I m gonna be very honest. The food was great but the customer service was horrible for me. It depends which worker serves you. I happened to get a rude server. He was acting like he was in a very big rush and kept looking somewhere else and not paying attention to my order. I had to repeat my order and not only that I accidentally spilled some water on myself and asked for napkins to clean it. The server threw a used yellow small towel at me that he probably used for the valet parking outside... I ve never felt so disrespected in my life before, I m actually so frustrated. When my food came he just drop/slid my food on the table fast and walked away without asking if I needed anything else. I m guessing this server only respected the pretty women in the restaurant. The other customers around me had better seating places and were pretty and he treated them sooo differently compared to me. I m truly mad especially since I m a tourist.

Sweet-E's food was bland, some plates were made with low quality frozen items, & way over-priced. For example, the cream cheese & blueberry stuffed French toast tasted on par with the overly sweet, chemically tasting fake maple syrup. My potatoes were so poorly seasoned & undercooked that it was like eating styrofoam. The eggs benedict was meh; not horrible but not good.

The restaurant itself was cute & there's a nice, outdoor patio (although the plastic tulips along the gate seemed just lazy given that we live in paradise).
Luckily, service was fast & the waiter was attentive & nice. Too bad the food didn't match up.

It is the top pancake shop in Hawaii for both taste and cost performance. In addition, it is a little far from the city center, so it is recommended because there is no waiting time. It is a distance that can be easily accessed by car.

So ono! Ordered the Everyday Eggs, hash browns and Portuguese sausage, which were all cooked to perfection; the coffee was fresh and hot; the staff was friendly and efficient; restrooms were clean. This was my husband's and my first visit, but it's far from our last. Great spot, even though the parking's a little tight.

One of my favorite brunch places on Oahu--a must-go if you're into that sort of thing. All of the eggs benedicts are amazing. The kalua pork and corned beef hash benedicts (two separate items on the menu, just FYI) are especially outstanding. For those with a hearty appetite, the Extreme Mess is an amazing 3-egg Scramble with the WORKS. Lastly...the blueberry cream cheese stuffed french toast--get these to share, you won't regret it.

I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was sooo yummy!!! I didn't even finish it all!

Cons: Had to pay for parking so we could park right next to the cafe. Otherwise, it's very tight there and hard to find somewhere to park.

We had the old American omelette with fried rice & banana pancake. All was very delicious, service was great, atmosphere was great, prices were reasonable. We recommend this place to everyone. We will surely come back again.

A local restaurant that I accidentally visited after driving!
Thanks to the kindness and delicious food of the Korean boss, I will return to my body and mind!

All the food was delicious, but the toast was especially superb

Recommended for breakfast or brunch~ Personally, rather than pancakes, French toast was very delicious. Parking is also available (3$) and coin parking (not much) is possible on the side road. Had the most delicious in the morning in Hawaii~^^ The boss is Korean.

Nice little spot for breakfast. Its off the main road so we would have never saw it otherwise. We didn't wait for a table. We were greeted warmly by the ladies. Our food came out fast! I orderd the stuffed blueberries and cream French toast and I was full and even had one left. From what we saw the portions are huge. The menu offered waffle, pancakes, omletts, epic breakfasts, a huge burritos and more. Definitely try this place.

The location is busy but when you go in, it feels chill and unrushed. I liked going to sit at the lanai because they have nice flowers and vegetation. Some people I know go their for company/work meetings because it is light hearted. Service was nice and breakfast tasted fine. I'd say they can improve on the coffee. A bit weak for me.

Yum. Built my own omelet with kaula pork (the best kaula pork I have ever had !!!- full of flavor, slightly smoky and a touch crispy), bacon, peppers, cheddar cheese. I chose classic sides of hashbrowns and toast. Great food, prepared with style. Service was amazing. My coffee and water glass were always on someone's radar. We (2 people)arrived at 11am on a Sunday and did not have to wait. Valet parking is available.

Parking lot is always full. There is a separate parking lot on the weekend for valet parking. $ 3. The prices are average in Hawaii and the employees were friendly. The waiting time was usually around 10 minutes. We went every morning (from 9:00 to 10:00) and there was waiting time of three times. The food was satisfactory.

Sweet E s Cafe was always mystery to me. I mean, they seem to cater pretty basic food that you can find any breakfast place. So what is everyone raving about? It turned out that their food is hella amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by their food. We ordered corned beef eggs benedict with fried rice and stuffed French toast with cream cheese and blueberries. Order the fried rice!!! It s pretty crucial. Service was nice and prompt, since we got there early and it was near-empty. It was getting busy when we left a bit before 8 tho get there early to beat the rush!

Not-your-average egg benedict was written all over on our corn beef benedict. The rich horandie sauce, muffins, soft boiled eggs, corned beef everything is cooked just right and flawless. Pretty sure all other breakfast items are beyond standard. Stuffed French toast is something you can imagine, but again the balance of sweetness, soft and light bread, and the way they bake is so perfect. I know now why it s so popular by locals and tourists. Just a little tip store-front parking becomes $3 valet in weekends, which is ok but wish they start the service at their peak time and not from 7 in the morning when the lot is empty.

I love their stuffed French Toast with blueberry or banana. Better location and more seats. Very clean and I like one of the service guy take order very quickly while waiting outside. I wish they can set up a take out order over the phone.

So fresh, so delicious!!! We got both kinds of stuffed french toast and they were so flavorful and the fruit was the perfect ripeness. We also got the enormous mess and the meats were all delicious and the meat to egg ratio was great! Everything we got was delightful, and the employees were top notch. They were so friendly and had great, quick service.

Hiked the crater and one of the staff at the Monument said the walk to Sweet E's was worth the walk just because of the coffee. The additional two mile walk was WORTH THE EFFORT! Great environment, not hurried but busy and efficient. The spinach, mushroom and feta omelette was perfectly prepared and great coffee kept coming. When on the island fruit and especially berries can be hard to find yet they must have a great source. My wife had the pancakes and smiled all the way through.

A great place to have brunch, though space is small and if the weather is hot, inside will get warm as well.
But besides that, the food is great. Everything from the pancakes, to eggs benedict, to the fried rice. And do they know how to make a great local fried rice.

The Loco moko is amazing here. Took the wife here on Mother s Day and it didn t disappoint. Staff was super friendly and service was quick. If you re coming for breakfast, just here before they open. There s usually always a line.

The food is good but it's a little pricey for what they offer. Portions are decent size but if u want pancakes waffles or French toast u have to order two separate breakfast plates to get a full meal wich turns out to be around 21 dollars for breakfast. Despite this the place is always crowded and parking is scarce so if u go expect a small wait and a little trouble finding parking or pay for valet in a parking lot with only 10 spaces.

Hands down the best breakfast place in Honolulu! The food is consistently delicious and all of the guys are wonderful! They're attentive, accommodating, and very customer oriented. We used to go to Cafe Kaila, but ever since finding this gem, we've never gone back. Love this place!

Staffs were very kind. The food was also very delicious, especially the potatoes ordered with the omelette. I was glad to have a Korean employee(I especially liked " "). There are pictures of him and his family all over the wall, so it's nice to watch.

I think it's a local restaurant. Lots of quantity and good price!
Coffee refills will continue, and if food remains, it will be packed.
Waffle was the most delicious lol
