Very nice atmosphere. Our dishes were ok, but it was more form over function - meaning what they were trying to accomplish looked better than it tasted such as the brisket in rice noodle. The sauce smothered it.

This place is the bomb! We had the whole place to ourselves since we arrived just before ski season.

Amazing staff, amazing food. But the real clincher? They let us test drive a new Mercedes for 2 hours every day! I didn't want to leave.

The bed was so comfortable i was tempted to steal it!

Very expensive for everything....the room, bar, restaurants, and rentals. Staff is not friendly or helpful. If the staff does have to help you with something they certainly do not do it with a smile! The bartender was down right rude and let us know that she was supposed to be doing something other than bar tending. I mean it was a major chore when we asked the clerk at the front desk if we could have a roll of toilet paper since the room only had half a roll with no spare. The only personable employees were the valets. When we checked in we were told by the head bellman that we couldn't use the luggage cart unless a bellman was attached. We travel quite a bit and no one has ever told us that. Dogs were allowed everywhere and I am allergic so needless to say I was uncomfortable anytime I was in the public area. There are plenty of other ski resorts in the area I would recommend using them.

Great place to visit and stay for the weekend. Friendly staff. The shops were open on Thanksgiving day which made the visit that much more enjoyable. The decoration, color combinations and fireplace created an outstanding feel and great vibe.

Spruce Camp Base Lodge had a good variety of freshly cooked meals in a large room with plenty of seating to relax after skiing, though the food was a bit expensive. Clean bathrooms and helpful staff as well.

This review is specifically about the SPA nail salon- the spa as a whole was great and everyone working there was exceptional, but DO NOT GET NAILS DONE- it may be the polish they use, but my nails chipped and had bubble dots the same day as the service so that was disappointing. Other than that, the hotel, spa, and other amenities were all amazing!

Wow is all I can say. I was fortunate enough to get a trip to Vermont with my sister in law and her company Farm Bureau Health Plans. The food was out of this world , especially the breakfast, fresh fruit, house made yougart, granola, eggs, bacon, pastries and an omelette station or crepe station every morning. Our room was so nice. The scenary was out of the world. They had shuttle service to take up other places or you could use a car for 2 hours at a time. We too advantage of the spa one afternoon. Sauna, hot tub, and massage was so relaxing.

Beautiful resort especially the grounds. Very friendly staff especially the valet, Beanery staff, whistle pig bar and hourglass bar. Spa is nice however we felt it was a bit pricey for what you got. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the worst experiences going to ski resort. Don't book your tickets online because they don't know how to use their computer system to get these tickets. After 40 min and Paul's the tech guy help, we had the tickets but the mistake was that they issued them to us as employe tickets. Going back with boots and kids was very frustrating. For the pain they caused Paul gives us $60 coupon. When at the restaurant they don't want to accept partial deduction. 2 people can't buy food for 4 people. As result lost $20 out of $60. Bottom line I will newer be back and hope these who read this, will think twice comming here. Guess what, they have cheap labor too. Students from Philippines work everywhere.

Don't get me wrong this is a outstanding hotel and the location is superb. The views from the hotel and the scenery around the hotel is superb and truly picturesque. The room was enormous and felt more like a little self contained apartment and that's probably what it was meant to be. The hotel is massive and you can get lost if you don't know where you are going or don't pay attention.

The best feature of the room has to be the bed and the sheets. It's been a really long time since I have slept in sheets that are as comfortable as the sheets used by this hotel and the same goes for the mattress. The negative point I would have to raise is in relation to the shower. The shower head and the water volume coming out is really pitiful and I can imagine that a woman with long hair would have problems rinsing her hair properly. On a positive note though there is a bath which is very nice.

The final comment from me is in relation to the food. The food that was provided by the hotel during our stay was great. There where some weird combinations like banana bread and salmon but overall the food was very good.

I can well imagine that this hotel could be perfect for wedding, special occasions, honeymoons of a nice ski holiday.

This is the third time I come here and I love it!! It is in a very nice location, the rooms were very clean and well kept. The food was great and the service was great as well. The Spa is my favorite. I always have a great relaxation time here.

Very nice high end hotel. Nice shopping inside. A bit overpriced but lots of things for the entire family to do. Great proximity to the mountain and ski lifts. Great activities during winter and summer.

Absolutely gorgeous place, great for a getaway, alone or with family. Plenty of activities to do in the summer, including gondola rides, indoor rock climbing, ziplining, spa treatments, swimming, a performance arts center and more. A little on the upscale side, but I believe you do not need to be a guest at the resort to enjoy a lot of the activities and shops they have aroun. I was there for the 2019 Folk Festival which was great, a completely different concert experience which was much less in your face and more about the community enjoying the music and the weather together. Would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our one night stay! Everyone we encountered from the front desk, valet, spa, and restaurant were all fantastic. We enjoyed dinner at Solstice (the crispy Brussels sprouts... yum!), a massage in the spa and the hot tub. Since we were here in November before ski season it was pretty quiet and felt like a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. After we left I realized I left my Kindle in our room. No problem! They shipped it out to me ASAP. Couldn t be happier with our stay and can t wait to come back!

Beautiful resort. Wonderful amenities. A bit on the pricey side but worth the added expense. Wasnt able to experience all amenities due to time constraints but the people were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely revisit.

Concierge at penthouse location not hospitable. Arrived after long ride to the resort that boasts its pet friendliness to be told that the room we booked - 3 bedroom penthouse suite was not only not pet friendly but also not service dog friendly. No apologies- just bluntness. We were then switch to a ground floor room over looking the parking lot as the big fix. I just re read the entire site- nothing about only specific rooms being pet friendly. I booked it through American Express and did tell them to make sure that they had the dog on the reservation . 3rd year here with our dog - we were so excited to stay in the nicest room for an extended stay, it was in place of Christmas gifts- now just a big old bummer. Still no apologize. The penthouse section of the web site has a dog and a happy family on the slope on it. Never coming back again!!!

Recently stayed for my third time at the lodge so obviously I m a fan. Just wanted to write a review for my massage therapist because I loved my massage. His name is Cory and I definitely recommend him. I got up off the massage table feeling like jelly in the best way. Lol It was honestly one of my favorite parts of my trip.

Just went to the Stowe Mountain Lodge Classic Tennis Tournament. Awesome day. Amazing backdrop with mountain breeze and fresh air to watch a tennis game. Resort is beautiful. One of the best in the Northeast.

Here for a training. Great instructors (shout out to Blake!) but a little disorganized with scheduling and consistency across groups. It seemed as if their largest priority was getting everyone to stay thru lunch. Not complaining however as I was happy to get as much time in on the slopes as I could! Great Hill and friendly knowledgeable staff.

The Lodge at Spruce Peak is a very nice destination if you want to enjoy a good time skiing or snowboarding an Eastern Beast. There are slopes for all tastes.
The hotel itself is very well run and the staff is friendly, accommodating. Given the premium price range I wouldn t expect anything less. The room we had was a bit dated though and the valet services misplaced a pair of skid and boots. I had to argue to be allowed looking myself - found them within 3 minutes.

OK for skiing and snowboarding. Food quality is bad and overpriced at best. Pay over $26 for a very bad pizza. This place needs some desperate quality and customer satisfaction upgrade. There is 100% demand for services but only 10% supply. Very bad for VAIL partnership.

Very nice accommodations. Rooms are beautiful, bathroom was spacious and very clean. The grounds are very well kept and picturesque. The gondola to the big mountain is super cook. It would be awesome if the fire pits were equipt with towels to wipe down the wet chairs, blankets to cuddle under and smore makings conveniently located near the fire pits.

Place was amazing. Rooms were large with well cared for amenities. Only issue was the WiFi wasnt good at all with the quality of the hotel. Barely any WiFi outside 20 ft away. Everything else was great though.

We had fun staying here for the weekend. It wasnt very busy as we expected. The lodge was huge and beautiful. Valet service was great. Staff are friendly. And most of all pet friendly. Prices within the lodge cafe s and restaurants are pretty steep (as expected) nice hot tubs and heates outdoor pool. Over all we are very satisfied.

Should have been a great stay, but the beds were uncomfortable and the in-room heating and air unit was extremely loud and made it next to impossible to get a good sleep. The rooms were beautiful, grounds are incredible, and the resort itself is fabulous, but hard to really enjoy when you can't sleep. The food was great, however the in-room service we received was horrible. After waiting an hour for our dinner, they called to inform us that they just lost the order and it was never even prepared. Then by that time, what we ordered had run out, and we had to pick new items, then had to wait an additional 30 minutes, then they forgot part of the order and had to wait for that to be delivered as well. They comped the meal, which was the right thing to do, and hopefully rare, but it really shouldn't have happened in the first place. I would have to think very hard if I wanted to stay here again. Shame for such an amazing place and location.

Had a great time at the Lodge this past week. The staff were all incredibly kind and accommodating. The food at each of the on-site locations was great and the spa was very relaxing. We would definitely consider going back

We had had an amazing vacation and I loved the Spa!

I was lucky enough to have Jennifer Findley for my massage the very first day and immediately requested her for the remainder of my appointments/treatments. She is amazing! Erin did my hair the last day and it still looks awesome. The resort is AWESOME and the spa is divine.
Enjoy!

We visited during the peak of fall. The jacuzzi was clogged and slow moving. TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE PRICE WE PAID. The Fridge was somehow placed in such a way that the fridge door wouldnt completely open because the cabinet in which the fridge was placed was blocking the fridge door. It was pretty simple to notice for the house cleaning. I would have been fine fine this was a 100$ motel. Having paid 300$ for the stay, again this was totally not acceptable. The location was amazing. But the hotel was not. Solistice was super expensive and not that delicious. Other restaurants were all closed. Not happy with the stay. Only because we had high expectation because the price we paid. This stay was only work 150$. Price was for the location. My suggestion rent another place in Stowe downtown and drive to spruce peak and enjoy the location, the restaurants and the ambience
