Stratton Mt. Resort Review

I was there for a wedding, the staff was very nice, the ride to the summit was enjoyable.

Great mountain that works hard to keep snow on the mountain with a large number of trails in Southern Vermont.

My husband and I did the 44-wheeling summit tour at Stratton Mountain and it was really cool. On our way up was cold and so foggy that you couldn't see the bottom of the mountain but in our way back down the sun started to come out a little. Just remember to dress warm and bring gloves if you go any time after the beginning of September because it gets colder once you reach the top. Obviously you need to have your hands out to ride the whole time so having gloves helps enormously!

Prices were high, but it was the busiest week of the year. Conditions were good and the crowds died down in the afternoon.

Clean and well taken care of lodge. Fun trails for all levels. Went during the week, and it was not crowded at all. Great village at the base. Pricey lifts but worth it the day we went.

Skiing mid week was great. Even with 6 hours of rain the night before, the groomers had most of the mountain open and in pretty good condition at 9am!

Beautiful ski place. Friendly staff. Rental for ski is expensive though, around $60 for day rental

Great time on a great Mountain. Staff was friendly & helpful. Two different people in my group had equipment malfunctions. Ski Patrol and Burton shop both went above and beyond to get the problem fixed so there was minimal loss of mountain time.

Great ski terrain. Nice groomed trails. But food is expensive.

A well run operation. Staff were top notch, friendly, and great service across the board. Early season, so slopes were slick with ice patches, but still great skiing to be had. The bar at the mid mountain lodge has solid bloody Mary's.

Some times it is too crowded and I have to wait half an hour for the lift. Asian bowl at main lodge is good.

Stratton is my home mountain, all the love in the world to that place.

Can be busy on the weekends, but the more I come here, the more I enjoy it.

Excellent family resort, my personal favorite in VT.

Beautiful resort with beautiful views, neat village at the bottom with plenty of stores and restaurants, high end for sure. Bring the money, it s definitely worth it, high-speed lifts, gondola, great glades, and excellent food. Bromley Mountain is in sight of the peak, and makes great pictures. Free buses to parking as well. Great day overall. Peak house, mid-peak lodge, and base lodges. Definitely recommend.

Stratton is a great place to visit in the fall ,for foliage viewing ,the gondola ride is very affordable for a family ,absolutely stunning views from the MT top ,nice little hike to the fire tower and an even better view from in the tower ,I felt very safe in these covid 19 times the staff was very helpfull and the gondola cabins were sanitized very well ,although there was not to many of the shops that are there open ,there were a few places to eat there open as well ,food is very pricey there ,we got some sandwiches at the market that were very very good ,I would recommend visiting Stratton in the fall before the snow flies great place to visit .

A pleasure to ski between its forests and its wide slopes.

We stayed in the Hearthstone Lodge. Room was really nice and the stay was overall very pleasant. Only downside was all food options at the resort we're pretty pricey and involved an hour long wait for dinner. We also went to the craft brewfest here on Columbus Day weekend, which is a great time.

Village felt like a western mountain...quality of Vail, Aspen, etc.

Love this mountain! The trails are very manageable for a novice skier and it's easy to navigate.

Everything was great... Mountain was great... And the village was good... Plenty of bars and restaurants

First time for my children skiing. Ski school was great, village rentals super helpful, and accommodations luxurious. Will go back!

Beautiful snow at a we'll run resort. Service was attentive and grooming excellent. Some credit also to mother nature for the gorgeous powder in the fun learning glades for kids. We had a great time.

Well above average east coast skiing, also above average price. Staff was great. Great variety of terrain with steep stuff to chill bunny slope which was great for kids learning. Some of the longest runs I have done on the east coast of the US.

We really like the village , plenty of choices to eat, drink and be merry! Always great snow, the week we were there they received 18 of snow, Epic conditions! Staff is always friendly.

Great place! Truly enforcing Covid guidelines. I saw several staff members asking costumers to mask up while waiting at the lift line. Excellent attitude!

We spend 6 days of summer here every year. Lots of outdoor recreation. Be sure to time your visit with the Wanderlust Festival, great event with a village full of fun people!

Super fun. Easy to get to trails. Super viewpoints. Can see Okimo backside. Gorgeous!

Went here for MLK weekend. The place was not prepared for the crowds at all. We stayed at black bear and there was no place to eat dinner. Everything was booked for more than two hours and the restaurant in the hotel stopped taking orders at 9pm. Total disgrace. Place was ok till that point. I will never take my family here again. Cost me thousands of dollars for three days. Not worth the aggravation. Go somewhere else.

This is really a half star. When i go i have no fun. It's always packed, the service sucked, the lines are long, The food is overpriced. I bought chicken tenders and I paid 15 dollars for four chicken tenders. They were more like chicken nuggets. Horrible Mountain.

We went here for an amazing music show, the outdoor venue was beautiful and the staff: courteous.

Beautiful ski resort even for summer. For $40 for a family (6 people max), you can take unlimited rides of gondola and the American Express lift. The view from the top is breathtaking. There's a lookout deck at the top of Upper Kidderbrook that is only a few minutes from the gondola station.

One of my favorite mountains! Usually great snow and has a fun village.

Cute little "main street" with shops vneck restaurants. Our son enjoyed the slopes and his instructor.

I was here during Wanderlust and can't wait to go back -- to the festival that is. During the festival the whole mountain turns into a magical town filled with yogis, musicians, delicious vegan food and plenty of nature to explore and play. As for the mountain itself, the facilities were clean and well maintained. Ride the gondola to the top of the mountain where we were you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the surroundings.

Not a huge fan. Subpar conditions on too many occasions, even only a few days after snowstorms. Tends to get icy very quickly, even by East Coast standards. Lifts are fast and lines aren't bad, but gondola is frequently closed for only moderate winds, especially on weekdays. All this coupled with very pricey tickets makes me hesitant to return.
