Quiet clean and comfortable. What is expected to have in a 4 stars hotel.

Good standard hotel relatively easy to get into town too

Good hotel, van der valk style with ice cube machines as extra.

Horrible customer service. extremely rude. I made a reservation with the wrong date and they would not change the reservation I was there at the hotel within one hour after I made the reservation and stayed there for one night. they are not flexible at all I've never had any problems with any hotels in my life, all the other hotel chains and resorts would cancel the reservation. I was at the hotel within one hour they cannot forgive me for making one mistake and they charged me for one night that I did not stay completely unfair. When I walk in to other hotels they always tell me they want to make things right call us, please call us if there's any problems we want to make things right. Apparently it's not this way at this hotel. And then I call there customer service and they promised me a complementary night. And then they send me an email saying
they won't give me a refund or the complementary night. This is my first negative review I have ever written

Everything was great with shuttle service which is highly frequented, easily accessible.

Are extremely disappointed with this hotel. Unfriendly and unsympathetic employees. Although the hotel was almost empty and in spite of the booked rooms, the staff pretended it was fully booked. Can only recommend this Sch ... hotel to avoid!

Buy a whole included pass at the airport and youll be easily getting by amsterdam and to the hotel with the convenient tramp every half hour!

An esthetically beautiful hotel with a nice pool and spa. However, after booking a wake up call the day before, I was woken 2 hours prior to the set time. I had a critical job application that day so this was unacceptable for me. Unfortunately all I got from the front desk was "how inconvenient", and that's all I ever heard from them. Also the cleaning staff did a rather sloppy job. They first of all failed to detect a showering cap wrapped around the smoke detector, which could have jeopardized the chance of me gettingy deposit back. Also for a hotel where you pay nearly 200 euros a night for, I'd expect the cleaning staff to behave a bit more professional, they were shouting at each other in the hall and looked like they usually clean motels. Overall, if you're lucky, you'll have a great time, if the odds are against you, I hope you won't miss your flight.

Have to say I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast is a buffet. There are a gym and a great sauna area. Also a indoor pool.
Had to stay for 74days and the hotel was great and friendly staff.

This place exceeds expectations, from the English speaking staff to the heated bathroom floor.

Great hotel to stay. Close to the airport and even is not at the city center, you can rent a bicycle and be there in 40 minutes. The rooms are big enough and the beds are one of the most confortables I have ever tried. The room is silent because it has a middle door that you can slide/close and thats keeps you out of the noise at the corridor.

The breakfast at the hotel is excelent. Big variety of products (all fresh), a cook preparing eggs and creps on the moment.

The hotel has a nice gym with a sauna and a small indoor swimmingpool. It has changing rooms with lockers there as well. Also has massage and spa services paid apart.

It has it s own shuttle bus that runs you to the airport every half an hour so you can take the train to the city or other places.

Very nice option to stay close to the airport, with good services and not far from the city center.

Great hotel. A nice room for 68 euros. And then the breakfast comes at 27.50 !!! And overnight parking in the 25, - parking garage, which almost doubled the stay. Next time get a yogurt and put it in the minbar for breakfast haha

It was very beautiful and has good service but was a little far from Amsterdam, it helped they had the free shuttle to the airport so we can take the train from there.

I liked the hotel. It may be relatively expensive, but compared to the ibis, where I stayed two days before it, it's just super. Good thought out room. Great breakfasts, quiet. There is a shuttle service to the airport. In general, you can live)

The airport shuttle, the female bus driver and the warm marble floor in the toilet made my stay in the hotel a good one . The hotel is generally clean ,the rooms are spacious ,big windows . Nice hotel I must say

Very nice hotel with high quality services. Impeccable rooms, service at any level extremely professional. Spa, swimming pool, gym, Italian restaurant, bar with billiards, airport shuttle included.

This hotel is so confortable. It is so close to the airport.

If you must stay in the airport area for a night, it is ok nothing more than that. The staff that checked us in was not very pleasant although the rest of the stay we got better service. If I need to stay in the airport again I will look into availability in other hotels first.

Top place for a meeting for more than 100 people. Good food .

Very friendly staff, very modern and clean! Free transfer to the airport every half hour. The pool was unfortunately maintained at the time of my stay and was therefore closed, but I was offered a local alternative with free transfer from the hotel and tickets.

Very good hotel with nice rooms, good food and very good staff. Will definitely be back. A must for everyone.

First time here. I got to stay in Amsterdam for the weekend before flying to Tokyo,amazing hotel.
Really professional and comfortable rooms.
There is also an arcade room with old-school arcade games

The partly bad reviews have surprised me. Top hotel. At the weekend you can park on the street for free. Great room, great bed. Free shuttle to
Schiphol. 5 * breakfast standard.

The hotel is fine and beautiful I know from previous experience. I am now very disappointed with how they deal with cancellations related to corona. It is a pity that you have to pay almost half of the room price if you want to change due to the fact that your trip is canceled. It would grace Steigerberger if you could just get a freely disposable voucher. Very unfortunate, in short better book another hotel.

Top hotel, huge bed. Clean and pleasant. Great spa and nice staff, except for the lady in the morning to check out .. That's why only 4 stars. In this job you have to be friendly, even in the morning at 6. !!

Excellent service, very extensive breakfast for all continents, very friendly and pleasant staff. The shuttle got stuck in traffic, an employee arranged free taxis. This will be my regular hotel in Amsterdam!

Very nice little friendly and friendly hotel, a pity that no one speaks French and reservation level they specify not deposit of guarantee for the rooms and in addition they keep 50% on it while I see no reason! Damage but depanne good, attention carpet dirty more

Good hotel, nice room. Beds very good, slept like an ox. No problems with flying noise. Very friendly was also the friendly and helpful shuttle service, this is more than worth the price.

Due to late check in after flight, free room upgrade. We had booked a room for 85 and were given a room with a studio for 190

At check in, I was faced with an upgrade sale like cheap car rentals with your unnecessary supplemental insurance. I have not experienced anything like that in life. Check in I just did not want to leave the room key for the booked room and had at the end a deposit (despite credit card) deducted for the mini bar etc as the man said. Like never had. On top. Have until today the deposit (3 weeks ago) credited on my credit card and can now run after my money. Incredible.

The staff is welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed the ceasar salad served at the sport restaurant!The salad deserves 5stats as well as the drinks they prepare...

This review is specifically for the sports and media bar within the hotel and not a reflection of the hotel itself. Entering the bar we stood there for a few minutes wondering if we were supposed to seat ourselves until we eventually took the liberty to seat ourselves since no one came by. We tried flagging down a waiter but couldn't get anyone's attention which resulted in us getting our own menus. It then took more effort to place an order and even longer to get the actual food. My friend asked for condiments yet the staff never brought it out until after the meal was finished. The staff is inattentive, rude and downright disrespectful. I have never received such poor service from a dining establishment.

We are unfortunately less satisfied. Unfriendly received during check-in, room that was not cleaned properly (upon entry). Then we hang a sign on the door to clean our room, they don't even come by. Expensive rates for food and drinks.

No, we will not be back!

This hotel is located quite remote but a free shuttle service to/from the airport is available every 30 minutes. The rooms are well-sized and feature nice amenites like free coffee and tea as well as a ironing board. But the best thing at this hotel is the breakfast. Amazing and wide selection of hot and warm quality food.
I would stay here again.

The staff was very accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful stay and that I had everything I needed. The room was clean and it had all of the amenities needed.

The hotel's price is reasonably worth it. Really nice stay.

We haven't been told that the hotel was having maintenance during the day which was very noisy. After calling the reception to complain about the noise, the guy who answered said that there is nothing to do and we have to wait until 7pm. Not what I wanted to hear after flying 11 hours and needed desperately to sleep !

Price ratio acceptable, good connection to the city, delicious breakfast. The only thing that did not please Sports & mediabar was that the food was burned, the service was not as helpful.

Terrible airport shuttle service. We got to the airport hotel pickup area just as one tiny van was leaving. We were told there wasn't more room in the van but that another shuttle was 10min away. We waited at the airport for over 45min and only after calling to complain, one tiny shuttle van showed up. We luckily got on the van but many people were turned away. Completely unacceptable since this is literally the one service that is required by an 'airport' hotel.

As airport hotels go, this one will provide everything that a business traveller will need. On arrival my greeting was warm which made me feel welcome. The room was very accommodating and the gym facilities were good enough for a great workout.

The only reason for this hotel not getting five stars was lunch in the Sports Bar. Customers shouldn't have to wait over an hour for their food to arrive; which was the case for me. This is the only disappointment.

Well ... on the whole OK ... the room was not 100% clean, in the bathroom some fittings on the shower were missing or were chipped ...
Early check-in is possible, but a surcharge of 20 euros ...
Breakfast buffet for 27 (!!!!) Euro exaggeratedly expensive, but only standard ...
Airport shuttle every half an hour, worked without any problems ...

Ideal for a business trip but don't be fooled that it is next door to the airport, the shuttle bus takes 10 mins or so it is quite a distance! However I would use the same place again without question.

The hotel is located near Schiphol airport, having a free well-organized shuttle that can be used daily, which is an excellent option. It's on every 30 minutes.

The hotel itself is okay, although we did not get what we expected and paid for. The staff is professional and friendly and they were assisting in all the situations.

I was surprised that they don't clean the rooms on Sunday, not providing the clean towels and it should be at least underlined.

All in all, a good hotel, convenient if you want to visit Amsterdam and avoid the city centre.

Reception staff only speaks English, ask me how people who don't speak this language want to turn it off.
Apart from that of Frau Schmidt, they were very neutral at the front desk, I say.
You cannot lock toilets because there is no lock, no room .
One time is ok, but it doesn't have to have it anymore.

All your usual 4 star amenities. Nice rooms, frequent airport shuttle, good service culture.

Lovely hotel .clean.staff are very helpful. Brilliant service all round.i would of giving 5 star if they told us at the start that there is a goverment charge instead of checking out and charging us at least we would of been prepared .

Horrible and rude staff!!! I ordered a taxi for 0530. I arrive in the reception at all 0532 and the receptionist rudely explains that they have no time to notify the guest of the taxi and the taxi read instructed to leave!!!! Ridiculous!!!!

It is a nice place to stay when trevalling to Amsterdam.... Confortable and in a good price condition.
