Rock climbing was fun, but limited. Service at Solstice was great, and food was amazing... when it finally arrived.
Rock climbing was fun, but limited. Service at Solstice was great, and food was amazing... when it finally arrived.
Here is a good vacation and leisure. The scenery is beautiful too.
The hotel is shabby and overpriced- Solstice was not good at all, food expensive and not any better than MacDonalds' or BurgerKing. Eat somewhere else. The waitress was great.
Pool was lovely- no housekeeping which was understandable. No valet parking, limited handicapped parking. Signage leaves a lot to be desired.
Great mountain to ski at! Wonderfully kept trails with excellent snow. They go all out with the winter wonderland!
Everything was amazing loved the hotel the fireplaces but the food wasn't very good for the price but everyone was very nice and will be back very soon
Given the Covid policies that are necessary to keep us and staff safe, our stay at the Lodge this September was still wonderful. There were not as many options for food and activities, but it was reasonable to expect. There was enough to keep us very happy for three days. And we never felt that we were not safe re: Covid 19 exposure. Bravo to the staff at Spruce Peak Lodge!!
The staff was great, the rooms were clean. The spa was amazing and we loved the swimming pool.
Google opinion rewards is a bad way to generate reviews
Stowe Mountain Lodge is a very nice hotel to stay at. Comfortable rooms combined with friendly and attentive staff have made for a very enjoyable stay.
Heaven in the mountains, with a heated pool and fireplaces in each room. So gorgeous.
Stayed at Stowe mountain lodge for two nights. It is a beautiful place with a great spa. We cannot wait to come back.
Beautifully appointed, nice rooms, Excellent staff!
Went to stowe for a zip line ride. Very fun, very fast. 150 feet up, almost 2 miles long, 53 mph and up. Also just very pretty.
Stowe Mountain Lodge was a nice place to stay if you just wanted to stay a few nights in Stowe. Theres a nice community spa, pool, and exercise room if that's something you're into. However, the wifi and signal in this area is really bad. Nonexistent really. So if you really just want a place to get away from technology and the city this is a good time. The lodge is also relatively close to many trails and restaurants.
The water tasted terrible, and the impossible burger was very overcooked. Might still rate a 3 star if the pricing wasnt also on the high side.
Great hotel. Right by the mountain with excellent amenities. Can be very pricey but great place for a relaxing stay.
Hey this place is not what is advertised. It's far from 5 star. Ok it's a very nice resort, nice location, nice place, nice outdoor pool. But when you pay almost 4 digits per night and the room is dirty, the sheets and shampoos and towels are very cheap and no quality at all, there is no lifeguard at the pool, there is no coffee offered at the lobby and when you ask were you can buy one it looks like a strange question, all the restaurants are overpriced, the housekeeping is not cleaning at all your room and you need to call to get some towels etc, they put chlorine in the hot tub without any notice for customers to avoid getting in, etc. When I pay 4digits per night- this is not acceptable!
Beautiful resort, absolutely loved it! Convenient to hiking and great service.
If you are rich and white perfect for you
But I didn't get stabbed
Very nice updates and free gondola at Stowe connecting both peaks!
The staff is uncaring and hostile. They don't really care for you as a person as long as you spend your money. DONT STAY HERE. support local hotels instead.
Stowe is a great mountain to go to whether you're an advanced rider or beginner. There's some pretty rad drops in the woods and the parks there are decent. However Stowe unfortunately will be bought by Vail which will bring my experence down to one star, do not attend Vail resorts unless you want to be overrun by rich snowboard hating snobs and toolbag lax players that think they rip. Stowe is sick but Vail is not so this resort will no longer be on my list of gnarly mountains:(
The spa at the lodge is fantastic with a huge range of treatments! The rooms are great - large with everything you'd need. The food at the lodge is a major letdown though.
Food was phenomenal. Really enjoyed the turkey burger. Great wait staff. Will go again
Loved this place. Everything was so warm and inviting. The people. The room. Loved it all.
Absolutely beautiful place. The rooms, the landscaping, the amenities, the shops - all great. Definitely not cheap, but well worth it.
Only popped in to see it on a ski trip, but seems nice.
Overpriced bar food, served in a fancy room. Good beer selection
My family enjoyed every aspect of what the mountain had to offer
Great place for a visit after skiing, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
Beautiful place, very lavish, tons of character around the grounds, awesome outdoor pool and hot tub, spa was tight, overall very relaxing experience. Pricey yes, but it seems like you just about get what you pay for.
Absolutely an amazing place! I can't say enough good about The Lodge! My wife and I stayed at the resort for a week before Christmas (2018), and we had an amazing time here. The accommodations are handsome, and the resort has plenty for you to do. Moreover, the atmosphere of the resort is PERFECT! Even the town of Stowe was fun and charming. This definitely a resort worth staying at!!! We are going back this year again in December!
Phenomenal, it's tough to describe how much fun one can pack into a day this place does it
The people were so helpful and nice , Brian at the skating rink is customer service at its fimest
We stayed here for the weekend, and had a great time. The kids really enjoyed the out door heated pool and hot tub. The restaurant was very good, although quite overpriced. The rooms were very nice and large. We didn't get to use the village area as it rained on our last day, but looked very nice.
Hotel is valet parking and the restaurant was great. Nice selection and good service.
The place is beautiful and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The trees were not at their peek but they were still fantastic! If you
want to feel pampered this is the place to visit.
I was here for a corporate event-prior to this I never have been in Vermont outside of the winter, but it is a beautiful, green, lush place. Stowe was a great place to stay to see this and also a nice place for our corporate retreat. My room was well furnished, clean, and comfortable.
The resort is gorgeous. My spa experience was especially spectacular. I received both a massage and facial from Jen who is truly incredible. I cannot say enough about how amazing she was. She customized a facial for my skin type and was so informative, kind, and made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be making another trip out to SML and will absolutely make an appointment with Jen again. I highly recommend!
The lodge is very beautiful. with loads to do besides the amazing skiing. didn't get to try the pool because it was cold/ not heating
Severely over priced. Beautiful scenery though. Service was marginal.
Off the chain in every way - views, service, amenities, food, PRICES.
The Spruce Camp bar is where we meet for lunch and drinks after skiing. The food is over priced. Like $10 for a cup of clam chowder.
We went to stowe mountain lodge during a ski trip over presidents day weekend. The skiing was great and the mountain is nice for the east coast. It was a little crowded and the shuttles were slow. They didn't seem prepared for the volume but presidents day weekend is very popular so my trip could have been an outlier.
Beautiful hotel, lovely lounges, real fireplaces. Carpet floor in the rooms though. Valet parking. Valet service for skis/snowboards. The most amazing thing about this hotel is that it is directly located on the ski slopes. Clean. Friendly staff. Can open the window/get to the balconi. Lovely outside pool that isnt very warm. Nice fitness center. I didnt have any phone service with neitherbAT&T nor verizon there. Theres free wifi in the hotel everywhere but its slow and spotty. Nice gym. Great bathroom but no shower head, just a tube spraying water. Those details are worse mentioning but overall, very lovely experience, will definitely repeat it!
I love this place. Great views of the slopes, and the heated outdoor pool with an ingress/ egress into the building so you don't freeze getting in or out. Nice rooms.
Staff is outstanding, accommodations are well priced and location is perfect for a mountain retreat during the summer!
Attended a work event. Food was great and the location and atmosphere was very fun.
Amazing views, very helpful and professional staff. An expensive place, but we'll worth it if you can afford it.
Total highway robbery, but you do get quite a lot in return. Great runs and really quality chalet food.
Lary, at the front desk is a true customer service and guest services professional. Attention to detail, and the ability that he was able to answer all of my questions before I even asked any of them is why I'm giving this this hotel 5 stars. The pool and hot tub are FABULOUS. You can come to the The Lodge any time of the year and have an amazing vacation! I much prefer coming to Stowe when there is not snow. As much as I love the sport of snowboarding, I really do no like the cold. My favorite part of the year is when the Mountain is just about to close and there is still tons of snow on the ground (doesn't happen every year) AKA spring riding. A special shout-out again to Larry at the front desk - Give this man a raise!!
Overall, there were many great things about our stay at Spruce Peak. The Spa staff was so friendly when ordering in room services and accommodations.
The hostess at Solstice was rude and short, but the server and food was great.
The room was ok. The bedding was thin, and not cozy at all. The pillows were terribly uncomfortable, the the tub made loud noises and would not keep water, so much for relaxing.
With the understanding the Covid stays are different, we had a nice time and the surrounding amenities were great. Make reservations everywhere in advance! The hotel itself was unfortunately a bit underwhelming for the price.
I eat and drink at the lodge very often. It's a great, cozy atmosphere with a definite 'lodge' feel to it. The bar is fantastic. They have drink specials and many winter cocktails. I wish it were in the other side of the road as it's tough to get to it ur skiing the main maintain.
Very bad experience.
1/ The first time I booked this hotel Free Cancellation and cancelled because my daughter wanted a bigger room. She did book a better room at the same hotel. They never processed the refund. Luckily I checked my credit card statement after about a month! When I called them, they did not even apologize.
2/ With the second booking, we arrived about late afternoon and at the check-in counter they told us that we have to be quarantined at home for 2 weeks before checking in the hotel. They had not sent any notices or given any warnings at all.
All other hotels in Vermont gave us clear instructions upon reservation but this one did not. Vermont is really beautiful and you don't need to stay in that humongous hotel to be able to enjoy the scenery. Smaller hotels and airbnb would be more quaint and have better services.
As mentioned in the survey it is a wonderful place, well located, but culturally cold, uncaring and seemingly unmanaged.
Has no daily newspapers available such as USA Today, WSJ and NYTimes.
Well-appointed suites, luxurious heated pool and spa (open til 10) , upscale lodge atmosphere, beautiful setting. Room service is astronomical and following GPS it's confusing to figure out where to park. There is some self parking available but the hotel is designed to be valet only so go past the spruce area and take the next right for the lobby.
Very pretty establishment with a warm and friendly staff. The security of the place is kind of concerning, though. It may just be a culture thing, but the place asks it's guests to trust the other guests a lot. I do not trust anyone, so this came as quite a challenge for me. I would like them to take security more seriously.
Beautiful place to go to relax I highly recommend going
This hotel is awesome. I have not stayed there yet but I have seen the facilities because my wife works there. It is the place to be in Stowe with the snow mountain that people travel from all over the country to experience. I look forward to spending a couple nights here.
Located at the base of Mount Mansfield. The Stowe mountain Lodge is one of the best places we stay. This is our second time here, the level of service will continue to bring us back.
Loved our stay at the Lodge! Will definitely be returning!
Friendly wait staff, multiple food options, comfortable seating, family oriented, beautiful views of the slopes. Our favorite spot after skiing!
My husband and I stayed the weekend for the foliage. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Smugglers notch was beautiful!! Updated and beautiful, had a full kitchen and fireplace. But the pillows were to flat. Elevators could have been a little faster and breakfast was ok. We ate at the Solstice for dinner at the chef's table, totally amazing!! Spa was great, had hot stone massage and enjoyed the hot tub. Shops never seemed to be open. Need more fire pits outside, the one was always busy. Our shower leaked on to the floor. Valet was fast and friendly. Our room 379 had the gondola right outside our balcony which was good and bad. Every morning a truck was backing in to somewhere and we heard constant beep, beep, beep. I still highly recommend Stowe, so breathe taking beautiful!!
This place has a great atmosphere, very busy, staff were attentive and coped really well with the volumes of guests
Great service, great location, and care and thought have went into keeping guests and staff safe during this time.
