Nice but small rooms. Location is top.

In the summer, asking little or no guests and subsequently very high rates for the parking lot is very customer unfriendly.

Sun Peaks resort / mountain will Never Let You Down, since its transformation 15 some odd years ago from Todd Mountain. Boy has it changed and growin. surrounded by million-dollar homes amazing people who love to mountain bike in the summer Ski and Snowboard winter. And of course super family friendly just an all-around Wicked place to be. The staff are always willing to answer your questions and help you with whatever you need, these people clearly like where they are, love their jobs and enjoy being people.

We stayed at the Coast Sundance Hotel which was very comfortable for a ski lodge. The resort was pretty quiet for the month of June but we did have lovely weather. We were only staying one night as a stopover on the way to Jasper. There is a lovely golf course and great trails to walk but we were disappointed that quite a lot of the restaurants were closed.

Amazing ski hill. Really long runs and great terrain. Fine for all skills levels. Amazing snow this year so every trip was worth it. The village is a little bit lame, though, and would probably get boring after a day or two of staying there. Not many good restaurant options for resort tourists.

We camped in the parking lot that had no services (thank goodness we have solar power and generator). It was warm and beautiful especially when the deer come out of the tall grass ten feet from our unit. The town is growing and during the summer mountain biking, hiking and golf are the major attractions. The houses are Magnificat. This is a little Whistler and has potential.

Great resort, village is a little underwhelming. Skiing/snowboard is top tier. Lots of runs for beginners and experts and those in between. Mountain staff was very unfriendly. First aid staffers were very kind and helpful on the other hand. No night runs. For a resort this size, that's unacceptable.

We went to Sunpeaks to go out for supper, spend the night and ski the next day. My wife and I went to PowderHounds for supper. My wife had a vegetarian dish I had a pork snitzel it was fantastic. Real good service as well. Stayed at The Grand Hotel, was very happy nice room. Skied the next day great spring skiing. I would recommend Sunpeaks to beginner's as well as expert skiers.

I love Sun Peaks! Been going for years. Amazing how much it has grown. Didn t have time to explore the new runs. Next time we will stay a couple nights on the hill. Wish I lived closer so I could go more frequently.

This rating is for the bike park. It's a rugged park that uses the natural terrain to the fullest. Some steep descents, gnarly rock faces, and root filled forests; it really pushes you. There is also a ton of wicked flow trails, with massive berms and perfect jumps. If you ride mountain bikes, you owe it to yourself to hit sun peaks.

Convenient location no doubt. Grab the ski and walk outside rite next to bunny hill. Awesome. But if you have neighbours above you who do not care about anybody else....forget about rest in your room. Hotel stuff was very nice, tried to help.

A very clean and quiet resort with helpful, friendly staff. It was our first time skiing and the instructor was patient and helpful. There's plenty of restaurants at affordable prices throughout the resort. If you're in a condo, they also have a small supermarket to cover your basic needs. The is spectacular. We did both Alpine skiing and Nordic skiing. The panoramic view was amazing. Since this resort is a little off the beaten path, there's fewer people which makes everything much easier for beginners or hot doggers.

Great ski-ing for all levels, very friendly, cozy. But food quality at best "standard fare". If you haven't been here then GO -- quiet runs, loads of friendly locals. I've been going for 20yrs (off & on). Keep coming back.

Came up for summer adventure. The Sun Peaks grand had a nice room, but that is as far as it gets.TV not switching, shower flooding on floor. No microwave or decent coffee machine. Lots here needs maintenance. Monday is a poor day in every restaurant especially the S.P. hotel. No one has any idea what service means. No one is properly trained. Totally pathetic. Couldn't even get a coffee. Was here last year and it wasn't this bad. Won't come back until they get their act together. Same thing at most restaurants, but not all. Could be the Covid thing.

Great family resort or great if you are a park shredder. Even on busy days you will rarely wait in a line with multiple high-speed lifts that all have great terrain for every level of rider.

We ve stayed in several places here, the Grand Hotel and a couple of the townhouses. We keep coming back, because all the shop staff are helpful and accommodating, the kids love the hills, and the prices are among the best you can get in any skiiing village in the world.

Beautiful little resort! I love the mountain and the variety on the hill. Lots of places to eat & drink, and so,e fantastic trails to walk through.

Was a little confusing getting tickets, but all in all a pretty great hill.

We have been going to Sun Peaks for Christmas holi...

We have been going to Sun Peaks for Christmas holidays (7 to 10 days) every Christmas for the past 12 years. I love it HOWEVER, I am getting very tired of their power problems. I have not kept track but I would guess that at least 5 years we've been there, the power has gone out in the whole entire village. One year we had our Christmas turkey in the oven and the power went out. People were trying to cook their turkeys in their outdoor propane bbq's. We've been locked into the underground parkades so we can't get our vehicles out during power outages. This year it was on New Year's Eve. The power was out from approx. 11am to 3am (16 hours) on New Years Day. They have back-up power for only 1 out of 6 chairlifts. They have backup power for just one or two main hotel lobby/restaurants, out of hundreds of condos and hotels. We are paying over $1,000 per night to sit in the dark, no restaurants, no heat, no nothing. They also had to cancel the New Years Big Air show, and everyone was just hanging around outside doing nothing since their condo's and hotel rooms were dark and they couldn't make food or anything. I know the resort would argue that they can't control an act of nature - since there was heavy snowfall and apparently many small towns in BC were out of power. But I call BS on that, considering it happens repeatedly, year after year, most often without a weather situation/storm. I really think the owners need to take responsibility and ensure this situation is not a regular thing. If that means dealing with BC hydro to update power lines or having back-up power for the whole entire resort, it is time they did something about it. I'm considering spending my $10,000 somewhere else next Christmas since Sun Peaks doesn't seem to take its tourism money seriously.
