The staff had poor communication with each other. I was supposed to check in at 3pm but my room wasn't ready. I was told that someone will come get me from the pool area or I would get a call saying that it was ready, but that NEVER HAPPENED. Four hours go by, I go to the front desk myself and they said it was ready. So I asked why wasn't I informed like I was told I would be, they didn't have answer. My kids and I were hungry and tired from driving. I was very upset we couldn't get in a room until 7:30pm. My hotel key wouldn't work going in and out of the parking lot. Every time I leave or return I had to go to the front desk first. I called room service for extra blankets and they brought them up but the guy that delivered them basically threw them in my husband's face very rude-like. The only person that was very professional was the hostess in the restaurant named Dion. Very polite and respectful. So sweet. She was the only highlight of the hotel. I would never come back to visit this hotel. I would suggest to take your money and business elsewhere like the Drury Inn by the airport, I don't know what I was thinking, I should have went there myself. I booked a room four days in advance online but the room I booked wasn't available, they didn't have any record showing that I did. But I had screenshot the evidence of the email in my phone and they didn't even want to see it...this hotel is just bad for business.

Great Location, Nice Rooms, Friendly Staff.

Great Location, Nice Rooms, Friendly Staff.
Well this review is for two particular staff members at The Restaurant; Natalie and Jennifer. As I was deciding what to order, Natalie was very helpful and assisted with providing me with recommendations to what to eat. Additionally, she was kind, professional, courteous and provided me with good conversation as I waited for my order. Additionally, Jennifer was very professional and pleasant as well. Overall, good experience.

Update...

This is my update regarding another great customer service experience; this time it was with a lovely young lady by the name of Tamara; she is a seasoned cocktail waitress.
She was very friendly, professional and courteous. She is not only a vet at this establishment but also when it comes to performing at the highest level of customer service. She provided me a list of food recommendations and I was not disappointed. Even though the place was busy for a Friday night, she continued to check on me to ensure everything was good to go. She also provided me with great conversation as well. There was even a problem with processing my payment which she was able to resolve immediately. Tamara is the perfect example of how customer service should be done at all times.
Great job Tamara!

They charged $15 a night for parking, there was no microwave in the room. The pool, and hot tub were dirty. They had leaves, and floating around. The rooms were not cleaned very well. There was dust all over the phone, and end tables. The bathroom toilet needed cleaning better as well. The front desk was not very informative, we had to keep asking questions I feel like the staff should have offered to us upon arriving, and leaving. They did not have free breakfast, and I wish they would have offered it.

UPDATED 11/25: Pool is great. Gym is mediocre. Lobby staff are inadequate; I ve been asked Have I had any trouble with my room in the past 24 hours? as a way to confirm my identity to get a new room key (not sure whether to say that I always have issues or to pick out the big ones; I ultimately did not confirm my identity with this question). I hate having to ever deal with the lobby staff, whether to address problems (cockroaches in my bathroom, stains on my bed sheets) or retrieve things (lost items, packages sent to the hotel). Room service operator sometimes doesn't pick up the phone. Preferences for rooms are never honored unless specifically and aggressively requested at check in (even having stayed in this hotel consistently over the span of 2.5 years). The newly renovated tower is definitely better than the older tower. Would never stay at this hotel on my own volition.

I slept on half of the king bed and put my ironed clothes on the other side. Housekeeping stacked my clothes on the night stand and my luggage; they did not stretch them out as I had. They did not change the sheets (my hair was in the bed), so why did my clothes get tossed like they were dirty laundry? I'm a gold member and I've never had that happen before. Also there were at least 3-4 events/groups at the hotel and the elevator was out. One elevator for that many guests was very inconvenient.

This hotel is beautiful, but they are not staffed to accommodate a full hotel. Two days in a row housekeeping failed to provide clean bath towels and toilet paper. They ran out of shampoo and replaced it with body wash. This is our second stay at this hotel in 2 months and we had to ask for towels. Dirty plates and flatware were outside a couple of hotel rooms for a full day. At this time, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Half the hotel has been renovated. Half has not. The half that has been is decent. The other half is old and dated and in need of definite updates. The staff is great and very accommodating. Worth staying at if you get a decent room.

The gym here is located next to the pool which means working out is akin to working out in the Brazilian rainforest. It is hot, humid, sweaty and dirty. And you get a great view of disease infested water. Opening a window would do this place wonders but I m sure thats a bridge too far and would probably require an engineering permit from the local government. The only excuse for this is if they intended for the sauna and the workout room to be located in one single facility which might make sense. Bring water...

The benefits don't out weigh the cost. You have to PAY EXTRA for basic amenities [parking, WiFi, & breakfast]. Rooms are tiny. Be ready for a 50$ non refundable pet fee @ a "pet friendly" hotel.

Very good hotel near the airport. I stayed in a room with two queen beds. The room has a large television with internet, the beds are very comfortable, and the employees very nice. The only thing I did not like was the restaurant, I received very bad service.

Attended for a work event and the venue was great. Professional staff and excellent food was prepared. The venue put a lot of effort into customizing the lobby and hall to suit our event.

Today I attended an all day business conference and had a great time. Friendly staff, food, and location are great. Close to the airport and restaurants. I am local and I did not sleep overnight at the hotel. If you are traveling to Missouri on business this hotel is directly across from the STL Lambert Airport.

What people need to be aware of when striking a deal with the hotels around the airport is that they don't tell you, you have to pay extra for parking because they are "so close to the airport" which I don't understand why that makes a difference as to why. Also room wasn't really clean floor didnt look vacuumed at all, the bed skirt looked grimy and dirty, I even saw a used bandage under the bed which is a biohazard because of blood

On the one hand the floors are very shiny and there are two great pools and a hot tub! The exercise facility is great. Then there are hidden fees 10-15$ for wifi, 15.00 for parking, breakfast, coffee. I've never been charged for wi fi. As of now the pool didn't have a fee. The room had a beautiful refrigerator. There is not a microwave. The bathroom is pretty small. I feel like this falls in between good for families or for business travels. I'm not really sure to whom this hotel caters. It's chic and very large kind of romantic. However kids Love the pools.

East tower is in serious need of a remodel (and thorough cleaning)! After the first night they moved me to a different room after I went to check out to move hotels due to my room being really dirty. Desk attendant was incredibly nice and handled the situation well. Room in West tower was better.
