I have had 5 pools built in the past 35 years. This pool by Stanley Pools was by far the best experience ever. They were professional, communicated well, and did everything exactly as they said they would. The pool was finished in a timely fashion. Everyone I dealt with were nice and polite.

If you are in the market for a pool, there is not a better pool builder in North Florida thank Stanley.

We were happy with the pool except 2 years later in side the pool the color is coming off. A girl came out at the end of dec and I have not herd anything, I had a few family emg so i was not able to get back till a few weeks ago. I called left message and a lady called I explain to her what happen and she said she will talk to liz the one who came out and toke pitchers and still have not herd anything we had a pool come person come out and said should last at lest 10 years now the deck is cracking we didn't notice it tell just now after we cleaned it. Hope to get this taking care of soon

Stanley Pools was a pleasure to buisness with. They built our pool in a timely manner and it came out better than we were expecting. If your looking for a pool contractor I say give them a shot, granted you probably have to wait, but when they start on your pool you will then realize it's worth the wait!

Stanley Pools was excellent.
This is a family run business that takes pride in workmanship and doesn t have to wait for subcontractors to get their phases of your pool build done.

Just passed a stanley pools truck on our dirt road and he was all over the road and flying like a bat out of hell ! This was during school release hours too and kids walk our road to get home! Our road speed limit is only 25 and he had to be going at least 45! Slow the hell down and respect our area and our kids lives!

What a great experience we had with Stanley Pools! From the beginning designs with Liz to the finished pool someone walked us through the entire process one step at a time and kept us informed during each stage of the build. We knew exactly what to expect and approximately how long it would take. Liz, Kim and Vickie were always available to answer questions. Greg stopped by the job site on a regular basis to make sure everything was going according to schedule. The various crews involved in the process always took the time to answer questions about their particular phase of the build. I would highly recommend this company. They are honest and hard working and every one who is affiliated with the company is part of their family. We love our Stanley Pool!!

Professional, reliable absolutely wonderful to work with.

Kim Stanley came out to our home and gave us an estimate for renovation of our pool and surrounding areas. She impressed us with her knowledge and attentiveness, as well as her genuine caring attitude. She not only listened to what we wanted to do, but gave us some very good suggestions about things we had not considered, some of which would result in her making less money, not more. Definitely not a high pressure sales pitch, which was refreshing. We've been dealing with almost ten companies to obtain quotes for completing a major, expensive pool remodel and Stanley Pools is by far the most impressive we've seen. I may update this review once we do the remodel, but given a few poorly written and equally poorly documented negative Google reviews we've seen about Stanely Pools we felt obliged to let folks know that our experience with this company has been exceptional. We've also been to their showroom and dealt with their office staff and have only positive things to say about both. It's rare that a pool company even has a showroom to display their offerings and it shows the solidity of this company in the local area. Stanley Pools is definitely not one of those companies that is here today and gone tomorrow, which is unfortunately a common feature of the Florida pool industry. Bottom line, I highly recommend this company.

They suck there over priced and the owner Greg was cussing and rude to the employees while I was in the office also they take short cuts on the work they do

I started using Stanley Pools on the recommendation of my neighbor, Jason has been great he knows his stuff! anytime I call the office with an issue or question they are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Stanley Pools.

I am over the age of 40, self-employed and deal with companies on a daily basis but never have I ever dealt with a company like Stanley Pools. Dealing with the ladies in thier office is a massive mess. So much confusion that I dreaded every single time I had to call them. They over react about everything but love to tell you to just calm down, don't panic it'll all get took care of.....but nothing does. They're all family so if you call to make a complaint like I did....they put the person your complaining about on the phone when you think they're getting the owner so if your unhappy with this company you have no one to complain to. They love to tell you they're going to do something but when they don't and you call them they don't remember what they told you and/or they make you feel like your over reacting just because you called. Massive disorganization. They never listen and constantly talk over you. No pool or price would be cheap enough to get me to do business with this company ever again.

Stanley Pools lacks follow through and organization. On many occasions during the process, we were given contradicting information and when asking pricing on options during our selection meeting, that information wasn't readily available and we had to wait days to get it. Many times our phone calls/emails were never returned. Being that this is a family owned business, everyone who works these is a Stanley, thus nobody is held accountable for anything. They are very disorganized.

However, I did give 2 stars simply for their pricing, as it is one of the lowest. That being said, with all of the other issues, makes me question if the quality would have even been there. Hindsight, glad we decided to cancel our contract.

We are mid way with Stanley finishing up our dream of putting in a pool and screened enclosure. From start to finish we have had a positive experience. Any family in Jacksonville area looking to upgrade or put in a new pool I would highly recommend this family owned business. Their professionalism has been impeccable with all employees we have encountered.

It is disheartening to see Mr. Greg Gentry review however not surprised. To clear up the statement, it was a mutual agreement and it is not correct on many levels. However who would give up a job and deposit that was already permitted unless it was not a good situation. It's not something we've ever done but however after reading this and knowing where the place he comes from I think it was best for both parties. I truly love my customers and enjoy helping them but this was a situation I couldn't figure out....I literally thought when we sent the deposit check back with no fees deducted, and sending them the HOA approval plans I worked on we would end in a nice place....guess not.

I could not have asked for a better company to build my pool. I have heard so many horror stories and didn t experience any of that with Stanley. I highly recommend Stanley.

I contacted Stanley pools for an estimate. We live in Yulee. I was told they couldn t make it out for 6-8 weeks. I made the appointment for 6:00 pm. They didn t call to confirm the appointment until 9:30 the morning of the appointment. I received a call at 5:45 saying she was leaving Orange Park and she would be there in a few minutes. I explained to her that was about a 45 min drive. I suggested it would be best to reschedule. She sounded annoyed, said ok sorry & hung up. We never heard back from her! Very unprofessional

I need to respond to Diane Reddick review. It is truly an unfair review. We've had over 10 years or more a great relationship with her family, mostly her husband. If you go to our fb page you will see my response of all the free work we've done for her family over the years. This is the first time we ever charged a service fee, however the pump that was installed was one her husband purchased several years ago and he called and asked Greg to put it on, we typically don't do that however we did it for a favor. When she called because it wasnt working we went out to access the situation and it was a switch that was turned off. We charged her the min service to drive a truck to her house and she started all these negative comments on all our review pages. This is unfortunate because we've had years of great realtionship with this family and to see her unfairly rate our family is heartbreaking, I wish we could service everyone's pool free, however it does cost money to put a man in a truck and all the stuff that goes along with that. As far as I am concerned Diane Reddick is truly unfair and unjust.

I have done business with Stanley Pools for years. They built my pool. We had a leak in our pool for years but Stanley came back time and again and finally fixed it. Tuesday morning my pool did not come on. I called Stanley to request service and was told it would be 3-5 days before they could get to it. I checked all the breakers to make sure it was not a simple fix! Today the repairman came and showed me an on/off switch I was not aware of outside by the pump. Somehow it had been turned off. Then he charged me $105. So I was charged $105 to turn on the button that I did not know existed!! So much for bring a loyal customer!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!We had our pool installed by Stanley Pools. Mr. Stanley Sr. was a pleasure to deal with. And at the time I was given every assurance that this family run business would stand behind their product. This has not been the case. I am so disappointed by their lack of professionalism and follow through. I had experts come out and they informed me that our pool was improperly installed. The marcite or aggregate finish did not adhere properly from the original install and we have been left with a costly and faulty mess. One contractor I had come to give me an estimate could not believe the condition of the pool vs its age. He informed me that Stanley Pools is famous for this and my story is not the first he has heard regarding their poor workmanship. This is a unprofessional company clearly using substandard materials and techniques. When I finally got someone on the phone they scheduled with me and cancelled 3 times. The people in the office are rude and difficult to deal with. They never called back to reschedule. I am suspect that Mr. Stanley has passed the baton to his children who are running this business into the ground. I have thankfully found a company who has been able to completely rebuild my pool and has given me in writing ALL assurances necessary to properly stand behind their product. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR TIME TO FIND A REPUTABLE CONTRACTOR. DO NOT TRUST STANLEY POOLS !!!
