Beautiful building and grounds. The staff were courteous and very accommodating.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing Victor Hugo s Les Miserables at the David Straz Center and it was such a lovely performance. The acoustics were awesome and the seats were comfortable during our 3 hour show. The Center had several bars set up for the crowd and the wait wasn t too bad considering how many people were attending this show. The attendants were very helpful and incredibly efficient at getting everyone to and from their seats. One star off for the limited bathrooms compared to the number of individuals that had to line up during the intermission, it was utter chaos and rather unpleasant as an employee shouted directions in a jarring tone over and over again, similar to a cattle call. I recommend valet parking at this venue which was reasonably priced and took the pressure off of parking and walking a considerable distance in downtown Tampa on a Friday night.

It was my first time seeing anything like Tap Dogs, and it definitely won't be my last; they were fantastic! The reason I went was because students get a discount, so thank you for giving back to the community.

1st time coming to this theater and had a wonderful time. Location was easy on/off Hwy. The staff was very friendly directing us to our seats. View was very good. Lightning thief was a campy and very entertaining show. Great moment for myself and my 11 year old. Thank you

Staff is no nice and elderly cute, the location is beautiful and they have multiple events going on in multiple theaters. Our seats were very inexpensive like $60 and we thought we were going to be very far but we were actually very close the stage, with an awesome view.

The Straz is always an exciting family outing. We saw the Black Violin. It was a phenomenal show. If I had one critique, there was not enough handicap parking and valet was full.

Was a awsome venue for watching Hamilton, the only detractor was Google maps spazzing the directions up and we ended up being a bit late for the first act.

Variety of theaters of different sizes with top quality entertainment ... all year around.

I love seeing shows at the Straz. I've appreciated having a pass this year, though I'm not sure I'll renew just yet. Finding food that's more affordable can be tricky unless you leave the premises, but Stream Heat has coffee and sandwiches and when Maestros by the river is open, there's some more affordable quick service options

Love the venue and staff, they help us make our charity event, Pole for a Purpose, a success!

Less expensive than Doctor Phillips center in Orlando and not a bad seat in the house. We couldn't have been happier with our $39 tickets!!!

Parking is crazy. Make a reservation today for parking. The seating is well planned and all seats are good. We enjoyed Hamilton very much. The restarant buffet was above average.

It was an enjoyable afternoon with a homage to Nat King Cole buy a delightful performer. A mix of Nat King Cole standards and some holiday songs. We love the intimacy of the Jeb theater as always.

Every event I have attended is beautifully produced and curated. The only constructive criticism is to expand their valet service for more capacity as it gets filled up pretty quickly. Always enjoy attending, highly recommend!

The Play That Went Wrong was funny slapstick. The crowd was into it, exhibiting side slapping enthusiasm.

We went to the Straz Center for the first time to see Hamilton. This photo is from the back row of the Mezzanine level dead center in the middle. The theater is as nice as I expected. The real star of the theater however was the ladies restroom attendant. She got about 20 people in and out in under 4 minutes! Otherwise, the lobby was traditional theater fare. They sold souvenirs, snacks, a candy bar where you fill your own bucket, and regular bars. They take credit cards at all of the vendor stations. Beware of the prices! Two mixed drinks and a bottle of water was 30 dollars. Not bad for theater prices, but expensive if you are on a budget. Outside they have beautiful fountains and a riverwalk area that had a small bar in an airstream trailer. It was a really pretty area to talk about the show before we made our way to the parking lot. Speaking of parking, we found a lot where we paid two dollars!!! It is the Royal Regional Lot located on N Tampa. You have to walk a little bit to get to the theater but for 2 dollars it is worth it. Overall it was a great theater experience and I will be back.

We saw Hamilton here, great venue! Staff was great about ushering people to different restrooms during intermission to make sure everyone could get back in time for the second act.

We went to see the first Harry Potter movie/orchestra performance. It was our firat time here since moving to Florida. We arrived early so we were able to walk the waterfront before the show which is a nice place to take a stroll. The outdoor seating is nice. The Straz Center is absolutely beautiful inside. The staff which are mostly volunteers are very nice and helpful. Any seat is a great seat. We sat in the mezzanine section . The orchestra was perfect and the sound was amazing. I highly recommend going here

I love the shows that come through the TBPAC. The parking is easy, the staff is amazing and the casts and crews never fail to put on a fantastic show!

Been there twice this year. Always a wide selection of artists! It s a elegant place. Saw Jim Jeffries and Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Had a blast. Valet parking is worth it!

Deeply disappointed in the customer service I received at the Straz Center. I purchased tickets for a show as a surprise for my husband. I specifically stated it was a surprise. I provided my email address & instead, the Straz emailed the confirmation to my husband. Then, when I called back to let them know, I was on hold for 38 minutes waiting for a human to answer. Horrible customer service.

Love the different smaller events they do as well! I was able to meet Roxane Gay and it was such a great opportunity for me to meet a hero of mine!

Clean, well maintained and well staffed. Attended for a graduation so I cannot speak as to how the shows are. I can say the seats are comfortable and there is hardly a bad seat to be found in the house.

ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! The staff were amazing and knowledgeable. The show was great. The facility was very clean and well kept.

We were in the Morsani Hall. The show "The Sound Of Music" was great but the seats in the balcony and gallery were incredibly uncomfortable with a straight up 90 degree angled back. The view was unobstructed. The view is from Gallery- door 2- row BB- seat 9.

Broadway quality theatre in downtown Tampa showcases some of the greatest plays and concerts that can only be seen in places like London and NY. Hamilton, Wicked, The Nutcracker just to name a few

Went to see anesthesia it was an amazing play the building is a little older but in good conditions I would definitely suggest the valet parking is difficult the year the theaters in isn't really good for traveling they need more signs on the road

Great Broadway show. 2 restaurants, 2 theaters that the Florida Orchestra uses for performances.

We had a great time at the Stars Center.

We parked at the Poe garage and walked. Later on we wish we would have parked further or with valet because exiting the garage after the show took a full 30 minutes. Even though, you paid on the way in, you had to put your ticket in a scanned on the way out...

The seats were comfortable at the show. Food at the side areas was poor and expensive. The bathrooms were an issue for sure. They have massive lines and had to open up the other theater during intermission.

It s a beautiful theater! Great sound! I would return for sure!

Always a 5 star experience at The Straz. Tonight we sat outside for a Halloween performance by the Tampa Opera Singers. Beautiful and funny and a perfect night surrounded by the lights of downtown Tampa!

Refreshments are a bit pricey and the seats could always be a little wider, but maybe I need fewer refreshments so that I would fit into the seat as-is.

Attended "Best of Tampa". If you love food, drink and music it's a yearly must do!

We saw the Shaolin Monks perform. It was awesome. Don t sit in the front row it is hard to see anything

The center itself is great and I've been numerous times This weekend however I found several of the staff to be generally grouchy.

The Straz Morsani hall is beautiful I truly enjoyed my experience.

Went to see George Lopez. I had VIP tickets, so I got to go to the VIP lounge. The bartender was awesome. Very friendly and has a great taste in music. The auditorium was nice. The sears were comfortable and there was plenty of space to get in and out of your seat.

I want to thank the staff, volunteers, valet and management for an incredible experience. My lady needed to use crutches due to her knee. As soon as we arrived, valet brought a wheelchair. Staff made the transition from parking to our seats, painlessly. And volunteers were always asking if we needed anything.

Parking was congested and a little scarey for our ALF residents but the opera and the atmosphere in the Straz and the staff were all amazing! Two of us even had adult libations! LOL

I went to see my sister perform here. The staff was very nice and helpful. She performance was amazing! Couldn't have been a better place for her to perform.

I visited the Straz for a concert with the Florida Orchestra. To start, the Orchestra was fantastic. They were energetic and played incredibly well.

The venue is beautiful, and in a great location on the Tampa River Walk. The price for the Florida Orchestra concerts is great as well, and they offer an incredible military and student/educator discounts.

Dress up or dress down. The crowd ranges from suit and tie to t-shirt and jeans.
