We had a great experience buying our X3 at Faulkner BMW in Lancaster. Our client representative Bret Sassaman was very kind and patient. During our test drive he seemed to know everything about the car. There were many nice touches that made the experience special, such as presenting the temporary registration to us in a leather folder embossed with the BMW logo rather than giving it to us in a plain white envelope. I would recommend Faulkner to anyone contemplating a BMW, but be careful. If you drive one, you are going to want to own it.

Bret and Vivek were awesome. Although I live in York, I went out of my way to purchase my vehicle from Faulkner BMW based on the great things that I had heard about them. My experience was excellent. They were very patient and assisting when it came to answering my questions and helping me find a vehicle that was right for me. Not to mention the awesome deal they pt together for me. Really appreciate the laid-back approach here. After I viewed my car the first time, my husband and I went to a different Faulkner dealership to look at one more car. The salesman was so aggressive, he stood in the way of us closing our car doors to try and persuade us until we actually had to tell him directly to let us leave. We finally left and I told my husband to drive straight back to Faulkner BMW so that I could buy my Miata and never have to deal with a salesman like that again. So a big thanks to Jonathan for not pushing my buttons! Oh and the car is fantastic too!

Nice place but service is overpriced (like any dealer of course) however that alone is not enough for a 3 star review. Also I did have a good experience with a salesperson when checking out a car, my main issue is with the service department.

I had a recall done early this year and they did the recall and inspected the car in 30 minutes. One item they wanted to be replaced after that short inspection they wanted over $2,000 for...

A year later, having never replaced it, I go back for another recall and their inspection came back with nothing on that item that supposedly should have been replaced a year ago...

If it needed to be replaced a year ago and it was never replaced why is it no longer an issue? $2,000 is quite a lot of money for something that didn't need to be replaced after-all...

I would be sure something actually needs to be replaced before paying $2,000 for it to be done here. And get a quote from somewhere else first...

I always get my car back in a timely manner. Brandon Gentile always replies to my emails quickly and is very attentive when I bring my car in listening to all I have to say and makes suggestions when needed. The finance person who I can t remember his name was very helpful in explaining their additional services I could purchase above and beyond the Ford warranty. He was also pleasant to work with. All in all I had a great experience working with your dealership.

Took my car in for a problem with AC and to get inspected. Got a call from the service department that it would cost 5800$ to fix my car I almost dropped the phone. I bought the car in September of 2017 and I have only put 2K miles on the car wich looks brand new. They told me nothing they could do. That is what is needed so I took it to another location and garage that only works on foreign cars and the estimate there was 1900$ to fix the AC and replace the struts on the front end! The other two items that faulkner said I needed and they were leaking was a flat out lie! They put the car up on a lift and we went over these so called needed parts and there was no leaking or problems. So to end this story they fixed my car and inspected it for less then 2100.00$ wich was less then 3900$ that Faulkner wanted to charge me. So watch out people when you take your car to Faulkner BMW you better get a second estimate!

After visiting several other car dealers and having some disappointing experiences while looking for a particular BMW, we were refreshed to come across Faulkner BMW and specifically, Rob Howry. Actually, all of the staff were very friendly and polite. They made us feel like a priority and like our time was valuable. Rob was on top of every question about each car and our package options. He really, really knew his stuff about the cars and truly had a passion for them. When we actually purchased our car from them, they were patient and took all the time we needed to explain every detail of the car to us. I will recommend Faulkner and particularly Rob to anyone looking for a BMW in Lancaster County or York County. First class all the way.

I went to Faulkner to have have 2 new run-flat tires installed on my car in May and only having only 23000 miles on it I questioned why with such low miles on it, should I already be having to replace them. Their answer was that is just how run flat tires are and the tread life is low. I had to have them put on because the car would not pass inspection with out new tires. I received a price quote of about $500 for 2 new ones. I made the appointment had them installed. I then asked the service rep what the warranty on the new tires would be. I was told that would be up to the manufacture (Perrelli) to tell me that information. (Not True)I made repeated calls to Faulkner to the service department and parts department asking what Faulkner's warranty is on the tires.After leaving voice mail messages as well as email to the dealership I never heard back from them. To this day,now September I have not received any answer.
Perrelli has a warranty on their tires but Faulkner should have been able to comply with my request on what their warranty was as well. I think after spending $500 on 2 new tires it was an reasonable request.The receipt I received from them did not have any of that information on it.

Bottom line for me is this: You could have at least been in contact with me to give me the information I was asking for, after repeated attempts to contact you and seek the information, I heard nothing!

I will NOT use Faulkner for any service again, and I will let my friends and associates that own/lease BMW's about my experiences and inform them to use alternate dealerships.
After posting this review, I received 2 calls from Faulkner. I appreciate the dealer contacting me after 5 months, I stand with my review.
I'm sure to most reading this postas well as the dealership, this is a very petty complaint. For me it's about the principle.

They will lure you into doing maintenance services with low price to begin with then once you develop trust, they can pretty much charge you arms and kegs for something you don't need. This is where not only Faulkner BMW stands apart but leads. However, you can only have a strong brand and loyalty when you have strong associates. While all the advisors are amazing, Jessie Jones is MY service advisor 24/7 not just during the day.

Having been driving BMW's for 21 years, there is no comparison to Faulkner and their service team, and in my case Jessie Jones who actually cares about my experience at Faulkner.

My interactions with everyone at the dealership were cordial and pleasant. In particular Bryan Watson and Devin Hogan who were both very courteous. I purchased my leased vehicle and overall it was a very simple process. The reason I did not rate my experience as 5 stars is because of two issues. They may seem minor to others but they mattered to me.
The estimate of what I would have to pay for the wear on the tires and a scrape on my bumper was, in my opinion, excessive. I take care of my cars and I don't put a lot of miles on them. While I like performance vehicles, I'm not a race driver and don't pretend to be one on my daily drives. I had my vehicle inspected while it was there. The tire wear indicated on my inspection was not what I was told it was during the pre-inspection for the lease turn in. So I was going to be charged $1,200 for tire wear that apparently didn't exist. Also the 4 inch scrape on the bumper was going to cost up to $400 to repair.
I had already looked at other vehicles and after getting the estimates of these items had pretty much decided that instead of buying a new vehicle, I was going to purchase something at another dealership. I understand that the dealership is in business to make money and have every right to do so. Doing it this way was a red flag for me. I've purchased enough vehicles to know better than to ignore my intuition when things like this happen.
After reviewing those other vehicles again, I found that I was not as satisfied with them as I was with my current one. I wasn't willing to settle. Now it was just a choice of either keeping what I had or getting a new one. The unease I felt about paying $1,600 plus the cost of the new vehicle made the decision a simple one. I just decided to buy what I was driving. I'm very satisfied with what I have and will continue to enjoy driving it. I'm sure Faulkner made money on my purchase and as I said, I understand that. Had it been handled differently however, I might have made another choice and probably given a higher rating.

Faulkner BMW is a superb dealership. The manager is very friendly and Devin and Tanner were very professional and knowledgeable in helping me purchase my first Bavarian car. I highly recommended this family-oriented staff and I look forward to driving my new M2.

Update as of 1/17/20:
Subsequent to purchase I noticed a recurring Emissions Warning Light on my dashboard. I took it to a BMW dealer closer to home in NJ but they were unable to fix it. I went back to Faulkner where Devin, Caitlin, and Tanner were able to identify and successfully fix the problem. My car required replacement of spark plugs and coils, and now the car is riding like new. Thanks for fixing the problem. I will certainly return for any future service.

Update as of 02/07/20
Faulkner BMW did a great job setting me up with a finance company for my new BMW. Very easy process. After getting service to fix a minor engine problem, the car is doing fantastic.

I did not expect luxury car service when buying a used Toyota from a BMW dealer. However, that is exactly what I received, and it was a pleasure! My time was not wasted, there was no hard sell on unneeded extras, information on how the final price was achieved was shared with me (and it accurately reflected my research), and the overall experience in general was the best I have had in decades of car ownership.

However, it's ridiculous that I had to wait from late November to April to have the work done - we were originally told the work would be done in late January or early February. Then, apparently because Faulkner lost the paperwork from USAA in late December, the work was delayed until April.

Caitlin and Rose keep us updated if anything unexpected is found which is fantastic for knowing how to plan out the day. VERY POOR SALES EXPERIENCE

I purchased a 2011 Mercedes C300 on 11/23/2015. At time of sale I was told by BMW that the vehicle of purchase will have a "Full" Manufacturer Warranty until September 2018. The staff at BMW verbally told me that they verified that information via the vehicles VIN with the manufacturer. On my Vehicle Buyers Order, Deal #13791, under Warranty Information, the "Factory Warranty" Box is selected. Recently my check engine light came on and I called BMW for service but they directed me to Mercedes Dealer as it was still under warranty with them. I called Mercedes Dealer and was informed that this vehicle VIN does show that there is an Extended Warranty on it till 9/2018 but it is not transferable via a Dealer Sale. I was never informed of this information at the BMW dealer prior to my sale. If I would have ever been informed that the vehicle I was looking to purchase did not come with any Warranty from BMW or that the Extended Manufacturer Warranty would not transfer to me the SALE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FINALIZED BY ME! I have made multiple calls to the BMW Sales Managers but they are not willing solve this situation unless I am agreeable to purchase a Warranty now at FULL PRICE. BMW of Lancaster was clearly DECEPTIVE/FRAUDULANT in the sale of this vehicle in regards to the Manufacturer Warranty and should have been transparent in the details regarding Extended Manufacturer Warranty transfer's or lack there of. The BMW dealer was clearly under the same impression as I was regarding the Manufacturer warranty coverage transferable till 9/2018 as they did not even offer a minimum 3 month Warranty through BMW. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am currently Awaiting an investigation regarding this complaint.

DO NOT TRUST WHAT THE SALES/MANAGEMENT TEAM RELAYS TO YOU. If you purchase a vehicle from here make sure you do your own homework to make sure you know what warranty coverage is on your vehicle. Take nothing for granted because they information that is related to you regarding coverage is a LIE and they do nothing to correct the situation. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE BAN THIS DEALERSHIP UNTIL THEY ARE MADE TO CORRECT THEIR CUSTOMER SALES EXPERIENCES.

I took my M3 in for an airbag recall (since I had to do it at the dealership). They did their "courtesy inspection" and found a problem (which I knew existed since my regular mechanic already told me about it). It was a very specific repair. They told me it was a must fix and would cost about $950. My mechanic said it could easily go on longer without repair but I had him do it anyway. Cost? $250. Don't be fooled by these dealerships costs. If you own a BMW the best mechanic in the county can be found at Autowurks in Ephrata, PA. I have zero affiliation with them (so this isn't a paid for plug), but Joel is honest, fair and will treat your car like it's his. I don't fault the staff at Faulkner, they were great, hence the 2 stars. It's just the whole dealership costs are out of control.

Great advisors and people. The technicians will definitely will try to get as much work out of your car as possible. Had mine fail a inspection because of windshield tint to low and the rotors were .3 of a millimeter too thin. Brakes were great and all but they wanted to do a full brake job all around for 1400.00 because of .3 of a millimeter. Which is the size of a architectural pencil tip. Went to another garage for inspection. The BMW techs caliper must of not been calibrated, because the rotors were great.
At least the emissions and wash was free. That's the plus. I knew they would try to find something since it was a complementary service I received in my email. Great advisors though! Willing to comp you a car if you need or a shuttle service.

We worked with Bret and everything was great. They took the deal I was looking to make which doesn't happen very often without some sort or counteroffer to meet halfway etc. It also wasn't a typical deal for them to make since we were trading in 3 cars for 1. On top of that they sent two valets to help with the logistics of getting the cars to the dealership. The only small issue was we were promised 2 keys and they couldn't find one on the day of the sale. Unlike other dealers they did actually follow through and send it in a week or two. Couldn't ask for much more...the dealer is good and Bret was great.

My car was valeted yesterday for a wheel alignment. The car was picked up at 8 AM as promised. I noted that I needed the car by the end of the day as we were flying out the next day to Phoenix. when my car was not returned by 4 PM, I called my service advisor, Jedd Miller, and asked where it was. He apologized profusely noting that the service department had gotten really busy and that it would be the next day for my car to be returned. I reminded him of my travel plans and he immediately said that he d have the service mechanic finish my car and that he, himself, would deliver my car. Sure enough, about 5:40 PM our doorbell rang and there was Jedd with my car.

I m telling you this to point out how Faulkner BMW goes above and beyond to assure customer satisfaction. Over the years, I ve dealt with two other BMW dealers, but none provided this type of service...I m impressed and am glad that I not only recently purchased my 2017 330xi from Faulkner, but that I also am impressed with the service Jedd provided me.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Of the 20 vehicles we've purchased over the years, our recent buy with Faulkner BMW was the absolute best car buying experience! Before taking the long drive out to Lancaster from Warrington, Faulkner Sales Associate Tommie Black worked his magic to get my wife and me the best possible deal and we signed within a few hours. Tommie is a straight-shooter, no nonsense, genuine, no snake oil sales tactics to up-sell me on different packages. I cannot tell you how refreshing that was, especially after arguing with 3 other dealerships earlier in the week. Tommie even had my car picked up and fully serviced/detailed over the past few days while my wife and I were on vacation. He serves as the gold standard for exceptional service and extraordinary salesmanship. Honestly, I will never buy another BMW from anyone but Tommie Black and the folks at Faulkner BMW.

So far I have been very pleased in all aspects of service. I bought the extended warranty which includes service to the vehicle and to me it was well worth it. My only concern when buying the maintenance package was whether when the buyer goes to use it there are efforts to not have to honor it. But I have not found this to be the case. In addition to having all things covered that are supposed to be covered without any kind of a hassle, when I needed a headlamp replaced I shopped around and the a BMW dealer closer to me they had exorbitantly high prices for the same replacement and installation cost. At Faulkner the cost was at least as competitive and reasonable as smaller service shops like Pep Boys. Faulkner has always been very accommodating. I got the valet service with my extended service contract. When I got the valet service as part of the package I wondered whether this would be honored but it has been no problem whatsoever. They are always courteous on the phone which I really appreciate it. I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from Faulkner with the extended warranty and swrvice package oprion.

The repairs were completed ahead of schedule and the workmanship is unquestioned. They even gave the vehicle a professional cleaning inside and out at the end.
