needed a dumpster for some fence removal on property . they came out the next day with the dumpster . prices are competitive with the service industry . picked up dumpster promptly .

Several times, our house has been skipped on recycling pickup (6 times this year including today) despite it being out the night before or the morning of pickup. Each time I call about it, I'm met with no empathy, and one time they even said they'd have a garbage truck grab it the next day. I wouldn't go through the effort of recycling if I wanted it to get mixed in with garbage. Aside from not taking our recycling today, they also left some of our yard waste. My work hours aren't exactly consistent, so a few times I didn't discovery this until after I got home which has been after their normal business hours. Since there's no way to leave a voicemail, I've taken to finally leaving a review about how unhappy I am with this service. I'd love to ditch them if my village allows it.

The garbage disposal (which we pay for in Richton Park) guy decided to leave my trash cans in the street, blocking a designated permit parking handicapped space occupied with a vehicle , after he, and i had words the week before.

Looked up, down the block, and noticed my cans were the only ones left in the street, he placed everyone else cans on the curb. This opportunistic driver/representative totally lacks any type of professionalism, and shows this family owned business in a negative light.
Not a good look for your company. JMO

Contacted the company, was told that the camera footage will be reviewed, never asked my address, or name. Just didnt feel the person i spoke with was sincerely sympathetic to the situation, only empathetic to me, just to ending the phone conversation.

Their response now, is asking for the township, and address after the posting of my negative review. Please note these actions by your employee are also captured on several of my exterior CCTV cameras.

This is the 3rd time this year (2017) they have missed picking up my garbage, had to call for them to come back and pick up

This is the second time we ve ordered a dumpster from Homewood Disposal. The prices are competitive and both times the dumpsters were delivered ( and picked up ) on time without any issues. Would gladly use them again.

I signed up for residential service in May and gave Olga all of my information including my credit card. Now in November, I come home to find my cans missing. I called in and once again spoke to Olga who said that I haven t paid and have been sent to collections. I explained that I gave her my credit card number. She said this wasn t true. I then asked why I never received a call, letter, or email about my account needing payment. She said she had the wrong email on file and she didn t know why I didn t get a call or letter. She never apologized for their mistake and now I m worried my credit may be affected by being sent to collections. I cancelled my service with them and switched to Waste Management. It s a few dollars more a week, but I m hoping their customer service and billing department will be better.

We manage several multi-unit investment properties. Homewood disposal is great to work with and have the most competitive prices. Our rep Jim is always available to address and questions, concerns, or arrange special pickups. Highly recommend for any residential or commercial disposal services.

We got a dumpster from Homewood Disposal when we were moving. The driver was on time and very helpful. He put the dumpster right were we wanted it. Homewood had the lowest price in the area. I highly recommend them!

They are very punctual, detailed and professional. May be a bit steep on pricing but that is relative.

A parasitic tenant ordered a dumpster and filled it up, Homewood Disposal agreed to remove it and go after culprit to pay the bill. Thanks for doing the right by me.

The dumpster was in great condition and arrived right on time. They were friendly and careful with placing it. The size was perfect and they were prompt in picking it up when we were finished. Overall positive experience and would recommend!

Homewood Disposal is first rate in customer service! They really go the extra mile - I missed a recycling pick up and they were kind enough to send a truck back to pick it up. They were also great when I needed a larger recycling bin.

Drivers refuse to take anything that is not in the container. Since that is what they choose to do then I choose not to pay for it until it is picked up. I understand if it is a large item but I make sure to make small items easy to pick up. So they dont get hurt. And I never put a large amount out I spread it out over time so it is not a problem. Maybe new lenox needs to get a new garbage service.

We needed a few roll offs for our projects. They were so great and the prices were phenomenal! The driver followed our placement instructions to the T! They delivered and retrieved the containers in a timely fashion as they were instructed! Our boys thought it was so cool seeing the truck and the driver would wave and say hi to them as they watched in awe! :)

Homewood slapped a sticker on my recycling bin saying no plastic bags. Meaning in my recycling reciprocal (aka trash can), I can not line the recycling bin with a liner. We are pretty strict on what we recycle, so I am certain there s no trash in the bags dedicated to recyclables. I am not and will not just place something in a bin; overtime it will get nasty. Extremely nasty. I might as well bring the 95 gallon can inside my house. Don t cut corners Homewood, hire the appropriate staff to be able to sort recyclables.

I want to thank the young lady who helped me out on the phone today. I accidentally forgot to take out my recycling and asked if they could come back around. She said that they can swing by at the end of the day and it happens. The guys stopped by at the end of their route to get my recycling. Thank you!

The sales rep for Homewood Disposal has been great. If & when ever I needed something they were always there. They have excellent roll off service & are very professional in what they do.

The process was so easy. I rented the dumpster on their website, I received a call same day, confirming everything. It arrived on a Friday and I called on Monday and asked for it to be picked up that day and it was.... super easy.

They delivered on time. Placed the dumpster exactly where I asked. Picked it back up with no issues. Could barely see they were even there.....plus no contact....

Worst Service I have EVER BEEN RECEIVED!!! RUDE , DON'T DO THEIR JOB!!!!

Amongst other issues, I scheduled a e-waste pickup and proceeded to drag my old super heavy TV out to the street on garbage day as instructed. No one ever came and picked it up. Now I have to kill my back again and bring it back to my house, just so I can drag it out again next week, hoping someone has some compatence and actually show up.

Called for a dumpster, great rate, prompt delivery and was picked up early on last day. Will use them again.

I have had garbage service through waste management and Republic on different properties and by far Homewood is better. You get a real person to talk to that is in Homewood! The sales guy came out and looked at my property and his rate is almost always cheaper. Homewood is a family owned local business. I think they are the only one left? They almost never charge me for extras unless it's a lot. Waste management was charging $60 if the lid was up 2 inches. Don't listen to the complainers this company is as good as it gets of the garbage companies.

Horrible, Horrible!!!!! service this company knocked down my mom electrical pole the whole thing she ended over a week with no electricity the company refused to take liability for the damage considering she is a elderly woman and disabled costing her a ton of money which there no need because she was perfectly fine until they knocked over her pole never did they bother on returning a phone call from there insurance company the most rudest employees of all good luck on your houses when this company drivers are near by your house they are so irresponsible I sure will contact better business bureau

Waste of taxpayer money. They were contracted by Lansing to provide services and on numerous occasions have skipped yard waste and recycling pickup. I will be speaking with the Mayor and trustees about this.

Two week damn garbage because they re not doing there job!!!!!!

Very happy and pleased with their service and response time to our requests. Called for additional pick up and had to call last minute to get the time moved up and it was done within about 30 minutes. Very satisfied and customer service was great and very accommodating and courteous.

Susan seems to need a new job every time I call she seems to have an extreme attitude. They dropped the ball with my the emails no I am to pay durning a pandemic. I will be switching services to no longer deal with the disrespect from a service I AM PAYING FOR.

After having surgery, I was unable to pull my garbage cans to the curb. Each week the Homewood Disposable engineer would assist me in helping me pull my pals to the curb and help put them back.
Great employees are essential to all employers. That should also be praised by the general public. We all know how often we've been mistreated by bad employees too.

This garbage company will take away your garbage and recycling cans with no notice when you ve paid for their service. The reason being that the address is incorrect when the village gave them the wrong address in the first place. So without addressing the issue with the customer first, you ll come home to your garbage cans missing. Now I m the middle woman trying to fix the issue with village first before I can fix it with the company. Just stay with your current garbage disposal company because their method of customer service and dealing with issues is backwards.

Homewood provided weekly garbage pickup at my mom's. When we had to clear her house out, we put a LOT of garbage out. They took it all week after week. No problems. Great service!

We appreciated the team effort today! When another vendor fell through on its promises to deliver, Homewood Disposal stepped up to the task to get a container at my home within 2 hours upon reaching out to them with such an immediate need. Nothing speaks volume than to have service without the excuses; particularly dealing with trash.

My husband have not had the best experience with this company over the last two years. You literally have to call them several times before anything is done which is so annoying because we pay them for their services yet we get treated like we don't. They throw your garbage can any kind of way. The lid to our can was cracked so now when it rains or snows the water seeps inside. I cannot wait to move and not have to deal with them ever again.

I was moving and I asked them to pick the dumpster up before the new owner took control of the property. I called them two days earlier and they still couldn t get it because it was on a Friday and the driver couldn t be bothered. The dumpster waited through the weekend because the drivers don t pick up on weekends apparently so the new owner not only got a new house it got all my garbage too until they decided to pick it up at their leisure. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The rep was super nice on the phone. They are 3x cheaper than waste management. They did forget to pick up the garbage one week, but I had an extra bin and they picked up both the following week. Overall, I'm happy.

Rude inconsiderate company. Use someone else. You get what you pay for. I don't want a crack head showing up at my house to drop or pickup anything. That's who they are! You've been warned. They are bad bad bad!

Originally quoted $375. In the end, paid almost double that. Do yourself a favor and stick to a more reputable company. Even if you pay a little more upfront, you will likely be money ahead in the end.

Worst customer service when you try and call them. You're put on hold for several minutes and then you get a rude response. Every week my yard waste is left on the curb. Then you ask for a manager and they have no voice mail set up. I left two messages, hope to hear back.

Third time in 14 months garbage personnel didn't take all my garbage of trash can. Took two large bags and left 3 small bags at bottom. I made sure nothing was frozen to can early Tuesday morning! Lazy!

My name is Mary A. Stevenson, I am an administrator for Hill's Auto Repair. I called this afternoon and spoke with Ryan is Commercial Accounts. The reason for my call was to make sure the email on the service agreement was changed and I also wanted a paper copy mailed of the service agreement mail to the correct person, because the fine print could not be read. He put me on hold (so he thought) I heard him say to another co-worker (referring to me) and I quote "she don't know what the hell she talking about". I mentioned to Ryan that I heard what you said, it was very unprofessional, and not good customer service. If this is the type of customer service that your company provides we will longer do business with this company. It was very offensive and unnecessary for such a rude comment. A customer should not be ridiculed in the process.

Several times they have NOT emptied my garbage as a scheduled. Its 90 plus degrees. Where am I going to keep a full can of garbage over the weekend? I called early this morning and back again early afternoon. This has happened too many times. I am paying $71.00 for what? You told me someone would be here by the end of the business day its 5:20 no phones are being answered your staff is gone. What is this? Get someone out here.

Great customer service. I used Homewood Disposal for electronic waste disposal as well as a dumpster after a full residential rehab.
They were professional and helpful. The ordering was easy and Olga Hernandez was courteous and pleasant. The dumpster was dropped off and picked up as discussed and agreed to, as was the electronic waste.
The whole experience was easy, stress free and very straight forward.

Contacted Homewood Disposal today to replace the blue disposal unit. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The receptionist then transferred my call to Priscilla who was very rude, unprofessional and lacked any customer service skills. Horrible Horrible Service which reflects bad on your entire company. I have also posted this message on Facebook.

Delivery and Pickup were timely. Did not try to sell me on a larger container than needed. Drivers wee very cordial and helpful withall questions asked.

Olga in the main office was very timely with communication and supportive through the whole process.

Prices were very competitive if not cheaper than independent waste container companies.

Will rent again as needed.

I want to know if they can change their dumpster located at 4329 W Park Lane Dr, it has the lids in very bad condition and it already smells very bad.
