Do not stay here, or if you've already booked- cancel while you still can.

Understandably the main reason to stay at this hotel during the autumn season is the incredible views of the fall foliage. We booked a Ridgeline room, which in photos advertised online still shows a great amount of the mountain. When we entered our room on the 2nd floor, we had zero views of the mountain itself- we were looking at a tree. The room itself is at best worth half the cost they charge, it's all about the location and VIEW!

We went straight to the front desk to express our concern and that we were displeased, but they offered no solution. Due to their COVID cleaning policy, once you've stepped into a room they cannot move you. But how would I know they stuck me with a view of a tree and no mountain, until I stepped foot in the room?

Just such a great place to escape from it all and feel truly comfortable on our honeymoon. They were really on point with all COVID protocol too! Can't wait to go back for our anniversary!

Stowe Mountain resort was great value. I can't wait to go back.

First, everyone who works here are courteous and friendly. Food was delicious and had lots of healthy options. Drinks were good. Coffee at the pantry? was good. Spa was great- we had different services done- scrub, facial, massages and they were top notch. (Yes we are picky). We loved the spa! You can relax for the entire day. Skiing and skating- awesome! Cross country ski was fantastic and the instructors are very good. Like others mentioned, it's very clean and the rooms are nice and spacious.

This is a family and pet friendly hotel. Plenty of babies and dogs around. (Not a place to go if you want a romantic get away- from your own kids, IMO).

Another thing to be aware- they charge a large amount of money, like $300 per day, to hold at check in. Definitely bring your credit card that has high credit!

After checking into our room I found there was very little privacy in the room we were given as there was a hallway from another part of the hotel that was able to look in on us. I requested a different room and they were very easy-going and were able to get me a room that had a much better view. Just this simple request had made my stay that much better.

Exceptionally friendly staff, great rooms, ski valet/parking valet work beautifully in concert to minimize your effort. No other place I'd stay if skiing on the mountain. The bar upstairs has good variety, food is excellent and drinks are stout. I'll definitely be back!

Incredible customer service from valet team to housekeeping and the front desk was incredibly accommodating. Many thanks to Jill Cullen who provided customized recommendations.
Shadaye thank you for the great service. Our dog Stella had a blast. Cannot wait to return.

This place is amazing. I've been before in summer but this was my first time in snow. Beautiful spot. The restaurant/bar has good food and drinks. My little brother had the sushi and it was fantastic. The staff are really friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

This place is pretty awesome. The best thing this hotel has going for it is the staff. They are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever been a patron of. I met a lot of people there and had a great overall experience. The food in the restaurants was absolutely delicious. The hot tub and outdoor heated pool and fitness center were all well worth taking advantage of. There's a spa with all the expected services. The ski valet is easy to use and really helpful. The valet is quick and friendly. Everything was absolutely top notch and convenient. Do beware of going during off seasons or even close to the off seasons because things around the lodge will have completely different open hours than listed and many things may not be open at all.

Fantastic venue set perfectly in the Green Mountains, right along the Long Trail. The staff is friendly and over the top accommodating. The hotel has a foreign exchange program for students in the Hospitality industry, so expect top notch service from young people with beautiful accents! The pool was perfect. The hot tubs had a bit of a mechanical issue during our visit, but we're still nice to use. Our room was very comfortable. The restaurants were OK...I'd suggest trying out one of the local places in town. Overall a very nice property, fairly priced.

We have stayed at the Stowe mountain lodge several times as a family and love the hotel, pool and restaurant. However, last summer the staff left both of our doors wide open for hours (after turning down beds), left their keys in one of our rooms while they were wide open and put our dirty dishes back in the cabinet both days after cleaning. I told the front desk and then called the manager. This was in August and he still has not called me back. Haha. Needless to stay we will find a safer, cleaner hotel that cares enough about its customers to return a phone call next summer while in Stowe.

The Lodge exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The staff were all wearing a masks, and they had a lobby temperature check which made us feel comfortable. We noticed the cleanliness of the facility and staff constantly cleaning surfaces and the public areas. Overall, we had a wonderful time at our stay and we will definitely return.

The spa staff and facility are amazing. The restaurant and bar were welcoming and had excellent service. The front desk was run by a condescending snot, very disappointed with the service at check in. The rest of the staff was friendly and professional.

Beautiful location and buildings, excellent service, lots of activities both on site and just down the road in Stowe. Food is good if slightly overpriced. I cannot speak to the quality of the winter sports as I stayed during September, but the zip lining and indoor rock climbing facility were excellent.

Absolutely outstanding!! My wife and me had our honeymoon here in late May right before Memorial Day weekend and everyone was so sweet, kind, concerning, and attentive to us! When we arrived, there was chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and fruit in our room waiting for us! We stayed in the Timberline junior suite and it was perfect for 2 people, especially being able to turn on the fireplace! The weather was wonderful, accommodations were terrific, and food was incredible! Especially the bacon! Being a Mercedes partner hotel, they have a fleet of Mercedes cars/SUVs that you can use complimentary to your stay for 2 hours per time slot! It was so much fun! The trails and fun restaurants of Stowe were a blast to go visit! The spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge was wonderful, we had a couples massage and it was the greatest massage experience we've ever had!! We'd highly recommend this place to anyone! The front desk was so helpful with suggestions, directions, and things to go do if we wanted to know!

The resort is beautiful. The conditions were terrible and they were charging full price with non refundable tickets. It was $80 even if u wanted to ride half mountain where it was less icey. They wouldn't give half day passes either to lighten the blow in your wallet in the bad weather that we have been having.

Only for the wealthy.

Average class can't afford this place.
Very Outrageously Priced

Stunning location. Staff couldn't be more friendly from the valet parking to the front desk. The bar staff and waiting staff couldn't be nicer. Rooms really spacious and clear. Fabulous bathroom. Great food and drink. A real treat staying here

I really hate doing this because I loved the resort. The snow conditions were amazing, the food was great, and most of the people there were welcoming and fun to talk to. The only thing that brings this review from a 5 Star down to a 3, is the parking attendants. As we took a break from skiing and walked back to our car, we witnessed two parking attendants harassing a dog inside a customers car. This is absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully someone reads this and is able to find the people responsible and hold them accountable for their actions. One bad person can ruin an experience for someone.

Terrible, check in took 15 minutes. Wrong room, requested 2 beds, took another 15 minutes to change it. TV the size of a laptop, pool unusable, need to make reservations the day before to use , was not told that. Had to walk forever to get to room 349, nothing open, coffee place etc. Was not told that either. One restaurant open, way overpriced and not very good, been going to stowe for over 30 years, usually stay at Trapps, big mistake staying here . Almost 300 for the night, will never stay again. RIP off city.

Lots of great food selection. Pricey since you're captive to eat there between runs, but much better quality than I've found at some other ski resorts. Counter service was also very fast and food made fresh to order. Beautiful great room. More
