Glad I found this gem on yelp! Ordered the kalua pork eggs benedict w/ extra crispy hash browns and single french toast stuffed with blueberry and cream cheese.

OH MY GOODNESS, it was amaaaazing! Once the food came out, my boyfriend and I inhaled it. If you plan to eat there, I'd suggest eating outside. They have a cute little patio area for you to enjoy your food.

I definitely plan to come back :)

I wish I could take this place home with me, the waffles were sooo good and they actually give you FRESH fruit and a good amount. My husband couldn't get over how good his omelette and hashbrowns were. The decor is super cute, the staff was nice, service was quick, couldn't be happier

We tried this place after noting it down due to good reviews we read. We showed up right when it opened, so plenty of parking available in the lot. Staff was friendly and place was comfortable. The rest of my party of 6 seemed to enjoy their food, but I was a little disappointed in mine. I had green tea and a veggie omelette. Something about the taste of the water for the green tea as well as the taste of the eggs in the omelette was "fishy" tasting. My son's pancake was really good though! I was hoping for better based on reviews.

Went to this place while on vacation due to it's great reviews. After visiting I am honestly not sure whythe great reviews. The food was pretty bland and not memorable. Server was great and super fast. There was a couple with a dog next to us that ruined everyone's morning when the dog did it's business under the table and one of the servers had to clean it up because it smelled so bad most tables around them wanted to leave. Don't get me wrong - I like dogs as much as the next guy - just not the smell of their waste during my breakfast... Needless to say, I don't think we'll be coming back here next time we are in Honolulu.

It's vacant if you go early in the morning.
No waiting around 7:00.
There are a lot of friendly clerk and it's pretty sloppy, but I don't feel bad.
The taste is delicious no matter what you eat. (I've never eaten French toast ...)

It's a cute cafe on Kapahulu. Go early because it's very limited on parking and you won't have to wait for a table. The staff are friendly and the food we good. There's inside and outside seating. The outside is a covered lanai. Tables for one, two, four or more, go there by yourself or with friends. I tried the chicken pesto omlette which I would recommend. Would like to go back and try their other omlettes

Sweet E s is a restaurant that serves the locals what they ve always loved and the tourists what they ve been missing. How do I rate a restaurant? There are two must-haves at every great eating establishment: The right food, and the right service. You get these two right and everything else is up for preference. And Sweet E s, they get them right. The food is fantastic. Big portions and full of flavor. My favorites are the French Toast and the Breakfast Burrito. You can t beat the Hawaiian sweet bread that melts in your mouth in a pool of cinnamon and maple syrup. But if you want something with a little more punch, you can t beat the flavor packed into the hefty breakfast burrito. The service is also up to par; fast and friendly are all you can ask for and they definitely deliver.

So why 4 stars and not 5? Well that s where preference lives. Personally I don t get hung up on less than impressive decor furniture or even cleanliness. But I realize some do. Sure, the chairs look old and the floor wasn t swept every time something fell from a table. Honestly though that speaks to greatness of this local establishment. They are much too busy with customers lining up outside that they don t have time to pay attention to every crumb. So good on them.

Extraordinary, excellent, enjoyable. We had great service. Everything looked delicious so need to return to try something else. A travel guide recommended the French toast with blueberries and cream cheese which were fantastic. The price was reasonable. This is a do not miss place if visiting Honolulu.

Got a waffle, lox bagel and orange juice and it cost $30+ including the mandatory valet. The food was good and the service was friendly but that's a really expensive breakfast...at least I felt like I supported a locally owned business.

Instantly one of our favorite spots! Service was amazing. Got seated right away. We got the corned beef hash benny. The only problem you might come across is parking. They only have 6-8 stalls in the front so you have to park on the street, which could take a while.

Most delicious french toast and BANANA french toast too!! I had that and their crispy fried bacon and onolicious coffee! We waited about 20 minutes but if I had to wait even longer.., its WORTH the wait!!! ONO!!!!!!!!!!! Efficient service too, just the way I like it!!!

The French toast with blueberries and cream cheese is excellent! It's good as a dessert or as a breakfast. The set of fried rice and omelet was also delicious, so I would like to try other dishes. I like the fact that the store is wider than before and the parking lot is easier to park.

Simply a must eat breakfast place in Honolulu.

Simply a must eat breakfast place in Honolulu.

The omelettes are way too delicious and the hashbrown is thin and crispy, the wheat toast is one of the best toasts I ve had in a really long time.

They have valet parking also, but if you find parking on the street you can park there which is free.

Overall, I d recommend anyone going to Honolulu to have breakfast/brunch at this place atleast once.

Me and my family were fortunate to be greeted by the orginator of sweet e s who showed us some of the greatest hospitality ive ever seen. He told us stories, gave us great recommondations and he s retired. Thats how you know hes genuine, when you just come to your business for the love of it. The food there was incredible, highly recommend the french toast and the staff were some of the funniest and friendliest people on hawaii! Thank you Sweet E s for making this experience a vacation highlight.

the breakfast was delicious but unfortunately the service was terrible. I do not understand how it has 5 stars. the service is rushed, pouring water, coffee on the table, clothes. it was not necessary to rush.

All the yes to this place. This was our first stop when we got in. Everything was delicious. We brought in a bottle of champagne to make mimosas. The food was delicious. They were more than willing to split plates between us which was nice. Very accommodating and friendly service!

Had the Exteam Mess as recommend by other reviews. Was not disappoint. Great combination of eggs, cheeses, hashbrowns, and sausage. Parking is tight so Lyft if you can. Otherwise they do have valet parking.

I love everything about this place. The decor is very cute, it feels like you're in someone's summer home's living room. The food is fantastic, I always get the corned beef eggs Benedict and hashed browns, and the staff is very friendly. This is my go to place for breakfast or brunch after hikes, when I'm lazy, or when I just feel like eating good food

I went out for a nearby paperie, so I entered for time adjustment and lunch, but it was very delicious. There were no Japanese people other than ourselves, and it was an atmosphere of local popular shops.
I ate an omelet and a waffle. I think that it is the amount that even Japanese women don't have much unless they eat low.

Crowded and about a 30 minute wait during the peak but the food and service are outstanding. I didn't realize that they provide valet parking so I drove around for a while looking for a street spot.

Staff was very attentive, but not too overbearing. Made you feel very welcomed.

Quaint location with huge flavor at reasonable prices by Waikiki standards that absolutely will not disappoint. Line was out the door but once the well served portions arrived I didn't even care!

All the rave reviews made me excited to try this place. Sad to say, I was not impressed. $11 for a basic egg, meat and pancake breakfast! I can get twice the food for half the cost at Queens Cafe in Kakaako. I actually had the chicken pesto omelette for $14. It was ok but not off the charts. $3 for coffee and our bill for 2 was $31. Way to pricey for the quality and quantity of food. I wish that I could've had better things to say but I was not impressed at all about this place.

One of my favorite breakfast places on the island! The guys are all super friendly and the food is fantastic. Breakfast burrito is hands down my favorite. Long waits during tourist season or on weekends but well worth it. Small parking lot, you'll have more luck with street parking.

I was looking for a place to eat breakfast. The eggs are fine and the French toast melts. Most of all, I picked the Egg Benedict Side as a potato and the potato is delicious. The potatoes were cooked slightly and then the spices and the oven tasted good and the liver was good :) Potato was really good ~

The breakfast here is amazing! The staff is also great, very friendly and quick. We went on a Sunday and expected it to be packed but we didn't have to wait at all, seated right away and I had coffee in my cup immediately after! We will definitely be back. Just delicious!

Starts with the valet service ($3) and then just continues with the wait staff and delicious food inside. Come here if you enjoy places like Egghead or Egg N' Things, but want a slightly larger seating area. The menu is just big enough that you have selection, but small enough that the food quality doesn't suffer. 10/10 for breakfast on Oahu.
