I've never seen him wear the cheesy blue shirt, but Chris truly is a helpful Honda guy. This last visit was our third time to see him because it's always been quick and easy. Chris goes above and beyond to help you out, even if that means answering 20 questions over email or driving you to the off-site lot because you want that particular blue CR-V. He'll even do research for your mother-in-law who is planning to buy a Honda in a different side of the country. He understands that you've already done your research and never pushes an upsell. As a person who has no patience for salespeople, I have always been pleased when working with Chris at Honda of SC. I'll be back to see him when my lease is up!

I scheduled a maintenance appointment for an oil change. I came in earlier than my scheduled time and service advisor, Bobby Chuong Nguyen still accommodated me. He quickly pulled up my lease information for my 2015 Honda Civic, which I am fully covered for a 2 year oil and filter change at no cost. I waited at the dealership in their waiting room, was comfortable and was treated with complimentary refreshments. Service was quick, when done Bobby explained what was done to my civic. I was out in an hour. Overall, excellent experience at Honda of Stevens Creek.

I have also brought the car to their Service department for oil changes and other regular maintenance. The advisors have all been friendly and helpful, and the work is taken care of promptly. Pretty straightforward dealership experience. I worked with Koroosh to purchase a car and he was a mellow, kind, stand up guy. I would recommend him again. Asides from sales pressure on the extended warranty and extra alarm stuff from another sales employee, it was a very comfortable experience. The price negotiated was fair and I am very pleased with the result.

Actually,I don't use to write review for a dealership but I have to say... is very very very disappointing on the service.
I came here to do my regular maintenance. There was no problem i did here last time.But this time, after the maintenance, the car was even WORSE. Before I doing maintenance, I told the service advisor that my car computer often lost connection with the mobile phone, and then the battery seems that there is a problem. But after the maintenance, the problem come out more and more. After the third day of maintenance, the tire pressure light suddenly lights up. When I come back, the service staff directly presses the tire pressure light without saying anything. And few days after the battery is dead. I need to call AAA support to help me start my car, I come back here to check, the technician use the machine to check and says your battery is ok, but the battery is dead when I have not touch or change thing in my car. I said can you check it for me? As a result, the advisor said that many cars today can you come back next week?
GREAT! If you have problems with my car, are you responsible for it? Oh man, the car battery was daed again yesterday, so I came back again. Yes, the freaking maintenance is made me come back third time in less than a month. It seems that I don't have to work? I'm looks very leisurely and nothing to do? Then the advisor are ignorant, just take an envelope and ask me to write the car in the end what is the problem, said that the next day will help you check, God! If I know it do I need to coming to check my car? Ok, I write the problem as i can and put my key inside the envelope.Then take a Uber to go home. I didn t receive any call for dealer this morning, so I came here again. I hate this place. The staff s face is stinky and no one cares about you. I asked a few people and finally said that I haven t checked it yet, how damn I am ! I should have found a SUCK car dealer to maintain my car. It s true that a regular maintenance cost me almost five hundred. Of course, I have to let them take responsibility for it. Even I have to wasting my 3 whole days!
I will definitely never come here again, and I advise those who want to come here to buy a car or to do to maintenance, you guys have to think about it carefully.

My car battery was acting erratically and the service team got to the bottom of it. They could have written it off when I brought it in working but they dug further to find the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I am VERY grateful for their detailed care and handling of the situation

I went for my first oil change of my Honda Civic 2017. My service was completed ahead of schedule and the process of dropping off and picking up was quick and easy. Juan is an awesome guy, he explained me the work done on my car in detail. I wanted to get synthetic oil for my car however he said not required for Civic as those are expensive and it wont make a lot of difference. Saved few bucks there. Thanks Juan. NOT going to Honda of Stevens Creek EVER again a very very bad experience

I had a routine service due on my Honda Accord. Oil Change.
Sales person try to offer me other things as well because he wants to achieve his sales targets . i refused all other part which not helpful for my car me, an after 2 hours he callled my husband and informed about the replacement of Breaking pad , wheel alignment etc etc. My husband
asked only for break pad replacement. When asked about the total cost, was told cost only for parts and not labour which turned out to be more that $300 which is INSANE!!!!!
Had I was informed about Labour Cost before, I would have asked not to replace. because in south bay area honda dealership they always informed to us about all in details about charges

As a customer I expect Transparency in pricing. As I checked Breaking Pads on Honda Original Part is only $45 + some tax and they charge me $70 + Tax +$450 labour charges . i checked with other South bay Honda dealership they charge only $150-$200 labaor cost. Now what's the difference between in *Original* Honda product?

The folks at Stevens Creek Honda were very attentive from the time I arrived to have my car worked on. They signed my car in. They immediately had a shuddle ready to run me down the street to pick up a rental. They called mid-afternoon that my car was ready. I returned the rental to Enterprise who then drove me back to Honda of Stevens Creek. Because part of the work they were doing was a recall there was no charge for the rental.
Was very happy everything went so smoothly.

Terrible customer service in the service department. After dropping the car off at 8:45am, Jeff called me around 12:45pm and left a message about some work the tech wanted to do. I called back 15 min later but he wasn't available and they said he would call me soon. Subsequent calls to Jeff went unanswered. Three hours later someone different calls me back but couldn't answer my questions about the work that needed to be done and said he would talk to the tech and call back in 10-15 minutes. He never called back, but by that time it was too late to do any of the work needed on my car without leaving it overnight anyway, so some of the work that I would have wanted to have done couldn't be done. An hour later (past 5pm now) somebody entirely different called and said my car was ready for pickup. He had no idea about anything that happened previous or about the work that was done or needed to be done with the car. In the end even though my car had been there all day I had to pick it up with problems still remaining and will need to take it in for another day. Definitely won't be going back to this shop though.

Brought my CR-V in for normal servicing last week. I booked a time online the day before quickly and easily. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and then talked with my service advisor, Luis. He covered the details about what would happen, and how long it would take. He offered shuttle service somewhere (which I declined, since I was going to wait for the service to be completed).

I ran an errand while waiting and then spent the last part of my wait in the Honda waiting area which provided power for my laptop and free WiFi and coffee. Everything was completed as expected and I left on time. Would highly recommend.

After my huge disappointment with the service at the place where I bought my car, I looked around on the web and found this place Honda of Stevens Creek of San Jose. I gave it a try and haven't looked back since. That was over a year ago.
The service people are polite but not in a sleazy way. They are cool. They communicate very well, explain every issue to the detail and give you options. I am sooo not car-smart but they never talk down to me. I feel comfortable here and I do not dread going to my car service appointment as I used to with the previous place.
Now, I do with they had bigger waiting area with more seating - it gets full sometimes because people bring their kids and other family members. But, it is not related to the service, therefore I did not remove a star:)

We asked to have it checked but we also asked that a standard service be done; oil change, rotate the tires, etc. When they called about the light they said it was a faulty gas cap which they replaced. When I picked up the car at 5pm the service person I had talked to was not around, they had not done any of the other items requested. It was way too late to have them done at that time. I paid nearly $200 for a gas cap! I will not be taking my car back to them. They also offer drop off service but no pick-up service. Every other dealer I have ever dealt with offers both. Poor service, lack of attention to detail, and no value for the money.

Car buying is stressful but with Stevens Creek Honda offered both the best internet and on-site pricing without the same high pressure sales tactics I had to sit through in the past. The large waiting area and clean facilities is a must because it takes a long time to buy a car. The large inventory also meant I did not have to buy the model/color that I did not want. Third car purchased from Stevens Creek Honda in over 15 years (includes family and friends).

I just purchased a new vehicle from this dealership. I inquired about the car online and quickly received an e quote (from an actual person, not a bot)! The sales manager I worked with throughout the entire process, Brian Plowman, was knowledgeable, friendly, communicative, and best of all, didn t feel like a car salesman ! He was transparent with the pricing, the trade in appraisal process, and listened to the reasons as to why I was in the market for a new car in the first place. I was given as much time as I needed to make my decision and didn t feel pressured to jump into a purchase. The dealership itself is well kept and has many amenities including a TV, coffee, snacks, and quiet work areas with plugs. As for the the vehicle, I m loving my Honda so far and would gladly recommend this dealership and particular sales manager to anyone in the market.

My wife and I recently bought a 2017 Accord V6 Touring from Stevens Creek Honda. Phil Ha, our salesperson, actually made the process a pleasure. Rather than sitting around the dealership half the day, he expeditiously found the car we wanted, got the deal in place, and with with finance to have all the paperwork lined up and ready for signature. The process was fast, the car is great, and Phil is a fantastic salesperson.

Thank you to Johnny and his team for assisting me with my car. I originally took it to another Honda dealer however, there was still issues with it. Johnny and his team took my car when the service department was closed given my car situation. As well, Johnny took time out his day off to make sure I knew what was going on with my car during servicing and talked about all the work that needed to be done and which could hold off for a later time. I had never received a call from a member of Honda on their days off. Honda of Stevens Creek blew my mind on how well they take care of their customers. Of all the Honda dealers around San Jose I have to say Stevens creek is the place to go! Thank you Johnny and Honda of Stevens Creek!!! We will be back for future Honda services!

Let me explain why I won't give more than 3 stars...

The only reason I came here was to have 2 recalls on my '15 Odyssey fixed/addressed. But I rarely go to any dealer for regular service on my vehicles. I've found they usually charge more and will convince you certain things need to be done ASAP to sign you up for more work = more $$. I service my vehicles regularly at another business that's been doing all the work on my Hondas/Acuras for the last 20+ years. I trust them, they are honest, and have never done me wrong. I also go to a trusted tire guy who just does tires/brakes.

So on this occasion, Honda of SC took care of the recalls, but they also ran a 'multi-point inspection' (that I didn't ask for). Then they reported to me that I urgently needed to change my front tires, and that my rear tires would need changing soon too. Moreover, they reported the same exact tread measurements on both rear tires. I just replaced the left rear tire after a flat a few mos ago. There's no way that nearly brand new tire has the same tread measurement as the other rear tire, which was one of the originals from when we bought the car new (15k miles on the car). Wondering if someone really did inspect my tires...??

I literally drove out of the Honda parking lot straight over to my tire guy and asked him to inspect my tires and tell me what kind of life they have left. He told me, yes, my front tires are getting worn but not to panic... then he asked me what kind of driving I normally do with the car and what driving plans I had for the next few months. Based on that, he said my tires will be good through the summer but then I should come in and replace them.

Settled my nerves ... this is why I don't go to dealers for service on my cars.

He followed up with me and let me know what was the status of my car and what was going on. On top of him the service manager Rick was so accommodating to me and helped me beyond with my car. They provide amazing service and excellent customer service. I highly recommend Honda ok Steven's creek. I have been going there for service since I bought my car there and I wont be going anywhere else for service on my car!

I always have a good experience at the service center here. They take really good care of your car and offer honest feedback on what tune ups, etc your car needs and which ones aren't necessary. Just make sure to get there early if you don't have an appointment; otherwise you'll be in for a long wait!

We've purchased our last four Hondas at Stevens Creek Honda. The people and service were friendly, honest and efficient. It's hard to believe the criticisms since our experience has been just the opposite. Here is one example...one hot summer the air conditioning died. When we took the car in, they said either it would be $1500 or nothing, depending on the problem. If it had blown up, we'd have to pay. When I went to pick it up, it HAD blown up...but, there was no charge. Great! Another extreme example was a freak circumstance when the car had been outside all night during a terrific rain storm.
Water had gotten into the sliding door mechanism and it wouldn't shut. After taking it in, we learned it cost about $5000 to repair the motors. Yet once again, we didn't pay a dime. I'm sure some dealers could have found a way to charge us. So, S.C.Honda couldn't have been a better place for us.

All personnel, cashier, service advisors, service dept mechanics and personnel that greet you when you arrive and bring your vehicle to you when done, reflect the dealership's goal of providing complete customer satisfaction. We were first time customers and brought our vehicle in for a recall. Our service advisor Thomas Wakayama was nothing but rude. There were several bad things that he did, but the worst came at the end. He wouldn't explain anything on the several invoices that he wanted me to sign, and he didn't like that I wanted to read them before signing. One had a clause in it that authorized them to contact me for other things. I didn't want that, so wanted him to remove it before I signed. I signed the other two that were the actual work orders and necessary for release of the mechanic's lien. He refused, and said that he wouldn't give back my car if I wouldn't sign this unrelated document as it was. So I requested to speak with the service manager. Thomas wouldn't arrange it, so I found the manager myself. His name is Jim Duffer. Jim wasn't much better than Thomas. He was apologetic for Thomas and gave the cliche response that what we were saying was so unlike Thomas, but he didn't seem sincere. In fact, his behavior seemed like he thought we were ridiculous. After we left, we realized they didn't give us back the key to our car. (Thomas followed through with his threat to keep my car!) So we called ahead and spoke with Jim. Jim wouldn't arrange to return it to us. Why not? It was entirely their fault. Why should we incur the expense of driving there to get it? He forced us to drive another 30 mile round trip to retrieve it. Jim made nothing but excuses, and after he handed me the key I said: "See. This is the poor service we complained to you about." In response he said, and I quote! "This is good service". "Good service? Not returning my key is good service?" I asked. He said yes, that bad service was how they had seven cars stolen from them. Seven? How can anyone be so negligent with someone else's cars?

So I STONGLY advise you to avoid the service department of Honda of Stevens Creek. They don't respect you or your car, they will likely threaten to keep your car illegally, and they are simply unpleasant people. Stay away!

Brought my vehicle in for some electrical issues that resulted in the battery dying. Paid $160 to have the vehicle diagnosed, which to me would mean identifying the problem. They said they identified the issue and told me how much it would cost another $800 to fix, which I said OK to. Vehicle was returned to me a few days later and the battery died in a matter of hours, faster than when I had brought it in before, indicating to me that they did not fix the issue, it was in fact worse. I brought it back in and they kept it for over a week with very poor communication on updates as to what they were accomplishing. I had to call over 5 times to the Honda dealer and then redirected to service since I was not provided a direct number and each time was placed on hold and dropped or passed to someone who did not know what was going on. Finally told them they need to get someone to call me back as I was not going to keep trying and getting run around. Someone then called me and said my vehicle was ready. I rode my bike in only to find out that it was not ready and they wanted 3 more days. Basically they had taken some stuff apart and put it back together and while they could not identify any issue or any fix that they implemented, they thought the car worked but was just waiting for the battery to die. After a few days they said the car was "ready." They could not claim it was actually "fixed" since they never identified the issue and could provide no real guarantee that it wouldn't happen again. I asked to discuss charges since I felt like what I actually paid for (diagnosing and the supposed fix), I never really got. The car did work, so worth something I suppose, but I was not happy with the full charge when there's no real comfort my wife or kid could take that car anywhere reliably. Took this to Honda even though they wanted to charge me over $100 to replace wiper blades because I figured they knew their own cars best. But ultimately was a total disappointment. Would not take my car here or buy a Honda...why would I? Buy Toyota. Got a Tacoma that's got 100K more miles and is 10 years older but would trust any day over this car.
