.
This is probably the best ski resort in bc. Awesome terrain. Good chairlifts. Good learning area. I took my son on it and it was the perfect incline for him to learn on. They also have a newly upgraded annex and cafeteria with good burgers and brew. Also the village is cool with lots of cool stores and you can ski through it. My favorite mountain for sure!!!!
A beautiful valley with ski lifts in all direction from the village. Great shopping
Time spent here always goes by way to fast. Lovely place with magnificent views
Short lines, comfortable housing and friendly staff!
Absolutely stunning scenery and a beautiful drive up. Great spot for hiking and biking in the summer, and skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
The wildflowers in the summer are breathtaking.
I'd recommend this to anyone looking for some outdoor adventures.
Spend every winter skiing here great place for locals
Already booked for next winter.
Seven weeks of skiing + snowboarding.
If only the restaurants were better.
Really nice. Took chairlift to the top and hiked for hours. Good restaurants
Sun Peaks was fabulous today. The alpine meadows were full of flowers. It was warm and sunny with just enough breeze to keep the bugs away.
Room smelt , broken flush in toilet , hole in towel , beer cans on roof of entry viewed from room window .
Absolutely beautiful year round. The whole place feels less like a resort, and more of like a blissful hollywood dreamland mountain village. Perfect winter wonderland to spend the day or days at.
Nice and comfortable place but we did not meet any Canadian speaking staff (English and French)
Awesome terrain and staff. Check out Woodhaven for accommodation. (it's so lovely)
What a fantastic mountain resort!!! And without the Whistler size price tag.
I went to Sun Peaks for the first time to try out some of the hiking trails. The trails are very well marked both on the map and on the trails themselves. The difficulty is also accurately portrayed on the map. It was a really good experience for the and I look forward to going back.
Excellent ski resort for all skiers beginners to experts. The ski instructors are excellent acomodatishon are great.
Love the place.....
spacious slope, beautiful view, best ski resort ever!
Small fine place. Many activities possible. Child friendly

Sun peaks is a very nice ski resort it's suitable for a family ski trip but you can also get to your limits at the diamond slopes.
Love this place! We go for a family ski holiday every Spring Break. Tons of terrain, never long line ups for lifts, friendly staff, great snow usually, this year we even skied in T-shirts. We have already booked our holiday for next year.
My wife and I met 10 years ago. We were able to get grandma to watch the kids. We had a whole day to visit Sun Peaks. We had a chairlift ride on the Sunburst chair. Make sure to buy your pass online because they are only allowing so many people up the mountain. We hiked to Top O the World. It was pretty steep but we took our time. It was worth the effort. We forgot sunscreen and our faces are pretty hot today. A great hike and time spent.
Cute little village with lots of hiking, biking, and lake options. Many nice restaurants and recreational activities. Airbnbs are plentiful and nice
Amazing. My family goes up every weekend and they never disappoint. Foods great, staff is super friendly and there's so many things to do.
Loved it! The whole place was great. We will be back again for sure! Room could use extra blankets, and a microwave, but very nice otherwise.
This is my favourite ski resort in Canada. I have stayed their 6 times over the past 10 years. It caters to people of all ages and abilities. I like to stay in a condo right in the village. It's ski in ski out and restaurants and shops are all right there.
