Stratton Mt. Resort Reviews

Stratton Mountain Resort is a great family friendly ski resort. They have a great lineup of trails raining from beginners to advance ski and snowboard enthusiast. It's also a great place to spend an evening after you ski with some local stores, bars, and restaurants.

Terrific ammenities at Stratton Resort Village, great lodging, retail shopping and facilities. There's even a golf course! Lots to do besides just ski.

Solid ski area for VT with a great village area, though just as all mountains will, it gets crowded during holidays. Suggestion is to split up and hit the singles lines if you can.

Mount snow/Carinthia over Stratton any day of the week. The lifts are always packed here every lift all the time. It s a family resort, mount snow always has several lifts with no lines all throughout the day and better runs then Stratton. Better woods for sure at mount snow, don t go here rip off for 125$

Good mountain, bigger in size. There is a gondola, and plenty of trails.

Our Boy Scout Troop went White Water Rafting with Zoar who was there for the Dam Release on the West River. Would do this again without hesitation.

Not a moutain of the scale like Killington, but the shops near base lodge and food are nice

Had a wonderful time. The hearthstone lodge was great, as was the clubhouse space.

My fiance and I are getting married here in October and decided to try it out on the slopes. Its not difficult to ski but the apres ski is amazing! A lot to offer in the village with shops, bars and restaurants.

Awesome resort!! ..and they have GREAT live acts as well. Kwame Binea Shakedown was the right choice!

The snow is great and there is a large amount of very diverse trails.

Great place to ski in Southern Vermont. Just avoid long weekends and holidays.

Great mountain, with a high-priced village for post-skiing or non-skiers enjoyment. The staff are typically very friendly.

We took our 2 year old son on the gondola. It was a blast! He had so much fun. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing. The staff was very friendly! The only complaint I have is the website. It took me about 10 mins to find the page where I could buy tickets. It's not user friendly at all. The oragnization is all over the place.

Was there for the North American OCR Championships! I'd love to come back and hike here sometime. Gorgeous mountain!

One of the large ski areas of Vermont. Predictably crowded and expensive. However, if those two elements are not a deterrent, then intermediate skiers will enjoy Stratton greatly. Advanced terrain is much more limited compared to more northerly Vermont ski areas. There is a beginner area as well which is much quieter than the rest of the mountain.

Well first off reciepts in drawers from over a week ago from another customer, crusty food on the inside of the dish washer. No air conditioning in hallways or bedrooms. Ive stayed at $40 a night motels that are cleaner and better put together. I really can't believe they charge over $250 a night for this. 2 star tops.

Stratton resort was great. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Was a pleasure to visit.

Lovely ski village. OK condo unit. But it did have a gas fireplus, so that was nice.

Went to a party at a friends house. It was good. If you have rich friends, make them buy a house at stratton and have parties there. Highly recommended.

Great grooming and enough chairs to handle the crowds. Pricey though.

Stratton was empty December 24th. I won. A whole mountain to myself. It was great til the rain. The star was so on point and reapectful. Covid compliance was excellent. And then the rain, and then go home. Good job with the conditions Stratton. Excellent.

It was very busy when I was there and conditions weren't great, not their fault. Would be nice if they had more chairlift that go to the summit

I visited on a chilly fall day to hike up the mountain. The views were gorgeous and the base area was adorable. I can't wait to visit again in the winter to ski!

Beautiful mountain and a quaint little village. Brought my girlfriend and she took a lesson. After the snowboarding lesson she wasn't even sure which foot was supposed to go in front. I'd say that's a bad teacher.

Nice ski resort with good design. Not too much walking or flat parts at the bottom and the 6 people chairs are great.

Awesome mountain for snowboarding. Lunch in the lodge is garbage and insanely priced.

Expect resort pricing... Meals worth the money. Mountain is amazing. More often then not great conditions ( pending mother natures approval)

Hands down the best mountain resort in the east. Not the biggest or most challenging mountain, but the cobble stone village at the base with all the shops and restaurants you won't find anywhere else in New England.

It has a awesome Ski Patrol Staff and great Mountain to ski

Great place to send some time, but not cheap. 8 and 9 dollar pints is a little rich for me. Shops and restaurants are nice. Fire pits at night are great.

There are advantages of skiing on Super Bowl Sunday , decent conditions

Its fun, big and usually has some of the better conditions on the east coast. Many lodging options and dining options,. and a few great bars as well.
Great customer service and great staff operate the resort.

Got a season pass to ski Stratton this season. Staff was very friendly all around the resort. Most trails were well groomed even midweek and snow quality was pretty good despite rain earlier in the week. All runs were enjoyable although level of difficulty felt less than other Vermont mountains like Okemo and Stratton.

Great place for skiing and a fun night life as well. Always a good time.

Very nice place to ski for a few days.
There is a cute little village very close to the lifts to enjoy when you need a break from the slopes.

Was here for OCR North American championships. What a great venue! Would love to come here during the winter to experience the mountains while skiing. Almost like having their own little village at the base of the mountain. No need to leave!

Even though the conditions were not the best they still tried their best to keep the mountain nice and the rooms were very clea. Also the service was fantastic.

Great place for a get-a-way! We were in town for a friends wedding and had some time to spend hiking and strolling around town.

Worth a weekend getaway if you get lucky with good snow conditions.

The mountain itself is great for beginners or experts. seems like a good mountain for families. The apres ski scene was fun too.

Attended for a music festival, Minus Zero two years a row. Generally a smaller crowd, but the pull big names which is awesome. Awesome mountain trails too. Just $$$$$ for anything.

Stratton is plain and simply put a ski resort that pretty does everything as it should be done!

Stratton is fun for snowboarding, with a few oddities. Expect to park too far to walk to the lodge (frequent shuttles). You then schlep your stuff up two flights of stairs to get to the main base lodge They don't want people leaving lunch bags and ski bags at the tables or under stairs and will now take what they find and put them into complementary (free) storage, down the baggage hall with the cubbies. Limited ways to the top @ main area if gondola can't run. Was just there this Saturday and weather, conditions were well above expectations for early Jan. Ladies rooms are top notch Food is expensive, I tend to bring my own and save $$ for the bar. Tons of rooms and restaurants in the area.
