Stayed at the Mountain View condo. Nice, well equipped, but could use a facelift here and there. The Resort village is really cute, and I can only imagine very busy in the ski season.

Great snow, wonderful mountain. The best in Southern Vermont!
Beautiful, large slopes everywhere. Incredibly fun, but I can't personally say much about the black diamond trails since I didn't go down any of them.
Beautiful mountain...the view was awesome and fall colors were amazing. You can hike the mountain by skiing slope or take trolley up. Will definitely visit again.
Mar 17-20, 2019: This was our first visit to Stratton Mountain Resort. My wife and I are middle-aged snowboarders and the green/blue trails were perfect for us. Most of the trails were groomed softpack/hardpack but we did encounter a narrow shaded trail that was solid ice. We liked the gondola (especially when the wind picked up). The base lodge has a food court and cubbies for your gear. There is a free bag check too. We highly recommend ordering the rice bowl at the food court for lunch. The little ski village is quaint. It has shops and restaurants. Overall, we had a great time at Stratton and we will be back.
Good selection of ski trails. Lift lines were definitely on the longer side on the weekend. The base lodges were conveniently located albeit a little small inside. Typical on mountain food choices, a grilled cheese place and two waffle cabins.
Great staff, great mountain. Instructors very experienced and helpful. Everything you need is in one convenient location. No need to leave the resort. Dinner at Verde is an incredible experience. Stores and shopping was fun. Market on grounds.
Lots of restaurants and shops on mountain. Wide variety of lodging for various price ranges. People always nice. Great skiing terrain.
Love coming here for a drink during/after a ski/snowboard trip. But if you come during a long weekend then be prepared to wait for a drink. This place gets crowded. Great atmosphere and employees though.
Not much snow in 2016 but they make the most if it. Stratton is always fun, village is dope, etc. Pricey but eh
Went here for a concert! Great venue and spacious and open. They could have had a much better selection of food and drink though!
Awesome mountain for all levels of skiing and snowboarding.
Best ski resort, great trails and they keep in awesome shape!
Stuff is super nice. They allowed us to check in as early as 9:30 ( instead of 4:30) and check out at 1pm do no additional charge. Rooms are spacious, clean and very cozy.
Great food, great space, good service. THe front desk is a little disorganized, but this has been the best NewEngland Ski location I've been to.
Super friendly staff, the resort is quite nice in the off season for weddings the rooms are little tight but some rooms are much larger we noticed, DOG FRIENDLY I do believe I did see people with dogs make sure to ask first but the shoppers they have here there are a ton of bowls of water for dogs put out. Easy to get around and alot of hiking trails and options for things to do around the resort but there is no major shopping area or anything like that for 20 minutes or 20 miles. Really like it, just wish the room had like a tiny fridge and microwave for milk for our baby.
Participated in my 3rd 24 hour of Stratton, always a great time
On the slopes, there's a pretty good amount of variety of terrain, and the maintenance is top notch. There's a good amount of high speed lifts, and like any mountain, you'll find some slower more outdated ones on the mountain. The village is awesome too. It looks beautiful it there's a good selection of places to eat and drink.
Stratton is a good resort. A little limited in trail options, but fun for families.
Decent mountain. Nothing really steep but great trees for skiers of intermediate and up ability.
Everyone there was very nice, from the people at the desk to the handyman!
Very close to the mountain, large rooms, great shuttle service. Made it very easy to get on the slopes fast and painlessly.
Good place to ski if there's snow in the glades. If not you might get bored if your a black or double black skier. Great for intermediate and novice
Large mountain but wind at the top blows the snow off the trails making for some very slippery runs.
Great trails. Good snow condition, and well managed for covid protocol. The lodge isn't really open but you can use the bathroom, get food and eat it outside.
Lost a star for me. No band on Friday night, fire pits were not going at all. Some of the charm was lost on this visit.
Lots and lots to do! Shops, eateries and fun entertainment both in season and out of season.
Great snow today. More is coming. It's the only place to ski for me.
Here for a wedding. Beautiful resort and great service!
Snobby staff in the base lodge. Wouldn't refund my girlfriend's ticket even though they claim to pride themselves on customer satisfaction... The village is nice if you don't feel like driving.
Great mountain. Nice accommodations. Ski school is awesome for the kids.
Still a great place for the snow, skiing and shoppes and restaurants. Very well organized and managed for Covid- had a great weekend, the decor finally made us feel like holidays!
Awsome place to ski, and what do you know ,you can take quad tours on the mountain during the summer!
Older Ski Resort Ski Lodge was okay easy to get to easy to get to Mountain View City get to little town they had everything else was beautiful the restaurants bars and all the amenities where excellent around the lodge
The staff are always very helpful and friendly, great trails and they groom them well.
Great people. Snow conditions were not the best, but the run of 60 degree weather had that affect.
Decent east-coast mountain. Food and hotels are very expensive. Mountain is usually reasonably maintained. Gets incredibly crowded on weekends.
Friendly and helpful service. Great snow and trails
One of my new favorite mountains! This mountain has a ton of glades and is so fun!
Awesome place to ski week days. Do not go on weekends. It has huge lift lines with 45+ min waits for the gondola. This is close to NYC so everyone comes up to this mtn. Food is very expensive. Had lunch at a pub for $70 for 2. That was burgers and beer. Great terrain for skiing though.
Awesome time at Stratton with my family. Can't wait to come back!!
Really nice mountain, not as big as others I've been to but still really nice! If you like skiing glades, this is your mountain.
Very early in the season and not many trails open but conditions were great and I had a blast. Cant wait to go back when its fully open.
Decent conditions on a warm day. Great inside atmosphere after skiing. Lines at lift a little unorganized at times
Great skiing this week at Stratton. Good variety and trail lengths, lots of choices in the cafeteria including healthy options.
Stratton is a great overall mountain. It's family friendly and has a beautiful village right off the trails. There are condos located throughout the mountain which is very cool. The main lodge is spacious and there is a large space for bags so there aren't bags in sotting areas. I love Stratton and hope to make it my home mountain.
Stratton is well maintained and has a really nice variety of trails. Also lovely scenery.
Great experience so far! Friendly staff and solid runs. If you re on the East Coast and not ready to make a full trip out West, this is a great option.
The place is great for intermediate to expert level skiers and decent for beginners , but once you fall 5 times like me on the cub hill, you'll learn pretty quickly lol. I'd recommend this place to everyone, make sure you try to park your car in lot 1 for easier access, next i.would highly recommend additional layers as the wind chill gets pretty nasty and also try getting all your ski gear and try not to forget stuff, it's pretty expensive to buy / rent here, starters at $55 a day. I'd also recommend to definitely buy souvenirs as well , Stratton sports center has great ones.
When the conditions are good, Stratton is great for single or double planks.
