They are very friendly and anytime I have had a issue with my car the service dept. and manager has always done everything possible to help me. They have a nice waiting area, a shuttle driver to take you and pick you up while waiting for car service. They have workshops that are fun and knowledgeable that I love attending. I have always recommended Stokes Honda to anyone that I know is looking to buy.

I had a horrible experience! I was so angry with how I was treated that I walked back in that store to give them a piece of my mind! Then this well dressed man walks up to me and says, Sir, that s not right nor fair, I will do whatever I can in my power to help assist. I don t want to sell you anything I just want us to be friends and maybe we can start fresh and regain your business. I wasn t expecting that. From anyone! He took time away from his busy day to take care of me! So my wife and I bought a new Honda Accord from Donte Barr. I can t explain how much it meant to my wife that someone stopped and cared! Donte you don t sell cars you heal hearts and make bad experiences great! Thanks!

Avoid at all costs! Went in for a test drive to see if we might want to switch from our Nissan Quest to an Odyssey. The sales people were nice at first but quickly started to turn on the pressure. We tried to leave several times, every time they would get in between us and the door. They promised us the moon- the best price a warranty that covered everything. Now one year later we have a faulty entertainment system, out of date navigation, a radio that asks for a code every other day and now the starter went bad; NONE of which is covered by their magical warranty we are paying thru the nose for. I'm sure this vehicle is going to be trash long before I ever pay it off. All because we wanted to take a test drive! Never again will I step foot there and do not recommend them to anyone. Very high pressure and LOTS of lies- they'll tell you anything to get you to buy one of their prices of junk.

Katheleen is one of the sales reps that helped me the entire time I was there and showed the best customer service I have seen in the car business! KUDOS TO HER! Sales team is great, as you would expect -- but as soon as you drive off the lot you can expect much less! Service department doesn't meet deadlines, doesn't reach out to customers to inform of issues, gives incorrect updates regarding the readiness of your vehicle. In our case, the used vehicle i bought from them needed maintenance the week after I bought it... It was sent across the street for service (Dodge dealer) and when I called for a status update no one could even locate my vehicle for hours! They had my vehicle for 3 of the first 4 weeks I owned it. Terrible! Just hoping I have no more issues requiring their service department.

*** UPDATE: Even after the wonderful reply below from a seemingly caring staff member, NO ONE has ever contacted me in any way. Now we are dealing with a bad alternator on a vehicle we've only owned for 8 months and I don't know whether to go to a private mechanic or tempt fate with the dealer again. Nightmare.

My wife and I went in to look at a civic. The sales person was really nice and described features of the car and took us inside to discuss numbers. Immediately we were handed to a guy who I'm not sure if he was a sales manager or what but the whole conversation lasted maybe 10 minutes. The first price was over what the online price said by thousands to which I said no. He came back with a price still pretty High to which I asked where the numbers were coming from and how it broke down to a monthly payment. At that point he told me he wasnt sure what APR they offered... "maybe 1.9% maybe 2.9, I'm really not sure". I got no answer on a monthly payment and so I had to pull out my phone and calculate it myself. I told him the number was way high and he told me to have a good day. He never took my number and I never got a card. We left and bought the same car for the monthly payment I told the guy while at stokes that I wanted immediately after.

A1 Maintenance due. Oil change and tire rotation needed only. They added nearly $40 additional for oil and fuel conditioners when Honda recommends no additives for fuel or oil. Drove 3 miles in 2018 Civic and low tire light comes on...

Was extremely offended by a service rep handing me a $500 estimate for 30k mile maintenance. I brought my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation. I was insulted that he would hand me a ridiculous estimate when I did not ask. He refused to take the paper back. The secretary was near by and handed it to her because is did not want. She was ABSOLUTELY rude. She said "why are you handing this to me. You need to take this to service." Your maintenance is a scam and you are trying to take advantage of women. I will not be back.
***also to note, after posting this I decided not to have my car serviced here. I waited over an hour and my car was still sitting on the lot. Additionally, I also remembered on my first trip, I had a flat tire. I was also lied to and told it could be patched. I was also told I needed to replace the tire because it could not be patched. Amazingly, Gerald's patched the tire for free. 32k miles later I still have the same tire. I do not know why I went back, after that experience. Fortunately, there is a Gerald's in mount pleasant that does oil changes - will be going there from now on.

My experience was awesome!!! Alvin Stevens is the best car sales rep I know!!! He helped me pick out the best car that was comfortable and suitable for my family. You can never go wrong with a Military man. He was very courteous, well spoken, and very knowledgeable. He also gave me a great deal on my honda. Oh man oh man. Was it a great deal. I don't like car dealerships, but I'll go to Stokes Honda North because of him. He is a blessing in disguise.

Took forever to appraise my car than offered me 6000 below trade in value. Once I got them to trade in value they added 1200 the car I was looking to purchase! There service center is also garbage, oil change appointments take 2 hours...would not recommend, there is no way they should have this many positive reviews unless Russian bots doing it...

I was in the market for an Accord Hydrid and found one that checked all the boxes at Stokes. After a phone call, Matthew W. began helping me make this one of the most pleasant and easy car transactions I have ever done. The following week I was scheduled to bring the car in to have it outfitted with leather, Matt was able to put me on a rental, gather all my thing out of my car, then place it all in the rental.

I will always use and recommend Stokes, specifically Matt for anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. This man even assisted me on his off days.

In and out in less than 3 hours from start to finish. If you ever bought a new car... You know that's quick. My 3rd purchase from here and the experience was the same.

At the time, there were only 2 to choose from, but Jibran thought of a third that was available elsewhere and made some phone calls. That vehicle fit the bill perfectly.

Wife and I have both had Honda/Acura autos for 15 years and were ATTEMPTING to replace her end of lease Honda with the purchase of a new one.

Absolutely a terrible experience. Had an appointment with a sales rep and was told that he was off that day.....although he actually was there and his sales manager just didn't know his name! The exact name that was on the salesperson's business card. Yes... the business card was the one with the Honda logo.

Handed us off to someone who evidently was one of the sales managers favorites. Told him what we were looking for ... and the salesperson said he only had one in stock and it was sold. Really? The next morning a different sales person called to follow up on an internet inquiry from a week earlier and told us she had eleven in stock.

Avoid this place and find another dealer that understands the concept of customer service while attempting to separate you from your $30k.

UPDATE: Ten days later..... no call from the GM. Does anyone think the "owner" is actually the owner as opposed to someone hired to just cut and paste the same canned responses? Does not reflect well on them.

Francis was amazing, patient, and very helpful. He didn't just want to make a sale; he wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. He spent 5 hours of his time just to make sure everything was just about perfect for me. Paul helped with all the financial aspects of it and took the time to explain everything since it's was my first time owning a car. The only problem was the out-of-state registration process which took a lot longer than expected, but it did get done and they took care of everything. Thank you again!

I'd like to rate the salesmen and MOST financial managers as 5 star!! We have purchased two vehicles (including this one) and have had great experiences both times. Unfortunately, on the second car we encountered an employee who made the process very stressful. My son is in the service and saw the car he wanted. We were happy because we knew that Stokes vehicles are of great quality and this car was no exception. We arranged financing prior to going to test drive the vehicle (my son is stationed in a different state) to try and make the process as smooth as possible. We drove the car, and as we thought, exceptional quality especially for a used car. This is where the problem began - we were approached by Erica one of the Financial Managers and she asked if she could try and beat the rates of our previously arranged finance agreement with another lender. Of course we said sure! We were not trading in a vehicle or putting any money down. After about an hour Erica told us that she could beat the rate by 1% but we needed to put money down. We said that we would pass, we were fine working with USAA as the financer. She asked if we would like to use a credit card to make a down payment and we said no, that is not going to happen. We went around with her for another 45-60 minutes and she finally said she could do the deal at the rate she said without the down payment. We contacted our insurance and left that night with the car and a temporary tag. We took the car to our son and got his signature on all the paperwork and returned it to Erica a week later (as she had instructed us to do. My husband had cosigned due to my son's age and he had signed everything that night). Fast forward a month later - we had noticed on the paperwork that the first payment was due on November 11th so we called Erica because we had not heard from her yet who the lienholder would be. She asked for a credit card number to make the first payment so we didn't go into default and against my best judgment I gave it to her. Two more weeks go by, no payment has been processed and no tags have been received. We call Erica again and speak to her and another gentleman about our concerns that the tag would be expiring the following week and we still had no information on the car. She assured us she would overnight a new temporary plate to my son so that his vehicle would be legal on base. A week goes by and he still has not received it so I call again. Now I am very concerned because we are 45 days out, we have no lienholder information nor any legal tag documentation. I spoke to Dan (who was very nice) who informed us that they cannot legally issue another temporary plate and we could just wait for the regular plates to come him. Again, unfortunately, no one can tell us when that will happen and who the lienholder is. Remember, we had financing arranged when we arrived on the lot for twice the amount of the car purchase price, ERICA was the one who pushed us to go through her. Our plate expires this evening and as of tomorrow my son will be driving a car illegally if he drives it. This is not acceptable on a military base and we have tried to stress this to Erica multiple times over the past 45 days. She continues to disregard us as customers, make promises she cannot keep and will not give us the requested information on who is actually financing this vehicle! All she ever requests is a credit card number. I do hope that Stokes handles this situation appropriately because before October 14th of this year I would not have purchased another car from any other Honda dealer but now I would definitely consider going elsewhere as would my family.

Okay, I was going to leave a not so nice re-review but Jennifer at Stokes has changed that!! I wish the "finance manager" we used was as great as Jennifer and JJ (our salesman)! Thank you Jennifer for clarifying the tax bill we received, it was very frustrating but after two minutes with you it makes perfect sense :)

She only had a short time of knowing about the Ridgeline but you couldn't tell. When the manager can't justify why their kelly blue book fair condition value is lower than what I pull up on my phone, 4 grand less might I add, there is a problem. When asked why their number was coming out significantly lower than what I was getting the manager simply responded "I don't know". It seems the employees at Stokes aren't sure how to do their job. If you can't answer simple sales questions as a SALESMAN you should probably find a new job. Definitely won't be recommending this dealership to any friends/family looking to buy a vehicle.

Some Terrible and Dishonest Sales people. My wife went in to Test drive a car and check Trade in prices for her car. Sales man Justin and "Q" would not give my wife her keys back and instructed her to "buy the car without your husband knowing and ask for forgiveness later" and treated my wife like was not educated in cars. My wife talked directly to the GM Mr. Westbury. Who said Justin is a "stand-up" guy and was confused as to how my wife was offended. Needless to say I'll take my business elsewhere.

Since I can't respond to your response. I think I'll take my wife's word over yours. Since you were not present in the room with her. You are right I am out of town deployed to Afghanistan.When Justin told my wife "He is 3 days away, So you can get this now. and he won't know" and "Q" stating to Justin "The husband is the problem preventing this sale". But I just wonder if you would be okay and stand up for someone who did that to your spouse, if you are married and I hope that you would.
