I've been skiing here for 30 years. And for those 30 years, if they had night skiing, Big Chief would be lit up and running. Now that Vail has bought our precious little commodity, they have decided it is in the best interest of the stock holders to only light up Chief on Friday and Saturday nights. This is an absolute outrage, and I can only hope and pray that it is not permanent. Some have said it was due to "staffing issues". Well, maybe if they didn't replace the automated turnstiles that used to reside at the chairlifts and replace them with employees scanning our badges like they did in the 80s, there might not be the "staffing issue" that is basically making me lose my s****. Night skiing is awesome. Don't screw it up.

Went up there for my birthday on January 11 and had the worst snowboarding experience of my life. Prepaid for my ticket the night before ($100) got to the mountain and was told all parking lots were full and to come back at 3pm. I visibly saw a person leaving so a spot opened up and the lot worker told me he can t let me park there and told me to come back at 3. Ended up loosing half my day of snowboarding because all the lots were full and then when I asked for a partial refund or a some sort of compensation they completely blew me off at the booth and at customer service and told me that I ll still have plenty of time to ride because they close at 10. Ok thanks Stevens Pass.

Got our snowboarding lessons here and they were great. We went there during the MLK weekend and as expected it was packed and we had to go really early to get parking. But we enjoyed it to the max and the instructors were amazing.

This is where I learned to ride. Stevens has a great vibe, awesome people, and some amazing runs. Many hours spent enjoying the backside of this mountain. Night skiing here best way to spend a Friday night in my opinion. Traffic and parking can be tough on a powder day, best advice is leave early or come after noon.

As friendly as always. The day crew at the Outer Limits on Saturday had got to be the best hands down. Stevens employees don't jump your butt about the little things. Which is always nice after you've been driving for 4 hours and just want to have fun. Love this place

Steven's is great. Well worth the drive. Lots of intermediate runs. Great terrain park. Not a super fancy resort, but has everything you need. I bring lunch, and avoid the lunch rush altogether. This is the first year since being acquired, and they're running on new system. No Gates, but personal touch with employees scanning you. I linked my credit card to my epic pass. It works at all the food locations. To add ski check to your local plus+ pass, it's $45, and you have to wait in the office line. My favorite local ski hill

I love Stevens! I love coming out for night skiing on the weeknights. The have fantastic lighting and the terrain is great. My favorite run is Orion and Pegasus on the back side. I look forward to making visiting stevens a family tradition.

Only downside here is the crowds; traffic, lodge capacity, and parking sometimes get super packed. Otherwise a spectacular mountain, various terrain for all skill levels, amazing ever-evolving park(s), plenty of groomed and tree runs and bowls to explore. Proud to call Stevens my home mountain!

Best ski area on western side of Cascades! Expensive if you pay for everything there. Suggest bringing lunch and snacks. Buy epic passes if possible.
Summer downhill biking is a blast but again, pretty expensive. Fun thing to do once every summer.
Nice hiking trails (watch out for bike crossing).

Loved the place. We took a beginners course and I must day that the instructors were really good. I was struggling to learn, so one of them spent time with me to get me comfortable with Skiing . If you are a first timer, I would recommend Taking the lessons.

No close amenities. No hotels closer than 45 mins. Use air bnb for a cabin locally if you're coming from afar. 1200 feet of vertical but some gnarly inbounds terrain off the front side wide Katz and upper rock garden chutes. Worth it if you're either super beginner or extremely good.

Stevens Pass is one of the best resorts in Washington. The snow is deep, the weather usually colder than Snoqualmie or Baker & the amenities are great. Only draw back, and this is not trivial is the parking runs out & leaves one with almost no options. So either get there before 830/45am for a good parking spot, or show up around 1pm on days where there's night skiing as the early birds start to knock off for the day to find their parking spots.

Super place, we found this wonderful place by chance while finding restroom. And then spent there for half a day. It my first experience to ski. But after trying at the practice line, my son and myself start to play in the main line. So fun! The staff are also super nice too! Should spend more time here! Will revisit if possible.

Great ski conditions for all levels. Good ammenities. Reasonable selection of food in cafeteria and small store. No wifi anywhere up there. Very little parking, so get in early. Buy your passes online and save money/time.

Love the vibe at Stevens, the best ski resort in Seattle area. They have electrical car charging stations, which they need more of, at this point, not to mention fixing vandalized one. Regardless, 5 star day trip skiing, or night skiing after work.

3rd day here and I'm starting to regret my purchas...

3rd day here and I'm starting to regret my purchase of their season pass. I'm not sure how they can charge the prices they do for the mediocre operation they run here. Similar prices get you access to true world class resorts around the globe.

1. Parking lots are small, limited access, and if you aren't one of the first 50 cars or so, you are probably hiking up an awkward hill to the lodge.

2. Base lodge area is on a hill with enough slope to make maneuvering between the base facilities very awkward and tiresome.

3. Limited seating. They actually restrict most of the seating to only current customers of the tiny dining hall. The lunch burger was good, but the breakfast burrito was absolutely disgusting. I've ordered coffees on the 1st floor a few times. I always pay by card because I don't want loose change while on the slopes. Once the girl rolled her eyes when I pulled out my card. Another time, it was not busy but I had to wait over 10 minutes for a latte, because the girls were busy chatting. Then various drinks just sat on the counter without them announcing the orders. There was confusion to my order because the cup was not labeled and had the wrong size. How hard is it to confirm the drink you throw on the counter when people are waiting?

4. Entered the double lift near the clock tower. Multiple lifties working near the gate. I enter, approach the load sign, chair swings around, I sit on it. At that very moment there was no liftie precisely next to the chair loading. A lift is a lift right? You sit on it. An older man runs out of the cabin as soon as I sit down screaming at me, "You sit on the RIGHT SIDE!!!" with clear anger and agitation in his voice. Here I am already 10 feet above the ground, on the left side, with a bar in the middle preventing me from doing so. I am all for following rules. But clearly there is a lack of desire to be bothered to man the station properly, put up a gate marking the load area clearly, or at the very least, put up a sign informing guests of how they would like singles to sit on this particular lift. It was disgusting behavior and a HUGE turnoff. Not exactly how I want to start my day here. I did not pay all this money and drive over here to be yelled at or antogonized by angry staffers.

Somehow Stevens wants to sell themselves as a luxury resort. Maybe they should visit some actual resorts to see the actual level of services and hospitality that is provided.

5. On a positive note, the terrain park is actually given a decent amount of space to setup some nice flow. Counted maybe six small to 5 meter kickers. It is definitely a fun and thoughtfully laid out park.

6. If there is fresh snow, the tree areas on the backside are very fun.

7. As for the rest of the inner resort groomers, it is what it is. Not impressed with the acreage but it seems well groomed and can't really complain.

8. The bathrooms while not sloppy, are narrow and cramped. Mix that with everyone in snow gear and it's yea, not where you want to be. Also no ventilation going on in there, so imagine what that smells like.
