Great Experience Start To Finish. Two months ago I meet Rick Morrison and the job was completed today, I know neighbors who waited 6 months for another company, Everything has been handled and managed well. No Complaints.
We were looking to lease our panels and were originally told that we were accepted into the re-roofing program and that our roof would be replaced at no cost in order to get the panels installed. About a week later, after several attempts to reach out to our rep with no response, we finally got a call back saying that we actually would have to pay triple the proposed rate if we wanted to lease, or that we could buy the panels instead and we would have to pay $5000 toward the re-roofing and they d wrap that into the loan. We were also told if we referred another client then they would cover the full cost of the re-roofing and we could move forward with the original deal. The sudden 180 after we had received the congratulatory call on being accepted for the program was very upsetting and disappointing. Be careful about trusting what you re told!
Summit installed a new solar system for our home in Hanover. Summit did a great job from the sales team to the installers and the working with the town inspectors. We can highly recommend this company if you decide to go solar. Thanks to Liz, Raphaela, Wayne, Matt and the rest of the team.
Summit Energy is a really experienced and well rounded solar company. I have worked with the entire sales team at Summit Energy from individual sales reps up to the President and CEO.
They are are great team, reliable, and they will make sure everything is done the right way. I highly recommend them.
Right from the get-go Summit team was eager to help, courteous and provided timely, accurate, to-the-point answers to my queries. Summit completed my project very quickly. I also got significant information about the Solar Power from the install team that showed up promptly at the site.
I am very satisfied with the quality of work as well as the materials used for the project.
I recommend Summit to anyone who wants to have Solar Power in their homes/properties.
Communication-None Contract-Not Followed
Would have given zero stars if allowed to do so. First met with Todd Hildebrand back at the beginning of June and agreed and signed paperwork with him in the first couple of days talking to him to install solar on our residence. Was told it would be a 6 to 8 week process to completion and 4 months later still not done and at best a least another 2 weeks. We did the financing paperwork with him as well and would start making payments 60 days after the completion of the install. As of today after several attempts to reach out to Todd he has not returned my calls or texts and the system is still not completely installed on the house. I have also reached out to the main office several times and was informed someone would call me back after looking into the matter and the call never comes.
However the company has indicated to the finance company that it has been installed and will now be paying monthly on a system that has not been cleared to be turned on by the town or electrical company along with my normal electric bill.
They have also not followed through on what they stated they would do after canceling an electrician 20 minutes before the 2 hour window of arrival time was to pass, for a day of work after I took the day off from work to allow access into my house.
Don't fall for the sales pitch that communication is important to them because it doesn't exist.

Summit Energy installed a solar system on our house in 2020. We have been delighted with the results, achieving the savings that we expected. We also appreciated the ease with which they made financing available.
Working with Summit was incredibly easy. We worked directly with Tyler throughout the process and he kept us constantly aware of our progress throughout the process. From initial contact to installation and activation within 3 months. The install team was incredible as well. They said they would show up at 8am and showed up at exactly 8am ready to go. The entire system (18 panels) was installed by 12pm. They worked like a well-oiled machine. The entire experience was phenomenal.
Mark was amazing to work with. He answered all of our questions accurately and thoroughly and when he didn't know the answer he researched it, found it and articulated it in language that we could easily understand. We are very happy with the installation of our system. The crew was very professional, respectful and they cleaned up after themselves. They answered all of our questions in a straightforward manner and elaborated without being asked. The installation looks great and we feel is an attractive and beneficial addition to our home. We highly recommend Mark and the whole Summit team to anyone who has a desire to go Solar - get Green people!!
