I loved this place. A must go or spend a very nice weekend with the family, away from hustle and bustle of the city. Good for kids..zoo , park, play area, swimming pool available for the kids

Superb place to relax and enjoy with family and even good for Corporate Trips

I really enjoyed my stay here services was very good room is very big and very neat and clean the facility was totally world class this is really good place to relax yourself.. This is the best place if you want to stay away from city life this is a very good resort available near Gurgaon. I really like the architecture and their food was very amazing.. the place is really very big and you really need shuttle service to reach your room because they have very big facilities and if you are nature lover this is the best place for you.

The best resort around ncr the salmon was amazing and fresh.

The infrastructure of the resort is absolutely gorgeous, with simply beautiful rooms and halls. However, the service is in dire need of improvement. The staff was inadequately prepped for the weekend rush and basic demands took far too long to be met. The heat took quite a toll on us because of the sparse methods or facilities to stay cool. Furthermore, the animals were in a terrible condition, ridden with disease and thirst. We encountered an unfortunate incident of ducks mistreating each other due to them being in captivity that does NOT suit them. However, the few staff were polite and knowledgeable and on the whole, it was a memorable experience.

Resort is Serene and pious ,only problem is approach is a bit secluded ,don't travel late night .

Deserted, far away, eerie, poor lighting. Food average.

Nice place for team outings, decent lunch and great breakfast.
Place is having swimming pool, sports ground and indoor games like TT, Pool.
Nice experience.

I, along with my family have planned a long weekend getaway and selected Westin, Shona as our choice to be. We drove from Delhi and reached this property on time. I would recommend to start early because the traffic at National Highway could be bad the moment you pass Gurgaon. Although, the checking time at Resort is at 3 pm but you may grab a bit or take a round in the property.

1) Initial Experience :- I should mentioned that, My initial experiences with people at Western were not very exciting. I have booked my holiday on trip advisor site and I was shocked that only one room in the luxury villa of 4 was booked. But, it did too much time to hammer out the problem on phone with the reservation department.

2) Reception :- second shock struck me to look at the reception which was as humble as two people sitting in 2 corners chairs and respectfully checking in and checking out. But, to my surprise things were going smooth & there was no time lag and people were happy to check-in and to check out.

3) Property :- we booked of Luxury villa for four people along with a young kid and I am out of my words to explain the magic this property puts you on. We were star stuck to look at our villa which was splendid and so lush green that you feel like you are away from civilisation and very far from NCR.

4) Luxury Villa (#206) :- Such a refreshing room I must say, I was absolutely delighted to get up to a lush green view visible from my bedroom, with the most eye-catchy FAN. The bedding was comfortable with 32 inches TV both rooms and a 42 inches in living area. Happy to do a lot of reading before dosing off. You can't miss outside sitting or may be sip a nice cup of hot beverage (in winters) or a chilled beer.

I would request AC Thermostat to me more responsive.

5) Bathroom :- another very unique thing about this property is the bathrooms. Nice big bathroom without any door a big tub in the backdrop of a bamboo plant was giving an absolutely different experience.

6) Food :- food is the most important thing to make or break your impression about any property. But I would say The Livining Room at Westin has won me over, food was beyond explanation everything was freshly cooked, properly served and piping hot.

7) Extra Curricular Activities :- this place is the dreamland for kids the property have lot of activities to keep your kid engaging and enjoying. The cool zoo where they can make a rabbit eat a carrot, do horseriding, involved in activities like art craft playing enjoy with toys in the kids room. However, we can run around in the lush green property play football, basketball, badminton etc. You can also take CYCLE to paddle around the property. Difficult to unnoticed Swimming Pool. My kids was happy to see Imo Bird cutting his way every now and then.

8) Staff & Service :- "Men at work" the most important force of people who seems to be hand picked to make sure your stay is worth remember. I would like to take this as a platform to THANK every person in Housekeeping, Gardeners, etc who made our stay so nice and beautiful.

Would recommend : -
A) bit of lighting from Luxury Villas to restaurant at night.
B) Nasty sound of air gilding early morning turns out to be noisy for people relaxing in room.

Most of all, thanks a lot for a nice stay. I would recommend to each and everyone. And BIG THANKS to the most amazing resort and @STARWOORDS

Amazing resort for a family vacation the resort is well maintained and has a wide variety of activities for all kind of people especially kids .Food was excellent and rooms are well maintained

I happened to stay here on 23rd- 24th Oct.19. The property is good, rooms are ok , food is nice ,staff members need to be complimented. Cleanliness definitely needs a lot of improvements. Balconies, stairs , furniture lying there was dirty /dusty . Table tops of glass seemed to have never been cleaned. Bath room, toilet floor was dirty. You could see mosquitoes flying on the door step.

Very beautiful and excellent all kinds of furnishings and adorable cottages.

Good Idea for a weekend relaxation with family. Approach road is bad for about 2km.

Good weekend getaway...fun for kids...as u get to see nature up-close n personal.for grownups there r enough to keep u engaged throughout the day you don't need to go out of resort et all.... however the last mile to resort is which kind of make u do offroading.

3 of the Luxury Villas were refurbished as of October 2018, although the ones not refurbished we're also very nice.

The food was good but variety could be better. The pizza was undercooked and it's base not authentic.

Lacking in local activities, the hotel makes up for that with a cricket ground, zip line, karting, horse riding, tennis court and more.

On the whole, the Westin Sohna is worth a visit if you're in the Delhi area.

Place is huge, and I would rate it just above average. No where close to luxury.

One of the poorest in terms of hospitality and unethical behaviour of the staff members even... Unpleasant conduct when asked for services and credit goes to Mr. Pradeep Sharma who doesnt even have the basic etiquettes of talking to someone. Thinking and treating someone as you own them is definitely something that's not in the Westin guidelines or training I believe.
The tone / way he speaks to a guest and someone he thinks is a vendor is totally different.

Big name , but bad service, damage our new car front bumper while parking , food is not good, wi fi not working , basic daily use items - dental kits also not provided , TV is Smart TV but no wi fi , request many times for a food item at restaurant, but no one to bother. Really bad experience.
