I slept in my car at the parking lot because I couldn't afford to stay here. I was not told to move. The bathroom facility was awesome and there was free Wifi. Because of this place I was able to hike to the top of Mt Mansfield.

Completely over priced for the quality of service/rooms. $600/night for a basic room, completely run down, walls scuffed up, dirty carpet, stale room odor, no mirrors!! What? The only one was very small over the bathroom sink. I was told that mirrors were not an available ammenity by guest services. We arrived at 5:00 pm and was told our room wasn t ready yet (???!!!) so they put us in a room directly next to the elevator where we could hear every last person coming and going. We arrived at our hotel room only to find the keys didn t work, went back to lobby and spoke to the manager who told us we d have to stand in line again to get new ones which would have been fine if there hadn t been about 15 people in line waiting. I later expressed our disappointment in the experience to this manager who literally didn t have anything to say about it. Definitely not worth the money.

To be honest, never stayed in the hotel itself but the ski resort is on point! On my opinion the best one on the East Coast. Two mountains for the price of one. Plus the area if full of other cool things to do, besides skiing.

We did the Gondola Ride up to the top of the mountian. Staff was friendly and the ride itself was great. Views from the top are unbelievable, I highly suggest taking the Gondola if you are visiting in the summer time, even though the price seemed a bit steep to me.

The rooms are small for the high price. They are very nicely furnished with dishwasher, Cuisinart appliances and many fine additional touches. The furnishings are also top notch. With that being said the room rate is still over priced by $100 per night. In my opinion this room commands a $250 per night rate. I don't see the value in their adverted $350 per night for the Timberline.

Pool = No Lifeguard

Pool = No Lifeguard
Some parts of the hotel = water on the floor, slippery.
Glass in the carpet, rooms are not fully clean upon arrival, only looks clean.
Beds are comfortable, great view, fair food at the Hourglass.
Service = Perfect! Always smile / helpful. No issues in maintenance, rooms are accompanied with kitchen, ok shower, nice bathroom.

I ll be honest, it s a good place to relax with the spa, but either the prices will kill you or the wet floors will with a slip here and a fall there, it s not up-to-date like 5 star place. More like 3 to 4 stars.

The staff is extra friendly and so is the valet in the front of the Resort .

3/5.

The wife and I visited for a 3 day, mid-week getaway in the summer. The hotel staff was polite and helpful and the amenities were great. My only complaint is is valet only. However, the free, no Hassel Mercedes Benz 2hr test drive is amazing if you want to get away for lunch, dinner, etc. The village next to the hotel has a lot of small shops and restaurants but most are closed on weekdays. This place seems like it would be amazing in ski season with lift access on-site. There is also plenty of things to see and do in Waterbury, Burlington and of course, Stowe.

Accommodation was very nice but when we got to our room we discovered only one mug so at about 6.30pm went to reception and asked for another, at 8.30pm phoned reception to remind them.... The next morning asked one of the lovely cleaners who was cleaning another room who organised a replacement for me by making a phone call. A small point l know, but you'd expect a 5* hotel to be able to rectify a small matter like this very quickly.
We were advised to go to breakfast late which we did, and still we had to wait for 20 minutes for a table to be cleared. In the evenings there were families queuing for a table to be free in the 'cheaper' restaurant which l feel is unacceptable.
And then to cap it all, a 23 US dollar charge PER DAY for the Car Valet Service.
Very disappointed.

If you want to see Stowe and stay in a truly beautiful place filled with helpful staff, stay here. The whole resort is immaculately clean and every staff member we interacted with was very helpful. I highly reccomend the Soltice restaurant for breakfast. Just about any staff member knows the areas very well and has great suggestions on activities.

We originally booked a studio, but by signing up for the free loyalty program, they upgraded us to a one BR. They are 950 square feet. At $470/ night all-inclusive, that's about 50 cents per square foot.

Large, sprawling complex built for skiers, but has a nice feel off-season, too.

Rooms are designed for long stays: many have kitchens, washers, driers, etc.

They said the outdoor pool is heated to 87 degrees, but that seems optimistic.

$20/ day mandatory valet parking. Wifi is free.

Our room had a heating and cooling unit which made the most annoying and loud noises. Even with our earplugs in, we could still hear the noise.

Took three different mechanics to finally fix the ice maker.

The south wing is the newer of the two wings. Love the marble and tile they chose when designing the bathrooms.

Night stands on either sides of the bed---yay!

This was a wonderful place to stay, dine, and recreate. It exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, hospitality and dining. It was a world class establishment.
The staff was friendly and intuitive concerning your needs. They were individuals who were very well trained.
I cannot wait to go back.

Location is great, as close to the slopes as possible. Staff is phenomenal. Rooms are nice and super clean, the layout could be slightly better but perfectly fine as is. First time visiting and will surely be back.

This resort is beautiful. With the beautiful Spruce Peak as a background it is like stepping back in time. The shops and restaurants are wonderful also. The Hourglass restaurant is casual with a beautiful fireplace. The food is delicious and well prepared.

Beautiful place to stay, amazing views, room was spotless and we loved the hot tub/ pool. However, the staff here was by far the worst part of our trip. We were laughed at by staff as soon as we stepped out of our car, walking through the lobby and also walking outside trying to just enjoy our time. I guess it s rare to see a young couple able to afford a weekend here? But, no matter our age, or how we were dressed(whatever the issue was that your staff had), we gave you OUR money and should be treated the same as anyone else staying here. Because of the lack of respect we will not be returning.

Privately rented unit in the lodge. Great mountain views. Rooms had all the necessary amenities for an extended stay with some remote working time as well. Rooms are starting to show some age. Other rooms trash left in hallway for days.

Enjoyed our fall visit to the Lodge. We were a little turned off by all the pre-arrival Covid requirements/reminders, but understandable. Honestly, we weren't sure we'd feel welcome, but once there, the staff was very friendly. It's the first time we visited in the fall, and the atmosphere was quite subdued - not sure if it's Covid or just fewer guests or a combination. The property is still in great shape - a couple minor maintenance issues; everything seemed very clean. I had requested a room away from the elevator and ours was directly outside of it, but noise was not an issue - other than the housekeeping staff in the hallway during the afternoon. The room also ended up being a handicapped suite - not sure why we were assigned that, but not a big deal. The 1-br suite is the perfect size for a couple. Good size bedroom and huge bathroom, lots of space for relaxing. Love the balcony! Mattress very comfortable, but pillows not so much. Since we were staying several nights, we could have used more drawers. Kitchen well-equipped. I made spa appointments, but was disappointed when they were cancelled because our county is allegedly in the "red" phase - unfortunately the state of VT has old data on its website.

Staff is friendly and mostly attentive. Rooms are comfortable. We were thrilled to have a normal shower head this year vs the supposed high efficiency version that was largely ineffective in allowing one to shampoo in a reasonable amount of time. Location close to lifts is great and we enjoy having ski valet. Restaurant prices quite high vs comparable high quality food at nearby restaurants.

Loved this resort! It is luxurious but family and pet friendly at the same time. It caters to serious skiers and novices alike. The food (where do they get those fabulous strawberries in March?) and amenities are excellent although the menu selections are a bit limited. However, special requests were gladly accommodated. I have two suggestions, please get fitted sheets for the beds and more comfortable rollaways. The bottom flat sheets pull out almost immediately, making a rumpled mess by morning, and the rollaway mattress feels like it is stuffed with hay (crunchy and lumpy).

We stayed here end of February. Beautiful lodge, but they need to do something about their food. It was overpriced and tasted terrible. The help was polite and very nice! The people in charge of Mercedes were rude and stuck up. For over $1500/night you'd think the gas fireplace would work! Not to mention the lock on the door leading out to the deck should lock, it was broken! They ran out of paper towels too. My son slept on the floor because two of their blow-up beds didn't hold air! For $1500- a night we all should have had a decent bed, but they were lumpy! Save your money!!!!!

Amazing!! Skiing here was great! They have great glades trails (tree trails) and lots of fun and challenging slopes! Not crowded at all when we went, the entire day we didn't wait in a single lift line, just got right onto the lifts. The Backcountry trail (aka the Bruce) is amazing, but only go here with someone who knows the area and if you are an expert skier. The lodge was amazing. If you get to use it, the Alpine club is unbelievable! Highly recommend!

lunch time was not crowded on 4/17 but lively.....only the troopers dined today big and small. I must say I had some good jalapenos in my steak bomb... be happy to forget my lunch again my next trip back in the late fall and tackle that bomb again!!

Great rooms and service. Everybody was consistently cheerful and helpful. They remembered our car and dog's name. The resort has walking trails, fire pits, nice places to relax, swim, and hot tub. It is a class ski resort adapted for all season use. The grounds and structures were well kept and looked like new.
