Great mountain!! It's a little pricey but since they have access to a local lake they have the ability to make as much snow as they want when Mother Nature isn't doing her job! I would definitely suggest this for a great family ski trip!

Horrible experience !! Went early to check my 2 kids in a all day class on 12/30 8:15am , they confirmed there was room to take them and even checked my 2 kids in . Once they asked me to pay and register sweet old MARY told me because I was not in the system she didint want to take the time to register me since it takes 5 minutes and she said there were pre registered . MARY made me get off the line and go to guest service to register ! By the time I came back class was full. Messed up my whole plans for the rest of the weekend !!!! Also at guest services they sold me the lift tickets with the dates incorrect and clases also incorrect . TERRY the manager was very rude and instead of trying to find solutions and help me out all he said was JUST CANCEL EVERYTHING. Terry you idiot I came here to have a good time . Steven over at big cubs is the best ! That guy is awesome and accommodating !!! Steven is the only reason you get 2 stars .

Gondolas had loooooong lines going up, spent 30 mins in line for the gondola. I guess you can kinda expect this because of covid restrictions. However tickets being so steep, the value for what you pay for isn't great.

On the flip side, the mountain was great, snow storm few days prior made it even better. They allowed you to book reservations for the restaurant, which was nice to have.

Overall, you should be able to get better value elsewhere

We go every year and don't ski. The music festivals are fun and a summer visit up the gondola is a fun activity. We stay at crown point which has a nicely outfitted center space with grills, picnic tables, lounge chairs and a small pool. Perfect for vacationing with you guys children!

Snowboarding after a recent snow in March. There were a few icy spots, but overall the mountain was great. Nice base, groomed well, and all staff was awesome and polite. I go a few times a year, from NYC.

Nice spot depending on conditions. Bear down was a fab run, softened by the sun. But the rest of the mountain was groomed for ice skating, or so it seemed. I m surprised the grooming equipment can t provide some courdory to set an edge

Good family mountain + some epic glades if they're open. A little posh for my taste, and prone to attract rude New Yorkers (sorry non-rude New Yorkers, some of ya'll just need an attitude check).

Very poor customer relations. All but two lifts closed when we arrived, web site and all other online information states all lifts and gondola operating. Major waste of time and money, web site needs to be accurate!

Strangely Stratton has not invested in high capacity lift tickets scanners which causes a bottleneck and skiers to get bunched up during a time when people say should be spread out. What is up with that?

Stratton is a great mountain. They have a bustling base village, great terrain, friendly staff. On busy weekends the lift lines can be a bit crazy. Most of the lifts are six packs so they move people up the hill, but in my opinion they overload the trails. If you get out early, then eat lunch early, you can avoid the busiest time in the mountain.

Beautiful mountain with a very organized structure. Its worth to pay the extra price for the service and the variety of food options and shops. The resort is opened until mid April and it's very well maintained. The trails are beautiful and well mapped and signed

The most poorly run ski program I have ever seen. Very high ratio of children to instructor. Not challenged or placed in the right groups. Only instruction my son received in a recent half day lesson (skiing blue/black) was keep skis straight. Generally confusion, lack of information across staff. Will never return to Stratton.

I've skied this mountain for 30+ years. Solid VT mountain. But customer service is rediculius.

Can't believe how $ focused customer service is. If you need real customer service you'll get a nice smile and zero help.

Today, with the frozen ice and with nearly every lift broken down , they'd rather have us risk life and limb than give credit to ski another day. My father has skied for 50 years. He's 73, but he's a real skier. It took us nearly an hour to get down one run (only the lower half is open) because his 73 yr old legs couldn't hold a carve without catching an edge and falling down. Eventually, for his safety, I took his skis and had him walk down. Any more runs like that would put his life in jeopardy.

It was before 10am. I thought -- mistakenly-- that obviously They would give him a voucher to ski another day. He paid Stratton cash for his discounted ticket. We didn't want cash; just a voucher. I didn't even care about my ticket , because if I wanted to ditch my father (which I wouldn't), I was fully capable of skiing.

I own a business. If I could remove a risk to any one of my customers by giving him a credit for another day, obviously I would -- whether it's standard practice or not.

But Stratton said NO REFUND, NO VOUCHER -- NOTHING! Of course , they had a very nice smile, but sorry, there's no supervisor to talk with today , sorry.

Think about the deluded , money-hungry attitude: The policy effectively encourages my father to put his life in jeopardy by skiing in the worst possible conditions-- because he has to keep this ticket--rather Than Simply giving him a voucher to ski another day. And it was only 10am!!

I'm sorry but I've had great customer service before. I strive to provide it in my own business. CLEARLY, it is not of paramount importance here.
