Attended shows in several of its small theaters and larger arena as well, there's no bad seat in the house. Will call at the box office is very efficient, and House Manager always available to assist if needed.

Spectacular performance venue with top notch professional staff and beautiful surroundings. One of the best on all levels in the country. I have toured the US, and this place will always be one of my favorites.

Beautiful theater, but I don't understand why they let people look for seats after the show has started and it's in the middle of a scene. They make you wait for a break in action during hockey games so I was shocked that they let people into the tiny rows in the middle of a song

A nice place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some amazing shows. I had a great time here and you will too if you re into the types of shows that hey offer. Clean facility, and some food choices allow for a lovely experience.

Arrive early for parking and you can grab dinner at the Straz or coffee and snacks outside or stroll down the Riverwalk, eat at the new outdoor Burger bar, grab a drink inside. Always enjoy going to see a show at the Straz

This score needs explanation I feel. The atmosphere is good. The performance we saw we couldn't complain about. The parking wasn't an issue. It would have been a 4-4.5 star experience if not for the most uncomfortable and pain-inducing seats I've ever experienced in a public theatre. Truly I've sat in stadium bleachers in Colorado snow and been more comfortable and when the point of the evening is to sit for 2-3 hours to watch a show, it severely damages the overall experience and therefore the rating score.

Great facility. I wish the older staff were a bit more hospitable. I know working in a place like that may be difficult, but there's no reason to be rude when a group is just trying to experience the magic of the place.

It's not the worst theatre I've been to but it could use a little updating.

It doesn't really have that "Wow! Theatre!" vibe. It was more like "Wow! High school auditorium."

The restrooms are not plentiful which isn't great during intermission or before and after the show. They're also very cramped and it's difficult to form a line, everyone is fumbling over one another.

The seats could definitely stand to be upgraded but they're not horrible. They're not on much of an incline so if a tall person sits in front of you, it can be a little difficult to see. Staff does a nice job of helping you find your seats as well as making people put their phones away which is really cool.

Parking is extremely convenient if you arrive an hour early. If not, prepare to walk. But everything is very bright and well lit and nicely marked so you don't feel unsafe.

A small bottle of Dasani water is $3 which is too much but pretty much the going rate.

ALL of the staff is extremely friendly and outgoing and overall, the place is pretty clean and safe feeling. We enjoyed our show and will hopefully be back soon.

Decent architecture and a reasonable layout of the interior makes it easy to locate your section seating. Bathrooms are not as large as they could be and there is always a back log at intermission.

The VIP section is at the top level but the best concert/hall seating is at the orchestra level therefore you have to make a trek to get to the VIP lounge area.

Good theater center with the largest auditorium seating 3,000+ for traveling Broadway musicals. Good acoustics and comfortable seats. Great location on the river. Could take advantage of the Riverwalk and new downtown residents if a restaurant were to be open every night there. Overall, great place to see a musical or show.

If I could give negative stars I would. First, the halloween themed show gets cancelled because weather (got it, you can fight the elements). But who wants to see a Halloween themed show in November? I don t for sure. Now the show for the holidays which I had reserved over a month ago for the 18 of December is postponed to the 27 or 28 of December! Again, who wants to see a show after the season is over? Again, I don t! Piss poor planning, produces piss poor performance!

Beautiful surroundings and love the atmosphere. Been a few times already and enjoyed all the productions. Modern with a classy feel. Took a star away due to being served a drink in a plastic cup. Sorry dispite the reasons that can be given, just a big stickler on plastic cups when you spend good money already.

I walk these streets famished

Broadway series subscribers beware! You will be forced to donate $1,500 dollars in addition to your regular ticket price of $1,500 dollars or get booted out for more wealthier people to sit in your seats. At Straz you re treated like a second class patron if you don t meet their mandatory charity donation which they falsely then claims you can get a tax credit for. The place is hot and muggy, bathrooms for woman are very few with long wait lines, parking is limited and traffic is horrible during the show. In addition the sound systems and the acoustics are often hard to hear clearly. Wait until Hamilton is over and everyone cancels their subscriptions you ll be begging for us to come back.

Once Upon An Island was tremendous. The cast was beyond talented, the choreography was mesmorising. The music told more than a story, it transforms you to a place and a time you didn't know existed. A wonderful show, a wonderful cast and a wonderful evening.

I went to the Straz Center to attend Phantom of the Opera. What a beautiful facility! The outside area was very comfortable and refreshments were offered all over. Photo opportunities abounded.

Went to "Alexander Hamilton". Literally the very last row. It's not that apparent from seating chart you really need binoculars.Obviously this is a show in very high demand. It might be they added these due to demand and these seats are not normally there?
The audio was pretty good though. No complaints there. That was most important.
While I will go again as occasion warrants, I will hold off if I can't get a decent seat.
