For the third time in this hotel. It is fantastic. We are going back

We spent 1 week at the Steigenberger & it was super, super nice. Never experienced such great service. The staff is friendly from A-Z.
The facility, the rooms, the entertainment and the food was great

Beautiful hotel, clean, lovely staff .... many pools for everyone, beach nearby ... great for families.

This place is amazing. If your a sun worshipper, then maybe its not for you, but if you enjoy water slides and water parks it's great. Be careful though. The ground gets so hot, the soles of your feet will burn if your not wearing flip flops or beach shoes or something similar. I didn't, and paid the price later. Very painful experience. Not a bad price, and not too overcrowded.

The location is wonderful u immediately near the airport.
The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Do NOT stay here. 2 guests lost their lives and 300 was evacuated due to very bad sanitation. An independent investigation showed extremely high levels of E.coli bacteria in their food and high levels of staphylococcus bacteria. You are playing with your life, if you stay here.

I must say my family and myself we had a lovely holiday.I'd recommend it to all my friend's .

We were there at the end of November and we were completely satisfied with everything. Our room 3306 was super clean, neat and well maintained. From the balcony we could have followed the program in the evening, if you did not want to sit down. The food was great everywhere. We were mostly in the Magic Flavor at the buffet food. The offer was just huge and sometimes we could not decide because the selection was so large. In the Magic Sky and in the Magic Palappa Restaurant we were each once eat and it was also very, very delicious. The staff, no matter if waiter, room service, .... was always very nice, friendly and helpful. We can only recommend the hotel and we will definitely come here again.

Absolutely loved it here, we were supposed to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying 5 nights.

Rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The staff are very welcoming and can't do enough for you especially Shenouda, Mezo and Adel. The reception staff are all fantastic too.
The hotel is thoroughly cleaned daily, which you can constantly see happening.
The food is plentyful and tasty however this time my family and I have suffered bad food poisoning, we purchased two lots of medication from the pharmacy but nothing worked and two weeks of being home and we are still suffering. We think it's due to the staff struggling to keep on top of the demand please be careful especially with the chicken. We know we weren't the only one's due to several people in the pharmacy also getting the same tablets.
The queues to get into the buffet restaurant was ridiculous in the evenings. The roof top restaurant was a lovely setting and the food was excellent. Season's Bbq was gorgeous however the Italian restaurant wasn't great. Everything was far too salty.
The Sunbed situation was terrible except at the adults relax pool. Even at 7.30am a lot of the bed's had already gone. The beach bed's was similar. Obviously not enough bed's for the hotel.
I am a returning quest and although I love this place I will never return in the summer again. The poor staff are run off their feet. Going in July certainly I certainly saw a different side to the hotel.

Just came back from this hotel.impressions are really positive.hotel is located on the second line from the sea but they have their own beach near steigenberger al dau.not so far away to walk from the hotel.lazy people can go by small bus. :) entrance to the sea is good without stones,sunbed s are comfortable.there are restaurant and bar on the beach with barbeque,snacks,drinks.also on the beach u can use pedalo for free for half hour.in the hotel by itself a lot of pools,kids and adults aquapark,lazy river, pools on the roof for adults.2 pools are heated in winter.a lot of sunbeds so u can find place any time.towels u can get with towel cards.there are 2 pool bars,1 bar at the roof and lobby bar 24 hours. 1 big main restaurant with area for adults,2 big terraces out and area inside.so also u will not be stressed to find where to seat.very big variety of food and in the evening different theme nights( seafood,oriental,German,ECT.). 2 restaurants u can find at the pools (there u can get late dinner,lunch at daytime and also go there 1 time per stay in the evening (ala cart with tasty menu).1 more ala cart is on the roof with one reservation per stay. Also u can find 3 more restaurants with extra payment (asian food).service in all the restautants and bars are really friendly,fast and nice.we were pleasantly surprised.in the evening there is a show in the souk area and live music in the lobby. In souk there is also a place where u can play billiard,table football,watch sport programms.there is a disco also there with extra charge.rooms are not so big but comfortable.with safe box,shower and small bath,a balcony and comfortable beds.cleaning is daily and if u need smth all requests will be done very fast.its not allowed to smoke in the rooms,just on the balcony.free mini bar with soft drinks that they refill every day(cola,fanta,juice,water), also tea and coffee.if u want more they will easily bring to u.if u need iron and iron board u can also ask for it.reception work is always polite and intelligent . If u have questions they will try to help u immediately.they gave us a room with a really nice view and was helping in everything.i don't know if I wrote all but I have really much impressions about this place.big thanks to all departments and workers (reception,housekeeping,waiters in the bars and restaurants,cooks,recreation team,gr and others) for a nice holiday that we had :) . Animation team was a bit annoying for us but it's up to the taste as we like peaceful holidays. I think we will come back again if we have chance to do this.

Very good hotel and wonderful aqua park,just becarful if you have small children because the floor is very slippery and I'm not sure if they allow water shoes!
I was staying and the neighboring Aldau so my visit was just for the pools and aqua park.
I can't elaborate on their rooms or restaurants.

Nice place, friendly staff, good food, recommended place to stay

Old, but very welcoming, nice and clean hotel. We were there in May 2019 and the hotel was pleasantly filled. There was always room at the pool or on the beach at that time, without the system seemed as extinct.

The staff is very friendly and endeavors to offer the guests a nice time. The rooms were daily very well and properly cleaned, the pool area and the beach are very clean.



Our double room was nice spacious and nicely decorated. Directly at the pool area, we had no sea view, but also no noise at bedtime.

The entertainment program was varied and the animation team very nice and motivated. From gymnastics, aerobics, aqua-fit, volleyball and water polo, to the obligatory club dance including the associated -song one here on the beach and pool everything was offered. The evening entertainment also took place in the hotel's own "Marktplatz". There was live music every night, daily changing shows and games that you could attend or simply follow with a cocktail and shisha. In the shops you have to be a little careful: Especially in the hotel are the ideas of the seller sometimes really outrageous. In one of the shops 5 magnets should cost a whopping 30 , for a normal standard Labello 5 were charged and a very simple bracelet should cost even 8 .

If you want to take home memories, we can recommend the name badges. These are individually made every evening on the marketplace by an artist, here are the letters as animals, sunsets, palm trees or similar. shown. Especially for children a great souvenir and with 10-15 also not sooo expensive. Bracelets you get on the beach at the small stand at the towel issue for just 4 according to your wishes and hand-knotted.

One of the best and most powerful hotels in Hurghada and also the most expensive price

Very good food, lots of amenities and facilities for having fun (water slides, animation shows). They have a lot o pools and restaurants - you can't go wrong with this resort. If you want a nice view at your window don't choose a standard/economy room.

Chic hotel! I recommend to everyone! All at the highest level! It is better to choose a room with a balcony, the rooms with a French balcony did not like.

The hotel is located on the second line, on the first line there is the hotel @steigenbergeraldau his elder brother.
Territories of hotels you can use, walk, swim, get to the beach. Coming out of our hotel, you need to cross the road, at the exit there are metal detectors and security guards, you feel safe. Once I went with a long sleeve, stopped and asked to present a bracelet. On the territory of @steigenbergeraldau there is a golf car that takes you to the sea in a matter of minutes - we preferred to walk, just lulled Evushka in a wheelchair.

The hotel area is well-groomed - the whole day the staff cleans, washes, cuts, cleans! Pruned faded leaves, sweep debris, collect leaves fallen in pools with nets. Every 100 m there are garbage vases all over the territory.

In room safe, kettle (tea, coffee, sugar, cream), mini-fridge (cola, cola zero, juice, water - free, replenish every day!). Showed in story, but I will write it down separately, there is a shaving kit in the room (machine and foam), nail files, hygiene package, sewing kits, bathrobes and slippers, shower kit: shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

For children - heated pools, children's ship slides and water animation, wooden playground (swings, slides, sand), children's room (open from 9 to 18:00 - every day a new program, then Indians, that princess), the staff is all kids frendly, everyone plays with toddlers and older children. In the evening, children are shown cartoons in English on the big screen, and there is also a mini disco.

Food is very diverse, I think you can choose for every taste. More European menu, few dishes cooked very peppered, on the contrary, basically all the dishes are as it should!

An excellent hotel, the only fault is his way to the beach that leads across the street to the other side (al dau hotel), one 100m pedestrian, everything else is magic.

Great hotel with lots of pools. The restaurants are great and if you can't find anything here, you have a problem. Only the entertainment in the evening is crazy loud. If you sit in front of the stage you become deaf and there is no chance of talking. The beach is about 500 meters away. The sea right in front of the hotel's own beach is almost zero worth snorkeling. The corals here are almost all dead. Therefore, only excursions to the nearby snorkeling and smoking areas remain.

Very nice complex, especially for people traveling with children. Super swimming pools: a pirate ship for children and a complex of larger slides. Some of the pools are heated in April. 10 min walk to the beach through the area of the second hotel from the group, through a beautiful garden, it's great for us, if you prefer, you can drive an electric vehicle. In the sea, up to a depth of 2 m, a small reef can be moored. Beach bar ok. Service very nice. Large rooms / DZX1 / without reservations. The issue of food is difficult for me to judge / it was our first stay in Egypt /, nobody was hungry for the choice :) but compared to the same class of Spanish or Turkish hotels, in my opinion, less so. A close transfer from the airport is also a big advantage.

Gorgeous place, great helpful staff and brilliant for any age family.something for everyone. (All inclusive cocktails are not that great though).

Yesterday for 2 times a day visit to this great facility. It was again a really class day the kids had a lot of fun and Mr. Koko is just great he alone has already earned 5 stars. This could become our next vacation hotel.

Very nice club. Unfortunately a bit too big for me. Food for Egyptian clubs very good. Unfortunately had problems with the sewage which at times did not smell very pleasant.

I liked the hotel very much.
The location is convenient, in the evening there is a place to walk, a European promenade with shops.
The sea is clean and the beach is sandy, super :)
During the day, a cool animation team works both at the sea and at the hotel, and in the evening there are interesting shows and live music.
Our room was spacious, but not new anymore, but they clean it clean and always put water and coffee. In the minibar Coca-Cola free, water and coffee with tea.
The food is varied and very tasty, variety for people with different tastes, vegetables, fried, steamed and stewed. There is a great variety of desserts :)
The reception will always help and prompt, in various languages!
