Steigenberger Aqua Magic Resort Review

Friendly staff enough choice when eating. Always happy to come again

With "Aqua Magic" the name is the program. Water, swimming and bathing is announced. Next to the Red Sea "next door" (about 400m walk) there are many different pools for every taste.
The hotel is an all inclusive hotel. According to the guests.
According to the brand "Steigenberger" one can expect a certain standard, which certainly fulfills the hotel in many areas. The rooms are spacious, well cut. The service is good, all the staff are very hard. What I was very surprised were the cosmetics designed in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion): none of these things today meets the requirements to be marketable in Europe (ingredients, award). Those who are sensitive to preservatives like parabens or MI / MIT must have their own remedies with them. When I think of a Steigenberger house, an absolute no-go.
Food: Buffet style, who wants it more exclusive, pays extra for a la carte. Every day changing dinner theme.
All in all a nice hotel. For a week escape the winter worthwhile. For longer or for high season rather not.

The hotel is a bit old.
The cleanliness and hygiene is also rather poor, despite subsequent cleaning.
The beach is very nice and well maintained, the swimming and snorkeling is great.
The food at the buffet is rather 2 or 3 star hotel level.
The a la carte restaurant are great and recommendable.

Very good hotel (beautiful, clean, excellent services...) . People are friendly and the food is really good.

July 2018 for 10 days in this hotel with 2 children. The hotel is in a beautiful location, the pool area is great. A whirlpool leads through the whole complex, which can be enjoyed with rubber tires. Otherwise there are several pools. A shuttle goes to the beach, but it is also easy to walk. The food tastes great. There is more than enough choice. There are also other themed restaurants that are highly recommended. The sky restaurant was fantastic. Very tasty food with a great atmosphere
Gastrointestinal problems are simply a part of Egypt, but you will be helped everywhere, you should only start taking the tablets early enough.
The rooms are adequately equipped and clean. The air conditioning always runs well. It is also not as noisy as other hotels.
The only thing that was horrible is the EVENING program. Have never seen such a bad EVENING animation. Even the MiniDisco is not a hit. All in all, it's a nice family hotel, not necessarily for people without kids. The staff speaks different languages and is always happy if, as a German, you don't just ask for your language. Bad when Germans fly abroad and everywhere demand that German is spoken only for them ... * find the mistake *

Very good hotel for families with children. Plenty of attractions and animation and excellent service are a special feature of this modern hotel complex!

Unfortunately it was unpleasent visit ,Definitely I don't recommend visiting this Hotel at all !Especially in vacation times!

What's not to like? All staff, happy, helpful and good at whatever job they were doing.

We visited a wonderful festival. Every month the hotel arranges for guests a wonderful holiday with concerts and entertainment!

This hotel is super large and family with children's water games, shows every night ..... and for adults water games, a spa, ....... The rooms are warm. With a private beach .a golf course .....

We are currently spending our vacation at this hotel. We paid the price for a great vacation.
We are disappointed...
Regarding cleanliness so far nothing to say. Maybe because it's Sunday, but today all the toilets were dirty.
We have been there for a week and the bed sheets have not been changed.
Small detail, we only have 3 towels for 4 people, not practical.
We had chosen a hotel with 2 different aquatic structures with 2 children of more or less opposite ages (3 years old and 9 years old).
The little one cannot access the large structure at all ... even accompanied ... (vla tout).
On the other hand with regard to the small slides, it can only do one (and more).
The supervisors are very strict and no way to discuss! They just whistle all day long, we don't even know why.
The "correct" clothes are required in restaurants but for "some people" only to believe. Just like the outfit for the pool ... some can go dressed from head to toe when others take a remark for a simple t-shirt, go figure.
Very big complex with far too many people for our taste. For meals it's always madness.
If you are looking for entertainment this is not the place.
For the little ones, the show is the same every evening and for adults level daytime entertainment you have the choice between water polo in the morning and water polo in the afternoon .. besides, beware of stray balls.
The evening shows not great either.
On the positive side, the room is spacious with a separate bedroom for the children and a nice bathroom. We had nice touches for our honeymoon as well as for an anniversary and the restaurant staff are very friendly. All in lived up to our expectations.
The hotel is beautiful and close to the sea and the airport.
We could seem for difficult but after having discovered other less rated (and less expensive) hotels we are generally dissatisfied.

Little care ... the room cleaned thoroughly, special attention. Nothing to say!
Everything was going so far, we were quietly doing the only toboggan my little girl can do. Which has never been refused us ... and the day supervisor comes to make a remark. To believe that we want to spoil our stay until the end! It's incredible. Now it would be my husband who would be too big to slide. They don't know what they want!

Wonderful place and charming atmosphere. Above excellent service. Another place worth visiting.

Just pack your luggage and go ahead .
From the first gate where the security is, very welcoming.
Front Office team more than perfect especially Mr Emad and the duty MGR Mr Daoud and the FO supervisor Mr Andrew.
Once you step your leg you will feel home.
In terms of food you will never need more varieties and special taste like the experience I had.

In terms of splash holiday it is really this one in the kids aqua park or the adult one, only ask about Mr Mohamed Wageeh the recreation and activity mgr and his team like Moustafa the supervisor.
Simply don't waste your time in thinking or choosing hotel coz the full team of aqua magic is waiting for you to give the best experience .

All in all it is a very good hotel with very lovely staff

I do not know how the 5 stars should come about. The beach chairs at the pool or at the pools are too little. Therefore, starting from 06:30 am the big beach chairs reservation, although the operator reports that this is not allowed before 8 o'clock. The main restaurant is too small and understaffed. In the best case, you can order drinks, but then they do not come at times. If you eat there, you have to spend a lot of time. 5 minutes in line at the buffet is not uncommon. Again, it is not regulated. Glasses are in short supply anyway and the few waiters hardly manage to prepare the tables accordingly. So you sit partially on dirty tables. The rooms themselves are quite good, if you can overlook the 50db loud air conditioning. If you have a restless sleep, you should bring Oropax. But since the night ends at 06:30 through chairs back and doors pop (the run on the beach chairs begins) it is not so dramatic.

Much could be solved more stylishly. Especially the restaurant problems are closely related to the fact that from 17 o'clock the pools are closed and you drove people artificially to the restaurant and to the bars. The fact that the children's disco starts at 7:00 pm gives parents only a 30 minute time frame to eat. But you do not eat anyway, because the parents are only waiting for your children because they have no chance at the buffet anyway.

Conclusion: I would have expected more from a Steigenberger hotel. It was the first and last time for us. On such a hotel bunker with food delivery in barracks style, we are tired. (5 stars definitely not justified)

The inner room door locked me in and i waited 20 untill some one come to open it and 35 minutes totaluntil they get me out

I was very angery and yeling to find my kids
At this time one of the workers attacked me ,
After 10 minutes i found my kids at aroom close to me , some one was keeping them
Then
I asked for the hotel manager to meet him, they told me that he is not available

I need to see the reaponsible punished for this bad reputation for this great hotel
My stay is for 3 nights

Ideal with children. Friendly staff as long as you are a guest. Heated swimming pools, also that of the aqua park.

It's a great holiday in Egypt, just next to the beach is a coral with hedgehogs, and you can have breakfast as you wish!
