I had to get my laptop screen repaired. They gave me an accurate quote before I left their store, called to confirm it a couple hours later, and repaired my laptop within the week.
I have not found this kind of customer service anywhere else. I went in there thinking I had a bad mobo or cpu and they diagnosed the issue to be corrupted windows and a bad usb that I was trying to use to reinstall windows. Two guys dropped what they were working on to figure this out and I was just shocked at the level of service and expertise they provide. I picked up some great priced used hardware as well. I think it is important we support businesses like this in the community by spreading the word. I am installing windows now and it turns out they were right on the money with thier assessment.

Nice independent computer shop. I stopped in to see if he had a graphic's card for an old school gaming computer I'm building and he happened to be able to hook me up with an AGP Radeon 9200 256MB card that works great. They have a nice selection of used desktops and laptops as well. They also have some parts on hand as hard drives, memory, CPU's Power Supplies, etc. I thought the pricing was fair also.

Found your computer on craigslist no computer with a fx CPU is worth 500$ or more when you are buying a PC you are buying a platform and in a way its an investment brand new all the parts in that system is 600$ You're asking 800$ with so many youtube videos explaining how to make a gaming PC's no one can argue a 200$ premium for these parts. For 800$ one should be getting a Ryzen chip at the least or a I3 quad core with 8GB of ram and a Radeon RX 570. That way the person can upgrade their parts if they wanted too. Again to anyone reading this watch videos online and see if they recommend a FX CPU in 2019. That CPU wasn't even that great when it came out and today it simply isn't worth the investment in a $800 PC. FX 8350 65$ on newegg 16GB of DDR3 ram 65$ on newegg If you can find in outdated AM3+ board it would be around 120$ or so again mainly cause the board is outdated which makes them harder to find at least the ones that can handle this CPU. 500GB Samsung SSD 80$ Bestbuy Used GTX 970 $115 W10 you can find for 15$ PSU for 60$ Case for 60$ Total $580
Really awesome place! They were able to get a custom gaming PC setup for me and it was far less than I was expecting to have to pay. Was use to using Intel but just like they said the AMD Ryzen CPU is super fast and I could not be happier.

I had some potential serious problems that could have happened if I didn t get the correct data and prepared myself it could potential cost me quite a bit of money. I called in and found out It s a small company with two owners who not only help you take care of the problem but also explain all the angles as they see it. I spoke to Nathaniel and it soon became apparent that I was over thinking my potential problem but I also wouldn t need to spend any resources. Usually this point in the conversation the company starts to wrap up the problem because there s really no money to be made. Not only did Nathaniel walk me through taking proper precautions for worst case scenario and how to look out for it. He also walked me through the entire process. To say I was blown away by the experience would be a gross understatement. Because of Nath s attention to detail, communication skills, and an overall obvious knowledge of how to properly identify a problem and creates solutions this company will get all of my IT support moving forwards. When my computer stopped working, I didn't want to take my computer to a big box store for a repair and I tried Stellar Computer Repair. I am very glad I did. I thought the issue may be a bad power supply, but Francis took steps to determine it wasn't and then tried a number of things which may have caused the issue. Thankfully, in the end, it was an easy fix but something I wouldn't have ever thought about and soon, my computer was back up and running, saving me not only a lot of money (don't have to dump a lot of money into or worse, replace the computer) but who hasn't felt the stress of losing everything when your computer is wonky? There was never a hard sell for something that I didn't need and while suggestions were made (to make my computer better, but again, not a hard sell), neither Francis or the other male (Nathaniel?) spoke down to me or made me feel dumb. I am a very satisfied customer and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stellar to anyone who has a computer issue.

Stellar Computer Repair has excellent professional service. Though my laptop had too much water damage to be fixable, they managed to salvage all of my files and showed me how I could use the drive as an external storage device.
I dropped my laptop and needed a new hard drive and looked around for different computer repair shops till I found this shop. These guys only charge half of what other shops charge and got my laptop working and back to me all in the same day! I'm very impressed with their work! I will refer anyone i know that needs repairs to come here!
I took three PS3 there and they all broke down after first use. 80 gig fat boy Quit, the slim had a disk drive that needed repair, 40 gig also need a drive wasn't repaired at all. Had a computer that worked but that needed to be updated and now it doesn't work! Save your money dont trust these guys. And yes I have receipts to prove this happened this year.
Monitor on my desktop stopped working. Took PC and monitor in for diagnosis and they discovered that after recent move I had connected monitor to the wrong video port! Yes, user error! They discovered the error after 15 minutes or so, and they refused my offer of payment!

I thought I had an issue with a loose ssd and brought my laptop here. He couldn't replicate the issue, but still cleaned out my fan, replaced thermal paste and tightened my screen hinge for a customer friendly price. I would highly recommend coming here for computer issues, plus they follow covid guidelines for pick up and drop off.
Efficient service, however when I was notified that my computer was ready for pick up I was also informed that there was an available power chord which I needed that I could purchase at time of pick up of my device. When I arrived to pick up my device that Friday I was told there was no available chord (wished I had known that info beforehand so I could order one) I proceeded to order one online however, since I was desperate I called them up early Monday morning as I believed that the chord as there the guy just couldn't find it, anyway just as I thought they had it needless to say I had the inconvenience of having to drive back to the location to purchase the chord, and cancelling an order. Not even an apology. Not to mention the place reeked of weed, come on now.

First they looked @ my laptop problem, and rather than replacing hardware, simply removed an out of date program, replacing it with the latest version. Cost $10. for 10 minutes from owner for tech help. This is the place to take your computer problems. Courteous and professional!

The DVD drive on my old PC died. So, I figured I might as well get a new case for the machine if I'm going to be working on it anyway. [Editor's note - I had no intention of replacing the DVD drive in this day and age. I had to remove it because it was broken making terrible noises]. I installed all of the components into the new case, and the machine would not boot. Aside from a brief spin from the power supply fan, and a glowing green light on the motherboard, there was no sign of life. I wasn't sure if I connected something wrong, or fried the motherboard. So, I called Stellar Computer Repair. I initially spoke with Nathaniel, who was very friendly and a good listener. He was able to get me in that day. As it turns out, I failed to install the spacers which put a gap between the motherboard and the case (which caused the problem). Not only did Stellar Computer Repair put those spacers in for me, they also installed a different fan to resolve a compatibility issue with my motherboard. They gave me back the fan that came with the case, which I appreciated. When I got home, it was one thing to see the computer boot to Windows. But, I found out they also did some cable management for me. Everything was tidy inside the case and it looked great. The charge for all of this was extremely reasonable. And, to top it all off, even though Stellar Computer Repair did not guarantee it, they managed to complete everything on the same day. I am extremely pleased with my first experience and would come back again.
