The snorkelling Is really good at Coral Reef and the Spa is definitely worth a try. Had an awesome experience with the snorkelling and the spa.

The staff and the service are what make the Taj Coral Reef stand out. After 7 days, I could not think of anything that they could have done better. The attention to detail is great! We were travelling with a 9 month old infant, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
We had a very nice beach villa which was updated with modern finishes and amenities. It was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but the private deck with hammock and access to a pristine beach made up for the size.
There are good snorkeling and scuba options also. This is not really a diver's resort, so often the scuba boat outings will have only 1-2 people out for the day. The instructors are competent and friendly, and there are a number of good reefs within a 30 min boat ride. The house reef has a wreck that makes the check dive fun. Dives are priced individually, so costs add up. Serious scuba divers looking for a dedicated dive holiday should go elsewhere, but for family trips with diving as a side activity, the Coral Reef is great.
The food quality is high and there are a good selection of Indian, Western and Maldivian choices. Selections for Chinese or Japanese are very limited. The open grill restaurant by the poolside is the way to go, the views and the service make it a lovely dining option. My only two complaints about the food are the price and the portion. Like all 5-star resorts in the Maldives, the prices for food are sky high. While I could accept that, the portions are really too small for anyone with a big appetite. I didn't mind paying the premium, but I felt a bit bitter that I was still hungry at the end of most meals.
The final selling point for the Coral Reef is the convenience. There is a 24 hour a day boat service to Male for your flights, and the jetty is directly across from the arrivals terminal. You literally get your bags and go! As our first trip to the Maldives, it was a great experience and one we will not forget.

Servants just super nice and accommodating. Room very nice and also twice a day cleaned. The food is excellent! Only, the corals around the island are 90% destroyed or dead. But you already know that before you want to go on holiday somewhere in the Maldives. The complex itself is in great and very clean condition. Super nice holiday!

In Maldives everything was perfect at Taj coral reef resort. Comfortable stay, Good food, great hospitality (from Kannan and colleagues). We had a good dinner experience at moon deck. (we did not want to waste any food so Husain and colleagues helped us with briefing up with the menu). At reef bar Suman provided us good service. Every evening at fish feeding we were able to see lots of sting rays and black tip sharks. It was a Wonderful experience to see lots of colourful fishes while we were snorkelling. A day stay in water villa was a great experience with beautiful view towards the ocean. A wonderful location for a photoshoot aswell. A clean and tidy property
Overall it was a memorable and worthy vacation.
One of the most beautiful properties in maldives. It also has amazing water sports. I would also recommend the scuba diving session, as there is a boat underwater that had sank around 40 years ago.

A very nice little island we visited in 2015 and stayed there for 10 days. The staff is very friendly and competent, food is great and rooms are cosy and tidy. The diving base offers all sorts of courses with great instructors. Corals are mostly dead but beautiful reefs are within short range by boot trips offered at the diving base.
The staff here is very friendly. They have the warmth the show a great deal of hospitality. It is a 45 min speed boat ride from the airport. The environment is very quiet and serene. The view here is picturesque, especially the sunsets. Also the service is really quick. Rooms are pretty spacious and the resort lacks no amenities. There are two restaurants out here from which one can choose a wide range of delicacies. The Presidential suite - The Nirvana is just spectacular. It has all the things one can ever ask for. It is a great option for big families.
On the whole, it promises a remarkable, memorable and worthy vacation.

The food was the best as compared to the other three resorts I visited in the Maldives. The friendliness of the staff specially Mr Rahual and Mr Prince. Very quite and nice pool. Very good TV channels and good quality of beach villa and path necessities. Breakfast is wonderful. Again the food was excellent but expensive. Wonderful place to stay. We came here for our honeymoon and we really felt blessed to come here and stay. This place is paradise. First of all Maldives is so beautiful and then Taj Coral Reef is so amazing. The staff, the food, the rooms, the ambience, the vibe everything is so nice. I went on a honeymoon. <br/> Because it was all inclusive, I enjoyed it without worrying about payment. However, it is better to bring extra dollars because optional items cost additional cash. <br/> I went out to the sea as it was from the room and enjoyed snorkeling. <br/> Three restaurants and Japanese menus were helpful. I'm glad the staff were friendly in simple Japanese. <br/> Since I went in September, I was worried about the rain, but there was a sudden heavy rain, but it was often dark.

It deserves five stars but I've taken away one as the house reef is completely dead!! You have to pay them to take you a little away from the Island for snorkeling!

One of the best resorts to go if you love Indian food and Snorkeling
We loved this resort and the staff. The resort is beautiful and has a lot to offer on the small island. The range of excursions, SPA and water sports is very large (unfortunately the prices are as large as the offer). We did the snorkeling trip in the morning and the guide was super friendly and led us to octopus and turtle. Special mention should find the food, which was delicious, also the breakfast which in addition to a great buffet some daily changing a la cart dishes offers was fantastic. The room right on the clean snow-white beach with the huge and clean bathroom we also really liked (if a bit getting old). The private hammock directly on the beach under the shade of the palm trees offers an excellent opportunity to unwind. The staff is extremely friendly and takes care of the guests around the clock, we have never experienced such Umsorgung. Many thanks to the great days on this Iceland, we will not forget that.

Ultimate experience of the water villa, the view from the bed is awesome with big glass doors, they've maintained a private sea which is not deep, even the non-swimmers can snorkel here and enjoy. The swimming pool location is awesome and the food is also great.

Given that I have stayed in a lot of Maldivian resorts, Vivanta is built on a comparatively small island. In spite of the size, the resort offers most of the services found on other resorts. The double story villas with private swimming pool and a huge bathroom is lovely to stay. The friendly staff will also help you to feed the manta rays everyday at 5 in the afternoon which should be something you should not miss. The resort, like most other resorts of Maldives has a quiet and relaxing environment.
It was such a wow experience 10/10 with no doubts. Well maintained resort and water villa was the best. Each and everyone are very hospitable big thanks to GM & front office manager.
