Had a layover from Australia to the mainland and was looking for consolation and calories. This lovely family owned and run diner has that in spades. Great diner food with a Hawaii flare, but even more importantly served with smiles and compassion.
I had the corned beef hash with a couple poached eggs and hash browns. Believe me, you can do this right or make it badly, and they rocked it. And then one of the staff noticed my bags and empty water bottle and asked if I would like some water to go. After traveling for 24h, this was an incredibly thoughtful gesture.
Truly Hawaiian place with great hospitality, diner fare and great prices. Highly recommend!!

Unique local style breakfast items. Trendy interior. Very limited parking but worth the wait.

It's a bit far from waikiki, so I went on a biki bike. The atmosphere in the store is also a place I would highly recommend It was good that there were few tourists.

Probably our favorite breakfast while visiting Honolulu. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table on a busy Saturday, but worth it. The French toast was great and we appreciated the homemade corned beef hash. Options like fried rice for sides were a nice touch. Service was excellent and genuinely friendly.

Hands down the best restaurant I ve probably ever experienced. The food was absolutely delicious, lots of flavor and great quality! The service was as good as the food, which is what really sets this restaurant above and beyond! They were quick and yet nothing lacking. The friendliness of the servers was a surprise, they all helped out and worked together as a team, with great attitudes! They efficiently got customers in and out with ease and a smile!! All in all this is not an experience I ve had in a restaurant in a very long time!!

My hubby and I just visited Sweet E's Cafe for breakfast and we had an awesome experience. The staff was very friendly, attentive and welcoming. We love the food and the fruits were fresh and delicious. We are definitely coming back.

If you are used to Taiwan brunch, you will feel that we are blue.

The pork eggs Benedict is great; the stuffed french toast is a bit oily; tried croissant before which is great; the drinks here are not that great.

Best corned beef hash benedict I've ever had. The corned beef was crispy and flavorful but not too salty. Most places over do it with the salt but this was spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly and the breakfast fried rice was phenomenal so definitely upgrade to that. Their unsweet iced tea was also super flavorful and refreshing. We got the side order of the blueberry stuffed french toast and I was really impressed. The filling had the perfect amount of cheesiness and blueberries. We stopped in on a Monday morning around 9am and were seated immediately. Their parking lot is very small but there's street parking available on the side of the building. The service was on point and we were able to have a quick breakfast!

Tired of overpriced food and inconsistent service in Waikiki we took our begrudging young boys on a 30 min walk to try out this place - however all agreed it was totally worth it. The waffles with fresh blueberries strawberries and bananas were delicious as were the giant omelettes and eggs Benedict. The breakfast Burrito s looked great as well.
As important to us was the family vibe and genuine and effortlessly warm staff
If we had more time here we d go back every day

Best breakfast I've had in a while. Not expensive and all fresh foods. Fast good service and free coffee refills. Iced and hot.

What a fun place to have a wonderful breakfast. Sweet Es is a completely family tan business and the service was fantastic. Short 15 min wait and the food came out hot and fast!

Delicious. Small but the wait isn't bad. They take your order while you wait so your food is served soon after you're seated.

I visited with you. Thanks to the kindness of the Korean boss, the children were happy and I was able to eat comfortably. Oh! Food was delicious, too. And I packed the leftovers and I ate again the next day :)
