Nice place, friendly staff, Marker 92 is nice - very good breakfast options everyday and fantastic views. The rooms are nice, beds were comfortable, but could use a bit of an upgrade overall as I'd read in multiple other ratings prior to my arrival. I heard that they have started that process which was good and bad - because I got stuck with one that is still waiting to be updated. . . .
Awesome service and great staff. We enjoyed our time in the bars/restaurants and shops. The one bedroom king suite is perfect for a couple on vacation. Like home away from home.
This place was one of the most expensive Marriott group properties we stayed but the experience wise not that exceptional. It s Marriott s higher ended collections I could expect it to differentiate than towneplace.
I do enjoy how spacious the 1 bedroom suite was. Parking is easy.
The rooms were filthy. Carpeting was and sofa were dirty. Leather peeling on the chairs and the kitchen appliances were not cleaned.
Amenities were wonderful. Very polite staff, and very helpful. Rooms are amazing. Very comfortable place to stay.
I was subcontracted to DJ an event at this establishment over the weekend. I was extremely pleased with the hospitality from all the workers I came in contact with during the unloading of my equipment until it was time to load and go home. The gentleman on the first floor that helps put the bags on the carts really helped me out by providing me with an extra cart to take my equipment to the upstairs ballroom. The employees working the event inside the ballroom were extremely helpful and polite during the setting up, while the gig was going and during the tear down. I have played in a lot of hotels in SWFL all the way to Miami and this has definitely been one of the best experiences. Great job to all involved.
Very, very nice facility. I was very impressed with the level of service given from the staff at the conference I attended. The facility was very clean and we'll taken care of. They are making a few additions but you will never know because there was no noise or mess while we were inside of the rooms. Very nice place indeed.
By far one of the nicest suites. It was like being in a private condo. Full kitchen. Dining room huge balcony overlooking the marina. We did mobile check in and check out great option. Went to the Spa had Craig for reflexology. Amazing!!!! And Katie for pampered facial. Not sure which I liked best. Both were so good. Great location. On the higher side to what we usually spend But Sooo worth it!! We will definitely be back.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, the resort is nice meeting, great location and wonderful staff.
Beautiful hotel with spectacular views. Stayed in a two bedroom suite with a lovely balcony, perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee from while admiring the view. Suite bathrooms were huge! The roll away bed was like an actual twin size plush bed on wheels. Very comfy. Overall very nice stay at a beautiful place.
Upon check-in, they couldn't find my reservation because my name was spelled incorrectly. Then I swiped my credit card, the credit card machine indicated approval several times, and the signature line prompt for my signature... once I signed the computer stated it was declined. Cathy, then moved me to the far left computer to take my payment there. It worked there! the next day of my stay when my family and I were leaving for the day, I was approached by the bellman stating, I needed to speak with someone at the front. I immediately told him to have whoever needed to speak to me, to call me on the cell. Of course, no one never called! Later that night my family returned to be bombarded once again about my credit card not being on file. I told the front desk person, this was an inconvenience to me and that I gave the person my credit card upon check-in. I'm unsure when that person didn't save my card. I then told her, I need to get my kids to bed and that I will reach back out to her. I called downstairs twice using the room's phone and no one answered the phone. The next day I left the room and no one approached me, and upon leaving for that day, I told the bellman to have the front desk rep.. give me a call, but as to be expected, no one called. Later that same night, my mother took my children back to the hotel to sleep and when she got up to the room, she wasn't able to access the room with my exhausted children. She went to the front desk to notify someone of the issue. She was rudely approached, she felt insulted, and disrespected about my credit card on file. I was notified of this issue by my mother and I immediately contacted this hotel. I spoke with Cathy, and gave her my credit card again. I told her to give me a confirmation number for my payment and to have my receipt printed once I arrived to the hotel. She told me that she had to run the actual credit card using a different system and that she couldn't process it right at the time because she had a long line of people. I told her, that inappropriate of her because I'm also a guest of theirs. I refused to get off the phone until she processed my card. Once she told me the payment was processed, I asked if she could immediately reprint keys and she said sure, I will have them ready for pick up in a couple of minutes, but they weren't ready as she stated. Once I arrived at the hotel I immediately approached the desk to receive my receipt for payment. When I got into the room I noticed spots of blood on the pillowcase from when the cleaned the room earlier that day. I explained the whole entire bed needed to be stripped because it was contaminated. Housekeeping came with 2 sheets and a blanket. I told him, we didn't want to sleep on anything on there so he left to get the rest of the bedding for the bed. 30 minutes had passed and housekeeping still wasn't back. I had to call the front desk to request he return again. Once he returned, I ask why did it take so long. He told me, he was the only housekeeper on duty for that night for hundreds of rooms and when they call him, he's supposed to respond right away. This is unacceptable! I check my bank transaction history to make sure the total Cathy had given me was correct and it was correct, but she charged me another separately unauthorized fee. She didn't speak with me regarding this fee and fraudulently charged my card a couple of hundred dollars without my knowledge or permission. This is a crime and I'm seriously thinking about filing charges. I had problems from check-in to check-out. I really like this brand and I've been a loyal Starwood guest for over a decade, and probably would never visit The Westin Cape Coral Resort location again. They didn't even offer me a courtesy credit for all my troubles, and I'm very disappointed in their poor service this time. I paid well over $700.00 and this was a waste of my 3-nights stay. I could have vacationed elsewhere!
Grounds & hospitality was great ,
Rooms were tired n outdated, needs refurbishing , pools n property were gorgeous
Great room, comfortable bed, great hotel staff. Beautiful hotel, well taken care of.
I had both of my sons' Bar Mitzvahs at the Westin, and was amazed at how helpful and professional the staff was, especially the event coordinators, Christina Diaz and Erika Gabel. If you are looking for a place to hold your event, I would recommend looking into the Westin.
Five star visit. Staff was very friendly, rooms are amazing. Couple of restaurants close by but otherwise expect to have to drive. The ongoing construction was a nuisance and very loud but should cease to be an issue once they are done.
Beautiful views of the water and very friendly helpful employees invested in making your visit a memorable one.
Very nice rooms, beautiful views and excellent service. People here are so nice and always willing to help you.
The experience was bad right out of the gate when I called the hotel to book the reservations I was transferred to reservations who proceeded to basically tell me I was not going to get the rate that I was looking at online to click click click away and I asked him to stay on the line when I clicked it and he said no that's OK and hung up I didn't want to the hotel room he was awesome but come to find out he was probably just putting me on the back burner because he was off the two days during my stay I called customer care with through to people filing my complaint which basically they offered me upgrade and membership status which I declined I then proceeded to ask them why I could not get a free night in the hotel not asking for my money back just a free night and believe it or not the lady hung up on me while I was still talking I called the hotel again asking for Remi this is when I found out he was off And they said since I booked through a third-party provider there is nothing that they could do to extend my stay for free I told him the only reason I booked through a third-party providers because their staff hangs up on me before I could book through them so I am in the circle of aggravation do not do not stay here
Extra pool not open, food was not the best. Service was great. The nauti mermaid closed early and breakfast options were minimal. The room was very nice and clean.
Lovely relaxing beautiful yachts.friendly staff!
Tried to make a reservation, and got hung up on 3 times. Nothing bad happened. Maybe it's their phone system, either way, terrible service right off the bat.
I stayed with my family this past 4th of July weekend. Great first impression, except the room had chairs with chipped leatherette, broken curtain in the room, the food disposal in the kitchen was not working. Our second day the water pressure was minimal and the toilet would not flush. We called the front desk only to be told the pump was being fixed. One of the only two elevators was broken our entire stay. Unacceptable for a busy weekend. The hotel pool is tiny and was super crowded. Had to walk to the second pool in the recreation center and we had to bring our pool towels as there were none there. This cannot be a 4 star hotel. We had to ask for more creamer for the coffee and more shampoos and conditioners. The front desk has horrible customer service, I called and they said the room where I was staying was not found in their system. What? There's a $30 resort fee per day that only gets you a ride on a water taxi for 45 minutes to Fort Myers Beach. We got dizzy on the way there. I will not stay here again or recommend this place. Do yourselves a favor and stay somewhere else!
Staff was excellent . Anna checked us in and saw my Birthday was the day before . Not only did she wish me a Happy Birthday . She also gave me a card for a free appetizer or dessert .
When we turned on the Wi-Fi in the room . I received a Birthday message on there also .
Staff and amenities were excellent. We will be back soon.
Hotel is very nice and large. Banquet area is tough to navigate though.
Top notch property and service from the conference staff.
AMAZING HOTEL. Customer service and staff are very helpful and very nice. The hotel is very clean and neat. The view from our room is BREATH-TAKING. If there is more than 5 Stars, I'd rate it the highest star I can.
We had a lovely time. The captain JR was so knowledgeable regarding the dolphins and the area. The weather was perfect too
A good place to live in luxury very private with an excellent view to the yachts and recreation centers and restaurants
Checked in at midnight into a one bedroom suite to find an old couch with stains on it. Attempted to turn on the master bedroom TV and it was broken. Called the front desk was has given a coupon for free breakfast.
Woke up to find my 2 year old breaking out in hives pulled the sheets and comforter off to find stains within them..... Totally disgusting.
Looking around and there was dust everywhere
Needless to say we will think twice before going there again.
Most amazing hotel and amenities!! We d
Go every year. Rooms are wonderful!! Service is perfect
This is one of my favorite places to stay in Florida. It's beautiful and the suites are large and well equipped. They have a full kitchen, two bathrooms and the largest private screened in Lanai's I have ever seen at a hotel.
Stayed in a very nice suite overlooking the water. Contemporary and clean design. Would definitely stay there again.
Very clean. Drinks available at several areas within hotel grounds and there are a variety of choices to eat, again within hotel grounds. There is also a nice bike path and hotel offers bikes to use.
Out of all of my years going to hotels with my parents, this is probably one of the quietest hotels when it comes to human noise I've ever been too. Just this morning I saw dolphins as I looked out from my screened in patio. Honestly, I will be coming back int he future.
Outstanding accommodations and very attentive staff, highly recommended!
Dirty, animal stains on the carpet/rug. Loved the opportunity to take a boat to Ft. MEYERS beach on the river, with the guides educating us along the way! During the return trip, we nearly clipped a Manatee!
I visted for a brief moment and i must say, it felt like paradise
Great hotel! Beautiful pool, amazing exercise room. Wife and I had an awesome romantic getaway!
Beautiful resort, easy to access location. Enjoyed a morning of fishing set out from the marina, then a great lunch at Pincers.
Great vacation. Very nice rooms, staff and location.
NIce resort. We stayed at the Westin Cape Coral for a week in a King Deluxe suite. The place has a Marina on premises, curteous staff, large clean rooms, comfortable bed, and screened in porch, in our case facing the rear towards a wooded area with water. Other roons face the marina and river. There is an adequate size pool adjacent to the hotel with towel service and bars for drinks. 2 other pools are within walking distance,. A nicely equipped 24/7 fitness room overlooks the pool, and an on-site restaurant is available for all meals. Adjacent to.the hotel is a promenade to.some shops and another restaurant/seafood market Pinchers. Bicycles, for kids and adults, are available on a first come basis. If your package includes it, a daily boat trip to/from Fort Meyers beach is available. Overall, a nice place. Not five stars, as construction ongoing for a convention center, so was a bit noisy and disruptive. Therefore, main entrance was via "the service" road. Also, main entrance is behind the parking garage, a bit unusual and detracts from entering/exiting premises. Parking garage also promotes guests to park on upper levels, leaving lower levels for daily shoppers! Pricing at onsite restaurant a tad pricy.
Everyone was wonderful. Especially Charles, he was fantastic. The place is beautiful, seems EVERYONE was amazing. I can't say enough good things about them all
Beautiful area, everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Love this place. Fun fun fun one pf the reasons i moved here
Everything is very well-maintained and nice, and there are plenty of attractions and restaurants to visit without even leaving the grounds!
This is a beautiful resort with a very helpful staff. Our rooms were amazing and we had great views from the balcony. I highly recommend staying at this resort for any occasion.
Beautiful hotel right on the ocean, good food and nice rooms. No complaints
This is our favorite place to visit in Florida.... the hotel and location right on the water is amazing. The boat traffic, outside entertainment, and fun bar make this a place to enjoy the Florida sunshine.... the pool is fabulous . Staff is helpful and friendly ( Anna Marie does a great job.) Any problems.... see the hotel manager... he is the fixer.
Lovely hotel. My mom, sister and I had a great time. Only thing is I left my brand new winter coat in the closet when we left by accident. (We were flying back to Boston). I called back a few hours later to ask if they would look for it. After speaking to 4 different staff members, they all said it wasn't found. I know for a fact I left my coat there and someone must have stolen it instead of turning it in to Lost & Found. Very disappointing. I would have paid for shipping to have it sent to me. Other than that, everything was great. Just dont leave anything in the room after you leave! You might not get it back!
Really great staff and the rooms are big and very comfortable!
Beautiful. There are a couple of uidden resturants here that have great craft drinks and awesome breakfast. The resort it self is wonderful, helpful staff, and if youre a marriot member you get some perks.
Beautiful facility, modern and clean, excellent level of service from staff. This property is as good as it gets in the Cape. Nice Marina and good selection of restaurants.
There is a terrible precedent being set at the marina. All boaters are welcome to dock there daily Except if you anchored in the bight just outside. Then you would have to pay $20 that would only be refundable if you showed a receipt. If you want to walk outside of marina that costs you the $20. This very narrow exclusion is discriminatory.
Nice view of the marina and boats, good service, a fun place for a drink or two. Food is pretty standard, better than okay, so if your hungry go for it.
.
Very relaxing getaway place to go too. Very good food on the resort and staff .
For the short time I attended The Weatin Cape Coral Resort I found the place to be extravagant and beautiful, the community was nice and the scenery was fantastic. I enjoyed my visit.
So far, it is beautiful. The people are helpful and pleasant. The room is spacious and spotless. The view and location is restful and there is so much to do. Pools, entertainment.....
Gorgeous, clean hotel with helpful service staff. However, rooms are not accommodating for the number of guests it says it sleeps. We had stayed in a room that was to sleep, up to, 8. However, the living room had one small couch, the kitchen was only stocked with service for 4. The bathrooms we're very nice but again, between the bathrooms only towels for 4. The dinning table also only sat 6 and the patio seating, for 6 and very small. When we asked for additional plates and silverware, because we had 5 in our group, it was almost impossible.
Local favorite for staycations. Always a great weekend when we stay at the Westin. Kid friendly, heated pools, outdoor games and activities and wildlife viewing along the boardwalk. Last minute and off-season rates can be very reasonable.
One of the nicest places to stay in the cape! Great service but quite expensive for your buck!!
Located on the water a little north of Ft Myers, the Westin made for a great vacation. Service is exemplary. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were in a two bedroom suite. It was huge! Fully equipped kitchen. My wife loved the bathrooms. They were large and well planned. She wants to move here!
