Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam Review

Hotel room was clean and complete. Unfortunately it was a very bad bed.

Good hotel. No breakfast included in the already steep price. Room could have vern cleaner.

A very good hotel in all respects. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The food in the media cafe was super tasty! The breakfast buffet was richly filled. Highly recommended!!!

Good business hotel, the free shuttle from the airport is nice to have as it is the only way to go anywhere from the hotel.

Nice hotel. The bed was not the greatest and it sunk toward the middle. Breakfast is very expensive at the hotel. 27 euro! To be fair, that buffet had everything for people of all regions.

Generally ok. Hotel is quite old but rooms are ok. Gym is extra small. Restaurants are average. Check in/ check out time can be long. During rush hours they should add more personnel. Transportation to/from airport is free but only every 30'

hotel is perfect but the Customer service is really really not convenient for a 4 star hotel....
Even with sending prove of flight cancelled by flight companby, they still keep the reservation and no way to refund or even just change date. Not really what we expect from this kind of hotel, especially when you come quite often and expect to be considered as a regular customer

5 Stars service. I really enjoy my stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly. The room is nice. Breakfast is variable. Free shuttle bus service between hotel and airport.

4 stars for comfort, and for bedding !! 1 star for the price of the exuberant parking and the price of the completely unthinkable breakfast, served in the room because of the covid so no choice, therefore inappropriate price !! Pet: 20 per night !! All this added end to end, it cost double the price of the room !!!

Because we had a wide bathtub, I got tired. It was a very good impression because it has a wide bathtub, I got tired.
Basically, it is a meal at the restaurant inside the hotel because there is almost no restaurants around the hotel To sightseeing, it is hard to go to the center of Amsterdam.

It is hard to come to the center of Amsterdam for sightseeing. There are almost no restaurants around the hotel, so basically it is a meal at a restaurant in the hotel.

Nice hotel. Good beds, clean, super breakfast ... moderate shower (in bath) and windows can open.

Very big hotel. Training/meetingrooms a bit outdated.

Rooms are good. Generally the hotel shows signs of wear, some maintenance is needed. Terrace in inner garden has no service and is not cleaned. It is nice to walk in the Amsterdam forest across the road.

Neat event venue with good facilities, like a restaurant, sports bar and arcade games.

A totally amazing hotel! Fabulous breakfast and friendly staff.

The customer service so far has been impeccable but one point was that we opted for a room with a double bed and instead got two singles. We asked to change rooms which was fine, but the new room had two singles pushed together with a double mattress. It hasn't detracted from our stay really but it's something to note. Also, make sure you bring your own UK adapter because the aren't able to lend you one! You'll have to buy one from reception and they're not particularly cheap. We're still here so we'll see how it goes but so far so good

Prices are usually not very expensive in the Netherlands, although they are still a bit expensive compared to the Chinese. You can swim in the indoor pool and go to the sauna; if you are tired, you can take a break.

Had a good overnight stay. Minibar was also included, very nice. Almost missed the shuttle to the airport because the employee had to wait for the print device. That was a pity.

My 3rd time in this hotel. Breakfast is devine. Spa was kinda cold this time round. Bed was comfortable but staff both kooistra was extremely rude on few occasions with poor hospitality and customer service

Nothing to say ! Everything is impeccable. A large bathroom, bedding at the top, ... Even near the highway and the airport, the noise was almost zero.

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. Rude and unsympathetic employees. Although the hotel was almost empty, the staff pretended to be booked. Can only recommend to anyone this sh .... Hotel to avoid!

Need to catch shuttle bus. A9 stand on the right from airport exit. 50 EUR deposit on the arrival is not good for one night stay. Hotel is good but it is seen that it not new and refurbished. But for business meetings it is good. A lot of space to sit and talk. Breakfast is 25 EUR but on weekends it is 50% discount. I would not recommend to stay more than 2 nights.

Like a previous reviewer, our room 601 was warm when we arrived but it was a hot day outside so I expected the room to be cooler later. At midnight it was to warm and I called reception and someone came up and said this room is cooler than the ones upstairs and another room will be the same. I checked the air flow for the AC and there was none. The food is expensive and the staff not interested. There are other alternative hotels in the same area. Price was good but not when you can't sleep.

The attention and all attention to detail, very clean and the room very cozy, you have a bus stop at the door of the hotel.

Use of a conference room and all catering. Nothing to complain about! Great food, drinks and snacks. Good acoustics and sound equipment. Super!

Great hotel, with all the comforts Gym, Sauna, has a Sport bar (something expensive water bottle 3.50) restaurant and an amazing breakfast that is not lacking anything.
Large rooms very clean and comfortable, with mini bar, ironing service ectra ... parking should be free for guests.

A really great place. Breakfast at the weekend 17 but it's really worth everything you can dream of with Prosecco no limit also.

A large hotel on the other side of Schiphol. Nice and spacious and few crowds. Opposite the hotel you can also eat and drink and 2 kilometers away is a "spotterspunt" with a McDonalds behind it. The hotel itself has all the facilities you need for a night. Departure service is also present.

Stayed at this hotel many times now for work, always my hotel of choice due to great airport shuttle, friendly staff, quiet rooms and great breakfast!

All employees are very kind and they help you by every problem you have. The food isn't the best thing I ever tasted, but it's okay. You will not stay here for ever :)

A REALLY nice Hotel next to Schipol Airport. Rooms are luxurious and there s no noise at all.

Theres also a pool and a sauna you can use for free. At the reception you can get fresh fruit and water for free. Next to it is a little shop corner with souvenirs, drinks and snacks.

Would definitely recommend.

A very nice hotel close to the airport which means its far from all the cool and fun things to do in Amsterdam. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, which is nice but they stop running pretty early so if you stay out later please make sure you have a ride back to the hotel planned out.

The rooms are nice but have two separate beds pushed together to form one bed. I felt like I went into a time warp to the 1950s, it was strange, but the bed was super comfy so it was okay.

I would stay here again if ever back in Amsterdam.

Decent hotel, but 30 minutes from Amsterdam by car.

For a transfer hotel it is more than enough however for longer stay it may not ideal

Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Very good for price/quality/location.

A very comfortable hotel, very well located near the airport. The room is spacious, the bathroom immaculate with a walk-in shower, and a large double bed spotlessly clean! Not to mention the hearty breakfast, with a great selection of products, omelettes prepared on site with fresh ingredients, a treat!

Hotel tiptop, very clean only service and quality of the products in the SportsBar was not good. Otherwise the hotel was great. To recommend!

Clean and quite for business staying with free shuttle from n to airport

I did not stay there but I was able to enjoy the bar-restaurant. And it was very good. The staff speaks English very well and is very friendly. The restaurant is open until 00:00 and the Bar until 04:00.

Absolutely amazing! I had booked this hotel last minute and chose it mostly because I thought the price was fair - the value was just so much more! It is located about 10 minutes from Schiphol by car, or take the complimentary shuttle; about a 20 minute ride to Central Amsterdam. We had a short time in Ams., so we unfortunately did not get a chance to enjoy all of the hotel amenities (ie. pool, spa, several restaurants.) The rooms are not particularly large but have everything you need, designed to the utmost efficiency and comfort. Probably the most comfortable Queen size bed I have ever slept in, heated floor in the bathroom, espresso maker - perfection! The staff was great, check-in/out was a breeze. A real gem - highly recommended!

When you booked hotel out side the city or super markets are not close to the hotel.
One water bottle cost 10 EURO at the reception. This is insane I dont have more to say. Be aware and always book the hotel near to city market or at least supermarket near to the hotel.
The property is very common like an ordinary hotel.

Spectacular, good atmosphere in the restaurants and total silence in the rooms. Highlight the cleanliness and details like the fruit in the elevations of the elevator if like an ice machine.
The location near the airport, but the planes are not heard.

I was misinformed 2 times, the airport is very big from one door to another there is at least 10min and it running .... Thank you must arrive at least 2 hours before. The airport handles the crowds poorly and is quickly overwhelmed

Nice clean new hotel with a good restaurant and a basic bar. Also a good fitness center with a pool and sauna. A bit far from the town center, but close to the airport with a free shuttle - be sure to check the schedule.

My room was not cleaned well, and shower wasnt working. Ms. Farank from the reception acted like nothing is wrong, when i told her that. After i repeated myself, she did not offer any sort of appology. Such a fantastic stay and such well trained staffs.

Today we had coffee in the bar. What an extremely friendly staff. Kindly greeted upon arrival, nowadays not everywhere. I will come here more often for a nice coffee or something to eat

Very good airport hotel. Shuttle bus from airport so easy to get here. Nice bar in the lobby but good food. Superb room with comfortable beds. Expensive breakfast but absolutely fantastic good.

Negatives:
Unfortunately a leak in our bathroom, so the floor got wet every time.
The topper of our mattress was very soft and saggy.

Nice location, close to airport and downtown Amsterdam. Bike rental service is a great offering for business visitors.
