Amazing place where to ski on the East coast. One of the few resorts that reminds me of a French village in the Alps. Great slopes and great village: the main street is pedestrian only, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Great place for a family vacation and to relax in the winter.

Good sized mountain, decent amount of trails. Smaller than Killington but it depends on what your looking for that day. As a whole seems more like a family learning mountain. Gondola access to the top is excellent, quick speed enabled you to get up enjoy your runs and go again. Lift lines move pretty quick too. Food quality at the bar area leaves much to be desired though.

Fantastic ski resort! Tons of free parking and frequent shuttles from lots during ski season. Extensive village with shops and restaurants as well as ski lodge and bar. Always tons of events and activities going on during ski season and throughout the year. Have a good time at thier free concert and firework every year for 4th of July.

Stratton Mountain has an amazing and very beautiful resort. I loved spending a great weekend with my girlfriend and a few of my friends at Stratton. Stratton offers a large selection of trails for every skill level along with a few terrain parks and a bunch of food options. Stratton is well worth the visit.

One of the best places to go skiing on the east coat and with it being about 3 hours north of manhattan and west of boston it's close to the mayors city. They are the best to make fake snow so even with not a lot of snowfall you will have some great terrain to ski on!

Love this place.

Love this place.
1) Best snow making and grooming hands down. Fast lifts too.
2) Grizzly's is my all time favorite Apres spot.
3) Excellent customer service (100% guarantee and friendly stratton employees parol the area welcoming and helping guest. If Disneyland had a ski resort, this would be it).
4) Cute village.
5) Compared to the rest in VT, I would call this the "high end" ski resort. The only "con" is its pricer than the rest. But you get what you pay for.

I'd also add that Stratton does some really nice Summer events and are worth checking out (July 4th fireworks, saturday night bands, car shows, etc). Their tennis school is great and so is the golf course.

Great family skiing. Trails for every level, attentive staff, lessons for varied age groups from novice to advanced. Parking at the sunbowl makes getting on the mountain faster. They need more space in the dining rooms on the weekends though!

Been taking my family here for 11yrs. Was always a great place and great mountain. Watched prices at Stratton continue to rise. Cost of skiing is getting out of reach for most families. Very disappointed in new ticket that allows you to go an hour earlier. So even though I paid $100+ for ticket, I don't have opportunity to ski fresh tracks, unless I pay more.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I can be very critical with my reviews, especially hotels/restaurants because I've worked in them for years. I goofed up my reservation not once, but twice and they were happy to help and fix it. It was an early booking offer too. So they could have said something about fine print etc, etc, like I've dealt with before because I'm prone to messing things up. It's a Vermont thing I guess, they are the best people. I'm going to leave a review on every site I can join, just to give them the credit they deserve. They gaurantee the snow! Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Stratton. You're in good hands all the way through. From the reservation dept, to the shuttle drivers. Thank you Stratton I'm going to move to VT some day just to be around people like this. See you guys on Sunday. I'm so excited I won't be able to sleep the night before!

Went snowboarding here over a long weekend with my family. Conditions weren't great the first day, but we got snow overnight and the conditions improved markedly. While the Blue and Black trails were overall nice, the Greens were pretty hit or miss. Many of them are either flat/uphilly, while others have steeper sections than seems normal for a green trail. I'm also not a fan of the layout of the lifts. Ursa Lift especially, as there are 3 trails that empty directly into the loading line area, making a big, steep, icy "bowl" which for some reason has small bumps and jumps, and also people trying to ski passed to reach the two green trails behind the lift. The whole thing seems dangerous, honestly. While Ursa is probably the worst offender, others were also pretty bad, like the Sunbowl lift that drops you off on a very steep offloading ramp that could be difficult for beginners or moderate skiiers and riders. Overall, the mountain has a lot of trails, many of which are good, the inconsistent Greens and poorly laid-out lifts lower my overall rating. The food, however, was better than I expected, with the Sun Bowl lodge providing some really tasty burritos (including a vegetarian option) and a great looking burger.

We were staying with a group of friends in cabins nearby so we came to Stratton Mountain with our 5 goldens to ride the gondola and hike to the fire tower. There was a chili cook off, brewfest and live music going on which made the place a lot busier than I imagine it would be on a regular weekend in October but we had literally no wait to get on the gondola. I paid $20 for the 7 of us + pups to ride in 2 gondolas which was an awesome deal. Our golden was mesmerized watching the ground below him and being able to see for miles & miles and we came on the perfect weekend, the foliage was glorious. We hiked the fire Tower trail but unfortunately the line to go up was very long so we opted to head back to check out all the activities going on back at the lodge. Oddly enough this weekend there's snow at the top of the mountain so it's a good thing we came last Saturday. Looking forward to visiting again, I could literally ride that gondola all day.

Great resort with a nice village at the base of the mountain. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars! Great skiing with beautiful views and a variety of skiing difficulty. Also a fairly short drive from NYC!

Where everybody knows their names. There's a tight knit community of long time skiers who, decades ago, relocated here from Europe. Indian summer know for its warmth literally and figuratively. Suggest visiting in the off season to meet the souls of the mountain.

I like stratton. It has a great variety of trails. The conditions this year have really been great. Hopefully it snows again. They do an excellent job grooming. They are doing a good job with the whole covid situation.

Visited Stratton for snowboarding. Great food for great value at the base lodge -- try the corned beef sandwich. Service was great too. I lost a screw on my bindings and everyone directed me to the right place to get it fixed (free of charge too).
