I went to Stokes Honda today to test drive and Accord, and like the pros they are, they were able to put me in a great car! I always think I won t be able to make a purchase and they always find a way to make it happen.

A week ago my son made a huge and important decision about purchasing his very first vehicle. He knew what type of car he wanted. The only thing was that, he wasn't sure if he would get good quality customer service from a salesman. In other words, would they just feed him a bunch of BS just to sell a vehicle. We made our way to Stokes Honda North. What a great choice!! Right then we were greeted with respect and welcome. After a year of search we finally decided to go with a new Honda Odyssey. While looking for a car, a friend referred us to Mrs. Kathleen Reece one of the Stoke Honda's sales consultant. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have met Ms. Reece for many reasons to include, rather than trying to push a sale, she took her time and explained to us all we needed to know to make an educated decision on our purchase', her attention to details about the Honda Odyssey operation, how to register the vehicle, explaining the registration, financing, and the servicing of our vehicle, to name a few of the extra courtesies Mrs. Reece presented to us. And it was with this level of trust and confidence she gave to us which helped us decide on our 2019 Odyssey. After purchasing over 16 cars in the past 40 years, this was the first time that both my wife and I felt extremely satisfied with what we got as Ms. Reece had taught us all we need to know about the vehicle before we purchased it. Her attitude and response to our inquires were unmatched by others we had met before. We actually were very surprised with her level of knowledge about cars, especially with the Honda products. Her honesty was clearly evident by the fact that she did not make up anything , if she was not sure , she would go and get the correct answer for us. Bottom line, we will highly recommend her and Honda North to anyone we encounter who is planning to buy a car. Good Ole Fashion Southern Hospitality. Greatest parts and service in town. You know that you are in the right place when you see how busy they are. Sales staff helped show me where to get my car serviced rather than walk off and ignore me like what happened to me at other New Car Dealers when I said that I was not interested in a new car right now but I am looking for parts. Gentleman got up and walked me to the desk. Parts and service seemed very busy but that did not prevent the parts man and service lady from giving me 100% of their attention. 34 years in a business where I had a similar job dealing with the public, I know what pressure it can be trying to provide that level of service when business is busy as Stokes was, so I tend to disregard the negative comments, although few, for the most part. Some people are just never going to be happy. I saw that staff treat everyone just like I was treated. That doesn't just happen. It is the culture and atmosphere. I'm pretty sure those negative Nancys are never satisfied or feel like someone owes them something. I owe Stokes Honda for making me feel like I was the only customer there and it just plain old made my day!

I visited Stokes Honda on Saturday and I had the pleasure to work with Lonnell Banks! He was such a great salesman. He took the time to explain everything to me about trading in my car and answered all my questions and concerns. He was also extremely patient and kind ( being that I can be picky when it comes to car features and color). He took the time to show me all the colors that the car came in and features for each model. I got to test drive a few cars which is always fun!! They screwed a front license plate holder directly into my front bumper and did it crooked. I did not want that but can't take it off because I have two crooked open holes in my 2019 vehicle bumper. If I knew they screwed directly into the plastic I would not have bought this vehicle at this dealer. I didn't want holes or front license plate but it looks like I'm stuck with both. Disappointing.

Please by all means pay attention to the ratings here. We came to this dealership after talking to an "online sales rep" that said the car we were looking for had literally just rolled off the truck for delivery the day before. We arrive to no car.... (Strike one) So the salesman (who openly could care less about what we want which by the way is OUR CHOICE) tries to convince us in the most aggressive sales tactics imaginable that we want a different model (Strike two). Once we show that we will not be drug around the lot all night we go inside to talk to a "sales manager" with a flippant attitude that we will nickname Jamaica. He literally said he has no idea of what we were asking for, don't have what we are looking for, don't know when they would get it, wont cut any deals, and could care less about what we wanted. (STRIKE THREE) We LITERALLY walked out and bought a Honda at a competing Honda dealership THAT NIGHT!! SICKENING!! STRONG AGGRESSIVE SALES TACTICS. DON'T CARE THAT IT IS YOUR CHOICE. STAY AWAY!!
The sales was good no pressure. We were looking at a 2012 Jeep Compass. Before we went in we looked on the internet and saw what we wanted. We also knew we could afford it. I had looked at them and test drove one, so we knew what we wanted. That was good for us because I knew more about it than the salesman did. The buying process was good and easy. I had thought these guys were good and took care of their customers. I even told the salesman that we would be back to buy from them again. Well, I was wrong and will not buy from here again! If I could I would give them less of a rating in service if I could. This is where they lost me and sure loose most people. When we dropped it off for the detail it was dirtier when we picked it up than when we dropped it off. I also had a question to see if I could get a clip replaced for the molding on the front door(not expensive). after talking to sales manager and my sales person I have not heard anything from them. That has been around two weeks. When I talked to the manager it was like I was asking for a huge repair. Any way needless to say I will go to jeep for anything that is not covered by my warranty. I am sure they would want my business.

Beautiful waiting area. Good service (worked with Roberto. He's a good guy) but Dirty cars. I read a previous review that said they bought a dirty car. I'd call this a pattern and say that you should haggle a couple hundred dollars off so you can get your vehicle detailed.

oil pressure switch for 1995 honda civic, stokes quote was over $70 bucks, REALLY!!!!. Hendrix was $30. I had it shipped from Bell Honda in AZ for $24.95, including shipping to Charleston, S.C. Stokes is not a consideration for me EVER, and i own 2 Hondas.2 Camrys, and an altima.

When we left the house Saturday afternoon, we had a plan. We had a set monthly amount that we were not going to budge on. We were firm!!! By the time we left that evening, we had 2016 Honda Odyssey with all of the bells and whistles with only 65,000 miles on it. Did we go over our budget? OF COURSE WE DID! But it was worth it. The finance department worked with us until we were all winners. Our sales associate was tom, I think. I m horrible with names. We drove a few different vehicles but none satisfied like the odyssey did. If it weren t for the kids we would have gotten a pilot. Those were really nice. But didn t make sense for our needs. While we were in the back and forth portion of the ordeal, miss Jenkins, the customer service rep, came over and checked on us. She was really kind. Oh, final thought, bring change with you because the ATM portion of the snack machine is broken. My husband had to walk across the street to circle K to get our son a snack. We were there for a good 6-7 hours.

My husband and I visited Stokes Honda on rivers to trade in our lease we were a little skeptical about going back to Stokes after the unpleasant experience we had in 2017, we made the decision to try again. We worked with salesman Francis Sinsuat who was not only pleasant to deal with but had a wonderful personality and knew his cars. We were very pleased with the service he provided and he went above and beyond to help makes this visit a much better experience. I will definately be requesting him in the future. Kudos to Francis Sinsuat and his excellent customer service.
Quite possibly the worst customer experience I've ever had. If you want to feel devalued and disrespected please go to stokes Honda on rivers. Was ready and willing to spend my money there until they started to talking to me. I will go out of my way to never go there again and tell anyone that asks to avoid it like the plague.

Our sales lady, Katleen, was absolutely an amazing sales lady ,helping us with our purchase of our new Honda Passport. She stayed late with us showing us all the features to operate our technology on our new Honda Passport. Even told us at anytime we needed her to call her anytime to help us.
