Don't go to Honda Steven's Creek for your service maintenance, they will try to force you to do extra maintenance not required, just to get much more money.
I went there recently for the B1 service which requires Oil and filter change, plus tire rotation, and they wanted me to do brake fluid replacement, transmission fluid replacement, shock absorber replacement and something else, for a total of about $3000!!! It's a shame!

My last experience at Honda Steven Creek is great. Jeannette is awesome. She gave me thorough explanation of all issues they found with my 2001 Accord. Fair pricing too. Replaced front brake, brake fluid, coolant. Their shuttle service is nice.
I had a wonderful experience at Honda of Stevens Creek. I had a good idea of what I wanted going into the dealership after reviewing a number of different vehicles online, but I still wanted to be 100% that I was purchasing the right car for my needs. As a first time buyer, I was nervous about the car shopping experience. However, Asad took very good care of me at the dealership. He was patient and honest in answering all of the questions I had about the Honda Fit. I did not feel pressured to make a decision at all. After I decided to move forward with purchasing the Honda Fit, Asad sat in the car with me and showed me how to use all of the features in the car. I would highly recommend Honda of Stevens Creek for an honest and pleasant car buying experience!!
I had a positive experience with salesman Sam and finance rep Sid. Both very personable and not pushy. Sam had an in depth knowledge of the features on the used vehicle I was interested in. The dealership gave a generous offer on my trade-in and I am pleased with the 2016 CR-V that I purchased
Inefficient and slow processes. Poorly managed customer expectation. I called in the day before the pick out the car and was ready to pay upfront without financing. I spent about 3 hours waiting for their process to pass me around from sales guy to finance person to sales guy before I could get the car. And all of this was after I had made an appointment to come in at an exact time. I just wanted to give them my money and be on by way. I understand that I needed to sign DMV paper work etc, but that part only required 10 minutes. The finance guy ran a hard credit pull without my consent. When I left, he said he would send me the digital copies of my documents. He forgot to and didn't send them until after I contacted them many times through email and text. Through all of this, the sales rep was as helpful as he could be, but couldn't get much done with their poorly managed processes. The Honda itself is great to drive.
Very unsatisfactory performance. They replaced my windshield and charged me for recalibrating my cameras and neither my front collision or my lane departure warning work now. They also got grease stains from the mechanics shoes on my floor mats. Poor service.
Extremely poor customer service! I was made to wait for 1 hr for a sales consultant to show up (while it wasn't very busy and many consultants were just chatting or watching a match). They didn't have the courtesy to update me on how much time it would take. Finally when some one showed up, he couldn't have been any less bothered about making the sale. He did not ask me any questions about my requirements, nor did he showcase any of the features. While discussing numbers with one of the managers, the guy was extremely rude as if he was doing me a big favor to even talk to me. Never going back to this dealership.
I had a positive (mostly) experience buying my CRV from Stevens Creek. Worked with the Internet sales manager, Asad, to agree on a quote before going into the dealership. He was honest and forthright. I did not encounter any aggressive sales pitches for add-ons/warranties etc. when I was signing the paperwork. Reasons why I withheld the 5th star: - We agreed on one price in the email. But when I went to the dealership to sign paperwork, manager said that price was too low. He claimed to have made a mistake in approving the deal. They were transparent and showed me their sales history etc. to backup their claim that the price that they agreed to over email was never offered to anyone else. Still, in my opinion, they should have accepted their mistake and went through with it, and not backed out saying it's low. In the end, it was only a $500 difference and even the new, higher price was still the lowest I've been able to get from any other dealer in the area, so I took it. - Only one finance guy in the shop, so weekends can get really busy. I waited for 2 hours to sign my paperwork and get keys. The actual signing itself took only 10 mins. I wish that they could schedule some slots etc. and help customers avoid unnecessary waiting.
I ve never experienced such a bad service. I had an appointment and arrived earlier. When I arrived, there are 3 lines. A man asked if I had appointment and guided me to the express line, but I waited for 30 mins and didn t see this line moving. The other two lines move very fast and I can see people arriving later than me can get service faster. So what s the meaning of appointment??? I asked one guy and he told me those people all had appointment, so why two of your staffs had completely different statements?? That s so ridiculous that one customer with appointment cannot get service after waiting for half an hour and need to wait even longer. I may need to wait one hour or more, and do a oil change needs 3 hours. Are you kidding me???
We initially started looking at Honda Accord at this location. Amir H was a real gentleman and followed up with no pressure phone calls. When we finally decided to purchase an Honda, we visited Amir H, what a great experience!! All the work done less than 2 houres
Very nice .. on time every time... I purchased my new Honda Accord 2015 here and does all services here... no complaints and they took full care of my vehicle and maintained their timelines and excellent service
One of the worst dealerships experience I had. Be aware people make sure you review the items before you signed anything. Luckily I spotted something added that wasn't supposed to be just on time so it got removed before signing the documents. They also sold me an alarm for my car but they didn't mention my car already had an alarm. Once my mechanic spotted the existing alarm I brought it up to the dealer and they were able to refund me for the alarm but it took a while to be able to get in touch with the person who did the paperwork. Just be aware people.
EXCELLENT customer service, really cared about my concern of a transmission oil leak stain on my 2015 CRV. There was no indications of a leaking issue. Went the extra mile by allowing me to point to the area of concern with the technician while the CRV was lifted and ensured I was satisfied with the diagnosis. THANK YOU for extending that courtesy and keeping things transparent! Keep doing that!
The service was excellent except for the last hour notice on changing the break pads. That was a good catch. My wheel is to vibrate a lot while trying to slow down from 60+ mph.
Very patient and helpful in explaining the kind of service needed for our car. Had no issues at all with anything. A very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this place to others.
Test drove a car and got really cold shoulders. I felt like talking to a wall. Another patron said the same when they were left stranded after a test drive. The cars probably sell by themselves?
Pedro is a rarity in the business- authentic, genuine and honest. I attribute this to being new but these were the indispensable traits that build trust. His Sales Manager, Amine, was no different. Amine was direct and collaborative, allowing me to walk away feeling satisfied and happy.
I leased a 2016 Honda Accord from these guys and it was great. Working with Ali (sales guy), Leroy (sales manager) and Adam (finance manager) was a pleasure, despite it was very late (I came in at around 7pm).
I had the good fortune to fall into the helpful hands of Stevens Creek Honda. I was passing through the area from Los Angeles heading home to Washington State. Our Honda Odyssey showed signs of struggling on the big hills of 101. We were able to get over the hills, but were afraid that we wouldn't be able to get through Shasta and the Siskiyous so we decided to get the car checked out. We had been on the road for some time so we really wanted to get home! We called and Stevens Creek Honda was able to fit us in first thing in the morning the next day. Awesome. I get there at 7am, wait in line and when the gentleman (sorry I forget his name) comes over to get our particulars and check us in; I give him our situation. I mention that we would love to get out as soon as possible since we had a 12 hour drive in front of us. He said we will see what we can do. I headed to the waiting area and a few minutes later they come and find me and ask if there is a trick to starting my car. I said "no" and went out and tried it myself .. to no avail. Now I was looking at a big unknown and the potential of a day or multi-day delay to getting home. They pushed the car into the garage and started their evaluation. Long story short ... car wouldn't start due to a loose wire! Boy am I glad that problem manifested itself at Stevens Creek Honda. If the problem would have arisen in a gas station "in the middle of nowhere", I may not have been able to get it resolved as quickly. The "hill struggle" was due to a valve problem on the fourth cylinder. A valve adjustment took care of that and I was back picking up the family at 12:15pm to load the car. Didn't get home until 2am, but it sure felt great to sleep in my own bed! Stevens Creek Honda was extremely helpful, understanding of my situation, willing to help me in any way, able to properly diagnose and fix TWO problems, and still get me back on the road in a reasonable time frame. Everyone we dealt with took the time to listen to what I said and show me what they were finding during their analysis. We appreciate everyone there!
Bad experience. Competition between the sales associates left us with no car and waste of an entire day! Plz read the entire review before you go to the store!
We had a really bad experience at the showroom. We were at the showroom to buy an used Honda Accord. We were initially introduced to a sales associate Rich Chan, and explained to him our requirements and gave him a budget. Rich Chan took us to have a look at all the available models. He even took is to a above budget Accord hybrid, which we were really keen on buying. We asked him for a couple of hours, so that we could give it a thought. Richard was thoughtful, and understood that buying a car which was over $10,000 of our budget, was a big decision. Also we open to the fact that, if in the meantime he got any other customers, he could carry on with the trade.
When we reached there after a couple of hours, a new associate came to us, asking if we were introduced to another agent/associate. When we told him about Rich Chan, he stated that Rich is busy with other customers. We were ready to wait for Rich, but as we entered the showroom, Rich came up to us, and took over Abdel (the new sales associate). Things were going on smoothly, we even went for a test drive of the Hybrid. Even though it was way beyond our budget, we decided to give it a thought.
As we sat there in the office, taking about finance options and comparing rates of the hybrid with the other low budget cars, Rich was called over by his Sales Manager.
To this point, we had a really pleasant time with Richard. As we were talking of finances, payment options and other details, Richard was called by the sales manager along with Abdel. They had some talk, and Richard just left us in the middle of everything. The manger came up to us, and explained the costing of the car, he told us there were more Accords with in our budget range. He called upon Abdel to take us out again to check out the cars which we had already seen.
The manager again asked us for our budget, when we told him budget was $20,000, but before we could finish saying that we were will to increase our budget, the manager in front of his staff ruled out that "we are looking for the best car and have no money to pay for it" (and I should mention, he said the exact same words). This according to me was very humiliating. Sales people, being in a Manager position need not be taught how to behave with customers. He made me and my husband look cheap in front of his staff. Also not just us, our mother was with us during all of this. Is this the behaviour a sales manager has to offer an elderly lady?
It is not the case that we are people who can't afford a car. It was unfortunate that my husband met with an accident and our Mercedes had to be totalled. We have owned high end cars in the past, and are fully capable of owning one again. We don't expect any store manager to make us realize how business is done nor is he in any position to talk to my husband about our financial capacity.
This was the worst experience towards a customer i have experienced. I understand sales associates have to compete with each other to get customers to buy a car. But a fight between them is no reason to leave the customer in middle of a deal.
It was a total waste of our time and energy. Whole sunday was ruined and came back home disappointed...with no Car!
My 2010 Odyssey has 104700 miles on her and I need to replace timing belt, battery, four wheel alignment and a oil change. I was working with Daniel and he found some coupon and save me 20% of over all cost. The final bill is a tad higher than the garage I trusted at MV, but you are getting the factory parts. I got the car back withing the same day and after driving for 500 miles now no problems. Overall, I am very satisfied with their services and speed.
Daniel helped me with Service for my Odyssey and made the whole Process super quick and pain free ; the sales process was great too and I will go back to Stevens Creek Honda in a heartbeat.
Excellent leasing experience. The only complaint I have is the sales agent forgot to give me my second set of keys for the car when driving off the lot. They made up for it by hand delivering the second set to my house. I would recommend to anyone looking for a Honda in the South Bay area.
We enjoyed our car-buying experience with Honda of Stevens Creek. It may be typical (trust that it is) but Mark was not pushy, which given my better-half proved instrumental in securing the sale (!) We also received quick help on an issue related to our trade-in, by a rep who was not part of the sales process; was grateful for his willingness to step right up.
The reception customer service is not at par, not friendly and not accommodating. Rude.
I spent $415.00 for A13 brake fluid flashing and wiper inserts but despite the cost this dealer doesn t wash your car after the service. Very poor service. The very 1st time to encounter such after taking my car to Honda dealer for the last 17 years.
Besides, they over price if you re not knowledgeable because they charged me for brake flushing for $180 but the standard cost is between $70-$150 only and it s even 60,000 miles or 3 years. Should I have not called the former Honda dealer (Thousand Oaks, CA) I used to take my car then I wouldn t know.
I had an appointment at 11:30 AM on Monday August 20th, 2018. I was there at the Service Reception at 11:26 AM and was not attended by anyone till 12:00 PM. I mean if I had to wait I would just walk in what is the point of having an appointment. At 12:00 PM when I did get attended I was told the care service for an A1 service takes 1-1.5 hours, which is why I took the decision to stay at the waiting room and wait than rather take a drop back home. I didn't receive my vehicle till 2.15 as the person told me he came at 1:30 to call me at the waiting room and as well as at 2:00 which is where I was seated the whole time! Car Service point of view they might have done a great job, but as far as customer service and information provided for the wait time was misleading. If an appointment is made then that should be honored and made sure the person is taken in at time for the scheduled time.
Overall rating for car service might have been great !!! But for customer service 2-3 out of 5 not that great !!! Wasn't pleased or satisfied about this experience I had with the Honda Dealership !!!
I would rate this as a 5 star service. I was helped by "Dave Thomas". Excellent person I must say that.Since it was my first service appointment , I had many questions but Dave made sure to answer all of them and helped me with my service. I got the best service and would definitely recommend this service center ,and you are lucky if Dave will help you with your service :-). He gave individual attention to all his customers, which makes the service great. He also updated me about my ongoing service and I got my car back from the service in the mentioned time frame :-)I look forward to get the same service in the future.
Worked with Daniel. I hate buying cars because of the experience. This experience was not the case. I talked to him earlier in the morning. And when I got there he was ready to help. Showed me the car and and took it for a test drive and the rest was history. I appreciated the sales knowledge of Daniel and I think that s what made the experience so much better. Highly recommend this location and Daniel
Two hours for my oil change last week. It seems like this happens whenever I go to any of the dealerships to get this procedure done. For just oil changes, I think I should just start going elsewhere... It would have been nice if they at least apologized for the wait, but nope.
Awfull place do not take your car here. They will deceive you to giving them a "5 star" review and give you free services for it so long as you fill up a survey that was "random" so after the review and i call to set up the appointment they say i dont qualify because i didnt get the "correct email". Bunch of LIARS would give -5 if i can.
Getting your car serviced at Stevens Creek Honda is a super experience. Our trusted service advisor, Steve Munoz, gave us excellent service! Thank you Honda at Stevens Creek! Thank you Steve Munoz! !
I thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with Mike he was friendly and knowledgeable. I would normally not take the time to review a service but he was great!
My experience was amazing. Mike Coasta deserves a raise... I mean... I was there for 4 hours..... .... but he kept on re-assuring me that my car was in good hands, and that they were doing their best to get me out of there in a timely fashion. But you cant rush perfection right.... ... he was just... hands down amazing. I've never recieved such amazing, comforting customer service like that before in my life. I was very satisfied.
We looked for a pre-owned vehicle at Honda Stevens Creek and we found what we are looking for although the price could be slightly better based on the mileage. The overall experience has been satisfactory and the customer service has been very helpful and no buying pressure.
I've bought 50+ cars in my lifetime, with experiences ranging from OK to excruciating. Buying my Honda Clarity last week was pretty painless. The deal was fair, the salesman, Tony, the manager, Di, and the finance guy, Faisal, all know what they're doing. Very professional outfit.
Wonderful service! Friendly yet professional. Very knowledgeable and honest. I keep returning to this place! Ask for Joe, who is the awesome GM there and he will take good care of you.
Service staff are very nice. However, this recall experience is not professional. I informed the scheduler and adviser I already came in April for seemingly the same recall problem, but was told I did two recalls and this is the third. I informed the adviser I will wait in the dealership for the recall to be completed. After waiting for two hours, I requested the status and was told there is no repair needed. They left me a voice mail at home for me to pick up. But I was in the dealership ! How would the adviser expect me to answer the call at home? Why call me on my cell phone or just come to the dealer waiting area to locate me? I ended up losing 3 precious hours with nothing accomplished.
Responsive and fair. Very nice car buying experience. Thank you Verani.
Was five stars for the buying experience with my HR-V, However now down to 2 stars after my experience with their service department. Way too expensive and the car took 2 hours longer than promised did not get done until 7:30 PM even though I dropped off the car at 8 AM.
I was here from out of town and needed an oil change and scheduled maintenance. They were able to fit me in within 30 minutes and Joshua was friendly, helpful and polite. The whole process was easy and low-key. The waiting area was large and people were able to be spaced safely. I saw people cleaning while I was there and my car was disinfected for me before it was returned. Stress-free service!
The service we ve received from end to end was very friendly, professional, and personal. Mr. Mark Wright is the best car professional we ve worked with in the past many years. It has been a great pleasure buying our new car from him recently !
Great experience, my dealer was named Mark Wright and he was very helpful in walking me through the process of deciding on a car, and looking at financing options. I feel as though I walked away with a very good deal. Got a Honda Civic 2016 for a couple grand under MSRP!
Standard sales experience. Constant up selling. Handed papers for $1,000 worth of 3rd party security services with no previous mention or discussion and just told sign here .
Edit: I never even received my customer experience survey after purchasing a new vehicle, so I would love to hear how you will use my comments to "refine our efforts to ensure this issue does not happen again"
"Frustrated! " - Maria S Cisneros We bought a 2017 accord, beautiful, elegant ....piece of .....not even 3 months and all the lights came on ....took it to get serviced and they said I call you tomorrow , it's been almost a week and the car is still at the service place...Rick at the service dpt. said it is the head and can be 1 or 2 or 3 weeks , he doesn't know !! Can we just get our money back or another car? How can a brand new car be already needing such a big job !! My son hasn't work almost a week because of this ...he does uber and really needs "the brand new car" he is paying !! We had same experience at Ford two years ago and decide to go to Honda ......same thing ! ! We are very disappointed.... Finally ! ....they fixed it today
I just bought my 2018 Honda Clarity Plug in. First off, BEST service I ve ever received. Di responded back very fast via email regarding the car. I immediately called him and said that my husband and I were coming down in an hour and would like to purchase the vehicle. We met Di when we first got there and then we talked about the car with Daniel and went and took a look at it. (I was previously working with a sales manager at the Honda of Morgan Hill, and long story short, he didn t keep his word on anything - just stick with Stevens Creek). Daniel was able to give us the full low down on the car with all of the new gadgets and buttons while it was getting detailed. Just super friendly and transparent! Philip was our financial advisor and he was awesome. I guess it was his first week at this location, he fits right in! I will definitely be bringing back both my CRV and Clarity for maintenance. Thank you all SO much for such a pleasant car buying experience. 5 starts, all around :)
This previous review still stands FOR THE SALES DEPARTMENT. I brought my car in for a flat tire on Saturday. I called ahead of time and let them know that the car was coming (since the Honda road side assistance only tows to Honda dealerships) and asked if they had the tires in stock. Evidently they don't keep tires in stock that often, even though they sell a car with those 4 tires. That's where the issues started... They ordered the tire and it wouldn't get there until Monday. Called 4 times on Monday to finally receive a response from Long (the advisor I was working with) to tell me he was leaving for the day and Glen would be taking over for him. Mind you, this was at 4:30pm and they close at 6:30pm -__- I never received any notification that the car was finished and he promised that ti would be done. I understand that it was around the holiday, but when something is promised I expect nothing less. It is now Wednesday and my husband called to see if the car was done, and they said it's all finished. He specifically asked if the diagnostic was done. He took the rest of the day off from work and I brought him down there to pick it up on my lunch break, to find out the diagnostic was NOT done but the new tire was changed. The reason why we needed it to be done was because the car never notified me that the tire pressure changed. BIG PROBLEM RIGHT? I guess not. They would NOT do anything about the price of the tire and they are losing a valued customer. Way to drop the ball guys! I would not recommend their service department to anyone.
Sales manager, Phil's support was excellent - explanations about car price, each detailed function of Accord V6 Touring plus good service like phone pairing etc. from all representatives including finance manager.
My map light was broken a year ago and I came to your dealership on 2/29/16 but it was in vain. At the time , your technician indicated that the circuit board could be loose.
This time all my interior lights are broken. I had the local gas station replaced fuse twice and it kept blowing out within weeks. On 1/23/17, I was hoping your dealership could fix the problem. After inspection, your technician replaced under dash fuse #6 and disconnected the map light assembly. Again, that fuse was blown within two weeks. The service advisor and technician both promised me that I can bring it back for free to further inspection until they find the problem. So, I will return soon. I am very pleased for the rental car service so that I don t miss my appointment the next day.
Follow-up Review #2 I went to your dealership for interior lights repair on 1/23/17. The local gas station had replaced fuse #6 several times but it was blown within a week or two. For this short circuit problem, your technician asked me to visit several times so that he could go through each circuit to see what went wrong. I visited four times during the year. After the forth visit on 11/28, he still didn t know what went wrong and suggested me to go to another dealer for a second opinion. However, he was willing to try one more time to look behind the fuse box which requires to plug and unplug all the connectors. After that, he came back with the repair recommendations which are 1) minor fix: Replace Map Light Assembly $446, 2) major fix: Replace Ceiling Harness $1,100. Since I have already spent 4-6 days plus $320 for these multiple diagnoses, I felt I have lost confidence at this point. I am afraid the minor fix might be just a temporary short-term fix. Therefore, my problem is still unresolved at this point of time.
I have been taking my Honda to this dealership fro Service since 2012. I leased my new Civic from there in January. They always take such good care of my vehicles, they explain all that needs to be done thoroughly so I leave knowing exactly what was done to my car. It's the only place I go!
Honda Steven Creek is a really good dealership. Staffs are friendly. I bought my car with the help of Phillip Nguyen. He is an excellent dealer. He's patient and helpful and always reply fast whenever I have any kind of question about my vehicle. I will recommend my friends to go there if they decide to buy a Honda car.
Jeanette was excellent, professional, and straight forward. She called me to update on my car and its condition. I brought it in for a recall notice, but they did a 360 diagnostic inspection and noticed that my brake pads were running low and recommend replacement. She quoted me over the phone and I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, I go to an independent Honda shop for regular maintenance and they charged $40 cheaper than the dealer, so I went to them. This is not tarnishing Jeanette on her part. She did a great job with my service and I will bring my car in for any future recall (hopefully not) or dealer related services. Tip: Bring your car in as early as possible. I recommend at or before 9 am because as soon as 9:30 hits, there is a massive amounts of cars pulling up in queue. When I got there, there were only 3 cars waiting to be helped.
We bought a new Honda from Honda of Stevens Creek-Koorosh Shahidzadeh was the person who helped us with the purchase. He is extremely professional, super nice-not pushy at all, went over all the information about the car and took the time to answer all of our questions. We are so happy with the service and if anyone out there needs a new Honda, Honda of Stevens Creek is the place to go.
Nice place! They are all friendly, helpful and HONEST staff! I wouldn't think of another place to go when I am interested in a car especially with HONDA! The service was excellent great job!! Highly recommend Stevens Creek Honda to all my friends and family!
I bought a Honda Accord 2017. I like them because they didn't try to fool me and everything was transparent and clear. The price is fair too and APR is the lowest. I also got my favorite color. Definitely 5 stars.
I purchased my Honda Accord Hybrid certified pre-owned with less than 12k miles on it from this location in 2015, and had my first flat tire a few weeks ago. I went to look for the patch kit that is supposed to be in the trunk in lieu of a spare tire which does not come stock in hybrids. There was nothing in there. I ended up being totally stranded due to a simple flat tire and had to call a tow truck to pick me up, which cost me $250 and also out in the middle of the night until after midnight. I tried to contact the dealership and the only response I got was a bunch of stock messages from sales people trying to get me in for another sale. I'm super disappointed and I really think that patch kit should have been a priority for the dealership to make sure was in the vehicle. I've checked the certified pre-owned checklist and that's definitely a feature that is supposed to be included. Really unfortunate.
The worst customer service I ever had at this dealership. So I did an oil change and the technician mentioned I had a a oil pan leak and it will cost roughly about $1000 to fix but it wasn t my fault. I m always on top of my oil changes and always bring it to the dealership I shouldn t have to pay anything out of pocket. I spoke to a manger and he was so rude and unprofessional never would come here again.
I have not found anything amiss with the service received from Honda of Stevens Creek. I am just not used to pain over $100 for an oil change. Don't know how to reconcile that in my mind.
I work with Doris for all my service needs every time I take my CIVIC or CRV for service. She is awesome. Keep me informed of the status and asks me for approval before proceeding further on anything. Would love to comeback here and surely recommend Doris and her team at Honda Stevens Creek.
We have very good experience dealing with our salesman Steven Johns. He was very patient , nice and understanding and finally he was able to negotiate with the manger(s) a good price first time when we test drive the car and next when we came later on to pick up the car and the manger changed the agreed upon price .
