Always friendly staff. Hardly ever lift lines. Gorgeous new facility/lodge. Excellent food.

Great mountain, lots of trails and the town center was beautiful.

We spent 3 days at the Lodge at Spruce Peak, the view can not be beat! It was such a wonderful experience seeing the mountain at Peak foliage. Every staff member we encountered from check in until checkout treated us with the utmost respect and courtesy, including the valet and housekeeping! Our room was spotless and we felt at ease during our stay.

Kind of old and folksy looking as far as ski lodges go.

The rental department seemed disorganized and somewhat unhelpful.

Stunning property with gorgeous views, incredible food, amazing skiing or snowboarding, and a fantastic spa. Every guest here is treated like a VIP from check out to check in.

This place is great. Pulling up the vallet is there to great you open your doors, take your luggage out and bring it to your room. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice, the spa is excellent, the pool is relaxing and refreshing, lots to do here. This is a place to come and unwind, they make sure they will help you in any way possible.

This is a beautiful property in a prime location. The staff was very professional. The Covid-19 protocols were reasonable. I felt safe at this property.

Amazing and prompt service. Beautiful views. Great food. Lots of things to do.

Too expensive. Staff said they don't post prices for beverages. A bottle of ice tea , was $5.

Was there for Stowe Mountain derby but it got cancelled due to ice. Great experience otherwise!

Our home away from home. Love it but can be dead during the week due to few guests staying. When we were here a few weeks ago, food was off, breakfast buffet had fewer choices

Stowe, its not me, its you.
We were extremely excited for this visit - 11 years after our last, which made the overall disappointment so much more bitter. TL;DR - keep driving to Tremblant.
We were looking forward to the new facilities and hotels. It started great. Good reception after the long foggy and rainy drive. The room was tiny. Even though it was supposed to be a studio - it was smaller than most normal hotel rooms we have stayed in. Traveling with our 9 year old - once we pulled out the couch, there was barely room to step on.
The ridiculously icy conditions on the mountain with the wind hold on half the lifts including the gondola while asking for $130/day tickets was pretty ridiculous. But at least the hot tub was good.
And then the phone in the room didn't work and there was no maid service. We asked the front desk. They checked and said they will send someone right up. Nothing. We asked again the next day nothing. We checked out today and they told us we 'rented from a thrid party provider' and had to call some special number??? Even if that was the case - for 3 days we had no trash pickup, towels.... even a phone!
Beyond the vallet/bell boys - the staff was not helpful in the least - especially the hosts in the restaurant.
We checked out a day early even though we had prepaid... We may see you in 11 years again, Stowe. But I won't shed a tear if we just never do.

Horrible experience. Customer service was not friendly and hospitable. Will never stay here again. When expressed my concerns, they were simply dismissed with I m sorry you are having a bad experience .

Great, rustic lodge! It's a Mercedes-Benz sponsored hotel so there is a fleet of cars you can reserve and check out. I was able to drive a G wagen and GLE43 AMG.

Love the lodge for apres ski, too expensive for overnight

First time visitors. Peak autumn season. One of the most beautiful places we visited. Would recommend to anyone! Staff was accommodating and knowledgeable.

Stowe Mountain Lodge has a very clean and welcoming feel to it.

Went skiing a few days here last season. Ended up buying my pass here this year and have already had the chance to go. Great facilities at a great mountain, definitely recommend checking it out!

Walked around the lodge. Nice place however felt to ritzy for my taste.

So comfortable here. All of the staff is very helpful. Rooms are super clean and nice. A lot to do in the area. Visit The Alchemist for the world's best beer.

I love this hotel. I have been here in summer and winter. Beautiful. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Beautiful place and mountain but slightly overpriced

Beautiful grounds. Good service. They should clean the pool more often though. Mass amounts of flies in swarms floating through as you swim is quite gross.

Taste of the food was ok, but the prices were ridiculous. I get that they can charge whatever they want but 10 dollars for a bacon egg and cheese is crazy. 6 or seven chicken nuggets is also 10 dollars.

I skinned up the mountain in the morning. The ski patrol were friendly and professional, ensuring the safety of the downhill skiers.

if you are looking for a place to stay in winter, this is the great choice to stay for a ski getaway. Location is amazing and the service is top notch. Amazing job by ski valets and parking valets. Outdoor pool and hot tub facing the slopes and great food right in the lobby.

Views are striking. Staff attentive. Superbly appointed and maintained facility with excellent rooms. A must.

Our favorite family getaway. Not cheap unfortunately but visitors can expect first class service. The recently added village in the back of the property has not yet lived up to the potential, but I can see how it will tremendously to the whole experience. Note: valet parking is mandatory and is $25/day plus tip.

We stayed here for my fiance's birthday and had a wonderful time. The customer service is superb and everyone is very friendly and willing to help. I am a beginner skier and we went from 12/06-12/09 and not many of the green (easier) trails were open, in fact none were on the other mountain. Keep in mind this has nothing to do with the Hotel but good knowledge if you're visiting Stowe.

As for the hotel: bring a bathing suit the pool/hot tubs are open year round, our room has an awesome fireplace, the breakfast buffet is $24 and amazing, you are charged a $40 hotel fee for guests services (valet, etc) at the end of the trip.

Way expensive as expected, extremely friendly staff, and food was decent.

The location is very very nice, it's a short drive from some of my favorite hikes like Sterling pond and during the winter it's a great area to ski. The rooms are always clean and tidy when you enter and the service people are amazing at helping you get what you need as soon as possible.

The valet guy was MIA when we went to pick up our cars but the food and drinks were good and the staff was very friendly

Nicest hotel in town. Great views, food, and service. Make sure you check the place out when everything is open. Visit mid week, but not in a shoulder season to have the best experience possible.

Came up to Stowe for a 2 night mini vacation and booksd the Lodge at Spruce Peak. The hotel itself is nice, very much the charming lodge experience. The King room was small, but fairly nice. Unfortunately we had a few subpar experiences during our stay. To start, our room was not cleaned while we were gone from 9am to 3:30pm. We let the concierge know, and they sent someone while we were at dinner who made the bed, but did not clean the rest of the room or bathroom. The sliding door in the bathroom, which separates the toilet from the rest of the bathroom, also got stuck closed on both of us at different points. If there weren't two of us staying there to force the door open from the outside, we would have been stuck in the toilet. This was not fixed when we mentioned it to the concierge. Lastly, the Wifi is basically unusable. You'll frequently drop connection, and half the time you are connected, it won't actually have internet service. The cherry on top was the $80+ "resort fee" we got on check out, which apparently does not include housekeeping or usable wifi. I'm sure this is normally a lovely hotel, but it wasn't worth the fairly high rate we paid based on our experience.

Couldn't really complain about much which is impressive within itself. From the view, to the gorgeous construction of the lodges to the outdoor hot tub, all 5 stars.

Staff however should have better communication with each other and how they update information skiers/boarders such as trail closures and openings. Also, not many of the staff new the names of their own community buildings.

Beautiful spot in the summer! So close to hiking trails, restaurants and more. Loved the property and the area. Only knocks were the room didn't get as cold as we would like (but we didn't call and ask for a fix) and we ate at the bar 2 nights which was only ok.

The review is solely on their horrible covid protocol. The resort is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. The rooms are incredible. Prob the best I ve ever had. But the covid protocol is ridiculous. They shut down 90% of the places at this resort. Legit nothing to do for the guest. You can ride the gondola for a ridiculous $35/person or reserve a pool spot which there s a 99% chance you can t get. They only have 1 restaurant opened which is on the expensive side which causes guests to travel upwards of a 1/2 hour out of town for food they could get in the resort if they didn t shut everything down, They could have easily opened up most stores in the resort with the strict covid restrictions.

Great experience at Stowe Mountain Lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breath taking views, delicious food and a spa. So relaxing and stress free. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will definable go back.

The SOLE reason to stay at Lodge at Spruce is access to Mountain Course. Otherwise, be advised Solstice restaurant is terrible and outrageously overpriced and hostess is surly. Decor is tired and shabby with chipped furniture falling apart in places. You are also far removed from quaint downtown Stowe...

After a long drive to spruce peak resort we enjoyed the later part of the evening until we retired to our room. We called to get sheets, blankets and pillows to make up the pull out sofa and Doriann stated she would have them sent up. 30 minutes later we called again and she said it takes time. 1 hour later we called and she said she would look into it. 1.5 hours later she didn t pick up the phone. I went down stairs and spoke to the manager who said he would personally take care of it and never showed up. We even offered to get it ourselves. We were exhausted. Finally at 11:30 pm we were all set. I brought two of my own wine glasses to the resort wrapped in a dish towel. Cleaning broke them as I found glass in the kitchenette and never said anything. Upon checking out the associate asked how my stay was and I summarized it for him and he said sorry to hear that can you sign here. It s a lovely resort but staff is rude and inconsiderate. But, valet was amazing!!!!!

Extremely convenient. Very pricey, but that's what you're paying for. In-lodge food options aren't bad either. Overall nice warm ambiance, both from the employees and from the decor.

Update (original review was written first day of stay): I dropped the rating to 4 stars. My gripes are with things that are not necessary to staying here, but to me still affect the overall impression. If I had to rate solely on the amenities/food, then I would probably give 3 stars.
-You have to pay for the machines in the game rooms. Seems a little petty to be scrounging for a couple of dollars, considering the money people are dropping on rooms.
-The breakfast buffet is overpriced considering the quality of the food served. You're better off choosing one of the individual breakfast dishes if you must eat there.
-The sushi is truly mediocre for the prices and upscale presentation/atmosphere. Would not recommend.

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. We had a great day of skiing. Only comment is about buying lift tickets. The longest line we waited in all day was to get our lift ticket. They solve this issue by providing a card that automatically loads the ticket so you never have to wait in that line again.

Absolutely beautiful location and building. Great restraunt. Although $150 for having a pet is a little steep!

Stopped in at the stowe mountain Lodge off of the long trail for some nachos and beer before continuing our hike. A great decision!

Visited for New Years Eve and to be honest, my wife & I were very disappointed. Absolutely unorganized and just chaos from beginning to end. Beautiful place but geared only towards large groups with tons of money. One and done for us

Didn't stay over as a guest, but when visiting the lodge looked very nice!

Went there for dinner the other night. The food was vwell cooked and well seasoned, and the dishes were interesting without being too far out there with the flavor combinations. Overall very good experience.

Amazing place to be. Loved the pools and spas. The view was breath taking. Make sure to book a room above the tree lines if you visit!

The prices are quite more expensive than I would like, but they are basically the same as other ski resorts in the states. The food was pretty good. It was very crowded, unfortunately.

Clean rooms, wonderful swimming pool, guests are spreading happiness to each other and all that because of the high quality of service and clean rooms they provide, plus the staff are the biggest pleasure you would meet there, and I would love to point at Moya the front desk worker, her service was amazing, I would definitely recommend this place just for the people that looking for a happy vacation that s full of to much entertainment!.

Great ski mountain, true to its reputation. I was there for a day of skiing and had lunch in the base lodge cafeteria. The food was prepared fresh and was very good. Overall, prices will limit my visits to the resort, but everything else is worth the trip.

Nice rooms, smoke detector was faulty and beeping when we used the room.

Everything was great from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the lodge is lively and the rooms are clean. The spa services were fantastic and you just can't get better skiing accomodations. I can't wait to go back.
